I have like 200 pages left to go! I stayed up till 530 am to read it, man I was tired and still didnt finish because I went shopping. I bought 2 shirts, 2 skinny jeans (they are so awesome), and 2 high heels to go with said skinny jeans. I look so rockin' in them. Anyways, kitsune, I'm sorry, you will get to read it in like a week or so! $80 dollars for a book! burning_eyes I think I would die if I had to spend that much money on one book, I think we are spoiled here in the states by the cheap prices for things, except gasoline. At least its down to 395 here!
A/N: Turayza, I think I posted that HP/Naruto crossover!

How many pages is it in that book? O: (That's the only spoiler I want! xD) Yeah I know! It's so tragic! My never-ending tragedy! Oh, woe to me! I doubt I'll ever get over the fateful scars this terrible situation has left upon my fragile soul! -swoons- I know. It's bloody expensive! I believe that was the price I payed for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows if my memory serves me correctly. Most books aren't that expensive. Mostly it's only books in Norwegian that reaches the price of about 100 dollars. You shouldn't complain about gasoline prices.. Norway, Denmark and the Netherlands I believe it was, has the most expensive gasoline prices in the world. I believe that it's over 12 kr a liter (over two dollars a liter) here. You guys have bloody cheap pizza... I mean.. here, it's about 250 kr, which is 48 dollars for one if you want to order it or eat at a pizza place. <.< And then you have to pay the other 40 kr (8 dollars) for the soda. And then perhaps 25 kr (5 dollars) for anything extra. xD It's kinda ridiculous. Let's just say that you don't go out to eat every day here.

Wow, that's funny. o-o I mean, the prices. Why do they vary so much?! For my copy of HP&DH (thin cover) I gave 50zł, that is 25$ (now 1$ is 2zł). And for the biggest size pizza (I have seen the leaflet ad yesterday) you pay up to 40zł that is 20$ (depends on the pizza place). Sooo... yeah. I don't get it. But there is still an inflation, unfortunately. Like everywhere, I guess.
Anyway I can comfort you, Kitsune, I also don't have Breaking Dawn yet. ^^ I... just don't have money (too much loafing around with my friends) and my mom doesn't think giving me money for a book about vampires is a good idea, lol. xD Parents are sometimes seriously ridiculous. I found at the web page of my favorite bookstore, that they have a pack of three books by Stephenie Meyer (Breaking Dawn, New Moon and Eclipse) which is much cheaper than to buy them separately.

Because Norway is expensive. D: I've been in Poland, and it was like.. "WOAH! Cheap... x3" The book would be about 200 zl. :3 There's about 2 kr in a zl. ^^ Also, we do have quite high allowances. But then again, after the almost 50% taxes is done... Well, then you're not left with much. xD; Which might explain why most people has loans which they have to pay for during 30 years. xD; That's good to hear! Then I'm not alone! biggrin I don't lack money, seeing as at the moment I've got about 1000 kr, and the woman I'm usually babysitting for owes me 2000 kr. But really, there's just some books thats that expensive. For example, the Deathly Hallows I bought was the one with the pendant on. Which I believe is sold at a higher price than those with the drawings and such. Also, pocket editions usually only cost about 100 kr. Which is 20 dollars. :3 Also, the Norwegian books are always sold at a much higher price, due to they being more rare than English ones.

Well no I shouldn't complain about the gas prices, even though I don't know about liters (we americans are stupid with the metric system!) stressed I don't know much about high allowances?? Well we do have home loans when we buy houses, but doesn't everyone does though? Seriously the inflation is so bad here, that's why we are going to Europe in 2 years, so that the economy can get better, because the dollar sucks. I don't know what 1000 kr is? My breaking dawn cost me like $15.60 because when you bought it at the midnight party at barnes it was 30% plus I get membership savings which was an extra 10%, I was pretty happy. I got DH at that price too. Pizza is ridiculously cheap here? Well yes, yes it is. You can get a 1 medium pizza for just $5 at Pizza Hut and at Little Cesars for like $2-3 I believe. If you want to go to a fancy pizza restaurant than with going to a chain then the most expensive at California Pizza Kitchen is like $10-12 for a large, it's usually at the speciality restaurants where pizza is most expensive. Hamburgers are cheap a McDonalds, $1 for a cheeseburger and 2 big macs for $350. I love california! Except it was so hot today. Like 95 degrees. gonk
A/N: The book is 754 pgs. I just finished it! It was amazing!

I'm back! =D Welcome to Ravenclaw, silvr_breez. There usually aren't people online at the same moment you are (due to us all living in different timelines, and having real life lives to deal with) but if you check back once (or more) a day, someone will generally have posted. To both silvr_breez and fireinthenight: Please make sure your posts are at least two sentences long, so you don't break the Haven rules and risk losing Ravenclaw points.
There isn't a quick link that I know of, but you can stick a banner with a direct link to the Ravenclaw commons (I can give you the code if you give me a banner) somewhere easier to access than clicking through the whole setup of Gaia.

Actually, here's the code: Ravenclaw Common Room It's not a picture, though. Just post it somewhere and it'll be clickable. That's ridiculous! Paying $50+ for a pizza .__.' Well, at least you've only got three days to wait... :/ Yeah, I read fast. It helps on tests, but makes amazing books like these feel short. -sigh- Paraphernali: Oh yeah--the HP/Naruto fanfic was the one you posted. It's good--too bad they stopped posting :[

Yeah... Everything in Norway is a bit over-priced. And now it's getting more expensive! gonk
My beloved Smoothie, which for just a few months ago only cost 16 kr, is now priced for a freaking 25 kr! gonk
Before, it only cost 3 dollars. Now, they've increased it with two dollars. D: And it's half a liter! HALF! D: And if you're gonna buy half a liter of coke or anything else, it's 2.50 dollars. >.< It's no fun! D:
