Adair watched the large man and the one with the hood get on the bus. She listened in one their conversation for a while, which she knew was very rude but continued to do anyway, before feeling to strongly about it that she couldn't remain quiet. She rose quietly to her feet and walked even more silently towards where they sat. When she arrived near enough so that they could hear her without her raising her voice too much she began," I'm sorry, I couldn't help but overhear your conversation." She paused, worried that the large man might see her as an enemy because her veiws conflicted with his. "I don't see these abilities as any more than a unique talent. Any talented computer user could steal an identity as easily as a mind reader. It's all in how you use the gift."

Kikyo looked at Adair.
"Tell me, if the government were to put the people with unique talents, freaks, whatever into camps to possibly "cure" them, would you be happy with it?" she asked, wanting to get an outside opinion on the subject.

Adair just looked at the girl for a moment, wondering why she would even have to ask. "No! Of course I wouldn't be happy about it. Think about all of the lives that would be uprooted because of it. If they were suddenly ripped away from their family, it would make things so much worse. If you're worried about conflicts already just think about the resentment towards the government it would create!" She fidgeted with her hands for a moment, slightly guilty that her opinion was so biased.

"That's pretty much my point." Kikyo replied, glancing at Tyler. "So will you help me in fighting off the governments plan?" she smiled at Adair.

Adair gave out a sort of half-smile. "Of course. If there's one thing I'm good at, it's arguing stubbornly." She stopped and her smile curled into an embarrassed grin. "The other thing would have to be getting on people's nerves annoyingly quickly." Conveniently, she left out the part about water. She didn't think that the large one would take very kindly to knowing that she could play with water.

Surprised that at least that many people were against the plan Adair simply laughed quietly behind her hand. "Oh, sorry. My name's Adair. It's a pleasure to meet you." She gave a small curtsy by force of habit.

Amelia had fled the bus ages ago, growing tired of the human facade. She wandered around as an invisible fairy, observing what was going around her. It frustrated her at what the government was doing, trying to make all of them register like that. She shuddered as she flew over the unsuspecting humans below, feeling as if some of them were trying to take her freedom.

They couldn't possibly understand...And they never will. To them, these powers are gifts, unique traits...To me, they are the death of everything I once held dear...No longer will I speak of this to them...I cannot justify the means of my actions for further conversation with any of them...Kikyo is not the leader I once thought her to be...But still, she maybe what humanity needs...

That was all Tylor said as a response and looked out the window; inexperienced children telling him between right and wrong was not going to make him change his mind on freaks. Kikyo was indeed right, but at the same time Tylor believed he was right. If freaks were a step up the evolutionary chain, why did so many humans get left behind to be ravaged by the freaks? Human society was not ready for evolution, but Tylor couldn't fix that. All Tylor could do was try to save the many that were like 'her' and stop what happened to him or try to fix what was already broken.

Xanthos watched Rin and chuckled. He looked at Ann, smiled, and nodded. "We all feel useless. If you want the secret of how to get through it, talk to Jax. I don't even know how he does it." He chuckled and shook his head. "And I'm ready to eat~"
Jaxxon gasped and stumbled, but quickly regained his balance and looked at Rin. He smiled and nodded. "Yeah... kinda."

"Tyler, earlier you told me, and I quote, " The Registration Act was passed requiring all abnormal humans and Naturals to register at the nearest government office. " How's that "voluntary"?" Kikyo asked, looking at Tyler. The people who voted without her underestimated her way too much. Kikyo looked at Adair.
"And my name is Kikyo." she gave Adair a warm smile.

Nicky woke up and stretched out. She sighed. "I feel asleep at the computer again." She said under her breath. Getting up out of her seat, she headed for her room to change. She pulled a light pink top, bleached jean shorts, and a pair of over-the-knee socks. She quickly changed into the clothes. Then she went over to her vanity to put her hair up in a ponytail. Then she headed for the front door. She put her shoes on, which were waiting for her in the front hall way. Grabbing the keys, the left her home.

Jaxxon chuckled, sighed, and shook his head. "Nah, it still gets to me. I've just learned how to deal with it most of the time." He shrugged and looked at Ann, then at Rin, then grinned. "Instead of the Veggie Burger Place, how 'bout somewhere else with real meat?" He looked at Xanthos, chuckled, and mussed up his hair. "You'll have to deal with the meat eaters today Sir."
Xanthos smiled and gave Rin a small hug. "Thank you~" He let go, shoved his hands in his pockets, then looked at first Jaxxon, then Ann, then Rin, then back to Jaxxon. He grinned and nodded. "Of course~ I can deal." He looked up at the sky and chuckled to himself.
