Welcome, tealove! I love tea. <3
You're never too old for Halloween. Maybe you'll get funny looks if you trick-or-treat, but you're never too old, damnit! I dressed up and wandered around the houses near campus... no one seemed to mind giving us candy, either. XD I suspect it's because people around here are kinda rich.
I'll dress up this Halloween, but my 2D Design class is from 6:30PM to 10PM, so I probably won't get to go out anywhere.

Thank you! (:
I've never really dressed up for Halloween at all, but I might this year... My college has a party which I may or may not attend. Hm. It depends on what my schedule'll look like then and if any of my friends are going. xDD
Although, the temptation of going outfit shopping in some pseudo-gothrock clothing stores is a great one. ninja

Welcome to the guild tealove! I'm going to Disneyland on Halloween this year and I kind of want to put my domestic abuse/crackwhore make-up practice to the test but I don't think they'll let me in and my niece cries whenever I do it so. sweatdrop

Thank you, Mekania!
Hmm, you could always bring your makeup stuff and put it on when you're already inside... rofl But then again, your niece would still be scared I suppose. :s

Welcome to the guild Vil! mrgreen
When IS Halloween anyway? It wasn't something we celebrated in Malaysia, so I missed out completely when growing up, haha. Last year at my old flat, I was washing up dishes at night, and then I turned around to look at the window, and there was an ugly mottled face staring at me! rofl
Gave me a shock, then it turned out to be several kids trick or treating. I also got my flatmate to look through the peephole when the door was knocked, and she almost screamed! xd

I made a scabby wound on my wrist once and she screamed and cried for over an hour (even after I wiped it off in front of her) so yeah...probably not the best idea XD
It's October 31st, Thornsheild!

Here's a question: what recourse does one have when the artist they've paid has their account hacked?
I won two auctions in January of last year and paid- I don't know, 280K (I think) for one and Horns of the Demon for the other. Now, at this point I don't think the artist is going to produce any of the art (I don't think they are, anyway, since they have a policy of not responding to Notes, who the mongoose knows?) - drag, but that doesn't really bother me (that's kind of their bag and it's not really a big deal - I don't hold it against them, even though I like their art a lot). I've mentioned getting a refund before (well before they got hacked), but to no avail, and now they've semi-recently been hacked I'm wondering if there's anything I can do. Or, you know, what would you do?
I suspect there isn't a lot I can do, but, unlike the artist, who could hold an auction and regain what I gave them (and more) in a heartbeat, I can't do that (<- too emo, perhaps?).

Well, if they got hacked, I would cancel the trade first and foremost - dunno who's actually in that account, you know. THen, if they had a new account, ask them if they still wanted to do it. And if they say no, then, well, money better spent elsewhere.

I think Audley sent the payment in advance, since he asked to "get refunded" before the account was hacked.

Sorry for your loss.
I think the only thing you could do would be to ask a mod for help, but it's unlikely that they'd be able to refund the money. If the one who was hacked does get back their account, he/she should give it back to you, but that too, is unlikely.

"A lonely life where no one understands you..."This is one of the reasons I really, really don't like paying in full until I have the art. Best of luck getting it back - or getting the art. :/ "...but don't give up because the music do."
