Sigma slowly helped the Rouge up, "No' like tha' no" He examined the damage momentarily, "I'm jus' as wounded. If we go t'gether she can get some aid, no' that I think she'll need it." He looked at her and smiled a pain stricken smile, but a smile none the less.

He recalled the smell of that coat burning. . . it was like shedding a layer of himself. . . and that first bath in Arad was like cleaning his flesh of any other blood that he'd shed other than his own. He shook his head, carefully helping the Rouge up the steps,

"Ha ha ha, yours ez rather interesting as vell," Arvada smiled. She looked up the long line of stairs which seemed near endless. Well, endless since she was used to speeding around so it felt like a short dash. Taking the slower speed. . . Well, it was different but not unfamiliar. "Ez a long way up. . . 'aven't been at zis pace for a vile now." She looked back to the spitfire, "Since ve aren't getting zere any time soon, I suppose ve can pass ze time vith small talk?"

As for me, I just like going fast. Ze feeling of flying past enemies and striking before zey 'ave a chance to react is great. . . Also necessary. Many times I've 'eard of duels vere vo ever vas ze sharpest in vit and speed, always won and lived. Others, zey are not as lucky. Dead or ruined if zey vere not spars." The rogue gave a small sigh, "I can't always overpower my opponents, but zey are free to try to catch me. Zis time. . . . I vas too over confident for my own good."

So When I was old enough to know right er wrong, I let a family take my bro'er so when I made my move, he'd ne'er see it. . . I shot the ring fin'er off the caretaker and left the orphanage and started living a life o' trouble. . . bu' a man saw through it all... fer a while, he took care of me. . . Maybe he'd still be alive if I wasn't so stupid. . . .An' the Pita family would still have a father instead o' bein' here. . ." He frowned, "I made a vow t' become a great General Viper, t' prove tha' I was worth somethin. . . t' show e'ery one tha' I could do it. . . but now. . .Look were I landed. I was almost killed by someone I thought loved me. . . an' I made a horrible decision in the first place. . ."

The rogue looked back up the stairs, she could see one of the blood spatters that were left from her first hit on the stairs. The elf winced a bit from the memory. "We're getting close. . ."
