Another gust of wind, another reply. "No harm done. After all, I missed yours first."
His leg slowly rolled off the beam he was sitting on and began to sway back and forth lazily, becoming idle of its own accord. the fingers of his right hand, which were folded into his left arm, began to move restlessly as though playing a tiny piano.

::Unks closed his eyes and nodded to what Keno had said. Unks lifted his glass of soda to his lips and took a large sip from it. He placed the glass back down on the bar top and opened his eyes once more::
"So how do you think you did my friend?"

Rising to her feet her joints responded with a resounding crack. Having forced them to remain in the same postion for such a long period of time it was no wonder she was stiff. Rubbing her arms she noticed a slight chill from remaining in even the sparse down pour. Shrugging she made her way to the edge of the tower and leapt off.
Ignoring the drag on her skin as she plummeted she closed her eyes as she descended. The heavy rustle of her clothing punctuated within her ears as she began to gather speed. Halfway down the tower she proceeded to thrust out her palm, the pale blue glow of mana appearing before her fingertips. Crystalizing before her a series of sheets of energy about 3 feet across began to form before her. As she plowed through each individual sheet, her descent slowed. Shifting her weight a few feet before the ground she flipped to her feet landing in a crouch.
Rubbing her ankles she stretched once more feeling a little more limber than prior to her descent.
Hmmm...My calculations on the drag differential were off...should have started earlier.
Shaking the shock out of her limbs she yawned making her way towards the Orion's double door entrance. Summoning forth her staff, she jabbed the heavy doors open stepping into the main corridor.

"If I had to judge myself," he began carefully. "I would have to acknowledge that in terms of battle experience and tactics, I had the upper hand. There wasn't much that surprised me about the battle and very little I couldn't avoid had I wanted to. Most of my hits were strategic in terms of figuring my next best move. That is always worth noting, however, a hit is a hit, for which I would take points from myself."
He was silent for a moment as he reflected on the first round. It was truly a great match to be held. He didn't envy anyone else as far as who they got as an opponent. "At the same time, there was a clear disadvantage in terms of dealing damge. The amount of energy I allowed Pro to take would have been enough to keep him healed for the entirety of the battle had he channeled it correctly. I suppose I should be grateful for that. At the same time, it's not like I didn't pull punches. Had I gone all out from the beginning I probably could have forced a ring out or knocked him out cold with a well placed striked to the temple."
He sighed as he thought more and more about the fight. "I didn't utilize my resources as best I could. But then again, both of us were guilty of that. I think I had more of the surprise element though with my willingness to put all my cards on the table. Overall, let's just say I'm glad I don't have to judge."

::Laughing lightly Unks looked shook his head and took in everything Keno was saying about his own match. If only he too had planned his moves ahead of time maybe the outcome would of ben different for his match.
He heard the doors of the club open and he looked over and saw his wife entering the club. She was a little damp from the light rain and he smiled. He didn't say anything yet, he was still moving things in his head about his own match::

Over hearing the latter portion of their discussion, she smirked making note that they were talking about the tournament. Truthfully this was to be expected as it was the biggest event in the Orion save for the whole ordeal with Fierce. Draping her staff across her shoulder she headed towards the bar area smiling in the direction of her husband. Propping her staff against the counter she settled atop a bar stool letting them continue their discussion while she decided on a drink for herself.

"Perhaps I speak too much," came his voice yet again. He sounded a bit spaced out, having finally adapted to maintaining this converstaion without the sacrifice of his own thought. "What of you and yours. It is unfortunate the you didn't win. What do you think went wrong? Afternoon Epithany. You seem...wet."

"Ya know Keno, I honestly couldn't tell ya. I mean I know the start of my match wasn't the greatest, but the end was great. It was close for both Kaden and myself."
::Unks let out a soft sigh and looked to his wife who was now sitting next to him. He leaned over on his stool and kissed her on the cheek before picking up his soda and taking another sip from it::

Utilizing a modified form of her displacement technique she smirked speaking directly to Keno as if she was right next to him.
"Indeed...I suppose I could have prevented that, but we all have our bouts with laziness."
Grabbing ahold of Unk's soda as he set it down she took a sip of it herself. Blinking at Unks she decided to enter the conversation.
"Truthfully I believe the reason they decided in Kaden's favor was by way of creativity of technique usage. Damage wise I would have say you were neck and neck. Though notably you did have some impressive maneuvers."

"Ah yes. Creativity..." Keno was a fan of creative battle. It would be boring if everyone went for the easy punch or kick all the time.
"I dunno though. I favor practicality on an equal scale if not slightly more than. Almost everyone here at Orion can perform a move spectacularly, but if it could be done without all the dramatization of theatre and still work, I'd still applaud. Now if you were speaking in terms of creative application, I would agree beyind a shadow of a doubt."

"I guess your right. I could of been more creative, but it is too late now."
::He watched as Pith took his glass of soda and took a sip from it. He smiled and filled the glass with the rest of the bottles contents. He then took another sip from it and sigh slightly. He looked over at her and smiled she was as lazy as he was it seemed today::
