Eternal Sailor Athene
HP: 72/100
Damage to the Blight monsters: 10 + 9 = 19 (Athene takes out all of his blight attackers)
Athene is using shielding magic to aid Alcor

Whilst it was hard to tell if Eleonora had heard him over the chaos of the fights, it seemed that someone had.

Alcor, another of his friends and Eleonora's twin

And of course the creepy figurine chose that particular moment to speak up in its even creepier wet voice because of course it did.

There wasn't time to actually think on the things words however, given that more of the figurines were already moving to take the place of the ones from before.

He swung out at them, just as he had with the previous ones before using the small breathing space that it afforded him to call on his magic.

"Blue Beads of Nazar – intensated!"

He was close enough to Alcor to send the ball of beads formed of magic towards the humanoid figures head in her direction, even as a part of him hoped that his magic wouldn't use now of all times to take on a mind of its own.

He followed after, eyes looking around to see if he could spot where Liryn had gotten into, a part of him still worried about the way that his mauvian friend had rushed off.

He'd almost reached Alcor when he heard Ida's voice ring out asking if either he or Liryn could help and saw her hand gesture in a direction, although he couldn't quite see what or who she was pointing to.

Shanyume
Super Sailor Scout Attack: Blue Beads of Nazar – intensated [defensive/ supportive]

Drawing on some of his energy, Athene’s magic takes the form of a more complex-looking glowing ball of ethereal, intangible-looking evil eye protector beads that Athene can then direct towards a target within reasonable throwing distance in his line of sight.

If the magic connects and the target has malevolent intentions towards either Athene or one of his allies, then the ball will separate into several spiritual evil eye protector beads that surround the target, trapping them within a stronger barrier of beads with a 1 metre radius.

A trapped target is not actually immobilised - they can still jump, block, or strike with their weapon - but they cannot leave the ring of beads while the magic is active and a corrupted being with the ability to teleport will no longer be able to teleport out of the ring of beads. The beads can be smashed from the outside however and smashing half the beads (about 24 to 30 beads) will break the barrier.

After 35 seconds the beads will glow briefly, before they shatter and disappear. The shattering beads may distract the target briefly [player’s choice], but will not cause any actual damage to the target.

Sailor Surtur, Senshi of Desolation
HP: 32/50
Damage to Source: 10 + 1 = 11

Surtur somewhat dramatically ducked out of the way of the flying Mercury symbol, but was grateful that the last of the creatures attacking him had been vanquished. Good, that meant they would just need to figure out the next course of action. And Beira seemed to have the best idea.

“Surtur, at your service,” he greeted them both, although there wasn’t much time for any further introduction. “I would be happy to share the horrors of the mist I’ve had to deal with, in the hopes that it will help educate and empower others to avoid it,” Surtur announced.

He was grateful for Rainier’s assistance, but he also picked up that attacking the source of these monsters would help get rid of them for good.

“Come, lend your power. We shall destroy this monstrosity in no time,” he said as he rushed forward with Beira to attack. But instead of his fists, he muttered his Senshi attack.

Quote:
Sailor Scout Attack: Forlorn Heart
Surtur’s target is hit with a heavy wave of depression and feelings of emptiness. Everything around them appears as though it has lost all color saturation, or has been covered in ash or dust from decay. There is no physical damage, but the attack can be disorienting and emotionally draining. It lasts for thirty (30) seconds and can be used three (3) times. It affects enemies within a ten foot radius around Surtur and the magic will follow him if he moves, but the effects end if the target moves out of the radius.

Dark Mirror Murikabushi
HP: 40 - 10 = 30 / 50
Physical Damage to Blights: Second d10 for this damage 5 + d10 - 5 = 7 Damage to Blights (One down, one at 3/5 HP, one at full HP).

Magic Damage to Source: First d10 for if he gets this off 10 + 1 - 5 = 6 damage.

As the Blight’s massive tentacles swept up to strike at him and Fang, only one word flashed through Reiki’s mind, albeit repeated several times at progressively increasing volume: <******** ******** ******** ******** ******** ******** ******** ******** FUUUUUUCK,

For all he wanted to rush in and help his friend, though, Reiki had his own problems to deal with. While the tentacle that came for him didn’t get him bound, like Fang’s had done, the long swipe down Reiki’s front knocked the wind right out of him. Dazed, he did his best to keep fighting—Destiny City clearly needed all hands on deck! He was a magical girl now, and someone had to power through hits like this so they wouldn’t come for anybody younger! This was important!—but the harder Reiki tried, the more difficult everything felt.

The more sluggish his movements felt.

The more it felt like a miracle that he got off any attacks at all, sending another burst of magic at the source, for all the good it would probably do.…and ********, even that piddly little tink! of an attack left Reiki feeling drained and worn down, like he’d be stuck without any magic whatsoever until at least tomorrow morning.

Ugh, he barely had enough energy to ask Kerberos and the Dark Mirror girl, “One of you……Fang? Help him, please?”

Corrupt Super Sailor Fulgurite, Senshi of Springs
HP: 69/75
Damage to Source: 14

He hadn't quite expected all three of his blighted attackers to leave him alone, and he let out a low, impressed whistle to Cryolite. Alright, he meant business! He hated these things too and--

Did he have to ask about Albite and tentacles?

Fulgurite shuddered as he took another swing. "Albite is ... an experience." That was certainly a word.

He wished Albite didn't like that youma form so much. Fulgurite had one, but--

Abzu, Page of Neptune
HP: 32/50
Damage to Monsters: 2/3 down, 1/3 at full

Oh! Someone had heard them!

Her signature felt strong and chaotic, but in a way that didn't feel quite like the Negaverse. She must have been like Ariadne, then. Dark Mirror. His experiences with the chaotic forces of the mirror had thus far been positive, and now she was helping heal a fellow knight-- "Thanks!"

If she was helping, she was more than welcome.

Honestly, it was a good question. How was there still more of these ******** things-- Hadn't he wrecked enough yet? Hadn't she? Hadn't they? It probably didn't help that it seemed to have some people wrapped up now-- "Think these will probably keep going until someone kills that thing or handles the whole ... draining problem." Chaos really couldn't keep its hands off people's energy, could it--

Abzu kicked at his again for good measure.

Iðavöllr Page of Polaris
HP: 29/50
Damage to the Blight monsters: 6 + 5 = 11 (Iðavöllr takes out her remaining blight attacker and also takes out Abzu's last blight attacker)

Iðavöllr gave the lavender-haired Page (Abzu) a small nod at his words, although it was perhaps somewhat distracted–

Although that was hardly surprising, given that she was distracted - because she was pretty sure that she'd heard that voice call out the name of her little cousin and their mutual talking cat friend.

Why was Athene here? And Liryn?

Athene at least was supposed to be well away from all of this working on some jewellery commissions for their shared shop, not...

Not dealing with humanoid figures or with creepy - well whatever that speaking thing was supposed to be,

Worry and frustration had her lashing out a little harder than before at both her remaining humanoid figurine and the one still menacing the lavender-haired Page (
Abzu).

Page Antisana of Pluto
HP: 38
Damage to Blight Monsters: 5 + 9 = 14 (taking out two of his own, and the last of Ele’s)

’We make a good team.’

Well, they would if Antisana was worth literally anything in a fight, but since he was only ever a liability to her, the page wasn’t sure exactly how much he agreed with Eleonora’s assertion. …But she seemed in an unusually playful mood for someone being swarmed by Chaos blobs, and he didn’t want to take that away from her, so he kept the negativity to himself, and responded instead with, “Anything beats being alone.” And certainly no one amid this madness was fighting alone.

He hooked up his previously discarded board with the toe of his boot and flicked it back up into his hands, using it to lay a surprisingly loud smack to the back of the last humanoid glob stalking after his friend.

“Should we find Alcor?” He invited quietly. He didn’t know where she’d run off to. Every so often, he thought he heard her voice among the crowd, but it was impossible to tell for certain, and he could hardly pick out anyone from the throng of bodies. Antisana could’ve been content to just watch out for himself and Ele, but the senshi must be worried for her meeker sibling…

Basiluzzo, Squire of Uranus
HP: 75-10=65/75
Damage to Blight Monsters: 12 -- B1: 0/5, B2: 0/5, B3: 3/5 (-5 DMG)
Second Stage characters and Sailor Cats should roll 8+1d10 for physical damage (min 9 damage, max 1 cool

It seemed like things were only going from bad to worse, and getting wrapped up in the monster's appendages wasn't really helping matters. The fact that more gooey shadows turned their sights on him made Basiluzzo invent new, creative swear words as he lashed out as much as he could at the monsters nearby him. Two of them fell, but he didn't like the look of the third.

Sailor Ran
HP: 50-10=40/50
Damage to Blight Monsters: 6 -- B1: 0/5, B2: 4/5, B3: 5/5 (-5 DMG)
First Stage characters and Cats in Human Form should roll 5+1d10 for physical damage. (min 6 damage, max 15)

Ran was similarly distracted, though it was small comfort that it wasn't just him. Unfortunately, his reach was severely restricted by the monster. Only one of the smaller, more normal--for a given definition of normal--monsters had gone down, and the other two were eyeing him closely.
------------------------

Imhotep, Page of Mercury
HP: 50
Damage to Blight Monsters: 12 -- B1: 0/5, B2: 0/5, B3: 3/5
First Stage characters and Cats in Human Form should roll 5+1d10 for physical damage. (min 6 damage, max 15)

Imhotep didn't like this, didn't appreciate this, didn't approve of the new form the monster had taken, and was willing to bet it meant nothing good. He swung at the monsters around him, but one remained.

Tikal, Page of Ganymede
HP: 40-10=30/50

First Stage characters and Cats in Human Form should roll 5+1d10 for physical damage. (min 6 damage, max 15)

Tikal would have been able to take out all of the newest clingers-on, if not for the way she found herself wrapped up by the big bad itself. Or, at least, what she presumed was the big bad. It certainly commanded the presence for it--

Transcended Eternal Sailor Encke, Senshi of Plasma
HP: 90/100
Damage to Monsters: 17 - 5 = 12, 2 ded, 3/5 on remaining

No, no, no--

Encke pulled back into himself for a moment, trying to extract himself from the instinctual panic that welled up at being trapped and wrapped up again. His mind brought him back onto the table on Astraya, his mind brought him back to the burrowing into his chest and the destruction that followed, and his chest throbbed.

But he reached, and this time he felt that he wasn't away, that if he had his phone out he could go--

And he thrashed.

Viatrix, Mauvian (Humanoid)
HP: 65/75
Damage to Monsters: 11 - 5 = 6, 1 ded, 4/5, 5/5

Viatrix was small even in a humanoid form and as a consequence, was relatively easy to wrap up. She felt the exhaustion hit before she even registered the thing was talking, and she both snarled and yawned all at once.

The exhaustion was distracting and she didn't do much.

-------------

Promethei, Page of Mercury
HP: 50/50
Damage to Monsters: 2 ded, 3/5 on remaining

"Great, it's monologuing." Promethei's voice was dripping with sarcasm and the faintest bit of malice. When would these things ******** stop? "I get that it's all prideful it's distracting us, but I swear I'm gonna kick it's a**."

He would if he could, anyway.

Basiluzzo, Squire of Uranus
HP: 75-10=65/75
Damage to Blight Monsters: 7 -- B1: 0/5, B2: 0/5, B3: 0/5 (-5 DMG) (+4 leftover to Ran's monsters)
Second Stage characters and Sailor Cats should roll 8+1d10 for physical damage (min 9 damage, max 1 cool

Being restrained wasn't making it any easier, but Basiluzzo was at least able to take care of the three newest monsters to make their way up to him, with a bit of his swing arcing towards the monsters plaguing Ran.

Sailor Ran
HP: 50-10=40/50
Damage to Blight Monsters: 1 (+4 from Basiluzzo)-- B1: 0/5, B2: 0/5, B3: 4/5 (-5 DMG)
First Stage characters and Cats in Human Form should roll 5+1d10 for physical damage. (min 6 damage, max 15)

Ran was grateful for the assist. Whether it was the general atmosphere or being restrained itself, something caused Ran's kicking to amount to nothing more than a glancing blow on their own. Basiluzzo was able to take out one of the monsters in front of Ran, however, and so he was left staring at just one.
------------------------

Imhotep, Page of Mercury
HP: 50
Damage to Blight Monsters: 9 -- B1: 0/5, B2: 0/5, B3: 0/5 (+6 remaining to Promethei's last monster)
First Stage characters and Cats in Human Form should roll 5+1d10 for physical damage. (min 6 damage, max 15)

Imhotep was having none of this. Hissing under his breath, he tried again, taking down the last one in front of him. For good measure, he didn't stop the arc of his foot mid-kick, and so it managed to connect with Promethei's adversary.
------------------------

Tikal, Page of Ganymede
HP: 40-10=30/50
Damage to Blight Monsters: 7 -- B1: 0/5, B2: 0/5, B3: 0/5 (-5 DMG) (+2 extra to anyone nearby who needs it)
First Stage characters and Cats in Human Form should roll 5+1d10 for physical damage. (min 6 damage, max 15)

She was over this. She was beyond over this. Every time she tried to get any closer to the biggest of the bads, something got in her way. With a grunt, she cleared the last one out of her way with enough gusto that her arm carried through to someone else's monster next to her.

Transcended Eternal Sailor Encke, Senshi of Plasma
HP: 90/100
Damage to Monsters: 16 - 5 = 11, all ded (+8 potential if anyone else trapped needs an assist)

Encke was usually fairly good at keeping an apparent cool, but being trapped like this tended to bring out a more feral side as he shoved and acted against it or anything surrounding him. He thrashed without necessarily paying attention, but it was getting him somewhere.

Viatrix, Mauvian (Humanoid)
HP: 65/75
Damage to Monsters: 18 - 5 = 13, all ded, helping Ran finish his off with the remaining 4

This sucked, and she was tempted to wallow in it until she remembered she was not the only one suffering this draining. She remembered one of her charges nearby: Ran, who seemed to be having the worst luck. No. Viatrix couldn't let him be hurt any more than he already was.

That was what helped her power through enough despite the draining to shove the monsters away from herself and Ran.

-------------

Promethei, Page of Mercury
HP: 50/50
Damage to Source: 10

"Like I said," Promethei smirked, "you're hot when you're angry. Or defending me. Or anything, really."

Well, with none of those grit mockeries left...

He didn't want to get stuck in the tendril mess -- not his thing -- but he was quickly recognizing that they might not actually ever get away from this without attacking the tendril mess. He did his best to keep a distance, but Promethei tried to make his mark anyway.

Plus, he wanted to kick its a**.

Well, if the blaster fire wasn't cutting through the slime monsters as quickly as Yddagen would have liked, it was less risky with Neryn so close for Yddagen to resort to martial methods. And so he did, apologizing quicky to Neryn for having to step to the side abruptly.

It did get rid of the last of the monsters immediately in front of Yddagen, and he was able to transfer the momentum to the monsters in front of Neryn.
