((tune to song is Greensleeves)) "Hmm," Taun said thoughtfully while standing up. "that actually has a ring to it." Taun quickly ran over a few lines in his head to see if it would scan, then proudly sang out:
The bird that pecked, one thousand heads whose beakish visage grins. Each lump he gives, serves to remind whose world this tru-u-ly is. Axex, of the pure white mane I just ran out of words, CRAP! Well it wasn't that bad was it?" He asked with a pleading look on his face.

EDIT: Zig laughed a bit, but said, "It is pretty good. I'm sure Axex appreciated it." The bird had listened to the song with his head cocked to one side, but he seemed quite satisfied. "I don't believe anyone's ever written him a song before or part of a song. You'd better not be seranading him outside the window one night or I'll be throwing things at you as I try to sleep."

"I'll assure you that there is no chance of that." Taun said, "Once I fall asleep it would take a team of earth elementalists to wake me up."

"Good otherwise I'd be obliged to dislike you," Zig responded. "It's not so hard to wake me up, but to get me out of bed requires quite a bit of work." She remembered multiple times when she and the friend she'd traveled with for a while had missed ot almost missed their transportation from her unwillingness to open her eyes.

Having made a short climb to a suitable position, Kel sat near the top of the tower he landed on. He looked up at the sky and listened to the wind. His ear twitched from sounds from below. "Sounds like human courtship... eh, I could be wrong..." He watched the birds fly by.

After an hour of moping and meddling in Illusion's room, Luke decided that he wanted to go out and meet Rinaldi for another drink. He got off her bed, which creaked with relief, and headed back to his room in the Torre di Diavolo.
He had hung up his armor on it's normal racks and started to change into civilian dress when the little slip of paper caught his eye. He read it quickly, his eyebrows raised at the end. "Trouble? Can't be. I'd have gotten a tele directly to the Center if something was wrong..."
He shrugged, folded the paper, and tucked it into his purse, which he tied to his belt. He pulled on his favorite cream-colored linen shirt, tucked his necklace beneath its edge, and gathered his sparse belongings. When he was ready to go, he stepped out to the giant balcony, called to the wind, and blasted into the sky in the direction of Palpisol.

Taun was actually surprised with how much he and Zig had in common, but he jumped out of his reverie and said. "Come on let's go see what sort of havoc we can cause in the castle."

Zig grinned at Taun and said, "I'm sure we can find someone to mess with." One of her favorite pastimes was confusing people. It was just so enjoyable to play with someone else's mind. She turned and continued to walk toward the doors into the castle wondering just who they might meet. "Have you ever been in here before?" she asked Taun.

Taun was quickly running through plans in his mind when he was pulled out of his reverie by a question. "Hmm, oh no I haven't, because of the lovely mistake of my birth," He said gesturing to the wings on his back. "I've endured a certain amount of, ridicule shall we say."

Kiro kept his armor on. He decided that to really be ready for any kind of combat, he'll have to be use to the armor. SO decided to wear it all day. Not like it really mattered, he was already use to the weight, and putting on cloth would just make him feel awkward all day anyways.
He was now down at the Barracks. Right next to the Stables, it was were the soldiers use to stay because it was right at the gates. Now, in the ceremonial castle, it was more of a training area. He was here to practice his cuts, and to maybe sharpen his skills alittle more, or get all the kinks out of his style.

"I see," said Kat. She paused before asking, "What exactly is your heritage?" It felt a bit rude for her to ask such a thing, but she was curious. Wings were not exceedingly common among humankind.

"Well believe it or not I'm from the water kingdom." Taun answered. "The only reason I have these wings is because my grandmother was from the air kingdom."

"Actually I'm also an air-water hybrid. It's not quite as obvious, but my mother was from the water kingdom and my father from the air. I take after my dad though," said Zig. She found it odd that they had similar backgrounds and with the other similarities in their personalities they seemed strangely alike.

"Huh," Taun said interested that they were so much alike. "So which way do your powers lean?"

Kel left his position from the tower and began sliding down the side of the tower. A bout half way down he jumped off and fell toward the front gate. He landed nearby sundering the ground in a circle beneath him as he smashed into it. "Shouldn't do those hard landings..." He stood up and took a moment to look around.
