@Baitos:

The only immediate thing I noted was 'Helios' Might', which says it's the 'final' move of his Limit Break. Limit Breaks are meant to be individual moves, not combinations. If the moves are meant to be combined, than list them as a single Limit Break.

I meant it to be a kill move to Limit Break, like a final trump card if the other few moves don't really work. I'll go back and edit it~

Also making an edit to Cory's Summon Drive, since it hasn't been used yet it and shouldn't pose a continuity problem.

      • Daigoro's Loyal Bite- When Cory is afflicted with a status ailment that can be ended by a strike, he will become internally "bitten" by Daigoro, allowing him to end the ailment. Does not work against ailments that cannot be ended by an attack, such as poison or stop.

  • Lighting Arrow- When she shoots an arrow she also calls lighting at the same time thereby giving the lighting bolt a direction to go. It also helps to get the arrow through certain barriers.
  • Foxfire- While not as strong as an Elder Kistune's Foxfire. Yumeko's Foxfire can hurt. It causes about the same amount of damage as a regular Fire spell does.

Support Abilities: {You can have less/more than three, if necessary}
  • Illusion- This little ability that she has allows her to make her opponents think that things are going their way when really the are making a fool of themselves. She usually uses it only to prevent someone's death.
  • Emerald Winds- For Yumeko this spell is a healing spell that also protects. Something like combining Curaga and Aeroga.

Passive Abilities: {YOU MAY ONLY HAVE TWO MAXIMUM}
  • Tounge of Beasts- This little passive ability allows her to speak with all animals.
  • Shift- Her body shifts according to the situation that she is in. For example in battle she would go to her mid form to gain more agility.


Limit Breaks: {These are attacks that you can only use when your character is near defeat, as in his/her last few HP.}
  • Foxfire Kistune! - When she is at a loss as to what she can do she will slpit her tail into nine with foxfire alight on each tip. They will move from the tails and gather together to form a large Fox made of fire. It will charge at all opponents to try to either knock them out or kill them.
  • Tenshi Kistune- This ability gives her the chance to heal all that she is with or bring one person back to life.
  • Kistune Crystal Heart Shot- This Limit Break would be her final one. It is the one ability that she fears using. This ability allows her to bring out her heart which is surrounded by crystal, as the the marking on her chest would show, and form it into an arrow. She will then put all that she can into the arrow and fire it. The effects of the arrow will depend on the strength of her heart.

Family: Umiko Starr is Yumeko's twin sister. Both parents died when they were five.

Bio: Yumeko and Umiko Starr were orphaned at the young age of five due to hunter of a specific kind. On their home planet all Hengiyokai were concidered pets if they were caught. Among the most valued of Hengiyokai were the Kistunes. The orange kistunes were rare, but the Kistune that most hunters hoped for were the Artic Kistunes due to their fur and abilities. Yumeko and Umiko both cared for mankind even if they were hunted. If someone was hurt... well let's just say that their agility comes in handy should the injured realize who was tending to them. The twins decided that if they were to survive they would have to leave their home and start anew someplace else. Other Hengiyokai they knew had left as well, so it was only natural that they would want to leave as well. Yumeko and Umiko both decided that by going on two seperate ships they would not be found. The girls had picked random ships in hopes that the next place they went to would not be as bad as their homeworld.


Sample Post: Two young ladies both with silver/white hair and ice blue eyes looked at each other then hugged.

"I wish you well Umiko and I hope that we will meet again." said one of the ladies as she backed away.

"And I wish you the same Yumeko. 'Til we meet again." Umiko said before she left to get on the closest ship paying for her passage as she stepped up to the man.

Yumeko knew that her sister would get off-world without a problem, so she turned to go the other direction and went up to the lady who was handing out passes for gold. "Is this your first time miss?'asked the ticket lady, who after recieving a nod from Yumeko, handed her a ticket.'You look like you would need all the gold you have deary, so here have one on me."

"Thank you ma'am." Yumeko responded gently with awe in her voice, for it was rare that someone would be kind to her without there being a catch.


As I responded in your PM, I'm SO SORRY. Here's the critique:

1) First and foremost, please re-read the rules of PLL carefully.

2) Illusion needs to be a bit more detailed. Are you saying she can pretty much do anything with illusory power?

3) Emerald Winds is a bit powerful, if you're comparing it to a combination of Curaga and Aeroga. It's a bit early in the game for someone to have such knowledge, especially at 22 years of age.

4) Bringing someone back from the dead is not a possibility. From being unconscious/passed out? Sure. Please fix Tenshi Kitsune when keeping this in mind.

5) Kitsune Crystal Heart Short worries me somewhat. Are you saying the ability actually ends her existence? By firing the heart, her life would be forfeit... are you certain about that?

However if one pays enough attention then they would be able to tell that something wasn't quite right like eye color or the movement, and even the lack of shadow.

  • Hair Style: Short and messy; his bangs reach a little below his eyebrows
  • Clothing: Thales wears a white toga that goes around his left shoulder, only exposing the right half of his chest, which is tucked into a loose pair of white pants, which are tucked into copper-colored metallic straps with wings around his shin worn over black leather sandals. Around his waist are a couple metallic thigh guards strapped together by a belt above torn brown cloth wrapped around his waist. On his left arm he has a golden fleece that covers most of his shoulder and bicep and a golden pronated forearm protector. On his right arm, he has a similar golden forearm protector. (For a better idea, take a look at this picture--minus the wings, of course.)

  • Raging Phoenix - A hit with the end of the staff, followed by a hit with the other end and then a more powerful hit from the closest end.
  • Sweep - A swipe with the staff at an opponent's legs.
  • Upper Bo Smackdown - Six quick swipes to the face
  • Middle Bo Smackdown - Five Jabs to the middle region of the enemy.
  • Lower Bo Smackdown - Four quick jabs to the legs.
  • Phoenix Flare - Spins the Bo staff around four times, hitting the opponent with each spin.
  • Heaven Monument - Thales puts his staff vertically on the ground, jumps on top, spins around and then picks up his staff and does an overhead smash.

  • Last Stand – As a last resort, Thales’ body produces a large amount of adrenaline, increasing his pain threshold, strength, and speed, and improving his eyesight, increasing his chances of dodging ranged attacks.


Strengths: Close-Combat, Weapons Master, Strength and Speed
Weaknesses: Thales is nearsighted, making him prone to long-range attacks and has an injured right knee, a result of a training accident that tore his meniscus.

Personality: Thales is a very knowledgeable youth with a great respect for truth and morality. Though he has been trained to fight, he’s somewhat of a pacifist—choosing not to fight unless he has to. Thales also has quite the temper (however contradictory it may sound given his calm and peaceful exterior), but has managed to control it since the incident back at home. However, Thales is rather humble, kind and polite, and optimistic as he always attempts to see the positive in every situation. He is very caring and selflessly puts others before himself.
Likes: Thales enjoys reading about philosophy, training, telling the truth (though it has gotten him into trouble), optimism, peace, relaxing, providing an unnecessary amount of deatil, his family, and stratigizing.
Dislikes: Thales dislikes liars, violence (unless necessary), pessimism, unrighteous anger, and the perversion and disrespect of truth, morality, and human life.
Fears: Thales fears losing control over his temper and in turn lashing out at others, being unable to protect others, and further injuring his right knee to a point of being immobile.

Family: Thales has a father, Matthaios, a mother, Alethea, and a baby sister named Celine all on Olympus.

Bio: The son of a Spartan Warrior, Matthaios, and a common woman from Thebes (the home of the Legendary Hercules), Alethea, Thales’ future has always been rather divided. In one hand, his father Matthaios would push his “Spartan way of life” on Thales, claiming, “there’s nothing more satisfying than receiving glory on the battlefield by spilling the blood of Greece’s enemies on her soil!” On the other hand, his mother Alethea would push politics and philosophy, claiming, “there’s nothing greater than the pursuit of truth and wisdom,” hence why his mother named him Thales, after the Father of Philosophy.

Driven by his desire to please both his parents, Thales had become a master of both mind and body. After his daily schooling, when his friends and classmates would go out and enjoy each other’s company in “merrymaking,” Thales would return home to train and study. The sounds of clashing swords and shields filled the air around their typical Greek house as his father and him spent the rest of the afternoons and some of the evenings training in the ways of combat. Thales was thought how to use everything from his surroundings for tactical advantages, collaboration in team environments, the sword and spear, and the shield not only as a means of defense but as a weapon as well. However, training did come at a cost of an injury to his right knee resulting in a torn meniscus after severe damage to both his anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) and the medial collateral ligament (MCL). Though since then his knee has healed, Thales still feels the affects when his knee is overused or struck. Later in the evenings, when everyone has gone to bed, Thales would remain up and study the books his mother would leave him about philosophy and politics by candlelight, which resulted in his poor eyesight, weakening his farsightedness (thus making him prone to long-range attacks).

Anger has always been an issue Thales struggled with. His lack of control brought upon one of the darkest chapters of his life he will never forget. When he was 17, Thales, overworked and stressed, lost control of his temper in the midst of his training as his father pushed him to his limits. As a response, Thales reacted violently, viciously swinging his sword about. In his rage, Thales had struck his baby sister, Celine (who at the time was only 5-years-old), bringing the tip of his sword down her right eye. The attack had left her blind and scarred. The whiteness in her eye and the scar that runs down it played as a constant reminder of the travesty he had committed. From that day forth, Thales vowed to never again lose control of his temper (thus taking a more calm, peaceful, and optimistic view on life) and placed down the sword, picking up a less lethal weapon: the bo staff (a representation of his vow). And with that vow came a transformation within Thales, producing a kinder, more polite and caring person.

About the time Thales had finished his secondary schooling, a group of travelers had landed in a strange ship on Olympus. They claimed to be from other worlds, which had been destroyed due to dark creatures with beady yellow eyes and antennas called Heartless. The idea of other worlds intrigued Thales, especially the part of him the pursued knowledge and truth. He felt this was an opportunity too great to pass up. That night, he spoke to his parents, informing them of his plans to join the travelers throughout their journeys. His parents agreed, feeling he was both old and well prepared enough to take care of himself. As a goodbye gift, his father presented the boy with a golden fleece and matching golden pronated forearm protectors he had used during his younger years in the war. Kissing his parents and baby sister Celine (now 7) goodbye, Thales, bo staff in hand and a messenger bag filled with his possessions in the other, made his way over to the travelers and asked for permission to join them in their journey; who wholeheartedly agreed. Thales and the small group of travelers took off and when the Gummi landed again, the group found themselves outside of the gates to Traverse Town. Thales exited the ship, taking his first steps on a whole new world, excited about the endless wonders awaiting on the other side of the large wooden doors before him.

Sample Post:

Everything seemed to be moving quicker than Thales was use to growing up on Olympus. It had only been a couple weeks since he had graduated from high school and now he was on a Gummi Ship with a group of strangers flying towards an unfamiliar world. Thales chewed on his fingernails and tapped his knee as he sat, excitedly waiting for what’s ahead. The ship finally landed as the hydraulics to the loading ramp released, lowering the ramp.

“Alright, boys,” the pilot of the group began. “Welcome to Traverse Town! Go out, stretch your legs, relax, and have a drink, but be back quick! As soon as we restock out inventory, we’ll be taking off—with or without you.”

With that, Thales exited the ship, taking his first steps on a whole new world, excited about the endless wonders await on the other side of the large wooden doors before him.

Louis(M) Abilities:

Active Abilities:


Permafrost: Louis concentrates the powers of ice on himself, then released them all at once. Ice spreads out in a flash from Louis as the center covering every surface in a wide radius. Anyone touching a surface and not in the air within a matter of a second or two of activation will be covered in a frost spell. Defense calculation still occurs. After activation, Louis can disperse the spell immediately, leaving those effected with the Frost spell to deal with it for another 3 turns, or hold it indefinitely until his mana runs out maintaining the frost effect as long as he pleases as long as they continue to touch the surrounding surfaces every 3 turns.((Louis must remain on the ground as long as the spell is active.))((Can Dispel Fire/Burning))


Support Abilities:

Frost: All of Louis' physical and magical ice attacks are imbued with a magical frost, impacts from any of his abilities initiates an added effect of frost. Frost, is the physical ice equivalent of the magical Slow. While the effects are physical, the ice is obviously magical so its effects are still determined by magic defense. Frost will eventually deteriorate over 3 turns unless a new hit is placed on the target.

Freeze: The heavier, more potent relative of frost. This status effect is only caused by certain attacks in Louis' arsenal. Freeze, renders a target completely immobile and can only be cured by thawing naturally or Louis leaving the battlefield.

Louis Luciano Abilities:

Active Abilities:


Demi: Louis summons darkness to his palm and fires it off in a concentrated ball. The ball travels either several yards, or until it hits something, then detonates, sucking in everything within a few feet into it as it expands, compresses, then explodes. This attack is great for diverting attacks and nullifying ranged magic attacks. Does damage proportional to the condition of the opponent. Works less of those tainted by darkness.
((PS: I kinda used this attack before awhile ago in the training car. Didn't think about it at the time that it was never actually approved.))



Limits:

The Vanguard's Sacrifice & Rose of Purification:

  • [Level 3] The Vanguard's Sacrifice- Louis calls upon his affinity to darkness, tapping into the darkness of his allies. Louis draws on the darkness in those around him, sapping a large amount of darkness from their hearts and placing it into himself.     Louis as an after effect is left incapacitated for 3 turns. If the battle does not end within 3 turns, Rose of Purification is activated.

    • Rose of Purification: Covered in darkness, and decorated in countless black bruises, Louis sinks into a dark puddle. Slowly in his place, a black rose bud larger than a person itself grows out of the same puddle. It blooms slowly, then once fully open to the world reveals Louis standing in its core. His raises his arms to each side at the elbows, allowing his hands to droop strangely lower, a sinking feeling enveloping everything and everyone around him. Louis swings his hands down and in one fluid motion brings them back up to the sky, an eruption of dark tendrils flowing out of him and into the sky high above the battlefield where they converge and bloom again dropping jagged, thorned roots onto the enemy below, crashing like lighting and holding their form until the entire sequence is complete where they slowly grow a shade of grey, then white and then finally shed away in layers upon layers of white pedals that vanish soon after. Louis then falls completely unconscious for the remainder of the battle and some time afterwards.


I approve of all of these abilities. I believe 'Frost' would be listed under Passives.

    • Sniper's Solatium - whilst not exactly an attack ability, I'm putting it here because this is what people will look at when she engages in combat, and I want this to be known, so that there are no complaints later on; her rifle is not magical. Subsequently, no Hammerspace, and no magical bullets, so D: she needs to carry ammo and re-load her cartridges. However, because her bullets are not magical, they are actual bullets. Like, from our world. If she successfully shoots you, it will be by a real life metal bullet travelling at several times the speed of sound, hand-in-hand with all the bodily harm that goes with it.
      However, due to RP purposes and rules, I, a law-abiding RPer, cannot have her kill anyone without their RPer's permission, so successful head shots, which would realistically be a FATALITY! *cue sounds effects* are now just instant K.O.s ^///u///^. The bullet simply disintegrates upon impact.

    Personality: Independent, spunky, composed and straightforward, Ail is the girl who says what needs to be said, when it needs to be said, or just says nothing at all. Mind you, she is the one who decides what needs voicing.
    But don't misread her silence - her thoughts are so wacky they're borderline ridiculous. She is, however, very diligent, probably due to her ingrained desire for approval, though she has yet to realise that the only acceptance she needs is her own.
    With that said, Ail has always understood that everyone has crap in their lives, and thus, Ail tends to hold everyone on the same level of regard, and when coupled with her silent moments, makes her seem rather apathetic; and perhaps she is, though it's more like a lack of sympathy, if anything. Though I guess it doesn't help that her neutral face just makes her look bored/pissed.
    So whilst she doesn't tend to be overly concerned, once you have her best interests, you can't lose them even if you try. But don't fool yourself - Ail respects everyone, no matter how good or bad, and expects the same in return. If not... Well, let's not go there.

    Bio: Ail was born the oldest child of a very wealthy yet traditional couple, to a beautiful estate in a land where the sun never slept. Discovered to be dyslexic at an early age, she suffered hard at the hands of her strict parents, who refused to acknowledge her learning disability as an excuse for her poor academic progress and behaviour, and all but abandoned her for her younger siblings. She did, however, shine at gymnastics, and started to better acquaint herself with competitive shooting, another sport she had an uncanny predisposition for.
    But alas, the lack of support and guidance from her parents alongside all of their alienation just drove her off the edge and, at not quite fourteen, Ail ran away from home. However, being a kid, and a frustrated one at that, she didn't actually think her escape through. So with no real plans - save the last-minute decision to bring her father's best rifle (a decision that would prove to shape the rest of her life) - and enough pride to not want to crawl back to her parents with her tail between her legs, she hitchhiked her way from world to world, finally arriving in Traverse Town.

    There, she meet a group of performers who had fled their dieing world and, from them, picked up many new skills; the art of parkour, to name one, but also many useful self-defense moves that they knew well enough to incorporate into their performances; both of which came to her surprisingly easily, especially the former, thanks to her years of gymnastic experience.
    As an amateur traceuse, she performed small stunts in order to earn her bread and butter, and also took up odd jobs with 'pest' - namely heartless - control, using her father's rifle when she could afford rounds, or cheap, tacky trench knives when she couldn't. There were... Mishaps, of course, but with her firm will and strong desire to remain unhindered by shortcomings and insecurities, she triumphed over her mental and physical barriers, and grew to become a talented fighter and traceuse.

    Ail's skills gradually increased (as well as the weight of her back pocket), but after some time, she grew tired of her new lifestyle, and longed for greener pastures. After a few good, happy years together, Ail and the troupe said their goodbyes, with yours truly once again traversing from location to location, staying for short bursts of time, handling the odd job, kicking the odd heartless. Finally wanting to set up some roots, Ail landed in a newly reclaimed Hollow Bastion, which was being restored to its former glory by its faithful occupants. Picking up where she left off, now with more feats in her repertoire and greater marksmanship than she had first started out with, she made a pretty good living for herself as both a performer, heartless hunter, and kitchenhand, the latter of which she picked up on a streak of good luck.

    This new regime lasted for several of the ensuing years, ending just a few months ago. Tseng had caught whiff of Ail's precision shooting talents, and after some deliberation, Ail took him up on his offer of a position amongst the Turks. Since then, she has been working as an employee of Shin-Ra, doing the jobs that a rookie would. Though her dyslexia plagued her with the odd task, she persevered through it, insisting earnestly that her learning disability be kept hidden from her co-workers unless absolutely, life-threateningly necessary.
    Aaaand that's the story so far, mes amis~. As for the rest? Well, it'll unfold as the roleplay progresses.

    Meet my ability overhaul from hell. I am also adding my second passive ability as well as editting my Boss Form stats, as Chaos should be hell of a lot faster and less focused on magical power.

    Attack Abilities:
    • Chaos Blade Lanista Blade techniques
      • Bloodstrike - Nick's blades glow red, and he loses some health. He then slams down on an opponent in a barrage to do damage.
      • Lifebane - Nick's blades glow green, and every attack that hits, whether it is blocked or not, drains life from the opponent. If blocked, it draws less life that it would from an actual hit, but still drains life. Nick can also drain life without his weapons, but he must be touching his opponent. This drains life at a quicker rate as well.
      • Manabane - Nick's blades glow blue, and every attack that hits, whether it is blocked or not, drains mana from the opponent. If blocked, it draws less mana that it would from an actual hit, but still drains mana. Nick can also drain mana without his weapons, but he must be touching his opponent. This drains mana at a quicker rate as well.
      • Crippling Strikes - Nick's blades glow purple, and he attempts to strike the foe's arms and legs. [Attempts to cause Cripple/Disable]
      • Oblivion - Nick draws life from everything around him, whether they be allies or enemies, then channels the attack into a single destructive strike for massive damage. Blades glow with a black aura.

    • Aeromancy Offensive wind techniques
      • Gentle Fist - Shoots a blast of wind towards the opponent, possibly knocking them back. Can be used in a combo.
      • Aero Stomp - Stomps the ground, releasing a large push of air all around Nick. Pushes back friend or foe.
      • Spin Me Right Round - Nick manipulates the wind to spin an opponent in order to disorient them temporarily.
      • Blade of the Four Winds - Nick channels the wind into an arc shape, then fires it off at his opponent to cut them.
      • Aerial Combo - Nick launches an opponent into the air and proceeds to attack them brutally in midair.
      • Bull Rush - Nick charges, tackling one foe and dragging them along for a ride before throwing the opponent with a blast of wind.


    Support Abilities:
    • Aeromancy - Nick's aero defenses
      • Light on your Feet- Nick uses his wind to increase his speed or the speed of his ally/allies.
      • Jet Stream - Nick launches himself with a large blast of air. This can be used to jump high or propel off of a wall or even a ceiling to dash at someone. It can be used multiple times, but costs a lot of energy to continuously use.
      • Blade Guardian - Nick summons four swords composed of wind magic as a last resort defense shield from an attack. Each sword can take one attack, then 'shatters' before vanishing. The ability is a last resort, and takes a decent chunk of energy to keep using during battle.
      • Aero Shield - Nick uses the wind to create a shield protecting him from ranged attacks.

    • Darkness - Nick's power over the Darkness
      • Dark Portal - Nick can travel to different places using Corridors of Darkness.
      • Heartless - Nick can summon various shapes and sizes of Heartless.
        • Level 1 - Shadow Heartless, the Musical Casters, Basic Heartless
        • Level 2 - Mid-rank Heartless, can create basic 'Chaos Heartless', custom Heartless which have a green third eye that glows green somewhere on their bodies
        • Level 3 - High rank Heartless, Mid-rank Chaos Heartless
        • Level 4 - Midboss Heartless, High rank to Midboss Chaos Heartless, Humanoid Heartless
        • Level 5 - Boss Heartless, Boss Chaos Heartless


    • Eyes of Chaos Nick's unique ability, able to channel pure chaos through his eyes, able to cause many different kinds of status effects.
      • Blind Shadows fall over the person's eyes, blinding them.
      • Confuse The person sees demons and monsters all around them.
      • Berserk The person flies into a rage, attacking in a blind fury.
      • Paralyze The person becomes paralyzed with fear.

    @Rio Rin: As I said to you before, everything looks fine with this one, you have my approval.

    @Mitsudo: Well, immediately I can tell you to not bother with the Unversed, as you don't meet the requirements for controlling such a creature and never will, for good reason. Also, why do you only have 5 'Levels' of Heartless control? If you're going with the stat Level system, there would be 6. That one's more out of curiosity than anything.

    Also, a Passive may induce immunity to no more than 2 statuses. As such, you'd have to choose from the mind-altering status ailments: Confuse, Berserk, Charm, Fear, and Addle.

    And the five levels of Heartless control is so I don't have to be like, "At level 1, I can summon this, this, and this Heartless. At level 2, blah blah blah." I just set it so it's a basic list of what I can and can't summon based on my experiences with darkness, not how fast I level. It is not connected to my stat leveling in anywhere other than the higher level I am, the higher level my Heartless summoning will be. But the rates will be completely different.

      • Flair- A skill set originating from the Parivir class.
        • Unburden Soul- KO user, fully heal hp and cure all negative buffs to the five nearest allies.
      • Ethereal Guard- Conjures a shield of energy to block frontal attacks.
      • Energize- Invigorates himself with the Revblade, granting a boost to speed and strength. Left fatigued afterward.
    • Shadow Magic- Dark magic invoked by Cory's infected Shadow Hand. Cory cannot use Shadow Magic and Engine magic at the same time.
      • Dark Shield- Summons a shield of darkness to block attacks. More powerful than Ethereal guard, but weak to Light attacks.
      • Dark Hand- Makes the Shadow Hand more dense and resistant to cutting, allowing Vain to grab and block edged weapons without consequence.
    • Terminus- Releases the spirit of Father's Cry to open up a rift to a random place located on the world he is on.
    Passive Abilities:
    • Disruption- When caught in a status that can be nullified by an attack, Vain's energy will become disrupted by the Revblade. This makes him immune to such status effects.
    • Bushido- Due to his dual-Samurai class, Vain's parrying skill outclasses even warriors much more powerful than he.
