 Zaire entered the stadium with little interest in the remaining events to be honest the monster was tired. It was a chore to get him along this far. When the area darkened his eyes let out that lovely blue glow and the boil waited to see what was next. A spotlight revealed himself and Zaire blinked, "nice...sweater.." So this was it? Himself. At least the Christmas creeple had enough tact not to use something like their families or lovers. Because had they well Zaire knew already there was no way he could really fight Jory. Hell even when he was 'training him' he had went weaker than need be so he was sure he didn't hurt the other monster. The good thing in all of this though was at least he knew his own weaknesses. The monster rushed the other giving a firm elbow to the stomach. The look alike taking it hard and the man doubling over before coming back after him. Zaire took a hit and countered with swinging out his tail to trip up the look alike. Things were starting to get interesting at least but for how long. The doppelganger struck back and Zaire stumbled a bit before catching himself cursing a little under breath for having even been caught by the thing. Was he really that slow in battle? A part of the monster winced when realizing this, but then again at the back of his mind Zaire already knew he wasn't the fastest moving creature in the slightest. It wasn't long before he was in a full on battle with himself a decent battle at that. There was a strange tingle that had happened towards the beginning but Zaire didn't think much on it once it had stopped. As a fist hit the look like it bounced away from the monsters grasp which only frustrated Zaire since that meant a chase. But he gave in and started to follow the doppelganger nails slashing out and trying to rip that ugly sweater into ribbons. The thing was ridiculous and Zaire thanked Jack Jory so far wasn't the type that wanted to have matching outfits, or worse the type that bought him clothing as gifts since it meant he wasn't obligated to wear them. It was a good stress relief to kick his own a** and besides a part of him was happy to do it considering his a** needed some kicking. After what he did to Jory, the likes of which he hadn't exactly forgiven himself for even after they had made up. Yeah he needed a good a** kicking. Though Zaire was slowly coming out of the self pity stage that had developed due to the whole cheating fight. A part of him still really wished that Jory had hit him at least once. Zaire was a lazy creature by nature so the more he fought himself the more annoyed he got. Finally with a bit of effort he managed to get off a fear attack sending himself flying back with a swing of tail hard to the chest. The doppelganger fell with a thud to the stadium floor and disintegrated in a puff of black smoke. For a second Zaire wasn't sure what to do so the monster stood awkwardly before noticing the set of stairs. A climb later and the participation medal was found. The item picked up and strung around neck before he was taking off. Intent on finding Jory and making sure he had gotten out of this particular challenge ok. He hoped the other was in a better mood than he had been after the quiz, Zaire felt a little guilty for missing that but couldn't have been helped.
