Beaches have long been a popular attraction for tourism and recreation. Especially popular are seaside resorts and large, white sand beaches. Residents and tourists alike the beach in Gambino as a place for leisure and sport. The relatively soft formation of sand is comfortable to sit or lie on, and entering and exiting the water is far easier across this sand beach, as opposed to a rocky shore. The waves present add to the enjoyment and make the sport of body surfing and related activities possible. One of the many attractions of a sand beach, especially for children, is playing with the sand, building sand castles and other constructs.

At the edge of the beach, there was a strange silver mist that seemed to be floating in from the ocean. It covered all the land and a beach evacuation had been called. Police were at every entrance, making sure no one got on.

"Everyone be careful. Until we know if this is a hostile entity or not, please be careful and leave the beach." The officer looked up as Alexiel approached.

"Ma'am, there are dangerous things here."

Dae wouldn't spot the girl, but his senses would pick up the smell of poppy. Something that was associated with both Sejai and Rafe. Whatever it was, it was close, and it was strong.

Meanwhile, the popo looked up at Alexiel and frowned, "I'm sorry ma'am. But the beach is off limits."

"Ma'am..." The man tried to remain patient with her. "We will look for the girl. But civilians need to stay away until the station mages get here to know what's going on." He didn't want to arrest her. She was a pretty little thing.

His eyes grew wide as he stared at Alexiel.

"Mommy...."

The fully grown man stuck his thumb in his mouth and began sucking as he curled up in a fetal position on the ground. How in the hell had this man passed the police officers basic training. He had barely even been touched. Rookies....

And as the officer fell to the ground in an infantile state, Alex smiled. Urging her horse forward, she trotted happily past the officer. Once she was out of sight, he would return to normal, with the exception that he wouldn't remember seeing Alex.

She was curious as to what this strange mist was and now that she was drawing closer to the water, she could smell the scent of poppies for herself. 'Let it be Sejai... let this lead me to Sejai,' she thought to herself.

Irzael looked down at his clothes, startled. What just happened? Where are we? Cautiously, he stepped forward, "I accept this challenge. Are there any rules?" He wasn't sure what he was getting into, but he was fairly sure he couldn't get out until this Emperor was sated. The only important question now was what would be able to cheer up this morose man.
