((I like it with a y))

Sylvia had already gotten off of the horse and had taken off her cloak, setting it on the ground like a pad, she then layed Elistral down. "Just get me some water, healing ointments, and a few towels and bandages." Sylvia had been alive long enough to know a lot of medical procedures. She would have to get to the area and bandage it and then just keep her comfortable. Not much else could be done besides that. She looked up at Fenrir. "Why are you still standing there? Go!"

((Also does Elistral have any armor on or just her normal attire?))

((No, not really...The cloth is kinda mithrilly-like, or some metal is infused with the clothes I guess. Something to that effect.))

"Oh, ah, of course!" Fenrir rushed off into the crowded tent, dodging around the bustling people inside. He distracted one so that he could take the small jar from the table. He returned and set down the supplies beside Silvia.

((Okay.))

"Thank you." Sylvia took the over shirt of mithril cloth mesh off and rolled the under shirt up enough to expose Elistral's stomach. It was already bruised deeply. Sylvia took some of the healing ointments and put it on her hands and began to rub as lightly as she could on Elistral's stomach. Once that was done she took the bandages and started to wrap it around Elistral's body until the area was completely covered. "There. This is about all that can be done." She wet a towel and folded it up, stringing out the water and brushing aside Elistral's hair. She placed it on her forehead and sat back on the ground.

Elistral shifted a little in place, barely conscious. She didn't want to pass out just yet. Her wings began to fade until they dissolved, freeing up the bit of energy that it'd taken to sustain them.

Fenrir sat down a little bit away from Sylvia and Elistral, crossing his legs on the scuffed ground. He wasn't of what to do now. Things had been set into motion and that was about all he could do at that point. He took out his watch and flipped it open to watch the second hand ticking slowly.

Gorash hadn't changed much, Rore thought quielty to himself. He kneeled down next to his friend and watched his calm face. Even with the years added on, he still looked largely the same.

"Do you know him?" Crow asked the man, earning a glare from a Protector.

Rore didn't say anything. "Yeah." He muttered. Turning away, he looked over at Jake, still amazingly holding the barrier up whilehe was unconscious.

Demios slashed at Reaper as Strider shot lightning. Time was almost non-existant on the top of the hill. All Demios could hear was the three of them fighting. Reaper had by now brought out a short blade of his own to defend himself from attacks. "Strider!"

Strider nodded and jumped towards Demios as he spun with his tail. Demios used his tail to launch Strider at Reaper. Strider flipped to his feet forward and kicked Reaper in the face, sending him flying wildly.

Reaper roled and leaped to his feet. He spat out some oil from his mouth. "Not bad. Two on one never was a really fair fight." Reaper got into another fighting position. "My turn." Reaper reared back with his fist and thrust forward, making a huge blast of air pummel towards Strider and Demios.

Strider was infront and was knocked backwards into Demios who used his sword to stop them both. "Man we have to be careful about that shockwave or we'll never get close to him." Strider jumpped to his feet and blasted at Reaper with his lightning.

Jake awoke to the sounds of fighting. "Ugh, what's happening?" Now the barrier fell as Jake sat up, rubbing his eyes.

Rore glanced around the immediate area, then up to the sky. "Well, the battle seems to be still going on. And the dragons that were above must've landed on the ground outside somewhere. Plus most of the fighters are being pushed out of the city." He related to Jake.

"And you caught me." Crow was rubbing his aching shoulder, his brid Ezekiel had landed on a bench nearby his master, staring at the Protectors. "Sounds like Gorash over there is muttering in his sleep too."

Rore jumped and leaned closer to Gorash. Sure enough he was mumbling about someone. "Who's George?"

"Him? He and Gorash looked like they got along. He must miss him."

Jake nodded. George was probably the best of those four. He may not even have wanted to do any of it. "Regardless, at least all the dragons are gone. Tell me Rore, where has Demios gone?"

Demios stood up and heaved in as much as he could. When he exhaled lightning shot from his mouth at Reaper.

Strider had been fighting Reaper closely but when Demios heaved he moved away. Reaper barely dodged the lightning. As he hit the ground Strider fired lightning as well, hitting Reaper in the leg.

"Agh! Damn fool!" Reaper punched sending a shockwave towards Strider. He hobbled backwards after hitting Strider and picked up on of his two guns and aimed it at Demios and fired.

Demios ducked around the giant piece of earth Reaper had thrown. "Strider, do something about that thing!" Demios flinched when a blullet hit the side of earth pile.

Strider darted forward dodging shots from Reaper who had shifted focus. He swung up as he came and cut the weapon in two.

"I don't know," Rore answered truthfully. "I was either fighting or in the healer's tent most of the time, so I can't say for sure. I thought I saw him and Elistral flying around earlier but why..." He shrugged.

"So..." Fenrir broke the silence. "What's next? I might go join the fight, but are you going to sit here the whole time?"

"Of course I am. I have no more reason to fight. I almost died, my daughter almost died, and now my husband may die. If i go out there and fight now i'd just be making things worse. You should know best. Our family has suffered enough. So i'll wait for him, just as I always have. Because that's all I can do anymore." A tear fell from Sylvia's face. She was trying so hard to keep it in but tears came regardless. "He fights and fights while all i can do is sit by and watch. If I try to help, I only get in his way. I feel so useless."

"Oh come on," Fenrir closed his watch and inched over to Sylvia, concerned. He patted her on the shoulder before giving her an awkward one armed hug. "Don't say that. Who's to say I know best? You have plenty of reason to fight, Sylvia. Your home, your friends, your family. And if not those, than for the very reason that you want to help." He paused, watching Sylvia cry, his yellow eyes searching her face for any sign on stopping. "There's always another way that you can help. Sabotage the back lines, provide a distraction for your husband. And hey, I've got a question for you: Have you ever ridden a wolf before?"

Sylvia rubbed away her tears. "Yes, it was common back during the great wars. Why?" Sylvia looked at Fenrir with curiousity.

"Hmm, I see. Good. Now I think it's time to end this pointless battle, the darkelves are all fleeing for their lives and all that's left are the demons and a few dragons. I'm heading to the front." Jake jumped to his feet and stalked off towards the front gate.

"Alright. I'll clear out whoever's left in here." Rore called over to him

"If you really want to do something for Strider," Fenrir glanced back in the direction of the hill and smiled. "...Well, maybe I can help you. Do you?"

Jake waved and then in a flash vanished. From where they were standing the guards could see a few explosions then another, and another, then another.

"Of course I do. But..." Sylvia looked at Elistral. "What about her? I can't just leave her here."

"Keep an eye on Crow while I'm gone." Rore instructed the two looking after the captive demon. Then he went off as well, yelling out more orders to the Protectors mopping up inside Salim.

"With the way her stomach is, we won't be able to take her with us. Unless she heals pretty damn quick, yet even for a demi-god you have to give it time," Fenrir gave Sylvia a sympathetic look. "Basically, someone needs to look after her if you're this concerned. She'll be fine near the healers if you trust them enough. But...figure it out quickly, nobody knows right now."

Sylvia thought for what seemed only a few seconds, to her it was like a life time. Then she stood up. "I'll do it. But where are we supposed to find a wolf like the old ones around here or at this time?" Sylvia gave Fenrir a very perplexed look.
