no that is already something you are supposed to do. what i meant was you should need to enter and exit in separate posts to leave room for stuff to happen in between them. on another, related note: I know some people would probably do them one after the other, but it would still probably encourage more to happen there than just "Bob walks into the forest from hidden villageland, then turns towards the canyon and continues his way"

For new members, perhaps we should have a guide page for starting. It can be discouraging to have to search all over the place and piece things together at the same time, this only makes it take longer to join in the rp. Something that looks like this. (edit as you see fit if you want to use this) Welcome to the POTS, a roleplay guild based on the Naruto world. We hope that you can enjoy it as much as we do! Here is a useful guide to help you get started. Getting your bearingsStep 1: "Read this before you do anything!" Step 2: Read the POTS general rules here. Step 4: Look at the chakra system and jutsu learning rules. They may look complicated at first, but add a whole new level of fun to the roleplay! Step 5: See what the current story arc is Creating your RPC (RolePlay Character)Tip: Copy this information into notepad or word, you will need it!Step 6: Look into maybe choosing a bloodline, Clan or Demon for your RPC Step 7: Choose your character's Profession and Shinobi Types. Step 8: Apply for your Clan,Bloodline or Demon Step 9: Once you have done all this, fill in the character profile and submit it to the Profile Acceptance Forum, where we will make sure you did everything correctly.
Now start role playing in your village!
Optional 1. If you are confident in your Roleplaying skills you can apply for an Autorank position.
2. Not so confident in your roleplaying skills? check out the RP Academy
3. Explore! There are many fun things in this guild. Contests, creative writing session and rp tournaments. Not everything is linked to the main rp.
4. Want to add a new level of personalization to your rpc? Make some Customs!
5. Look through the Jutsu list to see what you can learn in the future. (note: only autoranks start with jutsu, as explained in the POTS rulebook)

Wow, thats great. But now that I look at it, the "read this before you do anything" section is horribly outdated. I gotta make a new one.

that i did... oops, I reorganized a couple times so I'm not entirely surprised. I fixed it for ya. Gregar, Perhaps you should just put this as part of the new "Read this first" instead and take out that step? No need to put yet another thread if you dont have to. Then you can title it "Getting Started Guide" or something of the sort.

It would be more official if a crew member posted it. Give me some time to tweak one or two things, and I think I'll put this in the New Members forum.

sorry, got another one. The universal taijutsu hread lists a lot of non-universal jutsus, like ones that use a dog, and the eight gates.
