When Felix had been sent sprawling, so had his pack, scattering the contents. Gigi raced after her precious round things, basically ignoring the battling going on around her, even when it went dark. She managed to catch her pretty little egg, her yellow balls, all the shiny disks, almost everything in fact, except for several pokeballs. One of the pokeballs rolled off of the edge of the boat, but the others simply disappeared from her sight, and so she resolved to go and get them after she had placed her already rescued items away.
A treecko that was rather large for his age had decided to take a swim earlier in the day, and he had been having a wonderful time, until the water around him had started roiling as a horde of water pokemon converged upon a boat. THis treecko had always been a rather curious fellow, so he wasn't able to resist the urge to swim closer to the boat to find out what was going on. Which is how he found himself climbing up the hull of the ship when he spotted a small red and white ball coming towards him. The gecko pokemon snatched the ball out of the air just before it hit him on the head, and he regarded it curiously for s moment before he resumed his climb up the side of the boat. His foot caught on the railing as he attempted to pull himself over, and in an effort to stop himself from hitting the deck face first he tried to cover his head, accidently hitting himself with the pokeball he held in his hand. He was drawn inside without a noise, and he was caught without a struggle.
Gigi blinked as she suddenly found the pokeball that had fallen off of the side of the boat rolling towards her, but she decided not question fate, and simply deposited the pokeball into Felix's bag, before heading out to find the other ones.
Those three pokeballs had been found by a small group of stowaways when they suddenly found themselves being drawn into the balls, after said balls had landed on their heads.
Gigi spotted the pokeballs in short order, and she started gathering them up, and she was surprised into letting out a loud hiss when one of the balls disappeared in a flash of red light when she touched it. She glared at the spot it had been. What in the world was up with that? The meowth glared at the spot for another moment before she noticed a stone that made her forget about the whole incident. She scooped up the interesting looking thing and carried it back with her.
"I'm fine... Did you just call me babe?" he asked, with a touch of amusement. He hadn't been called that before. Felix took a sidelong glance at the water, and then pulled Vhan after him as he made a beeline away from the railing, heading closer to the middle of the ship.

Brayden was still trying to clear his lungs a bit before Vhan cleared the Smokescreen. Finally seeing clearly, he looked about, seeing that the other battles were pretty much wrapped up. Looked like they did a good patrol duty, if he had to say so himself. Brayden looked around, finally spotting Caliga, who seemed to be playing with an egg of some sort. Recalling the one he had found at the riverbank, Brayden peered in his bag, but saw no sign of it. Figuring that Caliga had recovered it, Brayden turned his attention back to his friends.
Caliga, in fact, didn't find an egg, but a Togepi, rolling about on the deck. Normally she wouldn't have given a second thought to the tumbling egg, but it just so happened that the Togepi let off a really convincing Charm. That set Cali tumbling along after the egg-Pokemon, rescuing it before it rolled overboard.
Although currently she was using the Togepi more as a plaything, rolling it about the deck as she gave chase. Not that the baby pokemon minded in the least. It merely trilled, laughing happily as it was rolled about.
Brayden caught Vhan's comment about them nearing Iron Island. He made his way a bit closer to the railing, getting a clearer view of the waters. He didn't spot it at first, but yes, there was Iron Mountain rising up above the water's surface. Brayden nodded, "Yeah, that's it," he confirmed.
It was at Kaya's comment that Brayden's attention was drawn back to Vhan and Felix.
'Ya know boss? You could probably try that on Kaya...'

Felix glanced down when he felt the sudden grip around his waist, and he couldn't resist the grin that came to his face. "Trying to cope a feel?" he teased the other boy, and almost as if it had a mind of it's own, the tip of his tail uncurled, and tapped the other boy on the cheek.
Felix's only response to Kaya teasing was this: His grin widened, and one eyebrow arched. "I dare him to try anything." he said challengingly, his green and brown eyes both sparkling with mischief.

"N-no!" Vhan declared in his defense, blushing deep crimson as he let go of Felix. "I-I was just...just trying n-not to f-fall." he stammered out , trying to hide the color that was quickly rising in his cheeks. He pulled his scarf up far enough to hang on the bridge of his nose, hiding most of his face for the most part.
At the older male's dare, his blush grew brighter and he shook his head rapidly in defiance. "No, no, no!" he cried in a semi anguished voice. "It's not like that!" he tried to argue, though his body language told otherwise, one foot coming up to itch the back of his calfas he held one of his elbows with his other arm behind his back.

Felix stared down at Vhan, blinking with surprise, and a faint blush could be seen across his own cheeks. He'd never had that reaction on somebody else after a simple kiss on the cheek. He deliberated a moment, hand on hip, before he crouched down next to the younger boy, his tail waving gently through the air. "I'll have to train you out of that."
Gigi couldn't stop snickering from her precarious perch atop her egg. She did stop, however, when a sudden jerk from beneath her toppled her off of her perch. She scampered to her feet, and spun around, staring at the egg. It rocked again, and she heard a small cracking sound. "It's hatching!" she exclaimed.

When he heard Felix's comment, the first thing that jumped into his mind was a picture of himself, shirtless wearing a collar and chains. "Dear God!" he whispered to himself as tried to force that image away for now. He didn't want it gone forever, but now wasn't the time to be fueling the fire.
He slowly raised himself up, his hands behind him on the deck. It raised his face up next to Felix's own and even though he was still blushing furiously he grinned at him. "That...that sounds f-fun." he whispered to him as he went to get up, trying to keep himself turned away from the other three. He didn't think they'd want to see a tennage boy after he'd lost control of himself.

"You might want to work on that hair trigger of his, Kid." Kaya told Felix as he looked out over the railing towards the Island in the distance. "We're almost there..." he told Brayden, throwing his arm over his lover's shoulders.
He couldn't help but rest his head softly on Brayden's shoulder. It just felt comfortable like that.

Felix started grinning again, and moved to stand up, when Gigi slammed into his leg. He caught himself with one hand braced on the deck, and glared back at the young meowth.
"It's hatching, it's hatching!" she told him, adn then clamped her mouth onto his free hand. "Cmff" she said, mouth full of hand, and tugged towards the rapidly rocking egg.
Felix stood up, Gigi wrapping her limbs around his arm to try and prevent him from escaping, biting down harder on his hand. "Stop it." he snapped, and then walked over towards the egg, seeing as that was the only thing that made her stop biting so hard.
He finally succeeded in prying her off, dropping her unceremoniously onto the deck, peeling off his glove to appraise the damage. Gigi had left a row of small punctures on the top and palm of his hand which were bleeding sluggishly. He glared at her, and she just looked innocently back up at him, and licked a speck of blood off of her lip.
"It's hatching." she told him again, just as a small fist burst through the shell of the egg. A few seconds later, the head of a riolu popped out of the egg. "Riii..." it said, yawning, and then pulled itself the rest of the way out of the egg, and then curled up against Gigi. "It likes me!" she exclaimed, and started purring.

Felix blinked down at the younger boy. It felt... strange to have someone worry about him over such a minor wound. Back at headqaurters, if he became a pokemon's chew toy, now something to be concerned about. Even when he'd broken his arm all those years ago they had considered it merely an irritation, not somethng to worry over.
As the punctures healed he realized that he had never even thought of trying to use a potion on himself, he'd been taught to just muscle through pain...
