The elevator in the center of Orion's main room hummed to life, taking a minute to rise up to the top floor, and then decend from it to the bottom of the shaft. The doors hissed open, and Jade stepped out, a broad smile adorning her features.

She paused a few feet from the door, and turned her head in the direction of the Arena, feeling a few powers there. Epithany, Unks, another person (can't remember if she met Cain or not..^ ^;; ) and.....

Her face lit up even more as she recognized the fourth power, one she hadn't felt, nor seen in a long time. Jade turned towards the hallway and jogged down it, entering the arena and looking around.

"Nii-chan!"

"Yes," Keno says bowing to Cain respectively, "but I can't say it would disappoint me. After all, I can't well remember a single match we had that went through uninterrupted." As his head rose he nodded in acknowledgement of Epithany who had graciously addressed him first. "You words are as poetic as ever. I do believe your tongue is by far the craftiest. A great skill if I may say so myself." Hearing of Chi and adrenaline caught his particular interest despite the small talk. He knew that Chi and Ki were interchangeable for the energy he used in combat, but he also knew about adrenaline, seeing as all living species possessed some form of it or other. What Cain was displaying was not adrenaline however. He seemed to be unaware of such however. Perhaps for the better. Not a night went by that Keno didn't wonder how much better his physical prowess might be if he were in the mindset that his limbs were his only true weapon.

His thoughts were luckily stopped as he heard the familiar voice of a woman dearest to his heart. Only two others were as great a joy to his life. "Jade!" His voice had become that of the playful older brother he always was with Jade. The voice of near absolute happiness. Rather than run toward her he waited for the inevitable glomp that was to come, smiling as he waited.
