Shaoran nodded at the two as he pulled out of his backpack two packets of dried sealed beef ramen.

"Next, we'll be learning water manipulation. This is a neccessary for all mist ninja, since we must be adept to using water for any situation if accesible. Now, we'll start with the main uses of water, heating and cooling. I got here two freshly bought packs of ramen. I told the ramen shop and sushi shop to deny any of my students for the entire day, so you will be without food until then. If you try to return to your homes without learning this technique, my origami birds will hunt your down and disable you in anyway possible. I want you to focus your chakra on the water and heat it up to a boil."

Shao takes two pots from his backpack and fills them with freshwater from his canteen.

"Now go."

((I am such a good teacher.))

Shao walked over and looked at it.

"Very good...now..."

He opens one of the ramen packs and pours it in. It cooks quickly and the smells eminates into the air. Yun touches it and focuses his chakra. The water starts to boil madly. He puts a piece of paper to it and watches as the paper catch on fire and turn into pure carbon.

"Now, that water is around boiling at 295 degrees farenheit. Put the food in your mouth and your tongue will melt I want you to use your chakra to cool the water."

((Ugh, one of my other characters. Doing 3 rps at once. Lemme make the water hotter))

Erebus eyed the packets of ramen distrustfully. He didn't really like ramen, but would eat it if there wasn't anything else. But since he wasn't allowed to make anything at home until he got the water manipulation down...

Erebus looked down at the pot of water, planning the steps out in his head before he did anything. He gathered his chakra, and started on the process. Step one, he thought to himself, gathering his chakra in the water. Make the water mine, as malleable as my chakra. He started moving the water around in the pot, swirling it around as if he were stirring it with a ladle. Step two, bring up the heat. But how do I do that? He tried several things. Adding more chakra, taking some out, putting it under pressure. Finally, he remembered something he read in a book. I got it! Agitate the molecules and make them faster! He couldn't really explain how he did it, kind of a flick at all of the water, all at once. Whatever it was, it worked. Before too long, the water was bubbling lightly, letting steam off of the surface.

Okay, now to cool it down. This proved to be more difficult than warming it up. Erebus wondered why that was, but kept trying. Obviously, changing the amount of chakra didn't do anything. It probably had something to do with the water molecules again. Well, if agitating them made the water warm up, calming them down probably cools it In a kind of pulling motion, the water changed. The steam started to subside, the bubbles vanishing. Then, the sides of the pot began to get condensate on it. The water started letting off a cool vapor into the air now, feeling wonderful in contrast to the hot day on the beach.

Smiling, Erebus follows him to the Mizukage's Tower.

A single boulder held an exalted figure adorned in suprisingly simple clothes of combat. A black hakama revealed only pristine white socks and double pegged geta resting upon the sturdy rock. A simple black long-sleeve clung to a lean torso corded in distinct and toned muscles. A vest was worn over this, light blue and covered in steel fishnet stitching. As usual, a mane of silken black hair fell onto the sannin's shoulders. His pale skin only served to highlight radiant violet orbs that scanned the ocean with a harsh scrutiny hunting for faults. Tensai's handsome face was contorted into a frown around the shaft of the wooden pipe, a wreath of scented smoke enveloping his body.

A sheathed katana, crafted by a famed blacksmith and forged from the tusk of boars and the bones of wolves. Black feathers hung like tassels from the violet hilt of the sword, managing to draw attention to the inch of an obsidian black jutting from the sheath. A single naked hand rested on the sharkskin handle, expertly stroking the specialized grip reminescently. Though Tensai was the pinnacle of calm in these moments the intricacies of his mind were tested during a series of theoretic analysis centered around the mechanics behind chakra.

The sannin was a world class expert on chakra, his perfected control over the biological energy renown all across the ninja lands. He himself wrote several books over the processes that created and molded chakra but even he had no access to the full scope of information. His only true hope was a biopsy on a live Jinchurichii but for the past few years the sannin was not willing to draw the attention of five great nations onto himself...That is until multiple underworld rumors caught his attention. For awhile he would wait until the Mizukage was no longer sick but he would soon begin his search for a certain young child.

In a blinding display of physical prowess, iadou, and Bushido Tensai would be found exactly three feet away from a symmetrically bisected boulder. The full length of the obsidian blade was revealed to his misty world as an ocean breeze washed over his smoke weathed form. The edge of the katana was undamaged by the rigid boulder but the cut was amazingly smooth. After inspecting his weapon Tensai sheathed it and grasped its midsection in his left hand before admiring the spectacular view of the ocean under his conspiring hues.
