Laila took the rose from Jewlet's hand, and sniffed at the rose. The fragrance was a lot more sweeter now that she could smell it at such a close distance. Though Laila hated land creatures, there was really no need to hate the land plants up there, was there? Laila smiled at Jewlet, "Thank you then." Laila sniffed the rose for one more time, before lowering it to her side, clutching it tightly in her hand. Laila lifted her head to look at Jewlet again, her eyes clouded with thoughts, "So, she said she lost a life to the sea? Hmm... Any idea what it was?"

"If you can trust me, then I welcome your trust High Priestess."
Mizu didn't one-hundred percent believe the Priestess trusted him, but if she did, it only took her trust in order to stay with the group, no one else's was required. Mizu wasn't going to try to kill her now; it was in his honor to wait till the quest to where ever this group was going was over, if not, dishonor would stain his mind. That was thoughts for later though, now was time to gorge on the foods presented and have a fair fill to prepare for the journey ahead.
Grimloq was at worry, the festival was going to begin in a few days and he couldn't find Rikku anywhere. This was horrible; Grimloq was required by tradition to offer a gift to each non-reptile tribe in celebration and the greatest gift needed to be given to Rikku in order of tradition. This Day of Oracles was the Festival of Unity for the Reptilian Tribes and as a sign of Unity, Grimloq was required to give the High Priestess a bracelet, but not any bracelet; this one had a tooth from each Reptile leader in the Land of Blossoms, from the Lizard men to the Naga, each tribe needed to contribute. This made it Grimloq's duty to find Rikku and give her the gift, but the problem of putting someone in charge of the Reptile Tribes was the first task. Grimloq was currently helping direct decoration in the Blue Scale City for the festival, he barely had time to do anything else, this caused things to look doubtful for him, there wasn't time to look for a temporary leader.

Jewlet smiled as she felt the change in Liala mood. "Very much welcome." She did a flip. "Ya. I don't know what. But I have heard many things from the elders what she lost to the sea, but they always say it mite not be true." She sighed as she felt like a history book. "I don't think all the land beings are bad. One has saved me alot after I had been cought." She grinned wildly.

Laila widened her eyes in surprise when she heard what Jewlet had to say about the land creatures. A land creature had actually saved her? No wonder there were so many times of Jewlet's captures that she was able to escape and get back to the sea safely and quickly. Thinkinh about it, there were certainly gossips, about Jewlet and a land creature.
Irritated by the constant sunlight shining through the water surface, Laila swam to the bottom of the sea, where the sunlight couldn't penetrate, and with rocks scattered all around. "Interesting, a land creature saved you? What is it?" Laila sat on a larger rock, and crossed her legs, ready for an intriguing tale about this mysterious land creature.

Jewlet relaxed a little bit but found it hard at the moment to fully relax. She sighed and started to hum a happy tune. She followed Liala deeper into the water depths. "Yep." She sat down on the floor of the sea. "Oh, I'm not saying a thing." She smiled.

"Ah, a secret, huh?" Laila smiled. It had been awhile since she had ever talked to anyone for such a long time and on such friendly terms. She must say she missed those times really bad. Those times were mainly the times when her mermaid "mother" was alive. Feeling tears were starting to form in her eyes, Laila turned her face skywards, so that Jewlet wouldn't see the tears floating out of her eyes and merging into the sea water. Way above her, she could see the faint image of the clear blue sky shimmering. But the outlines of the land fairy had disappeared. "Where has she gone?" Laila wondered under her breath.

"Yep. I don't what them to get into trouble." She looked at Liala and looked down. She actted like she didn't see the tears. She looked up as well and laid back. "I don't know. She comes to the water when she has the chance to." She said as she slowly moved her tail. "I think she is a peace keeper and travels alot, but sence there has been alot of trouble and weird things happening she cann't really go anywhere."

Ruri looked from Mizu to Rikku, and shrugged slightly. If the High Priestess trusts him...then he can't be all bad She thought to herself as she began to eat. Ruri quickly gobbled what was in front of her and started to reaching for seconds. "Rikku? Would you mind if I came along with you? I mean, there could be other things out there that just Maia and you couldn't handle. And, if it's ok with Master...I wouldn't mind seeing the Lake of Allies."

Laila wiped her eyes with the back of her hand, even though the sea water had already washed the tears off. Maybe it was just a reflex movement she inherited from the land creatures. Laila lowered her head and faced Jewlet, a smile forming on her face once again, "You do know an awful lot about the land creatures, Jewlet." Laila pondered over Jewlet's words, "I bet that fairy must've lost something really important to the sea, if she had to come whenever she had the chance to."

Jewlet cover her mouth realizing she had said to much as she always did. She sat up and her eye brow twiched. "Um... uha." She removed her hand and tried to smile but failed. Her mind was in panic for once agian she didn't fully think her words out. She sighed and laid back down. "I get captured alot, and then on top of that I spy." She said.

Maia hissed in her outrage, If I don't calm down, I'll start seeing red, She thought angrily, This is madness!
She stared, repulsed by the thought of the water creature coming with them to the lake of Alllies, why was she so mad in the first place? She forced her mind to be optimistic, and grinned.((Short post))

I would be more than happy to have you come Ruri, the more the merrier!" Rikku said happily, glad that Ruri didn't intend on leaving them behind. "We should be leaving soon though...." Rikku said getting closer to the end of her meal.
“God, will you just shut up!” Tibarn said half frustrated, half laughing. “You are not a servant, and i am not your master. Ruri you are family to me.....like a daughter, and would you call a member of your family master?" he asked and then looked over at Rikku. ”It is the same reason why i dont call Rikku by any of her formal titles, she is like a niece to me and she has always Rikku so i will call her Rikku. So stop calling me master." He said taking a big bite of his dinner.

Ruri blinked and grimaced at the statement Tibarn made. "You know it's kinda hard not to call you Master when every Harpy seemed to glare at me when I called you father. So, I decided to stick with Master...gets me in less trouble, and doesn't hurt you reputation. Oh and don't worry about me feeling like a servant...Even though I am calling you Master, I'm still saying Father in my head." She shrugged and looked back at Rikku. "Again, I state the fact that I wouldn't feel too right about leaving the group without seeing you safely to wherever you need to go. There is some pretty dangerous stuff out in wild and you need all the help you can get. Thanks for allowing me along, so I can help you out." Ruri smiled and finished up her last plate of food.

Laila's interest was pepped up at Jewlet's words. "Anything interesting around the land nowadays? I have not been up there for quite awhile now," Laila leaned forward on the rock, her attention captured. None of her superiors had sent her up onto the land for the last month. War Lord Mizu seemed to be hatching a very secretive plan for the land creatures. The Sea Army had gossiped among the ranks, but no one really knew what the plan was about. Last night's meeting was not very revealing either.

"I think they maybe planing a attack or a way to fight back or something like those two..." She put her hand on her chin and smiled.
