"Wit beyond measure...Hi guys! Sorry I haven't posted in a while. Friday was my birthday, my cousin's birthday, and my parent's anniversary, so I was caught up in several celebrations. LHH, I posted my entry for the avatar contest awhile ago. I was worried you couldn't find it. May I post it again here? ...is a man's greatest treasure."

Oh wow--happy late birthday, then. ^ ^ How is everyone? Summer seems...off...to me. It's supposed to be hot right now, but it's just about average...I dunno.

Hello everyone! I just came back from a fun-filled stressed weekend. On Friday was comic-con which was just awesome (especially since I was with my bf). On saturday I went to hollywood to the pantages theatre to see Wicked with my mom. That was awesome. I did the snape avi if LHH you saw my entry for that. Im just too busy, having a boyfriend, school and a social life just takes away all the time.

Well Turayza, it's still a year till I go. And we don't decide where in the UK we exchange to... We just apply to the country, then the people who's housing the student decides which students to take in. So really, I have no idea where I'll be going, though I do hope Birmingham, England. smile
Yeah I know! Japan has all these strange things, don't they? o.o It's quite an eccentric country.. xD;
Yeah, I know.. I wish I could learn all the languages in the world but... unfortunately, we humans doesn't have that kind of lifespan... -Laughs-
..Imagine all the money you'd have to spend on dictionaries! O.O Well, there goes those months of salary. xD;
Happy belated birthday Luna! ^^
I understand what you mean with an off summer Turyaza.. o.o It hasn't really been a summer here... There's hardly been any days with over 20 C.. o.o
You were to a comic-con Para? That's so awesome! biggrin
The only conventions I know of in Norway is Sora-con and Desu-con... o.o Both anime-conventions, I believe. Not really that sure about the first but... ^^;

 Yep, I'm looking at all the House Appreciation entries from June 8th on. And yes, I did see your great Severus, Para! Surely, some one, hopefully a Ravenclaw will do poor comfort loving Horace Slughorn!
I'll choose 5 winners BUT we have no double Tek-Tek entries and no House decorated threads, few Ravenclaw icons.
Let's go for the max points, and fun - we've got 4 days, counting today!
--LHH P.S. I've been following the San Diego Comi-Con in the local paper - The Twilight and Watchmen panels sounded like great fun! But I've been too busy to go this year - though I did pick a friend up at the Amtrak train station on Saturday and saw lots of people on the streets carrying Comi-con swag, as well as saw a Green Lantern, several barbarians (males and females) in furs and leathers, and a storm trooper. Sigh! I do love the masquerade!

Conventions are lots of fun and very packed. They have exhibitors selling products and movies and fanclubs and the masquerade (that is the funnest part). I waited in the gaia line to get in and I never got in. Oh well. What I really want to do is go to a harry potter convention.

Have you ever heard of Plato, Aristotle, Socrates? That sounds like so much fun i want to go to one when I can but i don't pay enough attention to realize there's one here. Morons.

Weeeeeeeeeeeeeee! -Spins in a circle-
It's a sun eclipse going on here at the moment! In a while, 80% of the sun will be covered! ^^ Hvitøya, which lies close to Svalbard or something, is gonna have a complete eclipse. Unfortunately, I live in Harstad, so we don't get a complete one. D:
The sun isn't much covered at the moment. Just a tiny fragment. But that'll soon change! ^^
Edit: I just finished reading the fourth book of the Legend of the Ice People saga. D: Three of my favorite characters are DEAD! crying DEAD! -Sobs-
First Sol. Then Tengel and Silje. Gah! >.<
But then, that's what you have to expect when you read a long series which follows a family for over 400 years.. D:

Arghhh. I wanna see a solar eclipse D< -sighs- They're so rare, and only a little chunk of people can actually see them...
Dead? 400 years? You'd think a lot more people were dead... .__.'

-Grins- They're not that rare.. I mean, it was only a few years ago that we had a solar eclipse here in Norway. biggrin I think I've seen three - four during my lifetime of sixteen years! ^^
Yeah. They're dead! ;-; -Sniffles-
Well, right now I'm only in 1633 or something like that. So, it's only been about... 51 years or so. There's been more deaths recently, but they were the three people I really liked! D:
It's really good that at the beginning of the book, the author has drawn a family tree.. Thank goodness for that... @.@ After all, the family is getting quite large. D:

I've never seen a full solar eclipse, but I wish I could! My brother seen one a few years ago because he was on vacations in a place where the full eclipse was planned to be seen. We could see only a partial one here, but I guess it's better than nothing. I think what that Turayza meant was that in a one specific place those full eclipses are rare... but I may be wrong, so correct me. ^^;
I was on about 2-3 conventions (the first was in 1997, I guess xD and it was a Sailor Moon convention) so far. I guess (well, I'm pretty sure) those in USA are much much bigger than those in Poland or even in Europe. Of course we have some Polish exhibitors, fan-vends, contests and cosplays but they all seem intimate to me. So, yeah. But they're fun, still. I wish I knew how to sew so I could make myself a costume for a cosplay. ^^; I wonder what anime/manga/book/game/etc. xD character I would've pick...
Oh, by the way! I love your new avatar, Kitsune! <3

Hehe.. Yeah, full eclipses are very rare. One of those I haven't seen myself, but we could follow the whole thing on TV. The eclipse was filmed on Hvitøya, so we could watch. :3
It hasn't been a full solar eclipse that you could see in this part of Norway since... 1954 or something.
Ah, lucky! I've never been to a convention before... This one in November will be my first! blaugh I can hardly wait! ^^
I'm sure the ones in Poland is bigger than the one in Norway... I mean, we're not even four million citizens... And of course, not everyone of those is animefans! xD; I'm sure we're the minority. xd
Thanks! I'm glad you like it! biggrin It's based on a creature I've created to a fanfic of mine. Though the plot is taken from the story I wrote for my English exam. I loved it so much, that I've furthered the plot, and my avatar is one of the creatures in it. ^^ So I'm glad you like it!
Oh, and by the way, I love the way you fix your post... With the first letter in the paragraph being bigger than the rest. It looks more organized that way! ^^

Hey Kitsune, you took the devil imp potion! =O It looks great ^ ^ Fivienne, perfectly interpreted. I've never seen a lunar eclipse (not even a partial one...-sigh-) but then, I've been in the same 100-mile radius that I've been in since birth. Wow, my life is...still. XD I used to put in enters and format things, but I got lazy...and IE doesn't have the presetting thing that firefox does. :/

Thank you! biggrin I love the imp potions. Believe me, I used a long time to decide which one to use!
I've seen several lunar eclipses! o.o Those arn't as rare as solar ones... And that's saying something, since we don't see the moon from about late May - early September or something like that... xD;;
Awww.. Lazy little Turayza. xP
Speaking of format... It was HELL fixing my entry for the August fanfiction competition! I mean, I had to write up all the freaking codes... It was vert taxing. D:
