All was not at it seemed. This impression stayed with Tanith as she walked the beat of New York City. There was the layer of the population that was mortal, most likely ignorant to everything that was not on their immediate list of to do things. And then there was the world that Tanith lived in. Filled with all manner of beasts, and immortals all vying for attention, power, love, ambition. She could only imagine the kinds of struggles that went on between the classes of beings that lurked below the surface of the known mortal world.
Thus far she had been fairly lucky in that she had escaped most of their notice. She supposed the more visible that she became on the circuit of stomping grounds for the immortals, that luck would change.

::She roamed the streets of the city happy to be home. She had been gone for many days now and was only back to get some new things before she was off again. She decided to make this night count as she didnt know when she would be back again. She listened into the night to the daily tasks of the nocternal humans and other creatures. She stopped at a street corner for a short time, keeping her top hat over her eyes as she stood there, waiting for nothing. Her long black coat finally stopped moving on the gentle breezes which made some peace around her. She looked about again before crossing the street to continue her aimless walk around the city. She would eventually stop by Finns place to get some things, but for now she was content to roam aimlessly. She went window shopping for a while, not really looking for anything but looking all the same. She was always alert however to the scents and sounds around her::

Tanith follows the woman that passes her by, smelling not quite human.

::She caught another scent, different indeed from the mortals that have passed her before. She didnt stop however, keeping to herself untill she was sure this one would not cause her harm. Her long jacket bellowing behind her as she walked, never slowing but never speeding up either. She put her hands in her pocket, well, one in her pocket. Her right hand resting on the gun that was hidden in her coat held in its holster. Shw paused at another corner, turning to look at the items for sale in the window. Or so she made it look. She was listening, and taking in the scent of any following. Her hand never leaving her weapon for a minute.::

Tanith could see the tension in the woman's stance. She followed at a respectful distance, taking note of where her hands were. She had a hand tucked into a pocket, could be a weapon. Tanith throws the woman a nod in the reflection of the window that she was being checked over in. She smiles, and waves a little.

::She saw the womans reflection in the store window. With the hand that did not hold her weapon she moved the top hat she worn even further over her eyes. She turned around to the woman and gave a small nod in return. She had a habbit of not trusting people much anymore, not after the incident with Finn. She took a few steps away from the store window and waited again at the corner. The light said walk but she didnt pay it no mind. She would wait till the next one. The other woman had that long to ingage in a conversation if that was what she wanted::

Tanith strolled up to the woman who seemed to be waiting up for her. "You're the first of your kind that I've seen in the city so far" she says in a conversational tone. Not menacing, simply curious. She was a police officer in the mortal world, and positionless in the immortal one.

::She gave the woman a side glance from under the rim of her top hat. The statement was odd to her for some reason, but she ignored that. Looking back ahead of her she spoke, her voice had a tone of indifference to it.:: "Really? Would you be new to this city too?" ::She had something else she had wanted to say, but she knew when to hold her tounge. Although she had eased up a bit her hand still rested gently one her weapon wich unfortuneatly only held normal bullets at the moment.::

"New city... new job." she says, flashing her badge to the woman. Her unease was understandable, given the circumstances. Tanith liked to just roll with the punches, and take chances. She didn't know anyone in the city as of yet, but she was hoping to change that.
"Yourself?" she asks, nodding to the walk signal that was flashing again to prompt them to cross the street.

::She looked up to see the womans badge before moving across the street with her. She smiled though, remembering the fun Finn and her had with a cop once:: "Well I hope things are going well for you. You have a very respectable job." ::She kept her hat low but her hand had been removed from the gun now. She kept pace with her as they spoke:: "Well. I am kinda new. I have been gone a while and will be leaving again in the morning." ::She looked at the mortals walking around them::

::She looked to a clock in the window and seeing the time she looked to the woman. She was sorry she did not get her name but had to go. She bid the other woman a good night before walking off toward Finns place. She had to get some things then she would be off. She would leave in the morning and god only knew when she would be back again. She wished she could have seen FInn before she left, but it would seem the fates were always against her::

Ben drew his pistol only to have it knocked out of his hand by the super fast reflexes of the vampire. It turned the gun on Ben and fired. A sudden flash of light emitted from the Pistol as the Vampire turned to dust, A few safty features Ben had included in all his weapons.

Kyrre liked the winter. It meant it got darker earlier, so that the underworld could come out and play. Wrapped up warm, he slowly walks down the iced over street. Still busy as ever though, for this city never seems to rest, he pushes his way through the crowded streets, full of mortals eager to get home from work.
The foul stench of lycans and demons plagued the air, as usual - so he kept alert. There really wasn't much to do in this city. He didn't look too healthy, paler than usual, his eyes sullen and black. Most likely due to malnutrition, that and loneliness. He was in no fit state to fight if something happened. He would need to feed some time soon though. Shame, he didn't particularly like doing it.

Ben left the alley, he had whiped off the dust on his pistol and walked over to a bin, he pressed a red button on the side of the pistol then dropped the gun in a binas he walked past. A few seconds later the bin exploded.

General Boris Dragosani As he twisted in pain he managed to roll his eyes back enough to see who was there and he grabbed at her collar rather harshly in his pain. His mind felt like it was on fire as he layed there and fresh wave of tremors went through his body making his eyes roll back once again.
"Get me to the Coven!"
He spoke through bloody clenched teeth and then he was out like a light. Everything went black but in his unconcious mind he still got the images and the pain he got it all only he was unable to fight it again. He would need help he would need another psychic to go in and stop the flow if he was to regain conciousness. Where was Eihwa was she alright he was not receiving images of her but he could not help but wonder amongst all the pain of if all psychic vampires were suffering.
The darkness seemed to last a lifetime but infact it lasted only seconds before he was awake and thrashing about again. He had let go of Rogue and now he was weeping it hurt so much, watery blood tears feel down his face as he tried in vain to fight the assualt on his mind. ~ Eihwa, from skimming the rooftops, suddenly falls from her tracks like a fly, her mind reeling from the shock of Jaques's pain. The bridge she had formed with the man was crumbling yet had remained in it's dwindling connection for some time now as if weaning herself from him. Though she had tried to block herself from any direct communication, his thoughts of her strike out in agony and had caused her focus to glitch. It all happens so quickly and her body is pulled by mother nature to the hard cement below, landing with a sickening thud in an alleyway between two buildings. Her game with the Lycan would not be paused, as she doesn't expect it to when her consciousness returns after two minutes, plenty of time she realizes for the beast to gain considerable ground. Eihwa struggles to her feet and her body is charged with the task of healing those broken bones, tumbling back to the ground until her legs are mended. A piercing scream had escaped her mind, her lips unladen with such cries for help, but her attention is now on Jaques - forcing her to seek out the Coven as quickly as possible. Her refreshed legs start her with haste toward said house while her eyes and ears keep a stern lookout for the Lycan. ~
