Europa

As Valhalla grabbed Ganymede, Europa took a quick step away from the both of them, lest she be bowled completely over by the movement of the princess's skirts, and very nearly tripped over Gevaudan in the process. That said, it was probably for the better that he'd shut her up - her mouth had a history of getting their entire contingent into trouble.

Even if she had to admire for that.

"Everyone was thinking it," she said lowly, leaning back towards the princess, "but Val's right. Not the right time, Gany."

Inari nodded and offered a small smile of greeting to the other senshi whom Lacrimosa seemed to know. "I'm Inari." After all, names sometimes helped. Which made her think of something.

After she was sure the stranger in the cloak had finished speaking for the moment, Inari stepped forward slightly, legs trembling. "What should we call you? And....where is your home?" Her head tilted to the side slightly. A small smile lit her face slightly, deciding that if Lacrimosa wasn't going to be on offense with him, neither was she. "I....might be new here, and not of much significance, but I'd like to help if I can. My name is Sailor Inari." She hadn't thought she heard anyone else giving him an introduction or even asking his name. And that was only proper wasn't it? She looked over her shoulder and gave her pink-clad friend and her other ward a small, almost timid smile. Something that was a little out of place on the normally bold girl.

Someone was shouting, or maybe not shouting, but it grabbed his attention when he heard something about striped pants. Turning his attention the one calling to...him? He gave a rather questioning look to the figure wearing what looked like a ballgown of sorts. Why were they so upset with him? If it was him they were upset with, though he was fairly certain they were talking, or yelling, at him.

Looking to Erebus, who was at his side, he took hold of the others shirt sleeve and pulled him toward the figure who had been addressing him. As he made his approach he noted the figure seemed to have a rather large group around her. "Why she upset?" He asked looking to Erebus, wondering over it. "He is old, he should have respect...he does not belong here...from elsewhere." He said and Erebus knowing that Venice was new should understand the sympathy in his voice and the look in his dark eyes.

As he made his way toward the royal he did cast a look back to the figure in the cloak. He hoped they understood his rudeness in leaving them and going over to the blond and her group.

Hvergelmir, at the front with Teide, Iduna, and Castor

Hvergelmir offered a smile to the chibi senshi that Castor was very obviously trying to fob off on her. "You can stand right here," she said, indicating the space between herself and Teide. She didn't want any buffers between herself and the Prince of Hail just then. "We're glad for the company."

Then again... Prince Castor might not be the one they needed to worry most about, apparently. Princess Ganymede appeared to be doing a fairly good job of causing a potential diplomatic mess, in fact.

Babylon, she keyed a reply to the other knight. Definitely talk later. Hvergelmir.

She raised her voice and sharpened her diction a bit to address the hooded figure.

"This conflict was brought to our doorstep -- for those of us assembled here, no one has ever claimed to have made the first act of aggression against the Negaverse in this lifetime. That's why we have no elected leaders -- this is a circumstance we were never prepared or trained for. Most of us have had hard lessons in learning to adapt to the world we're given."

She took a breath. Kept her gaze focused forward. "Many people here have had little practice at diplomacy. We meet very few beings unlike what we've already encountered -- and some of us have experienced the costs that can come of hesitation or indecision at the wrong moment. It's a hard balance to strike. But most of us are not here in force because we mean to threaten a stranger -- we're only anxious to understand something that feels so profoundly out of the ordinary, for us.

"But please -- there's no hurry here. Speak your piece in your own time. If you can offer us some aid, we look forward to hearing who you are and what it is that you seek."

Castor Page Aptera

If she was being completely honest, much of what was being said was going over her head. However, she was grateful for what information she did manage to catch and at least somewhat comprehend to some extent.

So, there is a fight going on, or no, more precisely: there is some kind of magical war that's going on and has been going on for a tremendous amount of years if she was understanding with some correctness. One side is called the negaverse.

And then Prince Castor spoke and she kept her amazement under wraps as to why when he did speak, she seemed to find herself pulled into listening with careful attention. Was this because as one of his knights from the far reaching past, she was now subconsciously repeating a habit of listening to his majesty at least somewhat attentively? Was this magical being business about being possessed by ghosts or something along those lines? She allowed her gaze to travel to him as he spoke and observe him at the same time, such as how he looked toward individuals in the gathering, his reactions, and on and on. But in finding herself observing the prince who somehow felt both familiar and unfamiliar to the present her at the same time, she proceeded to carefully continue to strive for the maintenance of a steady bearing that gave as little as away of her thoughts in as much as she could help it. For the most part she stayed still while silently observing, any movement by her she limited to slight angling of herself with the turn of her head here and there and the calculated sweeping shifts of her gaze.

As Prince Castor addressed Iduna, she almost smiled. She resisted the pull of her lips and said smile had only tugged in the expression of the shape of her eyes as she witnessed their exchange as well. Suddenly Aptera found herself remembering the child she had endeavored to save from falling shards of glass earlier that day. And she knew that because that was also when she turned into her own magical mystery, she would always remember what happened then.

But Aptera made sure to pull her thoughts quickly back to the present as her shifting gaze made its way to the cloaked figure in that moment of reminder.

What she gathered from Prince Castor's words included there being another side fighting in this war called white moon. And apparently like Prince Castor there were a number of others who fought for their own beliefs and with different alliances. Thus, Aptera wondered how would be the path she travels as this transformed existence unfurl in all this. The decisions there were to make ahead, she was still unsure what to make of them yet. However, this was after all only hours into the start of her part in this reality, right? And yet, time could fly, and she tensed momentarily as though bracing herself in the face of all the challenges she may encounter that she could feel becoming gradually but surely less uncertain even a very little bit at a time.

Why was this all happening to her? Was this all really happening? And yet she disregarded the questions that flashed through her thoughts upon acknowledging their appearance, thinking next that both these questions do not really matter so much now that this was all rather clearly happening and she somehow came to be present.

Surprises were inevitable though and thankfully she had kept her jaw from dropping on a notable amount of occasions throughout this whole event. There were other planets to live on aside from Earth? Had she, or rather, Aptera lived and served as a knight on another planet? And so could she be categorized as an alien? There are ghost in other planets that somehow came to possess their hosts on Earth, because if this was not the case then how was this all possible? There was really so much to take in.

She caught the pendant at her neck in one hand again in a tacit reminder to herself to remain calm. And as she returned her hand to her side and moved her gaze again to the cloaked figure, she listened curiously as to what sort of trade might be in store to be made tonight.

Erebus, Page of Saturn

Erebus had looked around when someone said something about stripped pants as well and had just caught sight of the Princess when Venice started to tug him over to the group. "Probably she is being cautious, he is new after all and she probably has a lot more experience under her belt." He said and switched Venice's hold from his shirt to just holding his hand since it was easier.

"He should have respect yes. I don't know what others have experience though so they could also be right in pushing for cation for all I know." He did indeed understand where Venice was coming from and he sympathized with the stranger himself for that. At the same time though he still could fully understand why caution would be prudent until a few more questions were answered at least.

Niflhel and Snowball had followed Polaris Though Niflhel was slower paced. Lagged behind talking to the Cat about the strangeness in the Energy Signature. Neither of them were thrilled about it. However the Saturn knight still followed unsure what it was but the pull of the unknown and Polaris' curiosity helped fuel his wonderment of this new signature.

He was standing beside his wife attempting to look fairly unconcerned. Considering the city's track record with new . . . stuff showing up. He wasn't completely sure how to treat this one. "So what do you think?" He finally asked when he was close enough to Polaris.

Snowball's tail swished as he sat upon Niflhel's shoulder for the ride. He was looking at the stranger in the mysterious cloak with ears perked and a clear curious expression on his face, he didn't even bother like Niflhel to mask it. "Ohhh do you think we get to do something fun?" He asked looking towards Niflhel and Polaris both. "He totally looks like some guy that knows how to have fun."

Hugbell had taken a small break as far as Patrolling the city went to focus on her homeworld a little and do some clean up and studying of the crystals that lived there. She'd also attended Polaris' wedding when she'd seen the invite. However, the transcendent teen hadn't expected to be drawn to this odd fellow before her run to her Homeworld. It was there the brightly clad senshi stood looking slightly worried as she tried to figure out what was different about his aura.

She'd been late to the party this was certainly not something easily missed with all the order folks around and that aura her skin prickled a little but she couldn't tell it was from the cold, her excitement or what precisely the problem was . . . . She decided to wait to see if she could pick up on what she'd missed of the current meeting though she had questions that surely had been answered at least once already. Barnaby was sitting on her shoulder as just a stuffed bear for the time being.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

Halley wasn't sure what was going on as she reached the group and she looked around confused, honestly she'd not been doing much in her senshi duties. She wished she knew more people. The Sailor of superstition though had slide up near the mysterious stranger. Looking him over, curiously she was trying to figure out who or what he was. Without being . . . too intrusive, really if she reached over and poked him . . .no that would be rude. Instead she just stared at him with wide blue eyes. For being seventeen she really was acting like a curious child.

The Space Cauldron
For Halley just kind of inserting herself as close to him as possible and staring at him like ouo!?.

Ananke Senshi of Portals

Ananke looked around her red to orange hair moving around with her. There where so many people here. "Um... I don't..." She laced her fingers together as she had no clue what was going on and thought maybe someone as inexperienced as her shouldn't belong with people that seemed important. Of course as she went to move backwards to try and leave she tripped and was about to topple backwards.

Celsus Knight of Chronos

He lapsed into an uneasy silence, his gaze flickering from the figure to the rest that had gathered, eyes moving from face to face in rapidfire motion. Celsus took a deep, shuddering breath that rasped in his throat, trying to remain calm, though he hardly felt it.

Why am I here?

He couldn't answer that question and wasn't even sure that he wanted to, because it was the same question that Celsus had asked himself for the past several months. It almost felt rhetorical now, as he swayed unsteadily on his feet, surrounded by a variety of familiar and unfamiliar faces, Celsus trying to suppress the desire to turn and flee.

"It would be easier," he said at last, voice shaking ever so slightly, a barely discernible tremor. "to know what it is you want if you let us know a bit more about yourself. It's not so easy to trust someone we've only just met, and it should be the same for you as well. No true balance or partnership can be achieved in blindness."

He had no idea if what he was saying made any sense at all anymore, Celsus pressing fingers to his throbbing temple, but he remained, at least, vertical for now.

Harmonia // Senshi of Harmony

There were so many opinions being thrown around. So many words. Some were full of hate, other hostility, and a few were doing their best to speak reason. Harmonia was doing her best to keep up with it all but it was hard when one didn’t know the names of each individual talking. Sure she could pick out the royals, their aura’s made it easy enough to indentify them if not their clothes and wings but everyone else were just faces and broken into categories of Knights or Senshi. Not all that helpful to the young senshi.

Stepping forward a bit, Harmonia let her own voice be heard for the first time, if it was a bit shaky. “So many are being forceful for answers. He hasn’t hurt any of us. If what he wants is to go home then I don’t see why we need to be asking so many questions of him.” Her eyes focused on the man. “I don’t see why we can’t take care of getting you back to wherever it is you come from peacefully. What happened was in the past. Besides, not everyone associated with the Negaverse is all bad.”

She thought of one specific person who had, as much as possible, distanced himself from the pull of Chaos. She may be a bit confused about the whole war as a whole yet, but she knew not everyone in the Negaverse could fall into the category of bad.

Sailor Chara of Chocolate

As the man spoke, and this other red haired dude touched his shoulder, essentially telling him to 'chill', Chara kinda just felt an off switch hit and he grew silent. Not that the woman's words actually hit a nerve or anything, he just kinda let the reality of the situation sink in a little bit more. Something was strong enough to pull him into this. Something was able to see them gathered into one place.. And that was scary.

He kinda.. Sorta slightly wanted to follow the red headed people in that group, the older ones. They seemed like they knew what they were going, but like hell he was going to stay near that lecturer of a person. Instead, he chose to stand where he was, looking onwards into the crowd. He wanted to know what was going on, but he STILL didn't want to push through all of them.

Sailor Fornax of Dough

"Ultimate battle, huh? A boss fight? Well then, we'd need a log drawn out speech from the bad guy first, wouldn't we? But this poor fella looks like he's not going to be able to get more than a single word out." Fornax allowed himself to chuckle and looked over to the... Supposed man and smiled, even if he could not see. That was okay, time would tell.

"Sounds intense.. I wonder if us, the Order people.. Were we really losing this fight that badly?"

Princess Polaris

Her smile grew just a little more when the knight jumped, shifting to something vaguely apologetic (but still at least just a little amused) as he regained his composure. And then tried to turn on the charm.

"I'm doing well, just trying to figure out what's going on and keep an eye on things. It's amazing how many people are here hmm?" She responded conversationally, thinking the young page seemed awfully polite, which was always a wonderful trait.

The relaxed stance that had fallen over her in her moment of amusement straightened suddenly as her phone buzzed and it was her turn to jump a little. The phone appeared, glanced at quickly before she quickly tapped a message back.

A response that, even if he could not read, would hopefully confirm to him that his message had atleast been received.

To Castor
Keeping an eye out, I've got your back.

I can seperate everyone with my crystal if the need arises.

"Sorry about my rudeness, it was a very important message." She piped up apologetically as the phone disappeared once more, her attention on Stonehenge even as her periphreal settled on the Prince of hail.

"Could I be so presumptious to ask your name?"

It was about that time that a familiar voice sounded beside her, and she cast a quick glance and smile to her husband. "I'm not sure, but Castor seems concerned. I guess we'll just have to be cautious."

She might have silently been a little thrilled that Niflhel and Snowball hadn't mentioned her name, still seemingly surprised on the silly notion of surprising the page before her.

Eternal Sailor Lenka

Lenka’s eyes sparkled at the very chance for an attack on the Negaverse. Trap or no trap, she wanted to cause as much harm to them as was possible. She glanced around, seeming slightly surprised at all of the senshi and knights who had shown up. She hadn’t really realized there was this many…there were a lot, she knew…but this many…

She saw some faces she knew…and the amount of chibis…it was kind of wonderful. She wanted to meet them all, to help them…one of them looked afraid of everything, hiding behind all of the older senshi, she wasn’t quite sure how she felt about that…chibi senshi shouldn’t be cowering, not unless they were really, really young or something…even then, they should be at least treated with the same respect as a normal senshi. They were the future. They were all the future.

There was one girl, a princess, said the figure…who looked familiar, and when she realized just who it was, anger coursed through her. It was that damn glowing girl she had yelled at before. How dare she treat this stranger with such disrespect. Couldn’t she see that he wasn’t chaotic? That made all of the difference to her…though one thing he said stood out to her, and did make her at least a little uneasy.

“So, excuse me for asking, but why were you trying to make an alliance with Beryl in the first place? Didn’t you think that was going to be a bad idea? I want to help you, I really do…but I don’t understand why you would let yourself become an ally with someone so awful.”

Sailor Sabine, Senshi of Tactics

Sabine too had grown silent as the throng had enlarged. She was grateful to a degree to see Havasu, though his lack of... tact... and sense at that moment put her off a bit. Not to mention she was never really comfortable around him and Phact when they got all... lovey... like that. She did her best to not focus on the feelings they made her feel - envy, mostly - a bit of jealously in regards to not having Phact's full attention but the girl had learned that she was not the center of Phact's world and that was okay.

She had enough self-awareness to know she was a spoiled brat sometimes.

That said, as the group grew bigger and bigger around Phact the more and more quiet she got.

Her attention was now fully focused on the cloaked figure, and his offer... Intrigued her. A way to strike at the heart of the Negaverse? It was a huge tactical advantage - one that should not be wasted. As much as Sabine wanted peace - sometimes you had to hobble your foe to make peace, this provided such a chance.

She refrained from speaking however, hearing several voices voice the concern that she would have voiced.

Just exactly what was this task that the cloaked man wanted them to perform.

She shot a small glance at Phact, wondering if she thought this was advantageous or not, but otherwise did nothing.

Cuán Oileán, Guardian Cat
Sailor Chariklo, Eternal Senshi of Seagulls
Xibalba, Page of Mars

From where she sat perched upon her senshi's shoulder, Cuán Oileán listened and watched with unblinking eyes. Nodding slowly as the hooded figure spoke, she found herself agreeing with the caution and diplomacy known by the two knights that Chariklo trusted the most. And now, having seen their cleverness firsthand, she approved of that trust.

Still, somethings didn't quite make sense to her. Not yet.

"Your pardon, sir," she called out in a clear voice, stretching herself up so as to be sure she was visible. Both fore paws now rested on the top of Chariklo's head as the small lykoi inserted herself politely into the discussion. "If I may be so bold, if you hate Beryl so much, why were you signing a treaty with her? It makes very little sense to me to trust an enemy enough to warrant a treaty. Clearly something went wrong."

Cuán knew very little about the wars of the past, only that they had happened and that the devastation they had caused had left Earth as the only planet capable to supporting life on a grand scale. Just who was this person that Beryl would have signed a treaty with him?

-----------------------------------------

Groaning a little as Cuán Oileán made her presence known, Chariklo simply bore with the paws on her head and the tail tip that was curling up to lightly brush against her ear. Sure, the stranger's speech was interesting enough, but at the moment, the tall eternal cared very little about taking part in a history lesson. Particularly when the lesson was taking second stage to the usual famous Order meeting antics. Glaring at the assembled Royals, she found herself thinking with wistful longing of the way Remarque and even Leto had been able to take command and keep a sort of order.

Granted, not enough wistfulness to make her regret purifying, but she did miss having orderly meetings that weren't simply an excuse to shout.

When the figure said that they could all leave if they wished, she very nearly turned on her heel and left right then. Except he had also promised them a means of fighting back at the Negaverse. That was more than enough to make her willing to stay.

"And what," she asked, her voice sounding harsh, ragged with worry, "would you ask of us for the chance to have that strike? I made a promise once to someone that I'd tear the Rift down with my own hands if I had to. If you've a way of accomplishing that, I'd love to hear it."

--------------------------------

For his part, Xibalba wondered if every side played it's own blame game. The anger in the stranger's voice made an interesting contrast to the page's memory of the Code speaking out so passionately at Olympus. The Code hadn't sounded angry though. Not like this.

And neither voice had the raw, hate-filled quality that he could hear lacing through the voice of the senshi at his side. Even Cuán looked slightly taken aback.

"Ah, a question f'r ye," he called out, deciding that now was as good a time as any to try for some information of his own. "Y'say this is all Beryl's fault, aye? D'ye mean you're own imprisonment or this whole war? I'm only askin' as some of us heard recently that this Beryl o'yours was the victim in this whole mess."

He wasn't about to go into detail of how the Code had told him and who knew how many other Knights that they might as well jump ship over to the Negaverse. That would only cause trouble. But the Code had also asked for balance. And you couldn't have balance without knowing both side of the tale.
