She had the at his throat before he'd be able to do anything about it. "Weapons Master. I love to use weapons and I'm quite the expert with short blades." Alkaid quickly threw the swords back into the sheathe. She finally finished eating and got up. She leaned back and stretched her back. She almost could touch her head to the ground she was so limber. She then came right back up. "So what are we gonna do now? I'm stuffed!"

Spitfire did not flinch from Alkaid's blade, a smile on his face. Had kami granted him the gift of a lifetime? The woman was beyond gorgeous, didn't think Suki was a total psycho, or did and just didn't want to be rude, had a great appetite, could stand the heat, and was deadly. Couldn't get any better there. "Let's head over to the..." His words died out as he directed the ladies out of the ramen house, as if he was going to pay. Then, a pot could be seen being tossed out of the ramen shop, and then Spit running out at full speed, looking like a red blur. Spit grabbed Alkaid's hand, and Suki's arm, practically lifting them up as he ran away from the scene, not having been able to pay.

 Cloaked Figure? | ? | ? As the cloaked figure walked through Konoha, the person took the time to take in the sights. Making notes of what's new and what's old. Noticing a few unreconizable buildings, the figure began to wonder just to what extent had the village changed withing the course of two years. 'Two years is a long time afterall...'
Arriving to an all too familiar Raman stand, a small smile made it way to the person's face as memories of enjoyable past experiences here resurfaced. Holding aside the facade with one hand, the figure entered and took a seat on one of the far stools. Not lifting the hood, the figure spoke in a clear monotone voice while telling the cook the order. "One miso soup ramen please." Once she ordered, the figure remain sitting still in her seat while debating over her next course of action.
'It would be wise of me to check in first before looking around. Afterall, I'm sure that by now, the council has already notified the town of my arrival.' "Here's you meal miss." Nodding her head in acknowledgement before uttering a quick thanks. Grabbing a pair of chopsticks, the figure began eating her meal.
Once done, the figure silently stood and left money on the table before leaving the establishment. Heading in thegeneral direction of the Hokage tower, the figure looked forward to meeting other people.

The wonderful smells from the ramen shop, had entered Murasaki's nostrils, as she smiled happily. She just hoped they had the Spicy chicken ramen with memba that she used to eat over in Kumo... She missed it's beautiful taste. She sat down, and looked up at the ramen shop owner. So this is Kohona's famous Ramen shop, huh? Murasaki looked as she put the picture-filled pieces of paper, and pulled two blank ones; one, to draw a portrait of the chef, and two; two draw the shop itself when she was finished. The Chef noticed this, as she finished the one of the chef, as he asked if he could keep it, as she smiled and nodded, though she wanted in return a bowl of ramen in return.... Well, let's put the it this way: Murasaki got free lunch and the sketch of the chef was now hanging on the wall, proudly.
You wouldnt, because there were none.

Murasaki yawned, as she finished her lunch, as the Chef was happily staring at his new portrait, as she just had to giggle at the look on the man's face: it almost looked as if he was in love with it or something. Anyways, she felt bad that she didnt technically pay the man, so she left three pastries and a soda by her ramen bowl, and waved goodbye, as she once again, wandered off into the very interesting, foreign village.

 Oniwa Kye| Satetsu | Speed/Combo | Otogakure | Kage ||| Shinobi Profession: Taijutsu Specialist || RPC Profile || Kye was quick to follow the Hokage out of the Academy, listening to her words, wondering if the Hokage was perhaps catching on to her during all this time. She had been somewhat careless in her display just now, but truthfully she hadn't revealed too much. Traveling on her own all the time made it quite clear to most that she was more then capable in her own combat skill, and the weapon she carried was only more proof of that. Not worrying too much about it, she simply followed the Hokage out into the streets with a grin, "I suppose that may be true, so I guess maybe we can compromise, and you can call me a Ninja-Diplomat if you like. Compromise is after all, one of my strong points."
Letting a out a small laugh, albeit a somewhat forced one, as she continued to walk through the streets of Konoha, listening to the Hokage as she held her arm behind her back and strolled along casually. "Well, to understand our Otokage, you must understand our history. Without going too much into it, we are a small village, freshly budding, and we've just now started to expand outward to the other nations. Otogakure ninja function differently then in a place like this... we don't wear our headbands in public and most of the time, you could pass by an operative on the streets, or know a Jounin for years and not know they were a ninja of the Otogakure. It is how we have protected ourselves for many years."
"The Otokage is truly a visionary. Under his guidance, the village has become stronger and we've increased our country's productivity and have been kept safe from outside interference. With this however, we have grown and knowledge of our village has grown as well. No one knows the details of course, and the Otokage prefers it this way, but the fact that they know at all is the concern. That is why he has dispatched me to the great nations. It is my job to speak to each of the 5 great Kages and make it known that we of the Otogakure mean no ill-will to anyone, and we wish only for peaceful relationships with all which will allow us to grow, prosper, and hopefully avoid war. Our land has been ravaged enough by it in the past. The Otokage however, wishes to continue living as he always has, in secret. Very few people know what he looks like... even I have not seen him many times. Most ninja of the village have never even had an audience with him, but the Otogakure has run this way for many years and we have prospered under his rule. "
Continuing to walk along, it appeared that they had finally arrived at Ichiraku ramen, a quaint looking little booth which seemed much smaller then Kye would have thought it had been for such a famous stop in Konoha. Taking a seat beside the Hokage, Kye then continued with her explanation..." That is why I refer to him as reclusive. We would welcome you to our country and our village to visit, but I cannot guarantee a meeting with our Otokage. That is simply his way. I hope you can understand this and that it would not be an obstacle forming a non-aggression pact with you."

 Tsubame ItsukiKonohagakure | Pin Point - Clan Head | HokageContinuing to lead the way towards Ichiraku ramen, Itsuki remained silent as she listened attentively to Elise's words and was truely astounded by them. 'They undoubtly live up to the title of "Hidden Village"; to be able to integrate themselves so easily with the rest of the citizens and still have almost no idea as to who might be a shinobi within their village - truely astounding.'
Smiling slightly at Elise's next words, Itsuki was whole heartedly impressed at how much a village was able to prosper under the guidence of only one man. And that man has most likely never even made one public appearence. Its truely astounding how much faith those citizens could put forth towards a man they haven't even met. 'I wonder if I would've been able to handle not knowing who it was that I was serving? But under those circumstances, I can somewhat see why the people are so loyal. He was able to bring them out of a war-ridden state and turn their village into a peaceful, well blooming village. Who wouldn't be devoted to such a man?'
Breaking momentarily away from her thoughts, Itsuki noticed that they've arrived at their destination and casually entered the small but comfortable raman booth. Taking a seat by the far stool to the left of the restaurant, Itsuki gave the owner a quick wave of her hand in greeting before returning her attention back to Elise who had started talking again.
Releasing a small sigh as Elise finished speaking, Itsuki reached for the tea that had been placed in front of them during Elise's explanation and took a small tenitive sip before placing it back down on the table with both hands still wrapped loosely around the cup. Choosing her next words carefully, Itsuki spoke in a soft tone of voice but within it was the strong resolve of a leader."Elise, I understand that your Kage has his own reasons to keep his identity a secret but you must know that it also troubles me that if I was to say yes, I will be making a deal with someone who I have never met face to face and will most likely never will based on what you've said."
Pausing momentarily to let her words take effect, Itsuki took another small sip of her tea before continuing. "I've truely found no faults in the way you presented yourself and your reasons for this pact. There is nothing there to stop me from saying yes but you must know that all agreements are built on at least a small foundation of trust and trust is something that works both ways. I feel that I can trust you Elise and I can tell you're really determined to make this non-agression pact work but I would really like to see some sort of evidence that your Kage is as into this as you are. It might be stubborn of me but to make me feel one hundred percent towards accepting this agreement, I would like to at least speak to your Kage personally once during the course of the treaty. I hope you do understand where I'm coming from Elise. Its just hard for me to agree to something that still holds several mysteries to it."
Flashing Elise a small smile, Itsuki took another sip of her tea and waited for Elise's response. Surely by now the diplomat must be getting tired of her constent insistent on seeing their Kage even though she had already constently provided her with the reason why. But to Itsuki, that reason just wasn't good enough to satisfy her. She just finds it hard to believe that a man who wishes to make peace with other nations would be unwilling to even show his face once to those he hopes to forge a tie with. 'How do I trust someone who I only heard of but never truely knew exsisted.'

Not all things could be handled by diplomats, and with good reason, many of the upper ranks wanted more then just what a diplomat could provide. naturally, it was a somewhat strange conversation to have, considering she herself was the Otokage, but it wasn't a situation she was unaccustomed to. Smiling back at Itsuki after listening to her case, Kye answered the Hokage in a positive and understanding tone.
"Very well then, I will arrange an audience with the Otokage to ease any doubts you may have. It is the sign of a good leader that you would want to see him for yourself, but I cannot guarantee you will be able to see his face personally. The Otokage normally veils his appearance behind a thin layer of cloth... a precautionary tool I assure you, but it will be the Otokage personally. Besides, who can tell, the Otokage can be whimsical at times when visiting dignitaries of your stature and rank, he may allow you to see his face after all." Taking a sip of the tea placed for her, she seemed to enjoy it and be relaxed by it, but it was a trained diplomat's response to sampling any food. Kye preferred stronger drinks, normally beyond the average tea served.
"If you plan to accompany back to the Rice Country, I would need to send word of your coming so the Otokage is aware of your visit. It shouldn't take long for the message to reach him however. if it suits you, we could leave as early as tonight... but obviously, you are a busy woman, with many things to do I am sure. An arrangement could be made for you simply to visit at another time. Please, choose whichever is most convenient to you."

Though it was not the perferred response she had hoped to get, a somewhat covered meeting was still better than none. 'Afterall, what else can I do. Having her promise to arrange something dispite what she said about her leader's personality can be considered a small achievement. Only problem, how do I know if that's the real deal?' Placing down the cup, Itsuki responded back in a rather pleased tone of voice." Alright then. I guess a partcially obstructed meeting will be better than none. And from what you said, I just might indeed be granted the chance to actually see the face of the infamous Otokage."
Pausing momentarily to consider her response to Elise's second statement, Itsuki knew that she had to consider wisely. She had just recently been instated as Kage so it would not be right of her to leave but if she accompanied Elise back to the Rice Country, she would get to see her abilities first hand, assuming they get attacked by bandits and such. That aside, accompaning back with Elise would also provide her an opportunity to hear what she had to say about her village - a personnal tour of sorts. 'From what she's told me thus far, Otogakure will very much differ from Konohagakure, it'll be nice to have someone accompany me around.' Placing her duty to her village first, Itsuki made up her mind and respectfully relayed her response to the diplomat. "As much as your offer appeals to me Elise, I will have to decline. You see, with me having just recently taken up the position of Hokage, it would do no one any good if I were to just take off. I'll be sure to send word to your village once I find an appropriate time where I am able to leave my village."
Waving the owner over, Itsuki ordered a simple beef ramen and turned to face Elise with a small smile, "Well, lets not prolong our dinner any longer, feel free to order whatever suits your taste Elise."

"Of course. I did not think you would be able to simply leave this village. However, perhaps at some point you could lead a mission for some young Genin towards the Otogakure at some point and the discussions could begin. The Otokage of course understands that such delicate matters are not determined in a day, and I can see your wisdom in not leaving your village so soon after coming into power." Really, all she wanted to do now was leave... but she figured that she would, in the name of diplomacy have to stay the night and draft that copy of the the terms she would propose. Diplomacy was tiring to Kye, but a necessary evil in her mind... one she had become very good at carrying out.
"I do however hope that the ways of our Otokage do not discourage or concern you. I know it sounds odd, that he is somewhat of a recluse and only allows obstructed meetings... but I assure you, he has his reasons. You will understand when you meet him what I mean, but it is not something I wish to divulge in person. Sufficed to say however, you will learn many things when you meet our illustrious leader, and I look forward to giving you a tour of our great country." Having not much else to say in the way of diplomacy any further, Kye figured she would pass the conversation over to Itsuki once again... "So, Itsuki-sama, tell me of yourself. What has led you to the path of becoming the leader of the great nation of Konoha?"

Taking another sip from her tea, Itsuki took a moment to consider her answer, feeling somewhat unsure of how much she should reveal to her diplomat companion. Keeping the cup in her hands, Itsuki spoke in a soft, reminiscing tone of voice. "What led me to my position as Kage eh? Well, for starters, if I'm to address you as Elise, then I think its only fair if you address me as Itsuki. I'll be blunt with you, I find no joy in being reconized as someone of higher standing when the only difference between me and those around me is a mere title. A title is nothing more than an invisiable chain that binds us all to a social hierarchy that can easily be corrupted. Everyone has the potential to be something more than what society says he or she is." Realising that she was getting off topic, Itsuki paused for a moment to regather her thoughts. 'My bad, seems I accidently let a bit too much of my true self show through. Wouldn't want people to start thinking that I resented the village's system of running things.'
Taking another sip of tea, Itsuki felt herself composed and ready to continue, "Sorry about that Elise, you'll have to excuse my rambling; I tend to forget myself when in the presence of good company." Turning her head a bit, Itsuki flashed Elise a quick smile before returning her gaze forward. "Konoha has not always been my home, when I was younger, much younger, I lived in a dojo just a few miles east of here. It was a family home that my great grandfather started in his early teens and now its grown into a successful school for the art of fencing." Pausing once more, Itsuki found herself also wondering just when it was that she started feeling such strong ties with a village that wasn't even her native home. As an unforgetful memory flashed through her head, Itsuki felt almost certain that it started sometime after that happened.
"I was only 11 when it happened, my family home was attacked and I lost both my parents that afternoon. It was one of my fathers' more trusted deciple that eventually found me and told me the outcome of the raid. After that, I just found it hard to stay there so my grandfather suggested enrolling me here in the academy. I stayed in my grandmother's old apartment and everyday I trained in order to get stronger. The rest of my academy, genin, and chunin days are pretty much a blur, I just knew that I was set on forgetting that incident and I wasn't someone who people could easily approach, I wouldn't let them but my instructor was a stubborn man with a big heart. So were the people around me, with much insistance and kindness showered upon me, I just cracked and the world just seemed different after that. I changed and I wanted to do my best for my village. I wanted to live up to its rich history and I hope to repaid the debt of my sensei and teamates. This village is important to me, its a home that I never though I would find comfort in and I want to protect all that this village represents - family, warmth, loyalty, and an unbreakable will. Any position would've suited me just fine, as long as I could do my part to help my village and it just so happened that after the disappearance of our last Kage, I was bestowed the title of Kage." Taking a long drink of her tea to smooth her somewhat dry throat, Itsuki placed it back down in front of her and refilled both her and Elise's cup. Just as she finished, the owner placed two bowls of freshly cooked ramen in front of the two kunochi.
