 ╔══════════════════════════════♪♫♪♫══════════════════════════════╗ Yuuki had reflected the shuriken with his sword, while looking at Zeke turning into hybrid right at his eyes.Yuuki was rather amazed and letting his guard down for a second he was been slashed in the chest by Zeke.But luckily Yuuki was able to escape it before the attack finish which cost him a slightly injured at the chest, there is no time to full around anymore Yuuki dash toward the direction of Zeke at a amazing speed in a certain distance Yuuki slashes Zeke at the chest diagonally but in midway he drops the sword, switching hands, before finishing the attack.Just to trick Zeke everything happen in a mere second. ╚═════════════════════════════♫♪♫♪═══════════════════════════════╝

He was confident he was ready for Yuuki's next attack, too, and started to reach out and grab the sword (his claws were long enough to stop the blade without cutting his palm), but Yuuki switched hands and Zeke found his chest in pain. He managed to pull back quick enough so the cut was shallow and not so long, but it was painful nonetheless. Looking at the wound, Zeke chuckled a bit, showing no traces of pain in his expression. "We match," he commented. It took him another moment to collect himself, but when he did, it was on. The gloves were coming off. Figuritively, of course. Zeke lunged forward once more, a move that always looked particularly clumsy, and sent Yuuki a barrage of claws, most fairly slow and dodge-able, but all very powerful. Most wouldn't survive Zeke's barrage, but Zeke wasn't stupid, and Yuuki wasn't 'most'.

╔══════════════════════════════♪♫♪♫══════════════════════════════╗ After finishing his attack Yuuki jump back keeping a distance from the Sloth monster.Hearing about Zeke's comment about they're equal power.Yuuki slightly laughed a little Yuuki was best at santoryu and this was only Ittoryu and the sword he was using was basically a normal katana, it cost much lower damage then his Shini kitetsu and shodai kitetsu which one two of the Saijo O Wazamono Grade Swords.But oh well this doesn't really matter.Looking as another surprise attack coming Yuuki simply dodge it while he holds the sword backwards and spins to create a whirlwind like shield blocking nearing all the claws.And some of them break trough the so called shield Yuuki did not imagine that those claw were this powerful and he was sent flying by those claw.Yuuki stood up and dusted him self off while laughing.Yuuki start to dash toward Zeke once more but this time it was faster then before once again in a certain point Yuuki thrusts his katana multiple times with one hand and tremendous power.Neither the less it was fast, comparing to Zeke claw attack, Yuuki attack is roughly three times more powerful then it. ╚═════════════════════════════♫♪♫♪═══════════════════════════════╝

While all he'd achieved was throwing the swordsman back, he'd at least shown his strength. Flexing his fingers a bit, as the vibrations from his claws hitting spinning metal had made them a bit numb, he was hardly prepared to take Yuuki's next attacks. Still, though, he side-stepped them. All of them. It was sort of like a dance in away; left, left, right, left, right, right, left. On the last thrust, Zeke slashed out with his claw, aiming to shove the blade away, and lunged past the blade at Yuuki, aiming a slash at the boy's chest area once more. He didn't know if things were on a personal level, yet, but he wasn't about to lose a fight and ruin his reputation as a powerful marine captain. The attack itself was good for Zeke; a swordsman's weakness lies in distance; too far and the swords can't reach. Too close and the swords are too big and clumsy. By getting as close as he was to Yuuki, Zeke rendered the blades useless; the only effective way to dodge would be to step back.

╔══════════════════════════════♪♫♪♫══════════════════════════════╗ Yuuki smirked in the middle of the battle, yes distance might be the key to defeating a swordsman but not Yuuki.Yuuki wasn't been known as the second Zoro/Mihawk for nothing.Zeke did manage to shove his katana but something happen here, While Zeke trying to slash Yuuki at the same part which was his chest Yukki jumped into mid air which is actually not too high from Zeke hand.He spin 360 degree diagonally, catching the katana that was being send flying to mid air earlier and dropped his shodai kitesu out and grab it.Trying to slash Zuke at the hand using by using the rotation of the speed, since sloth movement was rather slow it was nearing impossible to dodge.In addition Yuuki holds one of his katana horizontally above the shoulder of his sword arm, and then performs a circular swing that launches the air compressed projectile spiraling towards the target which is at Zeke chest.Now making two attack coming toward Zeke at once.Yuuki would love to know how he would dodge it.╚═════════════════════════════♫♪♫♪═══════════════════════════════╝

He caught the blade between two claws, eyes meeting Yuuki's. That didn't, however, stop the projectile, which was enough to send Zeke back a few feet after releasing Yuuki's blade. It hurt like hell and added another strike at his chest, adding more pain on top of that. Still, his face was a mask of apathy, showing no pain. Again, he simply looked at the wound. "Well, it seems the nurses will have a ball patching me up..." he said. While his opponent was strong, Zeke didn't count himself out at all. He was stronger, he was certain of that much. And he was a more experienced fighter. He had twenty seven years of life behind him; eleven of which he had trained himself to fight and gone through the gruelling marine training. A few scratches wasn't enough to make the kid better than him.
xxxxxZeke recovered from the blow quickly- he didn't understand how a swordsman could make a ranged blow, but there were a lot of things in the world he didn't understand, and he was willing to accept that. Charging in blindly wasn't doing much for him, and neither was simply dodging and blocking attacks. This would take some thought. Unfortunately, taking a time out during a fight was unwise. So, Zeke lunged forwards once more, however, instead of ainimg a direct slash at Yuuki, sidestepped and kept running, slashing towards his left shoulder, the back of his neck, then his back in general.

Considering his only weapons were his claws, he couldn't change from his hybrid form, but that didn't bother him too much. Again, he lunged at Yuuki and aimed three slashes; left diagnal, right diagnal, left diagnal, then stabbed his claws at Yuuki's abdomen. It wasn't a fatal blow, but if it hit, he'd be down for the count. After throwing the attacks, he leapt back and tried to see if he'd caused anymore damage.

An interesting note is that Yuuki does the technique back-handed as opposed to from the waist with a standard grip on the sword.In repay he got hit left diagnal but emotion did not came across Yuuki face.In additional Yuuki launches from his sword a crescent moon-like projectile of compressed air to the opponent with great speed, similar to 36 Pound Hou toward Zeke. and follow right behind the air compressed making a counter attack by dropping the katana, kicking it with his foot, to send it flying in a stab. ╚═════════════════════════════♫♪♫♪═══════════════════════════════╝

As he jumped back, the second attack was thrown and Zeke tried to side-step, but ended up hit in the shoulder. More pain that went hidden behind his apathetic mask. The third attack was the easiest to dodge. Without a person behind the sword, Zeke was able to reach up and grab the blade by his claws. He flipped the katana so he was holding it in his hand the way a swordsman would. He chuckled. "Now you're going to have to work to get this back, you understand that, right?" Zeke asked, pointing out the fatal flaw of Yuuki's attack. "A true swordsman should know better than to give up his weapon- even if you do have spares." Zeke didn't attack this time; instead, he waited for Yuuki's attack. No matter what, he wasn't about to give up the sword; mostly because he found the swordsman's mistake amusing, partially because he wanted him to learn and suffer from his mistake.

Zeke was about to break the blade under his foot, but Yuuki flew at him and aimed a slash at Zeke. Zeke blocked it by holding the katana's hilt in one hand, the flat of the blade in the other. He didn't expect the surprise attack, however- hence the "surprise" part. The slash cut deep into his back, and Zeke lurched forward, eyes widened, the mask of apathy broken to bits. The katana clashed to the ground, and Zeke fell to his knees, clawed, furry hand positioned over the blade, supporting himself. The fur disappeared, as did the added muscle, and Zeke coughed and sputtered a bit, back as a full human. Shaking from the pain- his other wounds were catching up to him as well- Zeke pulled the den den mushi from his pocket and it immediately started to call Ensign Tompson. He mumbled something hardly coherent into the line, and the immediate response from the snail was a, "Yes sir. Immediately." After the click, Zeke shoved the snail back in his pocket and fell on his butt with a small sigh. He wasn't about to pass out in front of his enemy, and he refused to act like he really cared about his defeat. "Well then, Yuuki. I suppose we're done here."

Specially equipped marine divers set up four wooden planks, connected by one side and flowering out much like a lotus flower. Heavy objects (ie, rocks, spikes, the blunt end of hammers) are attached to the end of these planks. This is usually positioned beneath or attached to the bottom of a pirate ship, and once the pirates set off, the signal is given, the trap snapped, their hull smashed through. Ultimately, the best technique they'd developed so far, and Yuuki's poor little raft was no match for it. The trap had been snapped the minute Yuuki was on the raft, and Zeke couldn't see if it'd worked to it's fullest because his men crowded around and blocked his vision. Two men- an ensign and a recruit- helped Zeke to his feet and led him back to the ship. The men around Yuuki should be making an arrest by now; especially since they'd caught him off-guard.
