Caroline smiles and pats Annjette on the back before she disappears. "Children are lovely," she agrees. She laughs a little. "Why, only a few days ago I was talkin' with Silver about what a son o' mine might be like." She grasps her teacup with both hands and leans her elbows on her knees, putting her weight on her forearms.

Voltaire laughed a bit and nodded, "It is always wonderful to imagine your future children. It only makes it more surprising and wonderful when you see them for the first time in the end." He took a sip of his tea and sighed a little, "I think I'd like a son one day, but I wouldn't argue with another daughter. I just am not sure how Annjette would feel about that," the half-elf chuckled.
"I never really asked if she ever wanted a little brother or sister to help care for."

Caroline nods and sips her tea. She lapses into contemplative silence.

[Oh noes. xD]
Voltaire also lapses into a moment of silence before standing up, almost abruptly, "I do believe I feel like going out for a moment myself. Care to walk with me?" He set aside his tasteless cup of tea. "It has been awhile since I enjoyed the daylight. It has been even longer since I walked arm-in-arm with a beautiful lady." He grinned at her.

Caroline finishes her tea and sets the cup down on the trunk as she stands. "Oh, you are quite the charmer," she says, winking her agreement. "I'd intended to go walking when I left my own wagon. The weather is bonnie today."

Voltaire smirked, "I can be quite charming when I want to be." He opened the wagon door and slipped out. Then he offered Caroline a hand down and his arm as she stepped down from the last step.
Annjette was currently staring down at her hands and seeming to be deeply concentrating. The concentration was broken, however, when the pair made their way out of the wagon. She peered over at them, "Where are you two going?" the swan-girl enquired.
"For a walk," Voltaire responded with a smile to his daughter, "Want to come with?"
There was a rustle in the cloak and there was Q on her shoulder as the dark haired girl nodded and slowly stood up so as not to upset her companion, "Yes! And finally you're doing something OTHER than moping about."
The half-elf said nothing in response and just offered his daughter a free hand to hold before they began their walk.

Caroline accepts Voltaire's arm as they walk in the lazy sunshine. She appreciates his charm, since truthfully it's been a long while since she's enjoyed the company of a gentleman.

Annjette was sitting upon the ground near her wagon with Slaine grazing upon the grass near by, freed of his burden for the moment. Upon the horse's back was the body of a small Ermine, idly napping in the sunshine. It was a good day, a clear day.
Upon her lap Annjette was weaving bits of grass and a book laid at her side as if she had forgotten it or was otherwise bored with it at the moment.

Rojiza, laden with birds, notices Annjette and goes over to her, practically bursting with excitement. She sits on the ground next to her and shows off the new chicks. She nestles the babies in her lap and pulls out her pad to write. Taog and Aurelia had twins! Aren't they so sweet? She offers the notepad to Annjette. Taog hops off her shoulder, onto one knee, to keep watch over his family. Ro giggles and scritches his head, and is rewarded with an affectionate n**, and a sharp bite to her ear by Aurelia. Ro yowls and pets the jealous female as well.

She looked up upon feeling someone sit next to her. Annjette had an inkling as to who it was, likely having seen the form of the shadow on the ground and recognized it.
Annjette grinned lightly at her friend's excitement and watched the birds while she accepted the note.
"That is wonderful! Congratulations." It was always wonderful that her friends had a good fortune no matter if it is for a day or a year.

Thanks, she writes. I haven't thought of any names yet...do you have any ideas? The little male hops out of Ro's lap and into Jette's. He makes a raw chirping sound and bobs up and down.

Annjette looks down at the male after reading the next note and giggled.
"I may have a couple of ideas." The swangirl said thoughtfully as a hand reached out to gently pet the little male on the head.
"Dalia is a female name meaning luck and fate. Aras is a male name meaning Eagle. Which if you think of what an eagle can represent it could be a suitable name." It was a suggestion and nothing more if Ro didn't approve of those she could always come up with more.
