Flamgra nodded and stepped into the portal, wondering if she had sense leviathan near or perhaps the matrons eyes upon them. He was quickly becoming accustomed to warping from place to place. As well he was getting used to the house hospitality they felt so eager to show him. He had become house weapons master and now was going to be the secret teacher of the matrons daughter. Lolth was truly smiling down upon him and giving him her blessings.

Two floating disks silently made their way across the city of Ulorbbath. Not one person made to hamper the disks journey, not when they could easily distinguish who the disks belonged to. Eventually the pair separated, their destinations very different.
Soon enough one of the single disks approached the mighty stalagmites of House Tor'Afin. The blue glow emanating from the disk was almost completely snuffed out by a strange black mist that clung to the ground of the fortress.
The disk slowed, coming to a complete stop at the entrance of the gates. It showed no open hostility.
For it was a summons, with the bearings of the First House.

Placing his emblem back into his chest pocket, the guard captain appeared from behind a stalagmite to look down the entrance path and saw several of his men bewildered at the disk that had just arrived at the gates.
The old drow then made his way over and whistled at his men to gain their attention. The soldiers then stopped their gawking and spun on their heels to face the captain.
"Stand aside," the captain gave the order and the soldiers immediately moved as one and made a perfect pathway to allow Vic'tyrr to approach the gates.
Vic'tyrr then made his way up to the gate and peered down at the disk. It sat their stagnant, hovering, and bearing the Rylinndar emblem. Knowing immediately it was a summoning to First House.
Vic'tyrr then whistled for a guard to approach, "Tell the Matron that Rylinndar has sent a Driftdisk."
The guard then bowed before Vic'tyrr and took off down the path to the second house on the left to be transported to the lower levels to give his report to the Matron.

Lariexith sat upon her Throne. Before the Mistress was a hovering, red aura materialized as a 3D map depicting Ulorbbath. Lifting her fingers that were encased by sharp finger guards, Lari began to move little figurines across the map and flicking her wrist to zoom in on the scene. The Matron did this several times. Zooming in, zooming out, changing perspective, moving the figurines over and over all the while cackling and muttering to herself in an insane manner.
Just then, from the great doors that stood as the entrance into the Throne Room gave way two loud pounds.
The map suddenly turned into red sand as it fell away into nothing. Furious, the tiny Matron Mother jumped up onto her Throne, standing, and made an annoyed shriek at the doors.
In her holler, the darkness of the ceiling roared to life as what was heard scraping sounds from above. The columns began to turn black as thousands of tiny spiders crawled out of their nests in the ceiling, spiraling down the columns, and darkened the floor as they scurried over and opened the great doors. Then, like a tidal wave, the spiders swept back up the columns and into the darkness of the ceiling where they were heard no more.
The guard who had been sent, looked about nervously. Just then he heard the swish of air and jumped back into the corridor in his defense. Embedded in the great door, right where his head had been, was Lari's signature weapon, the mace.
"WHAT! IS IT?" she snapped from her Throne as she jumped down from the seat and regained her composure.
"Matron Lari... Rylinndar has sent a Driftdisk! It waits for you at the front gates!"
"Rylinndar? A summoning? This could prove to be interesting.." Lariexith's lips suddenly curled into a twisted smile. "Retrieve my mace. I'll be at the front gates.."
The Matron then swept over to an indentation in the wall to the right of the Throne and disappeared through it leaving behind a faint lavender aura.
Lariexith appeared from behind a stalagmite and approached Vic'tyrr from behind.
Recognizing Lari's presence, the old drow male stepped to the side and bowed at his Lady's appearance. Once the other men saw she was there, they followed suit immediately afterward.
Walking past her soldiers without a word, the Matron peered through the bars of the gate at the Driftdisk. Noticing the emblem of First House marked on its side, the Matron's twisted smile returned, "Yessss?" she hissed gleefully.

"Matron Lariexith. Matron Ulvira sends her greetings. She expresses an interest in having an audience with you." The magical voice intoned.

Lariexith slowly nodded in response to the Driftdisk, "Very well."
She then turned back to her guard captain and gave him a nod.
Vic'tyrr gave a hand motion and in an instant, two men began to open the gates for their Mistress.
Lariexith then walked forward and stepped onto the Driftdisk and took a comfortable seat. She then looked up at the old drow male, "Be sure to take care of everything while I am gone. You're the one in charge.. NOT the Weapons Master. I trust you."
Not taking his eyes off of hers, Vic'tyrr then swept himself into a bow, "As you wish... M'lady."

Going from the graceful breeze of see through veils, the Priestess and Weapons Master found themselves once more starring in the long narrow room of the Melee Quarter. The dummies, training and real weapons laid in the same place they were previously as if no one had been in the room since their departure.
Briza stepped and peeked down the corridor to see if she could see any guards patrolling the halls. Using her mind's eye, her vision swept through the entire compound. They were completely alone.
The Priestess then stepped back and began removing some of her garments to ready herself for her training. Undoing the strings on her belt which took away the material which had swept behind her like a half gown. Removing her tiara and placing it on the ground next to the flap of material. Then she reached down and placed two of her extra bangles onto her ankles. In an instant the charm acted on the bangles and created a pair of white scaled boots. Though most scales are not the choice for armor, it still gave her feet some protection.
Briza then stood up and walked back over to Flamgra, giving him a faint smile, "Which weapon should I begin my training with?"

As Flamgra and Briza appeared in the melee quarters of the house, Flamgra took a few steps forward as she readied herself for training. Picking out a couple of dulled short sword training swords. He did not want her to end up full of cuts and bruises after all, then the matron would suspect something of him. As she spoke he chuckled and turned to her, a focused look on his face.
"We will begin with the easiest to use and most useful of all weapons, the short blade" Flamgra wasted no time,a warrior must be on high alert at all times. He grabbed training weapons and forcefully tossed it at Briza. If she caught it, her training would begin immediately. If not he would have to show her the proper way to hold and swing a blade. The ability to catch a weapon thrown was a useful one, then you had more weapons at your own disposal.

Briza had a feeling that Flamgra was going to toss her the blade and watched as the weapon was tossed up into the air. Almost as if it were an instinct, the Priestess threw her hand out and caught it by the hilt. Memories flooded back into her head as she recalled her training in her younger years with her former lover, the common soldier who had saved her from the hook horror.
Gripping the hilt in her hand more comfortably, she swung it around in different basic manevuars to create a better feeling with the blade. Then stopping gracefully as she took up a basic one hand stance.

"Good, now we can skip step one" Flamgra said as he circled around her,the tip of his blade pointed to the floor. She had alright posture and a basic stance, this was good. He could skip most of the basics and begin her training right away.
"GO!" Flamgra approached her quickly and swung for her shoulder, pulling the strike so he would not connect. He continued to slash a couple more times, horizontally and what would be across her chest. She had to learn to block before he would teach her to strike.

Seeing the blade coming out for her shoulder, she instinctively threw her shoulder back and took the instinctual act even further as she did a spinning manoeuver and brought her blade around to block his series of attacks. All the while just keeping her focus only on his upward strikes. She had a hard time pulling from his attacks to the point where she would be able to put in her own strikes.

"Good, now faster!" Flamgra smiled and began to quicken his strikes, pulling the blade from doing any damage. If it were to connect, the blunt sword would not do more than tap the skin. He could not risk cutting up the matrons daughter,it would no doubtedly be seen as an assassination attempt or abuse. Flamgra would surely be put to death if Lariexith thought he was trying to kill her only daughter. As his blows continued Flamgra began making high and low attacks at a moderately quick speed.
