I'll take the pledge.
I'm tired of seeing new members who have only been on for a month have extremely expensive and exclusive items just because they have enough in real life money, while I've been on for years and had to work hard for every item I have. It's time they work hard too!

I also take the pledge. I'm a newb to gaia but I can definitely see how damaging Generators are, and as a newb I feel like they take the fun out of the site a bit. I was really surprised when I joined to see how bad the inflation was and how much items cost, especially when you compare Marketplace prices to prices in the gaia shops!

I do say no 2 gold generators & had the pic thing in my sig 4 a while, but had 2 remove so I could get my fish tank & bump thread in my sig

Good to see you guys are announcing this again. I've basically never spent real money on Gaia and seeing how it's getting even worse than a year ago with the billions issue, (We all predicted they'd take out the trillion gold addiction bags.) I really hope we can get them to stop soon.

About the note on how gold rigs affect charities... I actually got into an argument with the admins of A Passionate Charity over their support of gold generators. As a result they insulted me, called the link I showed them to prove the damage gold gens do (This link, for crying out loud.) fake, and kicked me out. I'd suggest everyone stay wary of that guild for awhile...

The inflation is awful... Its taking me over a year to complete just one outfit because Im unable to earn gold or buy gcash. Really frustrating. I can't believe it's been so long and they still haven't done anything about it, its like they dont care.

Long time no see gaia... haven't logged into gaia in years - i couldn't remember my password!
I just wanted to check to see what some items are worth today... and freaked at the price.
No wonder the inflation has gone crazy! - because of this gold generator feature...
