Being picked up and carried into the heat of battle, at the very center of it all, was not...really what Ariadne had expected her magic to inspire Scylla to do. But maybe it was for the best--with her in the middle of the action, it meant that she was another set of hands to help evacuate the small children to safety.
Scylla's daughters.
Well, that was certainly a reason for her to rage.
She yelped as Jet's blade swung for her and Scylla, stumbling back--at least she wasn't in its direct path. She could move to Acubens and Tegmine and the chibis, and she did, putting herself between them and Jet.
"What the ******** is wrong with you!" She shouted at the General. "Selfish Negaverse <********> not concerned with anyone but yourselves!"
The fire whirling around, and the massive dragon youma snapping at the tentacles, made her heart race.
So she moved closer to the little group protecting the kids, and looked from Tegmine to the Page.
"I have magic that might make people calm down," she said, "so let's go." She put a gentle hand on the parkly gold Chibi (Ara)'s shoulder, tugging her along. "We'll all get out of here. That poor Squire too--look how many people are around her?"
Paradise smiled up at Empyrean with gratitude for his assistance. She was fine, but she liked the excuse of having her husband keep an arm around her. He never tried to make her do anything she didn’t want to, and was always encouraging, but she happened to enjoy it a lot when he was protective.
Of course, that meant she had to keep her cheering to herself, but she snuck what was hopefully an encouraging thumbs up at Anser.
At least until she could feel the youma.
“Oh no, that’s not good,” she frowned and looked around, trying to find something she could use for a weapon, or at least somewhere that they could hide. Not that the youma wouldn’t be able to sense their starseeds. But since she couldn’t immediately find a weapon, she reached down to slip off one of her shoes. Sure it was a little muddy from the rain, but that was fine!
Captain Atheneite was in the middle of stalking a new target for draining when the call for help came in. She looked in the direction of the battlefield it was clear to her aura senses that there were already plenty of fighters there both Order and Chaos. She thought about the situation and weighed her options, it wasn't Painite calling her nor was it a General Sovereign so she wasn't particularly invested in answering it. So she instead focused back on her target figuring she could head there once she was finished.
She made quick work of draining the unfortunate man dry, she banished the ball of energy she had collected back to subspace. Before she looked down at the, man. It wouldn't be a bad idea to take a starseed with her to the battle just in case she ran into any sort of trouble. Reaching into the unconscious man's chest she plucked the little crystal that was effectively the man's soul as though it was nothing.
She decided to save her energy and just run towards the battlefield. Thankfully it didn't seem like her delay had caused her to miss the big the fight. By the time she arrived the whole scene was chaos, it got Atheneite's blood flowing with excitement. But even with the all the excitement she didn't know where to start, so many were already engaged in battle.
That was when her eyes landed on a group a Lieutenant, a Senshi, and a very familiar Page. A Page that by all accounts should be dead, dead by Atheneite's own hand. It made her angry, furious over her own unfinished job. Well she would correct that tonight.
She teleported behind the Page her spear ready before she could even react. She drove the bronze spear head through her back and out her chest. The blade was covered in a wonderful sheen of gore. "Hello princess remember me." She whispered in the Page's ear.
Then her attention turned to the Lieutenant who didn't seem to be fighting. "You Lieutenant, kill that Senshi right now!" She ordered asserting her rank as she held the Page impaled on her spear.

General Ashanite — C3
Ashanite inhaled. Razikale was doing her job, biting and clawing at the tentacle that had hoisted Liefite, but she was still in the air. And Wavellite was unconscious. And no. That was more than enough.
"Another time, Hype," he said, and then he paused, and gave her a grin. "And you sohuld know: last time we were all here? I lied."
Then, he teleported away, first to Wavellite to scoop up her unconscious form, and then to the base of the tentacle holding Leifite up.
"Razikale!" He called her name, and she stopped, and he carefully laid Wave on her back, between spikes. "Get them out of here."
He slashed at the tentacle, and as his blade contacted, it hurled Leifite at him--which was good, because it meant he could square his stance, dismiss his weapon, and catch her.
"Liefite," he said, and his voice was soft, and fill of concern, "take Wavellite. Get on Razikale, and she'll carry you both off to safety. Jet, Faustite, and I can handle the rest." He gave her a wry grin. "I'm trusting you, Leif. To keep yourself and Wave safe."
There was far, far too much of a ******** going on here, and he was getting his subordinates out. Especially if Faustite was going to start lighting things up.
"Faustite! The other General was close enough to hear, so he called out verbally, not bothering with the communicator. "Can you try and cut off their escape with fire?"
It was a wet, miserable sound, and blood came up with her breath.
She hadn't even noticed the Captain coming up behind her--maybe if she had, she would have been able to react. But she didn't. She hadn't.
And now there was a spear through her chest.
At some part of the back of her brain, a quirky little line echoed -- 'look at that, I've been impaled.' Fortunately, she managed not to say that.
Instead, she inhaled, and spat blood at the Captain who had nearly killed her once and now, it seemed, had finished the job. <******** you," she gasped.
As her vision began to fade, pain and blood loss hauling her towards unconsciousness, she caught a glimpse of a familiar form--a black beast, in the shape of a kirin, charging across the battlefield towards her.
'Sorry, Kiyo.' She thought, briefly. 'Guess I won't get the chance to be your Captain after all.'

Super Anser [Square ********," muttered Anser, in response to Empyrean, glancing in the direction of the chaos around the fountain. She could feel it too, the encroach of the youma auras on top of the general auras and the knight and senshi auras and whatever else was mixed up in that mess. Her gaze hardened, and she braced herself as whipped her head around to stare harder at Cymophane who apparently didn't know how to shut up.
Paradise's thumbs-up was encouraging, and she shot the faintest bit of a grin back before turning to Cymophane.
"Is diplomacy just talking a bunch of bullshit?" Anser didn't care, actually, as it turned out-- "Whatever, just stand there then, but I'm done lis--" her gaze snapped to Cybele.
The words of her old patrol partner would pull her right away.
She found herself between a rock and a hard place -- didn't want to abandon the new pages with the bullshitting senshi, but absolutely didn't want to leave Cybele to fight for herself. She felt the words of Cybele's boost and the magic rush through her, and she realized one of the arrows fell on Empyrean too as a smirk grew on her face.
Well.
Maybe there was a way to get both.
Saying nothing in response to Cybele directly, she nodded firmly and charged at a blazing speed, using the combined speed boosts she was afforded as a chibi senshi and through Cybele's attack. She ran straight for Albite and his tattoos, murmuring a "Mothers Geese," once more before smashing directly into his body with the intent to knock him off-balance and down -- toward Cymophane, preferably to take them both out, but just on the ground was also fine.
Quote:
Super Sailor Scout Attack:"Mothers Geese!" Geese are known for being great guards. Anser says her attack name and a couple ethereal goslings appear in front of her, honking. After the gosling honks out its warning, Anser and other allies within a five foot radius find that their reflexes are enhanced, allowing them to either better fight back physically or put some distance between themselves and whatever danger there may be. (Usage: Twice per battle Duration: 20 seconds Range: 5ft)
Hyperborea looked to Caer who had been grabbed by Whisler of all people, and for reasons she couldn't even begin to fathom he was threatening her. Also her wisps had all been popped by one seemingly suicidal Captain who passed out from the backlash. Things were getting messy. Two Generals were in pursuit. Several Dark Mirror senshi were getting involved. Syclla was unleashing her might upon the would be attacks of apparently her daughters, the two Chibis who had come to their aid. That thought almost ticked a box in Hyperborea's head but she put that thought to the side as she instead focused on Caer, the person more than anyone else she couldn't live without not after they had just admitted their love for one another.
She was more than happy to break off her brawl with Ashanite as he ran to his subordinates. His parting words did give her pause. 'I lied' It sent a shiver down her spine but she put thoughts of it and its implications to the back of her mind she could anguish over it later for now she had to focus on Caer. She was separated from Whisler by a tentacle. She had no time for him, later she would find out what his deal was and he had better have a damn good reason for threatening her girlfriend. Hyperborea ran to the Cosmos Squire scooping her up in a princess carry, an easy feat given her immense strength.
"Are you hurt? This is getting insane we need to stick together and go help out Scylla and the Chibis." She told the girl as she ran towards the two generals. She summoned her staff "Close your eyes." She warned in a whisper. She hoped her allies would have the good sense to close their eyes as well as she unleashed her magic full force on the general. She raised the glowing silver star atop her staff into air sending an explosion of burning and blinding light towards the half youma and the man. She didn't let it linger long just enough to make it hurt, maybe 30 seconds.
She set Caer on her feet. "Watch my back, we'll get through this together.!" She said as she took a swing at the the still human general with her staff. "Scylla take out the half youma, I've got the other one. Acubens and you other Dark mirrors protect the kids!" She called out to the older senshis.
Knight Spell
She holds up her staff as the head glows silver. It creates a bright explosion of silver starlight with Hyperborea at the center. It blinds and disorientates everyone else caught in the blast with their eyes open. It causes a great burning pain in her enemies and can at player discretion leave a sunburn like wound on people.
Channeling time: 60 secs. AOE: 10 ft (For the purposes of burning effect of this attack only the officers are considered her enemies)

Lt. Leifite - C3 - Exiting w/Wavellite on a Dragon
She landed in Ashanite's arms and hoisted herself onto the back of the dragon, crouching protectively over Wavellite. "I won't let you down, General. Get out of this safely," she replied, holding onto the spikes around her.
Leifite would get them out of here, no matter what.
"Razikale, as your master commanded, get us out of here!" she said to the dragon.
Super Sailor Ara, Chibi Senshi of Illumination - Exit
Ara got up from trying to wrestle the Lieutenant. This were going crazy fast, not that they weren't already but it was too much for Ara's young mind to keep up with. She did note Charybdis screaming for Jada, not for Syclla but for her mother/sister to help them. Ara was a little relieved for that as two Generals were now after them. Then the Squire they were trying to help escape was pulled away by some force. Then a group Dark Mirrors showed up including miss Acubens. Then there was a Page trying to help her and the Dark Mirrors were also trying to help and there seemed to be another super coming there way too. The transcended Knight and the General who had started all this broke off there fight as well to double back into this melee. And to top everything off Charybdis, her best friend was crying.
Ara felt like a failure. She couldn't protect the squire, she couldn't even protect herself and to top it all off she had failed her best friend. She was older she had awoken first and been promoted first she was supposed to be the protector. She gave Charybdis a hug. "Look the Knight has the Squire, she'll keep her safe. But we have to go." She said tired confused and a bit bruised up. Then the knight activated her magic. Ara hid her eyes in Charybdis' shoulder and she pull her friend's head down to her own shoulder to do the same. When it ended She let go of Charybdis.
"Let go!" She nodded to the Page and to the Dark Mirrors "Lets get out of here, but first." She looked back to the Officers engaged in fights with the older and more powerful Senshi and Knights assembled. "One last Parting Shot. Infinite Light Parade!" She called out sending the last of her lights out to strike the officers still fighting, hoping it would make even a slight difference. She would have to fall back on her basic magic now.
Super Sailor Scout Attack: Infinite Light Parade
Six motes of light appear in the air behind Ara and fire toward her opponent(s). The blasts of light knocks an opponent back and blinds them and can at the other player's discretion leave a cut and burn where the light hits them (As a chibi the cut and the burn are minor). Time (blinded):25 seconds Uses: 3 Range: up to 7 feet (chibi)

Knight WhislerC-3 --> space At first, Whisler hadn’t realized he had been hit with an attack, at least he hadn’t realized until his vision began to darken, and for a moment, he was confused, and not a little bit startled, wondering if something had happened and he was suddenly going blind.
Was that something that could happen? He didn’t want to go blind...that...would be...yeah. No.
When the wave of burning came along with the darkness, it centered him slightly. Magic. This was simply magic of some sort, and hopefully the blindness wouldn’t last. Hopefully.
The knight blinked rapidly, and could feel that the Squire was no longer behind him. No longer being protected by his magic, and god damn. If she was going to join Ashanite...he. Couldn’t.
He simply couldn’t.
Rage began to boil up within Whisler and he let out a roar of frustration, his blurry vision landing on a black clad someone. Long hair. A corrupt, most likely.
A hostage. Most definitely. He wouldn’t be attacked if he had a meat sheild of his own, at least, he doubted he would.
Swinging his weapon again, Whisler drew the corrupt towards him and grabbed her swiftly, swinging her right over his shoulder as though she were a sack of potatoes, and then...he <******** this. ******** Ashanite. ******** that Squire. He was going to go up to his homeworld. Teach this...whoever a lesson...and then go home. Snuggle Arias and sleep.
He might not be in the Negaverse any longer, and might not be able to teleport, but he could still escape, and once the sounds and feelings of fighting had ended, he murmured the words that would take him and his hostage there.
Arsenolite had been about to respond playfully to Houshi, a small smirk on his face as he opened his mouth to tease and flirt.
Then her blood splattered on his chest and his eyes widened in horror, flicking to the Captain's face.
"You... what? No! Houshi!" he shouted desperately, grabbing her hand. But he saw her eyes slide shut, and he let out a strangled sound. No.
Læraðr had been slow to react to everything happening around him after his stupid crash. The Page being stabbed kickstarted something in his brain and he scrambled to his feet, grabbing his baton and swinging it at the Captain with a feral scream.

Lt. Turquoise - G4
Turquoise had been quietly examining the area, looking for an opportunity where she could be the most useful. There was a small group fighting each other on the edge of the park. Maybe they would need help?
She was just about to go closer and look for a good target to throw her porcelain saucer at but…. suddenly there were lilac petals floating around her in a wind like in some kind of nostalgic scene. And she heard a voice behind her.
'Turquoise.'
Wait, what?
It was a voice she had thought she would never hear again. "B-Buddy?" Startled, the lieutenant turned around… only to meet disappointment. Behind her was not General Buddingtonite, her general. It was not him in his civilian attire either. Turquoise felt her chest aching, her eyes burning, her body trembling. For years she had pushed those memories away. It was true she had left because her one-sided crush had started to cause her some distress and some of Buddy's actions had made her a bit suspicious of him… But still, despite how much she tried to convince herself she was fine and over him.. she wasn't.
She still missed Buddy, deeply even. When she was in public environment, she managed to control herself. She had something else to focus on then... But when she was alone.. Only then she had allowed her feelings to surface. Only then, she allowed herself to cry... Maybe it was the fact during her time in China Buddy had disappeared. Or left. She hadn't got an answer to the question of where he was. Not that it mattered in the end (as long he was alive). But she hadn't got closure. It was harder to move on when there was no closure...
For some time, she embraced those hidden feelings, those forgotten memories. She even allowed her feelings to surface. She remembered those sweet years back then. She had always been Buddy's warrior princess. She had been always willing to fight for him, to make him proud.... Yes, she still was all that. She still was Buddy's warrior princess. And this, this was senshi magic. Buddy, wherever you are, watch me. I'm going to make you proud again. She will pay for humiliating me like this!
Lieutenant Turquoise summoned her porcelain saucers. With new determination, she swung one of her saucers to the direction she had heard the attack coming from.
Lacerta (DMS Super of Bandages) - Engaging people in C3
She wasn't about to leave yet. Not when Acubens had rushed into the fray after Scylla and the dark mirror that had been attached to Scylla's side. Shaking off the effects of the strike from the whip Lacerta glanced to the melee at the fountain before wincing. Already this idea was not going to sit well with her adopted family but leaving those to fend for themselves in a s**t-storm was not proving loyalty to her court. She had to make sure that everyone got out as safely as possible and for those that needed it, she could provide the assistance afterwards.
Running towards the battle Lacerta briefly toyed with the idea of bringing out her mirror shard and attempting to at least slow everyone down but dismissed the logic as whimsy. It'd not do well to antagonise either side. No the best idea would be to provide cover for those trying to get away. It was that thought that had Lacerta pushing into the fray with a new plan. If she could make it seem like those fighting where hitting something much less malleable than flesh than maybe something good would come of it. She spotted Tegmine protecting a chibi senshi and she planted herself in front of her fellow dark moon senshi, "get the kid out if you can. I'll cover your escape route."
That being said Lacerta activated her ring's magic. She'd take blows for the next five seconds or so but those striking her would come off worse for wear.
Activating this magic
Lacerta is now in posession of the Stone Ring!
The stone in this ring is a glistening, ash gray and the ring grants the durablity of Stone. When the ring is equipped, the wearer can be in any form and will have the passive ability to strengthen durability against natural, everyday injuries. You are almost always spared damage from things like papercuts, light bruising from every day tasks or mishaps, or toe stubs; you aren't protected against any magical damage or any major damage, though, so be careful! Its true power shines while in powered form, though! By pressing the stone of the ring into the palm of the wearer's hand, they are able to increase their denseness. They will still feel the normal level of pain from a strike but the attacker will feel like they are hitting something twice as dense as normal when the ring is activated. The increased density only lasts for five seconds at a time and requires a thirty second recharge before it can be used again, though there is no limit to the number of uses it has.

If I quoted you and you aren't in C3 by the time I post - I apologize
Well. That sure was a lot happening. His eyes snapped to Faustite, who apparently could set s**t on fire.
"Not on my watch, buddy," he muttered, charging over to the group of officers.
"QUILL BURST!" he shouted at the top of his lungs as he approached.
Quote:
Super Sailor Scout Attack: Quill Burst
Sailor Monoceros leaps up to the bad guy, getting close, before letting loose a burst of quills from his entire body. (Allies beware!) The Burst is less aim-controlled than the Flash, but more intense. These quills will likely puncture more deeply from being close up and attempts to remove the quills before disappearance will cause a sharp, hot pain where the quill is pinned, and a more dull ache in the surrounding area, making the muscles more sore. A user can choose to have this attack cause permanent damage or the injury will fade when the magic expires. This attack will last about 30 seconds and can be used twice per battle.
Ransomite pushed himself up off of the ground, wishing he could have shown off to the others just how quickly he could move when he had to--
Focus. Right.
He buried the snort as he watched the Neptune page eat s**t on the concrete. He'd ask if he was alright, but they were in a battle and all. He did, however, slow down just enough that he wouldn't catch up and bowl him over.
Basiluzzo wasted no time hoisting the kid up from the ground--careful not to hurt her, obviously--as soon as he was given the all-clear. She was not exactly a kindergartner, so Basiluzzo was grateful for his height as he hooked one arm under hers and the other under her knees. "Hold on tight." He caught the response from the Dark Mirror senshi and decided that was just going to have to be good enough. An indicating jerk of his head to the side and a glance toward Scylla, and Basiluzzo booked it away from what was rapidly becoming a cluster of ******** class="quote">
Phaethon was suddenly aware that someone was hurtling toward him. He was empty-handed and thus unarmed, but he whirled to meet whoever it was coming at him anyway. He was able to see Nembus, was able to process--with some delay--what she was mouthing to him, but then she was suddenly gone. Phaethon was left blinking at the space she'd been in, his hands still raised defensively.
A heartbeat later, he looked around for her, trying to find where she'd gone, only to see her over in the mess of people by the fountain.
...And then she was-- Wait! No! Phaethon bolted in the direction the knight carrying Nembus had gone.
