Yes, not only were the pokemon around here rather suited for Deys' typing, but apparently there was not very much variety, either. Meebus looked over as yet another Garbodor made its appearance, shaking his head a bit. "Perhaps I--" Meebus began, but was cut off as Deys lashed out at the pokemon. The icy wind billowed around the area, and as it faded, even Totodile could see frozen in place, chilled to the bone. It seemed the more he battled, the more ramped up Deys became... Meebus turned his gaze away as Deysatnik finished off the opponent, surveying the area. Perhaps it would be a good idea to begin heading back soon...

Then again, come to think of it... It looked like they were missing someone. Rufflet seemed to have disappeared from where he was soaring up above. The ghost pokemon gazed about, tilting up to try and search the skies, but he still didn't see any sign of the pokemon. Looking to the shrubbery, figuring perhaps Rufflet had began looking for a battle of his own, he noticed some rustling branches. Scooting a little closer, he relaxed as a Rufflet appeared-- but blinked as he realized it was not their fellow companion. Deys, who had also looked over, seemed to realize this as well, and before Meebus could even start a spark, darted over, quickly wiping the pokemon out, and taking only a little damage in return. Both looked over, ready, as another bird appeared-- but this time stopped as they recognized it as their new teammate, the bird staring with a dull gaze, an odd device in its beak. An odd... familiar device...

As Rufflet situated the Exp Share device on his head, he seemed quite content ignoring the stares of his teammates. In fact, once it was situated, he fluttered back up into the sky. Meebus looked at him a moment, then turned, hearing the sound of encroaching footsteps-- as opposed to the sound of a wild pokemon. Of course, there was that too, as a Minccino came bounding out, but Meebus focus was directed towards the trainers. Indeed, as he seemed to assume, Zak was among them, leading the way with Lidia, and a brooding Chris, close behind. While Totodile eager chased after the wild pokemon, Meebus floated over to greet Zak, and Deys, once he was sure Totodile had taken down the opponent, joined, with Rufflet fluttering down nearby. Zak's focus was primarily on Meebus and Deys, however.
"You two had better been training," he started, placing a hand on his hip, "Because ve're goeng to be leaving. Zere's been a videspread order to go and find some... shards for Emperium. Ve'll be going vis Lidia to try and find zem." He maintained eye contact with the two while he spoke, but his gaze drifted as he finished, narrowing in on Rufflet, one eyebrow raising as the other eye narrowed at the device the pokemon was wearing. Well... that looked familiar...
Lifting his gaze back up, he started pulling some of his pokeballs up. "Eet's not unlikely zat ve'll encounter some fellow operateeves who may vish to... compete, so ve may steel train, but I vill be svitching ze team up to begin traineng some of ze uzzer pokemon. Meebus... You and Totodile steel seem to need some experience. Ve'll go to ze first pokecenter, zen you two vill be heading any battling ve need to do," he instructed, moving to switch in a few of his weaker pokemon, and out his stronger ones. Shifting his gaze to Deys, he gave a nod. "Deys, you vill be takeng a break vis ze uzzers," he added.
The Empoleon gave an obedient nod, and Zak moved to recall Totodile, allowing Rufflet to remain out. He gave one more look at Meebus, before recalling him as well, and turning to Lidia as she released her Salamence. It was too bad that thing didn't come with it's own internet...

Rose was excitedly looking around as Auriel flew over new lands. There were so many places she wanted to go down and see! Fynx wouldn't let her though. The Delphox only wanted Rose to have a taste of each region, first. Then she'd try to redirect the red head to training against gyms. It'd probably be more exciting for her anyways if she was doing the gym challenges to explore regions. For now though, it was just for fun and to experience flying. "Oh oh! What's that place? I wanna go there!" Rose exclaimed as they flew over what seemed to be an amusement park. "I think that's Nimbasa City... Sorry Rose, we can go there another time." Fynx stated, receiving a pout. Auriel finally touched down in Opelucid, dipping his beak in the nearest water fountain after Rose dismounted.

While Rose was busy looking around the city, Fynx managed to slip the giratina ball into Rose's bag and move the totodile to her active party. The fox was pretty good at managing Rose's team without raising questions. Auriel was enjoying the fountain, and Rose finally went to sit at the edge of the structure. She pulled out her holocaster, noticing she had a message. It was from Marx! Seeing it made her realize just how long it has been since she's heard from him, and felt a bit bad about not trying to text him at all! Then, she felt like she should probably check in on her other friends soon, too.
Rose read the text, and tilted her head. Oh! That's right. She had given Marx Felix to help him out like he had helped her. It seemed like Marx might not need him anymore. The red head wasn't sure how to feel about that, but she admittedly missed the psychic/fairy. While sitting, she worked on a reply and sent it out to Marx, then pondered about what to say to her other friends.

"He said he isn't feeling 'peckish' yet..." Fynx relayed Auriel's reply, with a slightly unamused snort. Rose giggled at the pun, scratching under the bird's chin. "Hehehe~ I guess that means we are ready to go fly again?" Rose asked, then looked to Fynx. The Delphox nodded, and they got ready to fly again. As Rose mounted the shiny mega altaria, her holocaster went off again. It was a reply from Marx! She read the response and seemed quite surprised. "Oh my gosh! A Renaissance fair?!? I wanna go!!!" Rose exclaimed, though she wasn't quite sure what kind of fair that was. Maybe it was something she heard about in a history class? Isis jerked back, pulling on Nocturne's fur with her, which made the dragon give an unhappy hiss. "S-sorry Noc.... It was an accident, I was just surprised... " Isis insisted soothingly, gently stoking her scales as an apology. Nocturne seemed to accept then and resumed flying forward to catch up with Zero and Ashen. "A shiny Zorua? Zero, do you really want another Yang on your hands? I mean, yeah, this one's personality could be different, but I'm willing to bet that Yang will probably try to corrupt them, regardless of what they're like..." Isis frowned. Yang was a handful on his own, she couldn't imagine the kind of trouble that two Yang's could get into.
Isis was briefly distracted however as she saw their destination coming up in the distance however, and began directing Nocturne downwards. "This is the place!" She called out to Zero so he was aware that it was time to descend. Eventually they touched down and got settled on the ground, Nocturne this time choosing to remain grounded for the time being. "Opelucid City is so interesting. The buildings are so etherial, high tech but still in tune with the nature around it." She praised the aesthetic and took a picture of the city, then another one of Zero looking around next to Ashen. ✿ ❀

Zero blinked a few times as Isis jerked, Ashen having to stop so he didn't fly too far ahead of them. After they recovered though, the pair resumed flight as normal. "I think it'll be fine, Isis," he tried to reassure her. "I haven't had a chance to really figure this one out, but a Zorua won't be automatically bad. Remember Machina's?" The image of his friend's heterochromic Zorua flashed in his mind for a moment, though he couldn't remember if the blonde had ever seen Zeta in her normal form, or if it was only as the raincoat-clad child she saw her. Regardless, he did share her worries. "I'll admit, I won't say I'm not a little concerned about the possibility, but hey, I'd like to at least give it a chance." He simply shrugged, but before long their destination came into view.
His interest seemed to peak as they descended, Zero taking a good, long look at his surroundings as they hopped off their fliers. The mix between ancient architecture and the modern technology that was integrated with it was certainly an interesting sight. "It certainly looks pretty nice. I like the mixed ancient and modern architecture that this place has."

"Don't worry," He tried to reassure Isis. "It's a valid concern by all means, I'm just... Being optimistic about at least one thing." Soon after that they finally arrived at their destination, landing right in the thick of the interesting city. They both took a moment to take in the sights, Zero slightly marveling at the blend, before Isis suddenly interjected again. Pointing out that the clerk specified that the Zorua was shiny, the blonde readied her camera as she suggested they meet the new addition. "Oh, yeah, that'd probably be a good idea."
Unhooking the ball from his belt, Zero clicked the ball so it enlarged, before pointing it towards the ground in front of them, as the ball snapped open and a beam of white shot forth. The ball closed up as the beam left entirely, and at their feet, a black ball of fluff materialized. The majority of her fur was a deep black, while the accents were all a blazing white, almost as if a mirror to Yang's colors. The Zorua was curled up and sleeping when she was let out, and after a few moments, the dark eyes slowly slid open, looking up at the two trainers curiously. "So you're my new trainer, I take it?" The dark-type asked, mimicking a voice neither of the trainers were familiar with. A mischievous grin spread across her face, though given her dark coloration, it was a bit harder to tell than it was with Yang.

Soon after landing and taking a look around Opelucid city, Isis suggested that they meet the new Zorua, which Zero agreed to, sending out the dark type soon after. It seemed they had caught her just waking up from a nap. "Wow! How interesting, she looks like the inverted version of Yang!" Isis exclaimed, watching as she woke up and addressed them. "Oh, um, yes, he is... I'm not." Isis scooted away from Zero slightly, setting them apart. Yang soon popped out of his pokeball shortly afterwards, looking at Zero with a distinct frown. "Hey, what gives?!" He growled, using Leon's voice, though with a slightly altered accent. "So you give me away like I'm not good enough but then you go pick up some other zorua? Real nice of ya." Yang's eyes narrowed. "Yang, come on now, that's not true.... I was very fond of your colors, so I asked him for a trade." Isis frowned. "Yeah... Right. Whatever. You regret that decision now, don't you? I'm more trouble than I'm worth, right? I can hear you even when I'm in my pokeball ya know, don't act all surprised." He simpered, giving the other zorua a leering glance. "Don't get too attached." He muttered, before darting off into the city. "Yang!" Isis cried out, chasing after the little fox. ✿ ❀

The Zorua yawned loudly, still curled up in her little ball as Zero crouched down to the dark pokemon. "Mhm," he confirmed, as Isis scooted away. "Good to have you aboard... Yin."
"So that's what you'll be calling me then?" The fox giggled to herself, but before the conversation could get any further, out popped Yang. May as well have been on cue, really. He huffed and puffed, clearly offended that Zero had suddenly gotten himself a new Zorua. The silver-haired male looked at him both perplexed and slightly annoyed that he was using Leon's voice. Yin, meanwhile, seemed to be eating it up. "Oh ho ho, I've only been with this trainer a few moments, and someone's already jealous~ Usually I have to actually do something for someone to get angry." The Zorua taunted, only making things worse when Yang darted off.
"Yang- Dammit, he's gone." Zero wacked the tuft of hair on Yin's head with the back of his hand, less than happy with her comment himself. "I guess we'd better run after him..."
Not wanting Yang to get too far away before they lost track of him, Zero joined Isis as they ran after him, Nova simply sighing as she rushed to catch up with the trainers. "Well, at least this is already eventful..." The fox mused, getting up and stretching like a cat, before she dashed off to catch up with them as well.
