"Well... it's a pleasure to meet you Kira, I'm Alex. I don't believe the stone guy got all of your tooth out... I could try pulling the rest out, not like a broken one will do you much good... As for the wings, I can help with that... Knowledge on how to set wings comes in handy when you have a pet bird and run a pet shop." Alexiel was in a rather pleasant mood considering her head was still bothering her and she was hungry, then again, she was usually rather pleasant when dealing with people.
And the dragon had called Devil, Vahn. That was a name Alex recognized. So, her travelling companion was one of the legends of Leviathan Stadium, this was interesting indeed. 'So... you're the great Vahn Kyonuske then... I can't blame you for not telling me your name before. I wouldn't tell people my name if I was a legend.' Alexiel sent to her companion.
Alex grabbed her bags and made her way over to the dragon. "Best to take a look at the wing first... wing bones are a bit more important in my book than a broken tooth, as I said, not much one can do about a broken tooth other than pull the rest out or leave it..."

Kira switched over to telepathy; her tooth was hurting her too much. I doubt that you will be able to fully remove the tooth, it is fused at the root to the bone. If anything, I would like it if you could staunch the bleeding.
Kira obediently extended her crumpled wing toward Alex. Closing her eyes, she turned her head to face the opposite direction, not wanting to watch the procedure, as well as having to endure it.

"Alex."
He'd already finished listening to both voicemail messages Shouyin had left him, as well as made a call back to his broker down in Barton.
"I'm going to have to leave you for a moment or so, alright?"
His eyes were closed halfway, in a bit of hazy relaxed style, even as he adjusted the final buckle on his left glove.
"I'm leaving the bike here, so if anything happens and people come your way... ride the hell out of here. Understand?"
His voice was even, as he turned on his left heel, the sides of his coat flapping idly with his movement.
"Kira. Please endure my friend here. I promise I'll be back to see you off."
He lifted his right arm up, simple wave of the back of his hand.
He was heading right for where Shouyin was, and not even sure if he was going to come back in one piece.

((I'm going to assume that all the breaks are clean, otherwise we're talking surgery here and I'm no vet. sweatdrop Sorry about the munching as far as moving from one wound to the next... but I'm strained for time and can only make sporratic posts. One can assume that the dragon would have opened her jaws so Alex could examine the tooth.))
Alexiel set her bags next to the beast before gathering up as many pieces of driftwood suitable for splints as she could find. And after examining the wing closely, determined that this would be no easy task. It would have been far simpler to set the main bones as it would have been easier to set a splint. But she could work with the finger-like bones in the wing.
Pulling medical tape from her bag, she set to work putting on the splints. Now the difficult part was actually getting the splints to stay on. Normally when setting a bone and putting a splint on, you would tape around both splints to hold them in place. One couldn't do that with the dragon's wing obviously because of the film between the bones. However, Alex got around this problem by taping the splints down tightly to the film on both the bottom and top side of the wing. Once finished, she had less than half a roll of tape left, but at least she was sure the splints weren't going anywhere.
"Now, on to the tooth." That would require lots and lots of gauze and of course, washing out the wound. Once the dragon opened her mouth, Alexiel would empty her entire water supply into the dragon's mouth to rinse out the sand and blood, etc. This would be followed by packing all of the gauze that Alex had in the spots that were bleeding.
Finally finished Alexiel looked up at the dragon and smiled. "I'm no vet, but that should help. Once you've folded your wing in, try not to move it too much. You probably shouldn't do any flying until you're sure the bones are healed. Let the gauze packing around your tooth stay there for at least an hour and the bleeding should stop. Try not to get too much dirt in there, keep it washed out with the purest water you can get ahold of, until you're sure that it's healed. You should be able to take the gauze out by yourself in an hour or so, if no one's around to help you."
Alexiel was satisfied that she had done all she could with her limited knowledge.
As for Vahn leaving... Well, Alex couldn't really go anywhere because she didn't know how to drive the motocycle, as stated before. Oh well. She could just relax on the beach for awhile...
((I think that while Vahn is gone, I'll go super stealth so I can finish this bloody school work.))

((No problem about the munching. The actions would have happened either way. And if anyone comes around, I'll be sure to pilot you to safety, like he asked.))
Patched up for the moment, Kira nodded her thanks to Alex. As Vahn left the scene, she moved to lay closer to the metal contraption, folding her wing tight. A glorified guard dog... she thought to herself.
With a yawn, Kira finally got to digesting the contents of her stomach, using the nutrients to fuel the healing process.

He came sliding down a side embankment, greaves digging in along the sandy terrain as he left the boardwalk.
He was back so quickly because he hadn't... no, truthfully, he couldn't have gone on any further.
It was a wreck.
Jogging towards where Alex and Kira were, he shouted Alex' name, as to get her attention.

Kira glanced up at Vahn's return. I would welcome your return, Little One, but I realize now that your path is separate from mine. Rising, she nodded to the both of them, gathered her treasure box between her teeth and began to saunter off down the beach without another word.

Laughter rose up from Vahn, even as he stood there.
He'd long since finally made it back to where the two of them had been waiting, and now looked a bit flush.
"Are you sure about that? I already made a promise to get you back home no matter what. But it seems a tidal wave just took out most of the southern boardwalk. There's no way for my bike to get across... unless someone with immense strength were able to help us."
He extended out his right arm, fist closed and thumb out; horizontally.
"Please... ride with me, Kiraalu."

Pausing mid-step, Kira turned her head towards Vahn. A strange look came into her eyes, a mixture of glee and hatred. Little One, I thought you'd never ask!
In one swift motion, she gulped down her treasure box once more, then bounded back to them like a kitten, still limping slightly. Now, what is it that I can do for you? she queried, a twinkle of devilish laughter trailing along after.

He slid his left foot back half a step, honestly a bit surprised at the change in demeanor that overtook the dragon.
He simply wrote it off as maybe a bit of her pride showing through...
"We... need to get to the mainland as fast as possible. The Ferry is down and I don't have much gas left in my bike.."
He thumbed back towards his Harley.
"I know you can't fly... but could you maybe swim us out or something?"

Hmm... she noised mentally, sizing both Vahn and Alex up. I could take the both of you and whatever gear you might need, but I wouldn't be able to swim your... 'bike' or whatever you called it... to the other side.
She lifted a talon to the gauze still stuffed in her mouth and gently tore it out, most of the bleeding staunched already. It would only suck up seawater anyway, if she were going for a swim. As an after thought, she stretched her neck out towards the contraption, sniffed at it, then recoiled. Not that I would enjoy taking it with us, at any rate...
Kira quickly stooped her head close to the sand, so that the pair could climb on directly behind it. Get what you require, and let us be off! she exclaimed, nearly dancing on the spot.

He squared his jaw a bit, before giving a sidelong glance at his harley.
Damn...
It was tough.. he'd had that bike for a good long while now; it still sported the scratch on it's side from when he went sliding under that shadelord's attack.
He closed his eyes, before waving his right hand up in the air a bit.
"Alright... Alex, grab your bags. We're leaving."
It was stupid, but the last word choked a bit in his throat.
A man and his machine.
What bliss.
At any rate, Vahn unhooked his duffel bag loose and slung it over his shoulder. He watched as Alex took her saddlebags and began trudging on over towards Kira.
Vahn hung back a bit, giving his bike one more look, before turning around completely.
I'll move forward. No matter what.
The harley remained there, upright and leaned to the side slightly from it's kickstand, waiting for the hopeful day that it's owner would return...
If at all.
Helping Alex climb up twoards Kira's neck and upper back, he soon got himself on up as well, grunting a bit as his greaves sought purchase.
"Let's rock."

"All right!" Kira screeched, once they'd settled. She promptly bounded off to the south towards the Gambino Ferry, Vahn and Alex in tow. She was hardly limping at all.

A swirl of sand kicked up, even as Vahn swiveled, astride his harley.
He'd had the keys within his jeans pocket for quite some time, and was admittedly somewhat relieved to have his baby back again.
"Ohhh man, I hate walking everywhere. As if anyone jump all over the place to get around."
Leaning back, he ran his left hand alongside the machine, before gripping the handlebars with both.
"Let's rock!"

Throttling forward, along the beach, he made his way back towards the docks and the ruined Ferry.
