((Sorry sweatdrop couldn't resist glancing back)) *Watch it...* Tala gave a light growl as a reply, it was half-joking, but then again, maybe it was a mild warning? "I suggest we set up camp..." Tala replied to Rosa eventually, "If we go too far without preparation, he might come into hardship..." He would have used the excuse that Meta would get tired if they pushed on too far, but he knew that was probably not the case... He could feel himself becoming more tense as they approached the darkened forest, already he could see the dark blue haze produced by the stones and decided it would be best to stop where the Mage made camp originally and head inside in the morning...

(lol nice one ^_^)
Meta rolled his eyes as he kept going, eventually stopping outside the Sune Forest, stopping where Caran had once camped. He started to kneel down as Rosa dismounted though once she'd be dismounted Meta suddenly sat down in order to make Tala slide off. The Horzun would make an odd noise as if laughing or snickering after sliding him off so he'd land in a small puddle of water and get a small wet bottom.
Rosa turned looking when she'd hear the odd noises from Meta worried. "You okay Meta? You choking or something?" She asked concerned as Meta laid down after Tala would be off his back, looking back with an amused look at Tala almost like he was enjoying a joke just played in a way, looking playful and mischevious in the Horzun's eyes.
Rosa looked to Tala confused. "Um....why are you on the ground? You okay Tala?" She asked moving over to try and help him up as the Horzun snickered some more like it found giving Tala a wet butt, till his pants would dry anyway, was funny.

Tala would glare at the creature as he picked himself up, dusting off his pants before with a wave of his hand he would wrap a small vine of dark-energy around Meta's muzzle. It was weak enough to break, but would let the Horzun know to 'watch it' - his body language seemed to mirror that as he approached the barrier... "We'll camp here as it will be safe." he said, Caran had camped there with such confidence that he figured there was no reason for anyone to fear being attacked. "Nothing gets past this barrier, going in, or out."He wasn't sure if Rosa's pure energy would allow her to pass through as freely as he, but they would no doubt find out eventually... Extending a hand, his fingers brushed across the barrier, making it ripple as his hand disappeared from sight, then, unable to resist it any longer he pushed inside, disappearing completely...

Rosa giggled and then blinked gasping and ran to the barrier. "Tala!" She screamed scared something had pulled him in. Racing over to the barrier she touched it and felt it solid. She blinked confused and pushed then pounded on it worry and fear on her face. "Tala! Oh no!" She said worried and trying to get through.
When she didn't get through she was trembling and kept pounding before backing up and leaned up back against it. "Why won't it let me in? what's going on?" She asked sadly looking down then suddenly she felt herself falling backwards and she screamed falling in through the barrier, falling on her butt inside Sune. Meta moved walking through easily and watched confused, worried about Rosa who sat on the ground, looking down to her.
Rosa looked around, slowly standing up and looked around more as Meta walked up and nuzzled her with his nose as she stood and dusted herself off. Looking to Meta she softly petted his nose and looked around worried. She gulped and slowly began to walk, holding onto Meta's reins and walked with him at her side. The Horzun stayed at Rosa's side, staying alert as she looked about. "Tala? Tala where are you?" She called softly, afraid to call out too loudly for him.

Rosa wouldn't have to walk too far into the forest before Meta would no doubt sense the male as he stood looking over an expanse of darkened forest... Tala stood at the edge of a cliff which overlooked an array of trees whose colour was a mixture of dark blue tones, it wasn't completely pitch dark however as there were many, soft illuminations dotted about the view... In small pockets were Fungi which gave off many green and blue auras whilst bugs and some larger species flitted around below them their markings also glowing illuminate in the dull light... Tala rested his left hand flat against the tree, feeling the Elder Tree through its root-link with the surrounding forest... If Rosa was to look across his face, she would see he had his eyes closed... Small vines would slip around his hand, but he would not flinch, not even as they travelled up his arm, tracing his facial features before withdrawing... Only once the vines had retreated would he open his eyes and turn back to Rosa, "She knows we're coming," he said quietly, his eyes emitting a strange, blueish glow in the dull light, "But you must stick close as she can't protect us until we reach the clearing..." he started to walk, then stopped, glancing back, "What's wrong?"

Rosa stared shocked and confused. Blinking she'd slowly move forwards with Meta at her side. "What did you just do? What do you mean? How are you speaking to a tree?" She asked confused, clearly lost and baffled by these events and wondered who he meant by "she" and about protecting us.
Meta stayed at her side nodding to Tala, eying him as if to say he best be honest with her. "I was just worried because you left so quickly and you vanished. I didn't know there was a barrier here till I tried to follow you and couldn't get through then I fell through and Meta was at my side." Rosa said softly, watching him with confused and worried eyes.

"As I said before," Tala faced her fully now, "Sune is my home; I was raised here by the Elder Tree, she has links to all living beings here, even me." He didn't realise that to one who hadn't even thought to step foot in such a 'hellhole' before would find it hard to understand, let alone believe that even those not tied to the Terra beneath their feet was connected by one being... "You couldn't get through because her shield protects all that lies within, keeping it safe from the outside world, whilst keeping that which is outside safe from what resides inside..." He wasn't sure she'd find much sense in his words, but didn't let that stop him, "Come, she's eager to meet you," without thinking, he stretched out a hand to take hers, recoiling as a small spark shot between them... "What was that?" he frowned, his hand tingling from the touch... A small vine slid down, trickling around his shoulder before wrapping lightly around, Tala would shut his eyes, listening as the reason was explained... "It's her protection..." Tala looked almost disappointed as the vine returned to the trees above him, "Because you don't belong here, she's protecting you..." he glanced at Meta, "I can't touch you either." he frowned, knowing the Horzun would no doubt abuse its protection... "If any being from Sune touches you whilst outside the clearing, it will get shocked... This should deter most things from attacking...but it can't guarantee your complete safety..." he was more than aware that some creatures, if hungry would simply ignore the pain and pursue in their attack... "We need to get moving, it's a fair walk from here..." he started walking...

Rosa jumped when the sparks happened but stared and looked saddened as she heard what Tala said was the reason for it. Nodding she pet Meta who had a mischievous look to his eyes. Oh yes, the Horzun was going to have fun with this while it could, finding it fun to pick on Tala. "So....when we reach the clearing will I still shock you?" She asked sadly as they both followed Tala.
Rosa looked around some, stunned by the forest having not seen this before. Looking back to Tala she was looking worried and upset that she had shocked him and didn't mean to. She hadn't wanted to hurt him when he was going to reach out and make a move he hadn't before or had not before done fully willing but because she felt he may have felt obligated to.
Meta moved forwards some, extending his head and snorted touching its nose to Tala's arm, snorting as it gave a soft laugh and seemed to grin, it's eyes showing it was going to have fun with this. Rosa looked to Meta shaking her head. "Be have Meta, be nice to Tala. He's a good guy and is very nice. He's done a lot for me." Rosa told the Horzun in a firm tone. Meta looked to her confused with an almost 'aw but why? its fun' look but snorted and looked down holding its head down as if pouting and made small noises in his throat as if grumbling that she had corrected him.
Rosa nodded, trying not to giggle at the Horzun's pouting of being told to be nice.

Tala didn't approve of the shock the Horzun had given him, but refrained from slapping the creature across the nose for it as the action might have upset Rosa... "We'll be safe in the clearing." Tala nodded, not exactly answering her question, but still... He led the way, making sure to keep a distance between him and Meta just incase the Horzun couldn't control himself... They walked a fair distance without altercation, Tala couldn't help brushing his hands across the plants and trees as he passed, each one extending curious feelers to see what he was... Some made an advance towards Rosa, but were quickly deflected by the energy protecting her... Tala however couldn't resist getting a little payback on Meta and, hiding the fact he'd sent a message down the vines; he willed one of the plants to whip the horzun across the hide once or twice during their trek... He could feel the forest becoming excited the closer they neared the clearing... this meant they had to be on their guard...and it wasn't long before they were confronted by one of its residents... The beast rose up infront of them, blocking their path and letting out a roar as they ground to a halt... Tala of course went for his daggers, preparing himself for a fight...

Rosa followed looking over confused when Meta would jump twice wondering what happened. Meta glared at Tala, vowing revenge for those two times. When the beast would appear Rosa gasped stepping back, staring in shock. "What in the wold is that thing?" She asked shocked staring as she hadn't seen anything like that but caused her to remember the beast Sino had sent after them when they fled the Ice Lands.

"I don't give these creatures names..." Tala shook his head, "But you can check the Beastiary and see if there's anything...whilst I kill this thing..."He took a step forward to attack, but ground to a halt as the creature was overwhelmed by a mass of vines and dragged backwards and away from them... Clearly the Elder Tree was taking matters into her own. "We should keep moving..." Sheathing his daggers he continued to lead the way, keeping an eye on Meta as, even though he'd gotten his own back, he was sure the Horzun was bound to try something...

Rosa stared wondering what kind of place this was, moving and stayed near Tala and Meta, her hands trembling. Meta was indeed planning and would ram his head into Tala's back to push him forwards and shock him, standing proudly after he'd push him forwards, he snorted and gave a whine as if gloating, following.
Rosa shook her head at the boy's small play and walked slowly, letting Meta go ahead of her. Looking around she had her hands folded on her lap, feeling uneasy as she looked around, not sure about this after that monster and the fact it seemed that plants there seemed to have a mind of their own.

Tala gave a growl as Meta zapped him again, then he turned, calling forth several vines that wrapped around the Horzun's lower legs and dragged him upwards and off his feet - the beast would hang there, upside down for a moment, then a small tamarind-like creature would proceed to toss a few pieces of fruit at him... Maybe it was because he was back home, but Tala did something next that he hadn't done in ever so long...He laughed. After he'd collected himself, Tala casually cut the vines with a wave of his hand, turning as the Horzun landed upon a soft pile of moss so he wasn't hurt... "There it is." He stopped and took in the sight... Large, thick and spiny vines wrapped themselves tightly around the trees there, blocking out all light and sealing the clearing off from the outside world...

Rosa giggled seeing this and shook her head, admitting to herself that boys were going to be boys at some point and was happy to see Tala laugh, loving the sound of his laugh and feeling glad he was having fun. Meta did not enjoy that, standing up and snorted before following and looked around some before stopping when Tala would as would Rosa.
Rosa stared at the vines and gulped. "What now? You think we can get through here?" She asked curiously to Tala, blinking, watching him then looking back to the vines.

((Couldn't find a picture...)) *sulks* "Of course." Tala shot her a soft smile, then extended his hand out, placing his right hand, flat upon the vines before stepping back, The vines seemed to come alive by his touch and began loosening their grip on the surrounding trees, uncurling in upon themselves before revealing a soft, blue aura as the clearing appeared behind... "I'm home." he said with a grin, stepping through the recoiling vines into the clearing. The main feature would be the Elder Tree, her roots and branches extending out as far as could be seen; around her lay small streams and rivers, whilst at her trunk lay several hounds... They all lifted their heads as the vines drew back, some uttering a growl as they saw the trio standing there. Tala stepped forward confidently, letting out a yip, followed by several growling sounds that weren't in human tongue... The beasts would be wary, but hearing their brother's familiar voice, they would all dart towards him, yipping and growling as they tried to discover where Tala had been. Once greetings were over, the beasts would divert their attention to Rosa and Meta... initially they all let out a gutteral, warning growl, but Tala quickly put a stop to that, silencing the pack before watching as they dispersed... "They're very protective of our Mother..." Tala lifted his eyes to the pair now, waving them forward...
