As Skye and her two Pokémon wondered around town, the blonde stopped in front of an ice cream stall selling Casteliacones. Didn't those have an effect on Pokémon? She couldn't remember. Twirling one of her earrings in thought, Skye recalled they were healing items. They cured things like poison and confusion, didn't they? Those would come in handy. Deciding to get some, she bought five and stored them in the little cooler that was provided. How bags carried literally everything short of Arceus, Skye had no clue, but their Mary Poppins bag property was extremely useful. Maybe the bags were like PokéBalls. Made the contents much smaller than they were.

Well, that was her one last battle before the gym. Sighing, Skye pat Adalinda appreciatively before returning her to her PokéBall. She needed treated before the gym, and Skye wanted to have all her Pokémon checked on as pre-battle preparations. Except Pepeki, who Hart done anything. Well, no....Even Pepeki. He did go and "find" those items. Maybe he bumped his head or something. After some waiting, Skye's Pokémon were returned to her and she let Corrianna out before heading off to the gym. Corrianna and Pepeki were on her shoulders, and the Snivy seemed eager for the battle. But, Skye didn't want to use Corrianna. She never knew when Chili would switch in his Pansear, or if he started with it. No....She would use Pepeki and Adalinda. Maybe Gonzo the other two if she had to. Skye wasn't going to risk Corrianna's safety by pinning her against a Fire-type. Grass and Fire did not mix well at all.

Come on, the battle field is this way!" he urged, gesturing for Skye to follow. As he reached the battle field, he pulled out Lillipup's pokeball. I haven't seen a fully evolved pokemon here very often!" he commented with enthusiasm, stepping forward with a grin. "Keep it up with Bite, Lillipup!" he instructed. Unfortunately, those poison points were pretty sharp, and nicked him as he attacked. The following Megahorn attack knocked Lillipup out, and Chili promptly returned him. "Not bad! Alright, Pansear, let's turn up the heat!" he called, tossing out his next, and last, pokemon. "Will you be sticking with your Nidoking?" he asked, hands on his hips.
