⇢ Temper:Carnal⇢ Personality:Vanrui, in all essence, was a father's girl. She took after the wolf portion of the family with strong bonds toward them. She often felt the need to run and hunt and play, though would hold herself back. She wanted to be refined for her mother, and help take after that side as well. Whatever she decides to do, she does it to her fullest. She puts her heart and soul into everything she does, refusing to show herself as a weak or low. She is a very head strong female, wanting to prove herself to be the best of the best when it comes to living within the Flock. Due to how she appears, she doesn't show herself to be Flock. She's very wolf like, with the feathers of her mother on her flank. But aside from that, she was unable to climb the trees at her Sisters did, and due to that, she felt as though she had to prove herself.
She's very passionate in all that she does. And because of that, she shows just how strong she is. Vanrui isn't a sweet mare. She tells it how it is and shows just how strong she is. She doesn't like the thought of people forcing her to be pick between her love of hunting and her distaste of sitting still. She likes to always be in motion, unless she needs to rest. If she has to pause and take a minute to herself, she will. If she needs to go out of her way to make her voice heard, so be it. Vanrui doesn't roll over and show her belly to anyone; and it will be a cold day in hell when she actually does.
Despite not being able to raise her children as she willed, Vanrui is certain that she will, eventually, be a great mother. She has the natural instinct to take care of those around her, and wishes to prove it to those around her. She isn't interested in children that are not related to her in some way, finding them to be a bother rather than someone to coddle. She's opposite her mother in that way.█████ ████████ ███ ███████████ ⇢ Quirks:⊱ Vanrui only holds still when sleeping. Otherwise she is moving in some way. ⊱ She growls when irritated, much like her father.⇢ Fears:☠ Rejection.⇢ Likes:♥ Hunting. ♥ Running int he moonlight. ♥ Spending time with her mother.⇢ Dislikes:✖ Betrayal. ✖ The weak at heart. ✖ Feline creatures.█████ ████████ ███ ███████████ ⇢ Skills:❣ Hunting and tracking. ❣ Stamina is through the roof.

Honovi and Vanwyn were deeply in love. They did all they could, caring and taking care of each other. It wasn't until one moon, when they mated under the stars, that it ended up being the best gift of all for the two parents. They developed to the point that Vanwyn was pregnant with three foals. Three beautiful foals that would make her life more than she could ever explain. She had her foals too soon for her liking, and was marveled by the little gifts that the great Mother gave her. She adored upon each one, before tucking them away into the safety of her nest until they were ready to develop past their slumbers.█████ ████████ ███ ███████████ Vanrui was the youngest of the three children. She was the one that most closely resembled her father, and in that, took to him like glue. As a young child, she was hyper and happy, learning how she could. She enjoyed running around and hunting small game with Honovi while teasing her sister about her clumsy claws. Where Vanetette wasn't swift on her feet, Vanrui could take turns on a coin and run as fast as she could. She was deemed to be blessed with the form of a wolf, and started her training very quickly in hunting and guarding those around her. █████ ████████ ███ ███████████ Vanrui grew up strong and fast. She often went out with Honovi in order to assist in hunting and learn from him. Along with her father, she was able to learn from wolf familiars, talking to them and spending time with them as she hunted and brought back large game for the Flock to feed on. She was quickly becoming a skilled huntress, able to take down prey bigger than she was with little effort. She was deemed by some as "Spirit-touched"; saying that the wolves touched her and gave her the ability to take down anyone that dared step in her path. For that, she enjoyed it thoroughly, and started to hunt more than she should; lining her "den" with furs of her marks.
And then came the night that her sister disappeared. Shocked, Vanrui went in search of Vanetette, to be met with nothing. She was appalled and uncertain, and returned home with no news to give her grieving mother. She eventually let it slide, cursing her sister under her breath until she was approached by her brother. Mikasi spoke of dreams of being out of this place; dreams off meeting others besides the sisters. Not wanting him to be hunted down and killed upon leaving the Flock, Vanrui escorted him out, and let him free without talking to anyone else about it. When she returned, it was to her mother's frantic eyes, and her fathers missing form. Not realizing what she had just done, Vanrui realized that she had made a grave mistake, and felt the guilt heavy on her shoulders. She tried hard to assist her mother's healing, only to be rejected and pushed aside like bones from a kill.
She tried her hardest to help her mother, but only ended up being pained and cast aside. Eventually, she left the Flock on a hunt, wanting to clear her head and finding that as the only way too. Instead of clearing her head, she became more confused. She ran into a stallion named Naberius, who she connected to on a level she didn't understand. He challenged her and made her want to drive to do better. Because of that, she stayed gone for a few days, and ended up with foal. When she returned, they were able to finally call her mother down from the nest, and calm her. She started to heal, but Vanrui soon realized that she was pregnant, and was scared. She fled from the Flock, claiming she was going on a hunt for some rare bison she had heard of wandering near the Flock, and sought out Naberius once more. She stayed with him until she finally gave birth, before fleeing once again, scared to have three small creatures so dependent on her.
As it turned out, she spent days pacing in the Flock, worried about her children. She often huffed at people and acted oddly, and even her mother questioned what was wrong with her. She ended up leaving once again, hunting down her children and the stallion she had mated with. She talked to them for hours, explaining her home land and what she wanted for them, and that she would allow them to pick if they wished to stay with Naberius or come back to the Flock with her. At the end, only one came back with her, her youngest named Inugami. She cared for the young wolf, teaching her the ways of the Flock, until she was grown. █████ ████████ ███ ███████████ 。 Settling into the Flock once more; caring for her mother. 。 Training once more on how to hunt with the Flock and not alone.

⇢ Temper:Aggressive Protector⇢ Personality:Not much is known about Tigrinus. Many people just see him in a flash of blurred green/silver, and a rush of water. Very few get to actually talk to the silent stallion of the deep. If you do happen to get him to stay still for a few moments time, he won't do much but stare and watch the creatures around him. When he does speak, it is in very few words, and spoken rather slowly; so that those that he speaks to actually listen to him, rather than believing they are listening. He is a firm believer of "You have to listen, not hear." Tigrinus is a wise stallion, with few words, and no one has every argued with the words he has spoken to them.
When in a fight, this stallion risks everything to protect any creature that needs him. Think of him as the "Dark Knight of the Deep". If he sees someone in trouble, even if they are on the surface, he will do everything in his power to stop them. That once involved him dragging himself onto the surface and thrashing with a meat eater in order to save a foal who had gotten it's hoof caught in the sand. As soon as the danger is gone, he leaves those to live their lives in peace once more. Tigrinus spends most of his time traveling the channels and rivers, before going back to the sea, where he has made his home.
Foals are a soft spot for this protector. If he finds one that is on their own, with no family or guardian around, he will take them under his fin, and ensure that they know how to care for themselves. He has raised several small Seathi until he knew that they were ready to be on their own. He is still quiet when it comes to raising foals, often times explaining to them to follow and learn by watching, and doing. Nothing can be learned by being told. To survive, one must try. And if they fail, they must try again. As soon as the child is ready to be on their own, Tigrinus will leave them in the middle of the night, and usually never be heard from again.█████ ████████ ███ ███████████ ⇢ Quirks:⊱ He is blind in his left eye, so when he tilts his head to the right, he is looking at you. If his head is turned toward the left, he is ignoring you completely. ⊱ He flicks his tail when he is very irritated. ⊱ When he's dismissing someone, he generally clicks his tongue, and turns his back on them.⇢ Fears:☠ Being unable to save someone who needs him. ☠ Nightmares that plague him from his foal-hood. ⇢ Likes:♥ Fighting. ♥ Watching foals playing. ♥ Music; specifically those sung by others. ♥ Peace.⇢ Dislikes:✖ Bullies, thieves, most that would cause problems. ✖ Thunderstorms. ✖ Feeling weak/being unable to fight.█████ ████████ ███ ███████████ ⇢ Skills:❣ He is a skilled fighter, both with his hooves and his tail. ❣ Scavenging is something that he is rather good at, even from grabbing grasses from the beaches closest to the water.

Just East of the jungle, in the depths of the water that was a mystery to most all of the landwalkers, lived a couple. The father, a large Mer, with long black hair and slick grey skin. The mother was a fair creature, a soft green with stripes running along her form. They were quite happy, living amongst the sea creatures who aided them in their happy life. Dolphins and jellyfish, little turtles and fish. Occasionally they would have a visitor in the form of another Mer or a Seathi, and rarely a Kelpi. But the couple was too happily in bliss to care.
The mare was pregnant. She had been for some time; and soon enough a baby would come from her. One bright morning, the baby was ready. After hours of pain and pushing, the foal emerged, fumbling around the water and trying to figure out how to swim. His father came to his aid, supporting him while the mare caught her breath. He was a perfect match between the two adults. Grey skinned, with green accents and stripes, and short black hair. They named him Tigrinus; a strong, sturdy name, in hopes that their baby boy would be just as strong.█████ ████████ ███ ███████████ And strong he did grow. He was becoming a large Mer child quickly. Swimming and hunting small fish for food came naturally to the child. He learned what species could be eaten and what couldn't, as well as who were friends and who were enemies. One day, he was taken up the river, and to a herd that, as his father described, were "Nagas"; special Kelpi that were rare now, amongst the world. Though Tigrinus was scared and mostly hid behind one of his parents, he enjoyed the time up in the rivers. He played with a few other children, before they went back down the river and to their home.
Not but a few months after his birth, a storm hit. His father had said it was the worst storm in his long life. They had been out swimming when the water began to churn. It was too strong for the baby, and Tigrinus was wretched away from his parents, and taken on a current far away. By the time he woke up from the storm thrashing him around, and being exhausted from trying to fight the current, he was in unfamiliar grounds. Everything looked different, and everything confused him. He panicked. He looked for his parents. He cried, and screamed.
Days passed, and he finally realized he was alone. Tigrinus bucked up, as his father had told him to do several times when he was upset, and went hunting. He had to re-learn the fish in this area; since they looked different than the ones that he grew up with. As the days passed, he slowly began to grow and learn more and more. As he was growing, he watched as the bigger creatures seemed to pick on the smaller ones. He observed Kelphi and Mers attacking Seathi, and kicking them to the mud on the floor of the waters. One day, Tigrinus couldn't watch it any longer. He surged forward, and attacked the Kelpi that was picking on one of their smaller brethren. It didn't end well. Tigrinus ended up bruised and battered, but the Kelpi no longer bothered with the Seathi, and left soon after.
It was then that Tigrinus realized that he had to do something about the bullies in the world. He began to train himself to protect the weak, so that they wouldn't be harmed.█████ ████████ ███ ███████████ Tigrinus gained his adulthood early in his life. He despised bullies, and those that prayed on the weak. That being said, he trained himself, and fought off anyone who dared to threaten those around him. For years he attacked and fended off larger creatures from harming those who couldn't save themselves. On the waves, he heard rumor of a large alligator near the jungles. This creature was killing off others, specifically foals and Seathi. Angered by the thought, Tigrinus traveled for many days until he reached the jungle coast. He asked around, and did some research, before finding the waters in which the creature swam. It took him but a few moments to run into the alligator. They exchanged words for barely a few moments, before the fight began. It was bloody and painful. At one point, the alligator got him in the eye. He lost half his vision that day. But the alligator lost its life. With the danger taken care of, Tigrinus rested. When he woke up, the pelt of the alligator laid in front of him; a gift from those that witnessed the fight. He fastened it along his shoulders and neck, before leaving the creatures to their lives in the waters.
Tigrinus grew after that moment. He realized that to save lives, he would have to take them. He made his way around the waters, taking care of those who couldn't take care of themselves. He gained many scars, and ended up with a bone breastplate as well, after an incident when he was forced onto a rock that pierced part of his chest. He took care of a few foals in his days as well, finding that seeing them helpless as he was as a child was not something to be lived with. He never once settled down, always traveling and seeking out those that needed him. █████ ████████ ███ ███████████ 。 Traveling the rivers and waterways, ensuring everyone is safe. 。 Planning a visit to the "Naga" herd of his childhood.
