Melody gave it another try, she got up and standed, not staight thoguht, and after 2 seconds she fell again. "gah! i never thought it was that hard" she said angrily.

melody tried and tried, she could finally stand up on her legs starightly.
she felt the wind and smiled "i knew i can do it" she said happily to herself.
she did a single step, she allmust fell down but held herself in the last second.
"haha! beat that!" she said full of herself.

Sama let his gelding, Sib, pick his own way along the shore. With so few people staying as close to the beach as he was he had plenty of time to let Sib wander slowly along the coast line.
Sib was walking over a hill closer to the shore when he saw the purple haired woman. He asked Sib to stop as the woman tried, then tried again to stand. He smirked as she called out, 'I knew I can do it!'
He asked Sib to walk closer to the woman. He was twenty feet away from her when she came to her feet and called again, 'Haha! Beat that!' Sama chuckled, and stopped Sib. He leaned his elbow on his knee, before he spoke, "Well I probably could, but I don't think I need to."

"I don't know anything about being reborn, but you still look like a new born horse," Sama said climbing off Sib and untying his coat from the back of his saddle, "As for what I'm doing here..." Sama shrugged a shoulder, "I'm sort of wandering..."
He walked through the sand and over to her putting the coat over her shoulders then squatting down next to her. He grinned not really bothered by her lack of clothes, "Don't tell me you were skinny dippin' and your clothes got washed away?"

she looked at him "thanks" she told the storys all the mermaids are saying when someone finds them in the position she is now, only she changed it a little to look less poor and helpless.
"well. a thief came while i was sitting and looking at the beach,he robbed me and took my clothes,when i tried to resist he hitted my legs" she said and looked at his face to see his reaction.

Sama ducked his had, not able to keep from laughing, "Well that's better than what happen to me, last time I went swimmin' in the ocean... Gotta tell ya that was very embarrassin' walk back into town..."
He smiled at her, "That was just my own stupidity shinin' through, yours sounds like plain human cruelty and greed... I thought most people on the coast treated each other kinder than that."

"Eh?" Sama grinned, "So you're not from around here either? Guess you're about as lost as I am, eh?" He pointedly ignored her question about his origins, it wasn't something he enjoyed discussing with anyone who didn't already know the whole story. "Shall we be lost together? My spare clothes will probably fit you."

Sama gave her a toothy grin, "Hey, bein' special is better than bein' borin'." He stood dusting off his back side, "I'll get those clothes for you."
He walked back over to Sib and opened a pack, pulling a carefully folded white shirt out then rooted around until he found a pair of pants. As he shifted things a Tunic with guard colors came to the top, but he quickly buried it again. "So how long you planin' on being here, Missy?"
