Brayden's hand unconsciously went to his right hand. It was starting to become a nervous tic of his apparently. Gloves or no, he still knew the mark that lay underneath. He just couldn't remember getting it, or when it had been etched onto his person. That scared him more than the actual mark itself.

"I'm sure we've all done things we're not proud of," he murmured, meaning it just as much for himself as for Kaya's benefit. He wasn't sure of his own actions however, that much he didn't recall.

Felix shook his head in response to Brayden's question. "Not unless you can make the water disappear." he said, wryly. He took a deep breath, and forced himself to release his hold on the deck, frowning at the marks he's left in the wood. If someone ordered him to stop being so afraid of the water, he would, but he doubted that anyone here would do so on their own, and it would look quite strange for him to ask...

In an effort to distract himself, he watched Vhan, absently wishing the other boy would stay away from the railing... It almost seemed as if Vhan was happy that he was a part of Snag'em, and that made Felix want to confirm that he was indeed a part of said team, but he had been ordered not to do so, under any circumstances. So, he lied. "I used to be, they broke up after the incident with that kid."

Since Felix was watching Vhan, he noticed the tattoo on the back of the other boy's neck, and it seemed familiar, but he couldn't place where he had seen it before. His own team tattoo was in the hollow of his back, between his shoulder blades.

Chloe was watching the waves, as the ship neared the drawbridge. She spotted another Mr. Mime along the shore, but it didn't really pose a threat to her. However, a moment later, the Mr. Mime dashed across the water, using its invisible walls as a makeshift bridge, which seemed to be working relatively well.

It was in pursuit of something. Which, Chloe realized a moment later, was an Exeggcute and a Sudowoodo of all things. Chloe watched the chase, which was relatively amusing. The Sudowoodo certainly couldn't touch the water, so it was using two of the Exeggcute's eggs to float above. The sputtering eggs where arguing with themselves, as they floated downstream.

Apparently they had done something to upset the Mr. Mime, because it was in hot pursuit.

Chloe watched the chase for a bit longer before deciding to lend a hand to the two being chased. She summoned Daimon into the waters below the ship, the Kingdra gliding along easily beside the vessel as she tossed him two Pokeballs and gave him instructions. Daimon nodded, securing the Pokeballs in the curl of his tail as he dove underwater, easily outpacing the Mr. Mime as he stopped next to the Sudowoodo and Exeggcute. A flick of his tail had the two Pokemon transported to Chloe's PC, as he squared off against the Mr. Mime, which had turned his attention on Daimon, now that the two he had been chasing had vanished.

"Alright, this should be fairly easy!" Chloe called, moving to the bow of the ship so she could see the battle a bit more clearly. Daimon gave her a nod, smiling faintly. It was clear he had a much better upper hand while in the water.

"Use a Signal Beam first, that should get you well on your way to beating him!" Chloe called. The Kingdra nodded, diving underwater as he sped closer to the Mr. Mime.

A moment later, he resurfaced, a whirlpool emerging that drew the Mr. Mime in closer. A sudden flash of light indicating that his attack had started, Daimon shot the Signal Beam dead on, nearly causing the Mr. Mime to fall into the river.

The mime Pokemon recovered from the blast, a bit shakily, but he wasn't out of the fight yet. He fled towards the shallows, Daimon in pursuit, as he struck back with a Confusion, extending his hands as he released a barrage of psychic energy at Daimon.

Daimon wasn't that bothered by the blow. He shook off the remnants of the blast, diving underwater once more. Being a master of the tides came in handy, as suddenly a wall of water met the Mr. Mime's psychic walls he had been standing on. Daimon used a Hydro Pump, as the wall of water erupted, blasting the Mr. Mime backwards, back the short distance to the bank of the river.

Satisfied, Daimon returned to the side of the boat.

"Thanks! You did awesome," Chloe grinned. Daimon nodded, silent as always, before returning to his Pokeball.

It didn't take long, however, for the dangers Yoran had spoke of made themselves present. While the crew was tying down the sails, a shudder coursed through the ship, scattering sailors as they went tumbling, most cursing all the way.

Those who did manage to stay upright made their way to the railings, and it didn't take long for the problem to show itself, as the Wailmer rammed into the side of the ship, causing another coursing shudder to run through. Thankfully its hull was well-made, and there wasn't any threat of sinking, but wood creaked at each impact.

A Surskit dancing across the water immediately grabbed hold of the hull, skittering up to topside, spewing bubbles at any that it encountered. These bubbled popped, exploding upon impact, catching a few unwary sailors, sending them flying.

If that wasn't enough, the deck was suddenly shrouded in thick cloying darkness as a Smokescreen came into effect. The Horsea behind it snickered, knowing that the whole place was veritably pitch black.

Sparks flew as a deeper sea Pokemon made an appearance. The Lanturn sent a few electric bolts in challenge to those who dared cross its waters.

Cye rammed into the Wailmer, distracting it from the boat long enough so Brayden could finally get his footing back. Brayden grabbed hold of the railing, calling down to the Feraligatr.

"Use a Superpower!" he called, as Cye nodded, turning his attention back to his opponent. Cye dove under the mini-whale, before lifting it from the water. The Feraligatr growled with the effort, but he managed to slam the Wailord back down, knocking it off-balance.

The Wailord rolled back over, before blasting a high-powered jet of water from its blowhole. Brayden only gawked at the attack. Even with Cye's resistance to water based attacks, that one still gave one hell of a kick...

Cye sputtered, before growling at the whale, none too pleased at the jet of water. Brayden called down to his partner once again with his next orders.

"Uh... think you can manage an Earthquake while in the water?" he questioned, not really sure if it was possible. Cye considered it for a moment, before shrugging, might as well give it a shot.

Cye dove underwater, before jumping, landing on top of the whale, and dragging it under. Brayden wasn't sure if it worked or not, but a moment later, a tremor bubbled up from the surface as the two collided with the ocean floor.

The two surfaced a moment later, as the Wailmer rammed into Cye, using a Rollout. Cye merely scoffed at the blow, but Brayden knew he had to hurry this battle along, knowing that each time the Wailmer struck, it would do double damage.

"Another Superpower!" Brayden called to Cye, who nodded, before charging at the Wailmer, ramming into its side with as much force as he could muster.

The Wailmer was clearly worse for wear, as Brayden threw a Pokeball at the whale, mentally crossing his fingers as he watched the ball hit, drawing the whale inside. Cye scooped up the ball with his tail before it could sink, tossing it to Brayden with a flick of his tail.

"Thanks, buddy!" Brayden called back down to his partner, who gave a toothy grin as he nodded.

"Ferrral!"

Brayden managed to catch the Pokeball, watching for a moment as it struggled. He hoped he didn't end up with a 300lb whale on his hand if it broke free, but thankfully luck was on his side. The ball stilled a moment later and Brayden smiled. Well, that was one menace taken care of. He transported the Pokeball to his PC after that, trying to make his way through the smoke to the others.
