The monsters begin to form into a circle around the tree in the middle of the city.

Brian grins, a fireball appearing in his hand. Then he blinks, and looks at Walter. "Say, does fire work well on skeletons? I know it does on zombies, but what about skeletons?"
"Must you ask such senseless questions at times like these?" He replied, narrowing his eyes at him.

"Looks like we'll need more firepower," Koridan said as he reslung his rifle and pressed a few buttons on his wrist computer. After a few moments, he seemed to have spawned a large green cannon on his shoulder. "Hopefully this will do the trick," he said as he pulled down the trigger and a pulsing red laser beam appeared from the end of the weapon aimed at the monsters in the circle.
Raven sighed. "I don't think it works..."
A few seconds passed when the weapon released a huge burst of energy at the monsters. "I'd reconsider that statement," Koridan said as he recoiled from the kick of the weapon. The beam hit its mark on the monsters.

The ice-water walkers sizzled and became steam. But more of the creatures continued to crawl out of the water and head toward the tree.

Brian blinks, then shrugs, throwing fireballs at the ice creatures. "They're made of ice, so what does it matter!"
"You couldn't have noticed that before?"

Emilia grabs Ariel's sleeve as the skeletons close in on them.
Aros flicks his wrist and launches some dark energy at them.
"Uhhh... hey wheres Lillian?" she says then looks over at Kaelynn, "Im goin in." she flys off the branch over skeletons barely missing some.

Suddenly, no new monsters rose from the water and the rain stopped. Instead, Spectre shrieked and shattered all the windows in town. Then he dove into the water, where the muck color of his slime-skin began to spread in the water.

Walter lifts up Ariel and Emilia, and jumps into a tree. "Stay here." He said firmly.
Ariel nods, and holds onto Emilia. "Be careful, and watch Dad. You know how he is in times like this.." She said, giving a small sigh.

Koridan watched as the murk spread. "s**t..." he said as the laser popped into a smaller size and he swapped it for the shotgun on his back.
Raven watched as she began to quietly chant a incantation.

The scream sends Mia off track for a moment, but she soon gets back onto her normal flight path.
Aros and Anna begin to fight the skeletons using dark energy.
Kaelynn looks over at Emilia and Ariel, "you know... you two arent helpless.... well atleast the young one isnt. Whatever that potion did... it gave her some strange connection with water. I saw her obsorbing it."
{She's back!!!}
Viola watches all this from the top of the hill. Slightly admiring Spectre's plan.
Aros see's Viola. He drops every bit of dark energy, leaving it to disintigrate into the water.
Viola walks over and pushes Glonri of his rock.

Ariel looks at Mia sternly. "So, you want me to send out my little sister, who's been clinging to me in fear, to go absorb the water?" She looks away. "I can't do that."
Walter jumps back down from the tree and lands on top of the water, seeming to be floating on it.
A sudden crack began to form in the earth in front of the tree, and the land began to rise up a little. An elderly man appears beside the tree. "Harrumph! You idiots can't protect a single tree?" He grumbled.

Aros, regaining his composer grabs Anna's arm and begins to walk away, then turns around. "No. I must kill her... agian."
