In my hometown... Things were bad... The community was not at all accepting, my family, my school, the community. I hear that things are slowly getting better now but that didn't help me. Where I am now, things are much better... But my confidence, and everything else... Is now gone. So how does that help?

Well, as should be expected, the male portion of my school loves lesbians, I don't know what ppl think of gays, and ppl at my school could care less if you're bi...

I live in West Virginia.. Yes we are treated like crap here too. Noone likes us and they make fun of us all the time, but I know who am and who I want to be so I just keep standing up for what I believe and if they don't like it then they'll just have to get ova it..

here in Florida (at least where i am) things arent as bad for lesbians/gays/bi's as in other places i've lived. at school, when i tell people im a lesbian, they're like "oh really? that's cool. what's it like?" etc. the only problem is with my parents. mom's supportive, though she doesnt like it, but dad hates me now.

There are gays, bis, and lesbians at my school. I've only heard of a few of them, I'm too scared to come out and say that I'm bi because most of the ones who have said it, are looked down upon and bullied really bad. It makes me angry because they are the same just like you except they have feelings for the same sex. Only my bestfriend knows that I'm Bi because she's like my sister and I've known her since the 7th grade.

I'll be in ninth grade next year. I'm from Georgia, which is one of the most narrow-minded places to be. I'm lucky because here people will make fun of you, but it doesn't present huge difficulty. Most people are all, "Oh. That girl? Yeah, she's gay. That's old news. Let's gossip about.." Yeah.

I live in West Palm, Florida and the school that I go to the students really don't mind because half of the population is Bisexuals, Lesbians and Gays. So we all get along just fine and have no problems. Except for one of our bus drivers always acts really rude to us. But other then that we have no problem with it.

So people freak out when they here that. but oh well they can get over it or talk to me about and I will set them straight. hahaha! anyway people here treat bi's, gays, lesbians with respect. Reason second largest gay (in a general term) population, only to San Francisco.
