Aryza couldn't move. His eyes had glared deep into hers. It felt like he was piercing through her soul. Taiju was a whole lot scarier then Yarotai! Her cub whimpered and ran behind her. His tail was in between his legs and his ears were down. She pet him in an attempt to comfort him but she was trying to keep herself from peeing her own pants. Ok maybe that was an exaggeration but Taiju had scared the hell out of her.
Slowly she got up from the ground. "So its the you don't give a damn option," she said. She spoke somewhat softly and her voice cracked a bit from fear. Would he grab her again for saying that? Kuroi also seemed to have recovered. When he threw the jerky at Kuroi he looked at it for a moment. Then slowly ate it.
She smirked a bit at his 'no trainee had gotten away from him' comment. She looked at it like a challenge and a dare. There was a first for everything but maybe she wouldn't do it now. It was smart not to. Maybe another day when she was a bit better with her ninja skills.
Silently she glanced up at him. Fear still showed in her eyes but she mustered up the guts to look at him in the face. As patiently as possible to waited for him to begin her training.

"Yep i don't really give a damm and that goes for you life as well. When you can get away from me you'll no longer be a trainee. In the mean time, i'm glad you have the guts to look me in the eyes after that. I may be starting to like you kid."
Taiju figured that he had definitly made an impression on the young girl. He demanded respect, and he would rather be feared as opposed to loved if it came down to it. Not that he had ever been loved before.
"Alright so you said something about the henge. If you want to train that i won't stop you, but your dog there should learn it too. Does he know the hand seals yet?"

".................I think thats what yarotai-sensei was teaching him before we ran off," she explained. Dammit I left to earlier and I forgot about Kuroi knowing the hand seals....
She looked at her cub then towards Taiju. "Dont tell me that I have to teach him all the signs too? I mean he doens't have hands he cant make them. Why would he need to know them?" Aryza didn't think that it was stupid question. After all she was 9 and hadn't yet grasped the concept of what being a shinobi meant. "Can he do the henge without knowing what the signs are? I can teach him those anytime at home."
Not knowing exactly what was going on Kuroi simply looked up at the two of them.

"No, he needs to know them, or at least know what they are. Come on now, are you the dumb member of the Inuzuka? You must have seen your relitives and their compainions perform jutsus. I expect that you should do the same. Come on now, teach your puppy."
Taiju knew he was being harsh on the girl, but that's how he was taught and it made him strong. She had come to him asking to be trained, and she would be trained. Or she would die trying and Taiju would have a fun time telling the Inuzuka clan that their precious little member had died trying to be a ninja through no fault of his own.

"...."
Aryza didn't really reply straight away towards his comment. She wasn't the most talented of Inuzuka's. Well she didn't suck but it took more effort for her to do certain things then her fellow clan members. As for the jutsu stuff, she hadn't really paid much attention. She should have though and she was beginning to regret it. From now on she promised to herself she would pay more attention to her surroundings. Right as if that would happen from one second to another.
Sitting down on the ground she pulled out the scroll and opened it up in front of Kuroi. The cub seeing the scroll now knew what she was doing. He walked over to her and looked at him. The Inuzuka girl gave Kuroi a few minutes to glance at the images a figure out what they were. Afterwards she folded up the symbols so only the picture of the animals would show. once she knew Kuroi was paying attention to her she made the Ox seal with her hands and waited for him to successfully point to the image it represented.

Kuroi looked up at the image she was making with her hands. It looked odd but yet familiar. He had seen it on the scroll but didn't remember what animal it represented. Glancing up at her for a moment her then looked down and placed his paw on one of the twelve images, the Boer. Once his small black paw was on it he glanced up at Aryza with what looked like a smile. Tail wagging and tongue sticking out.
The smile and tail wagging stopped when his owner sighed in response. That sigh meant one thing and one thing only. He had gotten it wrong. He tilted his head in disappointment, no treat now. That was for sure. As his head was down he glanced at the images. No matter how hard he tried to remember he just couldn't recall which animal that seal was. Feeling Aryza's small hand scratch behind his left ear he start to wag his tail again. He had made a mistake but she was telling him it was ok and to try again.
Aryza sighed seeing him fail. Apparently she wasn't as good at communicating with her cub as she thought. It was ok though. Trail and error were part of life. Instead of dwelling on them it was best to learn from it and move on with your life. Besides Taiju was there watching them and there was no way she was going to give 'Mister Giant' a reason to think of her as the dumb member of the Inuzuka. She would prove him wrong! She was fully aware that she wasn't dumb. She just lost concentration easily and didn't pay attention to certain things.
Noticing that Kuroi had become a bit sad with his failure she gently scratched him behind the ear, bringing his spirits back up with the simple gesture. Thinking for a moment she decided to try a different way of teaching him. Slowly and one by one she made each of the seals. After she made each seal she made sure to point at the animal it represented. She repeated this various times to give the black fur ball time to memorize it.
After she had gone through all twelve seals a couple of times she went to see how well Kuroi remembered them. She decided to go by random order to make it harder. If the cub knew she was going in the order of the pictures he could easily point at the image and not really know the seal. Slowly she made the Horse seal and waited for Kuroi to point to its image.

Aryza watched closely as Kuroi placed is paw down. Unfortunately on the wrong image again. The young cub was having a harder time with this then she thought he would. She felt like scolding him but when she looked down at him to do it she couldn't. How could she when his big green eyes were staring at her adorably. She hated herself for not being able to do so. Well if he failed a couple more times she would have no choice but to yell at him a bit. What ever was going in his mind was not what was supposed. Apparently she wasn't the only one that had problems with focusing on stuff for a long time. Shaking her said she told him that it wasn't the right image. "No," she said softly. "Remember Kuroi if you can't do it no treats!" She knew that the word treat would hopefully get him to focus on the task at hand. Even if it was for a brief moment.
He had failed once again. None of the pictures were sticking in his head long enough for him to remember. Of course Aryza had been unable to yell at him. It was very rare for her to do so. From the time they had meet, which wasn't very long, she had only yelled at him once. Even then you couldn't really call what she did yelling. He was too cute for her to get mad at so he didn't worry about her ever punishing him. Upon hearing the word 'treats' his ears shot up instantly. He knew what the word meant. Unlucky for him though he would only get it if he succeeded. A new found motivation ran through out his body. He needed to get this stuff right if he was to get food. Of course he usually did anything for a good treat.
With a concentration he had never had before he glanced, no more like glared at the images. He was going to get the image right this time. He would show Aryza taht he was a good puppy!

(( 13 -1 (handle animal ) = 12 success ))
Aryza let out a big smile as she saw Kuroi's small black paw go onto the right picture. Releasing the seal she scratched his stomach as a reward. The little cub wagged his tail happily. "You did the Rat with Yarotai and you just did the Horse with me," she spoke to him knowing that it was just like talking to a wall and he probably didn't care about the details. "Thats two down and ten to go!" She stopped scratching him and got back to making another seal. She made a mental note of the ones he had done successfully so she wouldn't repeat them. Looking at one of the images she decided to do the Snake seal. Slowly she formed it giving Kuroi time to think it over and figure it out.
I did it! The cub barked happily. He didn't quiet know why these seals and symbols were so important yet. He only knew that it was important to Aryza and that he would find out later.
When she went to scratch his stomach he rolled onto his back. It felt good. He made sure to enjoy every moment of it too. When she stopped spoiling him he got back onto his feet. As she formed the new seal he watched closely.

Kuroi scratched behind his ear with one of his back legs. This was a tough one. He couldn't seem to remember which on it was. He knew it wasn't the Horse nor the Rat because he had done them to another seal. There were a lot of other images to choose from two which made it even more difficult. He had a higher chance of randomly picking the wrong one. If he had been a human he would've shrugged just now but he wasn't so it was impossible to do so. Finally he made his decision. He placed his paw on the Hare. Looking up at Aryza she simply shook her head. Of course he had been the wrong one. Removing his paw off the image he began to see which one it was. Slowly he was beginning to remember. Hopefully his memories weren't playing tricks on him.

Aryza sighed. Apparently he wasn't remembering what the Snake was. She released the seal. There was no point in having him randomly guess. It was best to switch the seal she was doing. Chances were he knew what some of the other ones were. She get back to the snake one later. Smiling to herself she decided to see if he knew what the Dog seal was. Slowly she made the seal. He was a wolf after all. Maybe he would know this seal the best because it represented exactly what he was. Well he wasn't really a dog but dogs and wolfs were basically the same thing weren't they?
Kuroi frowned. At least it looked like a frown. Sometimes with dogs and wolfs it was hard to tell. he had failed once again. Of course he was going to. Unless he had been lucky which he hadn't been. Seeing that she was changing the seal he watched her. The one she was doing now looked familiar. What animal is that? I think I got it he let out a few barks. His tailed wagged as he thought about which animal it was. It was at the tip of his tongue. Once his master finished the seal he looked at the images and moved his paw ready to pounced on the right image.

Aryza nearly choked. Ha! He didn't even no what the Dog seal was! She found it kind of funny. She thought that him seeing the picture of the dog and then the seal he would've had bigger interest in it sense he was from the canine family. Well it just goes to say that you can't really read a puppies mind. She decided that she would give him one more try on getting the Dog seal right before moving on.
"Come on Kuroi focus," she said trying to get him to pay more attention to what he was doing. "You know perfectly well if you can't get this done you won't get a treat. I know you want one. How badly are you going to push yourself to get it?"
He had failed again. This wasn't easy. He should've paid more attention to when Aryza had been showing him what the seals were earlier. She was giving him another chance to guess what the seal was. He was going to get it right this time too! Especially after hearing the word treat again. No success. No treat. It was a simple concept to grasp. Tilting his head towards the ground he glanced at the ten remaining images. Slowly he moved his eyes from one animal to the other.

Aryza sighed out in frustration. This wasn't going so well as she had hoped. Kuroi was having difficulties getting the right image. She didn't glance once at Taiju. Something inside told her he was probably enjoying all her failed attempts. She glanced at her puppy.
"Come on Kuroi you can do better then that, can't you? Or do you not want the treat after all." After saying this Kuroi barked. He wanted the treat really really badly.
Come on. Let me try again. Please. Bark. Bark.
At least Kuroi wasn't giving up just yet. Smiling she switched to a different seal. She would return to the Dog later. lets try the dragon . Closing her eyes she made the seal and waited for the wolf to show her the right image.

Seeing the seal Kuroi's eyes grew wide. He remembered that one! I know that one I know that one! Certain he was right this time he confidently placed his paw on the picture of a dragon. He barked three times. Is it right? Is it? Did I do good? Aryza smiled and hugged him tightly. That was an obvious yes you did good. She was holding him a bit to tight though. His spine felt like it was going to snap.
Bark! Too tight!
After so many failed attempts she couldn't help but hug her black fur ball. He had finally done it! Well, there were still nine more to go but hopefully they wouldn't take as long. "See I told you you could do it!"
Hearing him bark she laughed a bit realizing she was squeezing him a bit too tight. "Sorry Kuroi," she apologized to the cub. Returning her attention back towards his training she went onto another seal. The Hare.

LV. 5 | Experience: 94/130 | Hp: 40/40 | Cp: 35/35 | MHp: 70/70 Kaede quietly approached the tall figure of Senju Taiju, a dark depression cloud aura trailing behind her. Her steps were lifeless, very zombie-like, and her eyes and nose red from all the crying she has done today. She probably looks like hell right now, but a dying girl can't be bothered to care anymore. Kaede didn't seem to notice the female student who was with him, or the dog that she trained with. If she was, the girl would have ran away, dogs had that weird habit of invading her bubble. And god was Kaede afraid of the big ones that could probably tackle her and bite her head off.
"T-taiju-thaaaaan..." the girl mumbled. She was so out of it, that the girl never realized that she finally addressed him by first name. "Wh-where'th Sniffle. Hy-hy-hyuuga-thaaaaan?"
She needs to go congratulate Hyuuga-san for graduating. Then, she needs to start giving away her belongings. A dead person won't need them. Now she has an idea of what to give Hyuuga-san as a congratulations gift.
"And d-d-d-do you like stuffed animalth?"
While Kaede does not own a teddy bear, she could probably give Taiju-san her kitty plushie. The one she always goes to bed with. Or perhaps the man would prefer alcohol instead, or maybe...

Oooo! I know that one the cub thought happily to himself. his tail wagged hard. Thats the white fluffy ball I chase around that garden with the big floppy ears! He glanced at the images. Passing by them one by one till finding the one he was looking for. The Hare. Placing his paw on it he looked up at Aryza whom gave him her approval. He was doing a good job a being a good puppy. He would get his treat soon enough! As he waited for her to make the other seal he noticed someone join the group. It was another girl. Curiosity began to stir in his mind. Usually he would've walked up to the newcomer and wag his tail at her but he needed to do the seal.
Yet another success. Things were starting to go fine! Kuroi was getting better. After indicating that he had succeeded she went into making another seal. She decided to try the Ox again. Slowly she made the seal and waited for hiim to place his paw on the picture. As she waited another girl came and began to speak with Taiju. She seemed like she would break down soon. Her eyes were red and puffy. Had seen been crying?
"Are you ok," Aryza asked softly. It really wasn't any of her business but the girl seemed to be having a hard day. Now that she thought about it she somewhat recognized the girl. She had seen her around before but they had never been properly introduced.
