"I just sent my ride home, and he's probably passed out by now. Why did Gran have to send him today? She probably knew he was giving me rides. Great." she sighed and again pinched the bridge of her nose, she did that a lot. She was just gonna have to walk then.

Shaylene blinked in surprise and she just stood there, everything went into slow motion as she watched Laura stab a needle into her arm. Oh. She breathed, her hand wiping out from her clock and exposing one of the darts that had been in her pocket. She moved quickly as her vision started to cloud, and jamed the tip into laura's stomach.

V saw and his eyes widened. He grabbed Shaylene, after she'd already stabbed Laura.
"No." He smiled. "Not so bad." He still looked at his bike and grimanced. He'd miss it. He'd definitly have to get a new one, as sad as it mad him.

Laura stepped back from Red holding her stomach with one hand and the dart in another. It was empty the contents already in her. "Is this one of mine?" she smiled, her pupils a little dilated. "Do you think i would give you some thing i had didn't have an immunity to?" She started laughing. Even if she did have the right anti-bodies for it it was making her a little crazy. She looked at the vampire, "Don't worry she will be fine, but I'd be careful if I were you. What i gave her was something I dare not test on myself," she giggled. Dropping the dart she held a maniacal grin. "Any minute now her body should begin to try and force her into it's other form. If she can fight it, I say congrats. If not, then enjoy the rapid animal she becomes."

V scowled at the girl. She looked like she was 16, maybe. V supported Shaylene. "You're one twisted b***h." He spat.

Shaylene felt herself twitch and she gritted her teeth, her fingers locking arund the injection point that was now burning. How d-d-dare you! She stuttered, glaring as she felt her form begin trembling.

Bane smelt the air. "Red's changing. I'd stay out here if I were you." He knew he'd be able to stand up to her one on one but he was pretty sure everyone around him who couldn't hold there own against him would be SOL.

"It's okay, I have my own form of protection," Kaitlynn said and she grabbed her necklace with her whole hand. She started murmmering a spell and she felt the air around her tingle with magic.

Laura was already heading up the stairs. She knew that even if a tornado crashed into her secrete space that the room with the boy would be in tact so she had no worries. "Try not to kill Marcellus!" she called down with a smile and sat at the top of the stairs wishing she had a bag of pop corn to munch on as she observed what was going on. She supposed she have to settle for writing more things in her notebook later.

V held Shaylene up as her body shook. If she changed it would have to be in here, Night World couldn't risk her change in public. But his body shook from anger, it took his whole being not to collapse Laura's face in with his fist.

Bane just shoved at his hair, his body bristling with the tension and the smell of the change in the air. Where someone's fists might clench, Bane's nails grew dence and sharp. He'd trained his body to be able not to need to fully change. He stepped into the building listening, waiting.

"Kaitlynn saw the changes his body made, suttle but she could see them. She watched him walk into the building and slowly followed, if something bad happened, she was definatly going to be the first one out.
