Belwen beamed happily as she listened to Danna speak, she was also quite happy with the little sketch she had going. A more form fitting skirt for the honey skinned girl; it would look fabulous she just knew it. Her mind quickly went on it's own to consider all the interesting things that she could do with a school dance or she considered how much more fun it might be to do a student run dance. The little devil in her mind popped up a bit (this devil has pink horns and therefore is not very scary but happens to be very mischevious) there was some guy that sold something called schnappy, she would totally have to get ahold of that if she ran her own party; to give the punch an extra bit of zest.
"Danna, if you have a chance sometime. We should totally talk about golems...perhaps after I have art class. So I can try my hand at designing." Belwen tilted her head her bright blue eyes going to the door of the library. "I think that's the class bell. I best hurry!" Grabbing her things she smiles to the two, "it was great meeting both of you!"
Belwen decided she might come back later to see if either of the two were around. And once she got the dance planned out she would totally show Danna the sketches for her dress, heels might be a bit much for the shy girl but she knew once she got her all gussied up she would be gorgeous.

Danna was getting more than a little nervous with the way the fluffy girl kept staring at her and making sketchy notes in her book. Danna began to fret. Did she have something on her face? She tugged on the ends of her long, straight hair and rubbed self-consciouly at her loathed freckles.
When Belwen made a mad dash for class Danna watched her go. "Ah..." She sighed a little, relieved that she was no longer being assessed. "It is a bit of work..." She agreed with the boy before her. "But I like to have something to stay focussed on. Otherwise..." She shrugged, unsure of what her point really was. She was always working fastidiously on something. What would she do if she were to just stop alltogether? Danna imagined herself just collapsing like a puppet that'd lost its strings. Hrm...

The delicate Melancholy girl found herself back in the Library, where she seemed to be spending more time than her own room. Arwen had decided that since the Library had more books than she did, that it made perfect sense for her to be here rather than there to begin with. Her mind was alive with too many thoughts, from her first class to the teacher she had yet to seek out; as such, her deft fingers were curled around books about pantheons and music, a bit of a strange combination, but she wouldn't expect anyone to keep up with her elaborate train of thought.
Arwen carried an armful of books, fully intending to read them all within a fair amount of time, and certainly able to do so without too much difficulty. Knowledge was one thing she could muscle, or at least put forth the effort to do so. Seeking out the last recommended book, she added it to her pile and turned to find a place to sit and begin her much anticipated studies.

Grave had found that students wishing to actually remove references from the Library had been rather a seldom sight of late. It gave him some time to take care of the other portion of his job: sorting out all the returned volumes. He'd already sorted them into piles by subject, and now was taking trips to return like books to their shelves. As he passed down one aisle, with a handful of Philosophy tects he thought he caught sight of a familiar face. Grave paused and then stepped backwards three paces to bring the student in view again. Could it be...?
"Arwen?" He tried, his voice not that much deeper, even though he was a One now. He wondered if she'd remember him. She'd been one of the first Empyreans he'd ever met...but then she'd not been in his class block, and he'd lost track of her. Now here she was again, after all this time. Grave beamed an elated smile in her direction.

Arwen glanced over the stack of books as her name was called, seeing an Empyrean that looked familiar, but was certainly no one she'd seen before. She had met a One, and this wasn't him. "Can I help--"
He smiled, and the memories came crashing back to her; she knew exactly who he was. The books nearly tumbled from her arms, and she had to kneel to put them down so she could address the other without a mountain of pages threatening to spill over. Small fingers curled against her lips, her visible eye open wide with surprise. "Grave?" she asked softly, not daring to believe...oh goodness, he was a One! In all the time she'd been buried in her studies, he had made use of his knowledge and abilities and had been recognized for them!
And he looked fantastic! A genuine smile started to form, feeling a gentle surge of pride in her at seeing her first friend so advanced. She took a few steps towards him, knowing full well it was him even though her antics may have suggested otherwise, pleasantly surprised and happy to see the kind young man again. "Grave!" she repeated, this time with warmth, "You're...it's...goodness, how've you been?"

"Ah, Arwen! I thought it was you!" Grave placed his collection of books on the table and took two long strides forward to embrace the tiny Melancholic. After a long, heartfelt embrace he pulled back a little and grinned down at her. "How have you been? Studies going well?" He asked, genuinely interested. He'd not forgotten her, but had no real way to seek her out, and since they'd not had classes together, he'd lost track of her. He was, therefore, excedingly happy that she looked well and happy enough. "May I sit with you a while?" He asked, nodding to the table beside them.

The girl had just enough time to realize his intent, raising her arms and sliding them around the taller boy's shoulders to return the embrace. Arwen was thrilled to see him again, outwardly showing her joy with a wide and warm smile, more than a little amused that she had to tilt her head back to look him in the eye. "I am well, much better now that I've seen you again." Her words were gentle but earnest. "Ah, studies go well enough that I've missed the rest of the world as it continued on." Delicate fingers tapped his collar bone, her smile spreading into a rare grin, "Look at you! While I had my nose in a book, look what you've become!"
At his kind request, she inclined her head in agreement, moving to take a seat as well; it seems her books were temporarily forgotten in favor of her friend, not a small feat for the studious girl. Arwen reached out to take Grave's hand, giving it a gentle squeeze, "Tell me how you've been? It's so good to see you! What's it like, being a One? What have you been up to?" The questions poured forth before she could stop herself, garnering another happy smile.

Grave grinned handsomely, obviously very pleased with how his Stage One Additions had developed. "I haven't been a One that long. It took some getting used to, actually. My limbs are longer, and now I've a tail to work with as well." He laughed easily, shrugging as if to say 'what can you do'. As Arwen sat he made a point of being a gentleman and pressing her chair in for her before taking his own adjacent seat. "I've actually landed a job here, working for Requiem." Grave smiled, thinking she'd take fancy to this bit of news. "I'm the Librarian's Assistant. When I became a One I decided to keep the job." Grave gave a nonchalant shrug again and gazed around the towering bookshelves. "I love it here." He returned his gaze to her face, smiled, and then eyed her stack of books pointedly, affecting a business-like manner. "So, if you're interested in taking out any references, you'll need to see me on your way out."

Arwen allowed herself another grin, caught up in Grave's own handsome expressions. She listened intently as he talked, her eyes lighting up quite obviously as he mentioned his job. Were she any other person, she would have leapt out of her chair with glee for his position and her good fortune from it; as it were, she was simply who she was, and all she showed was a twinkle in her eye and the most child-like grin to ever cross her delicate features.
At his last statement, she stood and leaned over to him, giving him another hug that was a little bit tighter and warm. "I'm so proud of you!" she complimented him, her rush of words and ecstatic smile as close as she'd get to 'gushing,' "And you work here?" Arwen pulled back to better see her friend, biting her lip as she looked between him and the library. "Goodness, I spend so much time here, but if I check out books, I'd see you so much more often." Her words would almost be comical if she weren't completely serious, torn between the place she adored so much and seeing the friend she adored just as much.
"I need to spend more time in my room anyway," she said slowly, stating in her own way that seeing Grave again would be worth not being in the library as much and having free reign over its books. Coming from Arwen, it was no small remark.

Grave returned her hug enthusiastically and smiled. He knew how much this place and all it's contents meant to her, so it was a compliment he fully understood the depths of. "Believe me, I know what you mean. I spend so much time here, myself. Requiem's actually asked me to go home and sleep in my own bed a few times." Grave grinned sheepishly and ran a hand through his dark hair. "But it seems that no matter how much I read, I'll never get to the end of it all." He smiled about at the place, his eyes lingering on the stacks of books on the table. "What sorts of studies have captured your fancy, Arwen?" Grave asked curiously, genuinely wanting to know.

The resident Echoes were out and about, taking a break from the Infirmary and they'd heard that another One had taken up a job in the White District. Curious, they'd made their way to the library, both to look up a few things in the astronomy charts and to say hello.
Not finding any Ones about immediately, they went in search of the astronomy maps, speaking quietly as they walked along. When the sound of other voices joined theirs, they paused and exchanged glances. The people who were speaking were nearby... it couldn't hurt to see who was there could it? Smiling, the nurses approached quietly, hoping they weren't being obtrusive as Grave and Arwen came into view.

Arwen either hadn't deemend it necessary to look around at the others in the library, or was simply too engrossed with the young man next to her as to notice. The youth chuckled softly at Grave's admittance to being sent home; she could see similar problems arising were she ever to work for the library. For her and her kind, the library was home.
"And that's just as well, I'm not sure I'd want an ending." The thought startled her a little, but she showed no outward sign of her feelings other than a slight puckering of her lips. Her slender brows raised as the One questioned her 'fancy,' earning another light smile. "Ah. Currently I am somewhere between pantheons, philosophy and music." It didn't strike her as odd at all to be balancing such different subjects; indeed, they might have all tied together. "I am looking forward to Professora Bellona's class. Perhaps I should do some reading on that..."

Grave smiled and nodded. "Bellona is a strict but talented Professora. I suspect you'll do well under her tutelage." Grave paused and looked up, sensing someone was in the room. He recognised them...he'd seen them at events before. "Did you need help with something?" Grave asked politely, wondering if he'd need to pull away from his friend so soon.

They shook their heads, "Not at all. Just passing through, actually. But we heard you and thought we might say hello." Aureus smiled while Argentum waved, greeting the two. "We work near each other, after all. We work in the Infirmary, assisting Euphrasia.""I'm Argentum." The pale blue of the two announced, introducing himself with a smile and extending a hand in greeting, "Pleasure to meet you." "And I'm Aureus." He nodded, extending a hand as well. His gaze shifted between Arwen and Grave, "Have we caught you at a bad time?" Argentum tilted his head to the side a little, wondering if they'd interrupted something.

Arwen was pleased by Grave's encouragement and praise, all but preening at his kindness. Her moment of pleasure was short lived as two others came by, replacing her elation with curiosity. More Ones? She was momentarily taken with their wings more than anything, briefly reminded of mythical aviaries of legened before she found her manners. In her surprise and admiration, she had only heard something about 'work' and 'catching at a bad time.' Assuming the the Ones were speaking to Grave - as they mentioned working, which was not something she did - the girl curtsied before clasping her hands in front of her.
She wasn't keen on leaving Grave so soon after finding him again, feeling something akin to dismay, but showing nothing of it. Very politely, she intoned to her friend, "If you need to work, I will be certain to check out some books later." There was a small smile as though she was sharing a private joke, before she gave another curtsey to the twins, moving towards the aisle behind Grave where her books still lay.
