Any more loops? Angles? Falls? Not yet. Letting out a breath that blew her bangs around her face, she lingered in the room for a minute. None of this made much sense to her. A defense mechanism for the spire, she guessed. Anyone trying to break in would have a world of a time trying to get to... whatever was in this place. Ah well. It took the agency's building. With it, the portal to Halloween. It wasn't like the spire had given them much choice. Unless, of course, it was going to toss the building back down.
...not that that'd likely end in a good way, but so long as the portal was fine, who cares.

Still room 13 gdi
He decided to try that again.
And he ended up sliding straight back into the room he had just been in only a few moments before.
The moment she stepped into the room, something felt... wrong. Shifting from foot to foot, she'd glanced around, trying to determine the source. Nothing stood out. Yet she... felt horrible. A chill raced down her spine and she looked to Cras, hoping perhaps he'd come out of his slowed state. No dice. Hopping from foot to foot again, wondering if a little more activity would boost her spirits... she bolted. Ran. She just... had to get out of that room.

[ Enter - Room 1 ]
"Wow." < Wow >
Harlow held her hand on the door as she pushed it open. She stared forward her mouth opened into a small gasp. Her eyes widened as she looked around the room, this was horrifying. Something about all of this just chilled her to the bone. It just made her all kinds of uncomfortable, anxious even. As she looked she just felt completely overwhelmed. At least it sounded like her and her weapon were on the same page for once. That was something that was pretty rare between the two so far. They were fond of each other of course, but you wouldn't be able to tell by how they talked. It was as if they were at each other's throats all of the time.
It looked like she was so far up and the ticking noise she could already tell was going to make her all kinds of insane. Everything was moving which made everything just that much more overwhelming. What was she doing here? What the hell did she get herself into this time?
< Well princess, you just got to get moving. >
Harlow knew that Neci was right this time. She knew that she wasn't going to get anywhere if she just stayed frozen at this door. It wasn't going to do her anything and she knew to do her job she had to get moving. She grasped her weapon tight in her hands before moving forward. She was already here and she might as well just keep moving. There wasn't much else she could do at this point. She was determined she wasn't going to turn back. She stood up straight pretending to feel great about what she was doing.
< That's right princess, what is the worst that can happen anyway? >
She wasn't proud of it, but she'd ran all right. It did her... some form of good? Maybe she'd just had some really good momentum going, or the rooms were taking pity on her--she doubted it--but she got pretty far. Farther than she'd been in a stretch before. Just the question was... how much longer? It... felt like the exit should be ahead of her. But for how much longer?

Harlow rested Neci on her shoulder, and continued through the door. She pushed it open with force but cautiously. She was unsure of what to think of the room so far, it seemed a lot like the last one. What was this about? < See princess, no big deal. Harlow rolled her eyes at the Harpoon's comments. She couldn't help but to just want to ignore the creature for now. She was hoping that maybe the rest of the rooms weren't a big deal like this one was... but she had a feeling it was going to be.
Again he tried, this time even inching his way around where he knew the trap door might be lying in wait.
....Except then the entire freaking floor dropped out beneath him instead of one small square, sending him tumbling back to where he had just been. <******** hell, I'm never going to get out of here." He muttered to himself, reaching up to run fingers through his hair.

[Room 1]
This area at least didn't look as horrifying as the last. To be fair, Darren had a better head for heights than he did for darkness, at least anymore. He frowned as he slowly entered the first room, looking around to try and get a sense of bearings...
Darren was hungry... That was really weird... He licked his lips, then ground his teeth, looking around the room as he scratched idly at the back of his head. He just wanted to...
Rend and tear into flesh and consume as much fear as possible. He felt his jaw set and he clenched his fists.
His eyes scanned the room for movement - hoping for prey.

[ Room Number: 22 -> 23 ]
More doors. This place was kind of a let down. She really expected more ... hijinks.
At least her sense was right this time. One more door, and that was it. She didn't pause. Didn't wait to look for Hamika. She had the ghoul's hat still secured to her--she did pause to at least check that--and that was all she gave any mind to for the moment. Cras was still moving oddly in her arms, too slow for her liking. She still felt... afraid. It wasn't a sensation she wanted to dwell in any longer. It wasn't a thought she wanted in her freaking head any longer. The reaper snarled--a pathetic attempt, given her state--and bolted through the last door as quick as her feet could take her. She needed out of this cage of rooms.

[Room 1]
Sin was irritated beyond belief by the turn of events that had led her here. No sooner had she returned and managed to get some of the sand out (it was probably never going to all come out) of her boots when everything started to shake. She could only backpedal and watch in shock as a huge tower rose from the sands.
The next thing she knew she was standing there among the evacuated and then staring up at the agency. If that was where the portal home was then that was exactly where she wanted to be She charged in as the agency CEO gave them the green-light and unfortunately was suddenly separated from the group.
She jerked to a sudden halt and stared at the suspended rooms and precarious doors. Everything seemed to shift about and then the entire room jerked and she felt as if she was being moved like a doll house being rearranged by a careless scareling.
"Oh jack this is not good..."
Then again when were things ever easy? She closed her eyes a moment and took a deep breath. No matter how frightening she had to navigate her way out of here if she ever wanted to get home. She cautiously approached a door and waited for the movement to stop.

[ Room 4 > Room 9 ] Event 3
EVENT 3: A blindness overtakes you. This lasts for the rest of the corridor of time. You can no longer see what is in front of you! All you can hear are sounds, and you must tread very carefully. This also makes you extra vulnerable to attacks, as you take 2x the damage from not being able to see.
Harlow's bad feeling about this whole place was right, as she found as she walked through the next door. She had a moment to look around and take in about half of the surroundings... that was until everything went dark. She could not see a single thing, she froze just for a moment though. She wasn't sure if anyone else was in this room and she didn't want any problems.
Her first reaction was to extend Neci, the tapped the point of the harpoon on to the ground, using her as a walking stick to a point. She cursed under her breath. < What the hell are you doing? > Neci nagged wanting demanding to know why she was being placed on the ground. Neci had been completely stubborn about the idea of not being on the ground. I can't see a thing Harlow thought back to the weapon. She murmured and started to brush Neci against the ground hoping to find her way to the door like this some how.
Darren walked out of the room as quickly as he could. He did not like the feeling that room had engendered in him. He however, did not enjoy walking into a room of complete blackness again. He really hoped this was not going to be a common occurrence because he was really getting sick of it.
