Grant left the main hall and whistle into the air. Walking down into the main courtyard Grant was met by Jenny, his horse. Grant had always known that Jenny wasn't a typical riding horse but Jenny had been with him since he was young and they had a good relationship with each other. Grant mounted Jenny and yelled to the guard in the main tower. "Open the gate!" this was returned quickly by "Yes Sir." Once the door was opened he rode out towards home. Wile he rode Grant though about how Jewlet would respond. Making it home Grant left Jenny out front knowing she wouldn't go anywhere. Inside he said hello to his mother and kissed her cheek.
"You seem nervous dear." Grant's mother said.
"I'm fine ma, you always worry." Grant said as he walked into his room to get ready.

Henna shifted uncomfortably and sighed. "Ok, please don't hate me for this but If you are going to be performing in front of the royal family, may I please fix that." She gestured to his pant hem and cringed. "It will only take but a moment of your time and I would really appreciate it." She looked as if the hem were actually hurting her like a paper cut to the eye. "And I hear you will be performing at the coronation so I must ask you to visit me in my work room after the banquet I have an opening and I've been working on something I think might suit you well." Her smile widened and she finished the grapes in her hand. Once her hands were empty she held one out for him to lift up his leg to. Her would only need to run her fingers over it to weave the threads back together, and that was all. She had no doubt that he was not in the know about her gift so she did not bother to explain herself.

"I could care less for those spoiled brats and their father, but I wouldn't mind having better clothes."
Alexander lifted his leg like she wanted him to, but he was more distracted with what kinds of clothes she could make. If this woman was indeed the person who made all the clothes or designed them, Alexander could only imagine what kind of fancy clothing she could make for a Minstrel. Hopefully she would get rid of the bells in the design and make it a bit darker, maybe she took suggestions? Probably not since Alexander wouldn't dare change his music for anyone. Alexander wanted something darker; he didn't like his clothes to be too bright.
"This might be a bad time, but my name is Alexander..."
That did seem like a bad time for Alexander to introduce himself since she would be introducing herself while she fixed his costume; not a very comfortable way to speak to someone.

Henna nodded. "What a nice name. Alexander..." She smiled and pressed her fingers together on the hem. It wove right back together and folded up to match the rest of the edge. "I'm Henna, I manage the wardrobe of the royal family and major head of court for events. " She smiled softy, and fixed the ties on his shoe while she had her hands on it. "May I tell you about the costume I have in mind for you?" She asked not waiting to hear his answer before telling him anyways. "It's a dark midnight blue silk shirt with good sized silver buttons and a loose collar, and a pair of darker grey pants that fold into black tallish polished leather boots. The boots fold down and I think they look lovely when you tuck the pant into them and they puff a tad." She laughed and set his leg down gently. "You have no idea how much better I feel now." She said and put a hand on his shoulder. "Thank you." she looked around making sure no one was to close before saying. "When you said you were only a minstrel you sounded as if you thought a minstrel was very low. So I must tell you. I started her as only a Tailor and look when I climbed to." She smiled warmly and patted the rough cloth of his shirt. "Don't ever give up your dream and it can be achieved. No matter who you are.” She wanted to get him redressed right then but knew there was no time for that, and he was probably not willing to do so.

The way Henna assured him and made sure his clothes were cleaned almost made her seem like his mother or something. The words she said were kind and they had meaning; everyone started out somewhere.
"You were born with opportunities Henna, I wasn't born with any...Thanks for the opportunity however to try something better then the clothes given to servants, I can't wait to try it on later."
Alexander was getting depressed again, but the news of the clothes Henna had was enough to get him out of it. Alexander was personally glad his old outfit was fixed up; despite playing a violin and magic, he didn’t know how to sew. Alexander then thought of something brilliant, a plan he whipped up right then and there.
"Henna, I heard discussion awhile ago about an undecided person's contract in the inheritance papers, as a friend to a friend, may I suggest you ask for it? Slaves can be ever so useful, especially one for a job like yours."
Alexander had an idea to have his contract to be assigned to Henna after the King's death. If she was a good family friend, how could the King say no to her having a helper? If things played out right, he would end up being Henna's helper and she wouldn't figure it out in time; Alexander would have a better job, he wouldn't have the stress of playing the violin anymore, and there was a chance Henna would tear up his contract, setting him free. If Henna didn’t agree, maybe Grant could be talked into it.

Henna thought about this and nodded. “I could really use a helper; I think I'll take that." She grinned showing teeth. "Thank you Alex, may I call you Alex?" She took her hand off his shoulder and licked her thumb before trying to get a bit of what looked like dirt off his cheek. It came off easily and she took a moment to realize what she had done was improper. She blushed and rolled her eyes. "Sorry, it’s a bad habit, I know." She folded her hands in her lap and looked down at them.
"...I heard you playing earlier, It was really moving. You have magic, right?" Such a lovely sound had to have some magic in it and if he did have magic and he was the undecided person she thought he might be he would make a very good helper for her. She was use to having guards who were use to hard labor being assigned to help her and they usually just ended up getting in her away, someone with magic and nimble fingers would be quite useful.

"It's fine, I don't mind Alex and don't worry, I inspire those kinds of habits sometimes."
It was true, allot other peasants in the servant's quarters often did the same thing due to how childish he seemed being part Tou, so it didn't even come to mind as a embarrassing habit to him since he was use to being treated like a child.
"All Tou possess the ability to levitate objects since we changed pass the need to use our physical means to lift or carry things, but I'm not allowed to use them outside of playing the violin. Every Tou is magically imbued and connected to all sources of magic, which is why we can stay looking so young till the day we die. We never technically hit adulthood, so our minds aren’t clouded by the thoughts created by such a stage in life."
The Tou were very child-like in appearance, but their society was very advanced for its time. There were no stairs or doors, only portals and ledges to go into and levitate onto. Alexander’s powers were weak since he only got to use them in song and on the occasions he lost control over emotions and accidently used his powers without thinking.

When Grant was finished dressing he left his room.
"Aww, you look like a little angel." Grants mother said as she pinched his cheek.
"Maaaa." Grant wined. "It's just another one of those Castle events."
Grants mother fixed up Grants shirt as she spoke. "So who's the lucky lady?"
"Mom, I said its just another castle thing." Grant said rolling his eyes as he stood there. He usually hated dressing up for anything because his mother always had to make comments.
"O, Grant I know there's someone because the last time you wore that there's was that cute elf there." Grant's mother finished up and kissed him on the cheek. "Now you go have fun."
"Yes mom." Grant replied and kissed his mothers cheek. Leaving the house Grant hopped onto his horse and headed towards the castle.

Henna smiled slyly. "Well than Alex, if I am going to sign up for what I think I'm going to sign up for I would really like it if you could start boning up on those magical gifts you have hidden inside you. They will be a lot of help in the kind of work I might need you to do." She reached out and fixed his hair it had been sticking up at an odd angle and her mind needed her to fix it. She had a strong attachment for children, the lack of a significant other really impacted her social life/skills. She would have gotten herself a man, but she was not that old and she had a job that took most of her time. Not to mention that she found most of the suitable men in court to be pigs and scoundrels. All of the guys she could stand to be around she treated like children, one example being Grant.

"Oh, so you know? I will then Henna, it will feel good not having to worry about playing this violin again; music gets boring if you play it too long."
Alexander was a little bit childish for his age since he didn't grow up like he was supposed to. Tou were thought to be grown up according to their age, but all of Alexander’s life was spent being treated like a child, so he remained still a bit childish despite his actual age. It was in high hopes that Henna would receive his contract before the King's death or everyday Alexander would feel guilty hoping the King would just roll over and kick the bucket every day.
"Is there anything particular you want me to practice?"
Alexander was thinking the standard stuff like levitating spools of thread, placing thread through the holes of the top of sewing needles and such. Alexander was looking forward to working with Henna, she seemed like a good person, though she probably had an attitude fit for her work, which made Alexander worry he would also serve as an example for all the children’s clothes she made.

Henna thought for a few moment. "I want you to try levitating larger thing like bolts of fabric, and stacks of folded clothes without unrolling or unfolding them. It would be really cool to not have to carry the bolts up the stairs and you could levitate them though the window. She nodded. "And work on accuracy with very light things like the tip of a piece of thread though a needle eye. " She waited a lot of time threading needles.
"How old are you Alex?" She asked hoping that knowing his age would help her tread him with more respect. It worked on occasion with Grant, but only when she was really trying. Respect was a hard concept for her to grasp. Especially when every one she worked for relied on her for her work as if she were their mother.

((OOC: Got to go, sorry.))
"Um...Fifty-Seven...Hehe..."
Alexander wasn't exactly comfortable telling people his age since it destroyed the illusion that he was a sweet innocent child with no real standings on anything, often using that advantage to get away with anything. Usually people forgot his age and treated him like he was still five years old anyway, which worked for him. If Henna did treat him like his age, he would enjoy it, but Alexander would miss the benefits.
Alexander didn't want to be treated like an old man though, he would hate that. Tou died at the age of a hundred usually, but some lived pass that to the record of one time being five hundred years. Despite how long they lived, Tou only grew stronger in magical powers as they grew older and their physical appearance didn't change either as they grew older. It was viewed by many Tou scholars that the magic in the Tou Kingdom purposely made it so Tou didn't live pass a hundred years so that new generations would develop.

"Oh." She said clearly surprised she was expecting twenty- five or even thirty- two. But over fifty!? She sat up straighter and folded her hands in her lap, age deserved her respect, and he certainly had age... But he was so cute and little! Like the child she was distended to never have. "Well then, Alex sir. I will see if I can get our working arrangement in order by the end of the banquet." She usually got whatever she asked for from the court, she just had that talent with them, and one little slave boy was properly not going to be that hard to take care of. She took the first sip of the evening from her to full wine glass and sighed. Only the best for the royal family…and the people who got to the banquet hall first to take things off the royal family’s table.

As Cyrith parted ways with his green haired peer, He began his ascension to his chambers, hoping to catch a quick bath before the banquet would begin. He could still smell the scent of common people all over his clothes and skin, and did not wish to offend the Princess...well not quite yet.
As he approached his room, Cyrith called to the nearest servant, whom seemed to be in quite a hurry over something, but it mattered not. Nothing was more important to them but his needs and the needs of his family, "I would like a bath, please have the tub ready with hot water within the next five minutes.""Of course your Highness," The servant bowed then quickly scurried into Cyrith's chambers. 'Now what to do for five minutes?' Cyrith thought as he began to aimlessly wander the halls.

"Ah! Sorry! I have to. Darn it!" She jumped up. She had forgotten to get the prince's clothes ready for the evening. He was always to pissy about it too. She ran out the door and down the hall, making it into the Prince's chambers just as he was coming out. "I'm very sorry your highness." She apologized panic written across her face. She bowed again and looked up into his eyes.
"I... Wow. I'm sorry I had things that needed to get done for the coronation, and the poison, and I just got back today, I'm sorry." She put her hand on his shoulder gently and tilted her head a little. She was dressed and ready for the banquet not work, but she could not over look something as important as helping the Prince chose his clothing.
