((...well, methinks it's time to get Alec back into the game as well!
And seriously, I leave you guys alone for 2 months and I have to come back to THIS!? You people LIVE off of drama, don't you? *sighs* Guess I'll just have to have Alec pull double duty as the school psychologist. lulz))
There was a small layer of dust in Alec's classroom, except of course in the spot where he had teleported away in a flash of fire and smoke. The room was quiet. It had been about a week since Alec had left on his personal excursion, and his classroom hadn't been used at all. But something was happening. The air was becoming hotter, and the wind outside was picking up slightly. Suddenly, a small fire erupted just behind the desk, and within minutes it had grown to the size of a tall, skinny man. Soon the flames began to die down, and standing back behind his old desk was none other than Alec Leaton, sporting a very nice tan and a new kilt that he was proudly wearing. "The Scottish highlands really are beautiful this time of year," he said to himself as he laid a bagpipe on the desk. Alec took a look around his classroom and sighed softly. "The clean-up staff here apparently isn't doing their job." With that Alec clapped his hands together, and immediately a huge gust of wind blew through the classroom. It blew all of the dust out of the room and through the windows, making the room look spotless. Alec looked around again, this time with a smile on his face. "Much better." With a soft sigh Alec sat down in his chair and leaned back, stretching out his muscles as he attempted to relax for a few more seconds. Once that short moment of bliss was over though, Alec snapped his finger, which magicked up a note on the headmaster's desk. It read as thus: I'm back, feel free to lecture me now. Alec smiled softly, but with a hint of worry showing in his features. He truly hoped that things had gotten slightly better since he left. The amount of drama this school was capable of producing in a few short days was simply staggering to him.

((YAY ALEC!!! Someone to slap sense into Ialo again!!))
"Perhaps what's even more frightening is that I considered it," Ophiuchus replied to Riser's biting remarks. "Or that your math is slightly awry. No matter, I'll take care of the school defenses."
He looked over at his student. "Lin, I'm sorry, but that potion recipe is going to have to wait a few hours. Administered properly, I sincerely doubt that you'll run out before then."
While he was saying that, he had happened to have been analyzing the school inside his head, examining the current defenses, and felt right away when Alec's presence flared into existence inside the school. That pleased the healer, knowing the spellcasting teacher was back.
He looked around him, searching for a piece of paper and a pen, and finding none, forced said items to appear in his hands, and scrawled out a quick note. Meeting in the healing classroom, now. Ophi sent it to Alec's desk, without bothering to sign it.
"Now," he addressed the men (and the girl) before him. "These patients need to rest. The clinic is only so big, so I'm going to the classroom, and anyone who is concerned with matters regarding the school and its position in the lovely upcoming... scuffle, are free to follow me to said classroom, and discuss said matters."

Adolf frowned deeply enough to be clearly visible. He was obviously troubled by... well, by something. What was anyone's guess... but it couldn't be anything good. As unintentionally mysterious as he was, for something like this to bother him meant it must be something big. He stood up. "I will come."

Alec was just about ready to nod off for a bit when the note from Ophi appeared on his desk. Alec noticed it, picked it up, read it, and sighed softly to himself. "And here I was thinking things were under control." Alec almost laughed at that concept: Mystic Fountain under control. Alec reluctantly stood up from his chair and took off the kilt he hadn't bothered to change out of yet. Thankfully he had on his normal clothes underneath it, so it was a simple fix. Once he was ready, Alec simply inhaled deeply, allowing himself to meld into the air this time. A few moments later he melded back into reality in the healing classroom like Ophi asked. The classroom was empty at the moment, so Alec decided to sit on the desk and wait for the old snake to show up.

Lin sighed but slowly stood up. She would have loved to have learned the potion recipe now, but she trusted her mentor to know what was best.
She winced/glared at Riser as she passed him and went to her mentor's classroom. She sighed in relief when she got there and didn't feel an overwhelming dark energy nearby. She kept the water barrier up around her, though, just in case Riser showed up.
She automatically took a seat at one of the chairs behind the long tables, where her assigned spot usually was.

Ophiuchus left the clinic, expecting the others to meet at the classroom.
The healing classroom was right next to the clinic, naturally, and it only took a few seconds to slip through a door in the back of the clinic office and go through a small storage room, on the other side of which was the healing classroom.
He looked, and saw that Alec was already there. "Nice to see you again, Professor Leaton. How was your vacation?" Ophi looked him over briefly, and noted the tan.

Adolf walked silently behind Ophi. He nodded briefly to the man, who Ophiuchus had addressed as Leaton. He vaguely recalled seeing him before when he'd followed Athena for her classes one day, though she had called him something else. Alec, right? He taught some sort of magic or spellcasting class, if Adolf remembered correctly. He usually did.

Alec saw Lin enter the room first, and greeted her with a smile and a nod. "Hello there Lin, nice to see you here. How have things been?" Alec also nodded back to Adolf in response. He didn't say anything though, Alec didn't really know the man that well. He only remembered him from the one time he decided to follow Athena to class.
It was then that Alec saw Ophi enter the classroom and shot the healer a friendly smile. "It was relaxing. It really cleared my head up. I think I can handle all the craziness that seems to plague this school daily now." Alec looked at Ophi's features and noticed that he seemed to be rather worse for the wear. Not beat, but physically tired. Something was sapping the snake's energy from him, and at this school it could be any number of things. Alec decided to n** things in the bud and ask Ophi about it. "Speaking of which, I take it something rather unpleasant has happened, or will happen soon?"

Lin looked at Professor Leaton with a smile, but a slightly confused one at that. Why was he talking like he had been gone from the school? She hadn't really paid attention to if she had seen him around the school or not. So much had happened lately that she hadn't paid much attention to anything. Heck, she had been at Bai Ching for a few days herself.
She then saw Professor Akakios enter the classroom and heard the exchange between her two professors. Apparently Professor Leaton had been gone lately. Well, shame on her for not noticing.
She nodded and smiled to Professor Leaton to show that she wasn't ignoring him, but she didn't want to speak and answer her questions when Professor Akakios had to speak soon.

"It never fails," the Serpent responded in a terse voice. "I don't even know where to begin on what happened after you left... Let's begin with the part where Miss Wolfe was murdered, Danni came back, and Setsuka was released."
He sat down on top on the teacher's desk. "Oh, and the bit where Ialo thought it would be a great sport to chase after Danni and engage the most powerful dark magic user in this world while under the influence of high-level anti-anxiety potions. Naturally, not to mention that Riser now had the blades of Tempora and Verus. So! Where would you like me to begin?"
((I have to leave soonish, so I encourage everyone's character to chip in with what they know and are concerned about, so the scene doesn't stall because Ophi is solely leading the conversation.))

If it was possible for a human's brain to malfunction, the sound that came out of Alec's head was about as close as it could come. Alec's eyelid began to twitch slightly as his smile quickly faded into a blank frown. Slowly, Alec just let his face rest in his hands as he groaned audibly. Too many thoughts were running through his head right now, far too many to deal with at once. So Alec simply talked though his hands, not even wanting to put in the effort to raise his head up and look at Ophi directly. "Just start from the beginning, and try to be concise. I don't think I can handle all that information at once in detail."

Ophiuchus nodded. He felt for Alec, truly, being plunged into an atmosphere such as this one. "Danni's soul was brought back by the Ancients," he said slowly. "But her memories were still locked. I'm not sure how they were unlocked, but it wasn't in the Ancient's plan to do so, so soon." Ophiuchus did not yet know that it was Ialo who had triggered Danni's memories, or how he did so.
"And that's the simplest part."
He folded his hands and waited for Alec to wish him to continue.

Alec was relieved to hear that Danni was back, and in one piece no less. He had hoped that Ialo or someone would have been able to bring her back, and that hope had been thankfully fulfilled. He would make a point of trying to see her later, just to check up on her and see how she was. But Alec still had to hear the rest of the story, so he simply moved his hand in a circular motion, signaling that Ophi should continue with the slew of updates that were undoubtedly coming.

Lin couldn't help but roll her eyes as she listened, which was very rare for her to do. She slowly stood up from her desk. "Not to stop the progress of the current conversation, but if we are simply going to talk about Isadora Rinaldi again, I am going to leave. I have more important things to take care of, such as the well being of the other students here at this school, rather than to rehash what happened to her again. I swear, it is as if this entire school revolves around that one individual."

Adolf frowned momentarily and sent a sharp look to the elven girl. Had she not been listening? There was going to be more to this conversation. Adolf himself didn't know (and thusly, didn't really care) much about the Danni girl, but he was patient enough to wait it out. He had been warming up to Lin, but this was silly. Did she have some sort of dispute with Rinaldi?
