  Rise Kujikawa   "Oh, look at you. A big boy with a gun. " Matching his own sarcasm, Rise continued to play it as calmly as possible, even when the Persona was fully summoned and now behind her, she only cast a quick glance behind her, slowly inching herself away from it if at least a few safer feet away. She was nervous,there was no denying that, she just didn't want Adachi to see that. "Do you think i'm the defenseless one out of everyone? Changes can happen, though for a person like you, I suppose that is something you will never understand! Someone so unwilling to change..."
And then, those last words came causing something to spark in her eyes Adachi might never of seen before."Play with you? Oh, why didn't you say so before! " He had just given her the leverage she needed, and she wasn't going to waste this opportunity! Slowly, Rise began to take steady, calm steps toward him. The look in her eyes was almost enough to make most guys back away in fear, but probably not Adachi. Only stopping when she was right in front of him, her eyes never left his cold ones. Why was she so close? For her, that seemed pretty risky, what with him holding a gun, but it also meant his Persona couldn't attack her without causing harm to him. At least, that's what she hoped. With her own frighting look, came a look of seduction....
What was she doing? Distraction was sometimes the best way to win a fight for the less skilled. The second she saw her plan working, and his mind wandered the wrong way, he would suddenly feel a sickening pain to his gut, followed by more kicks and punches then he could probably defend they came to quick and sudden. Lastly, while stick giving him a smacking of a life-time he might not ever forget, he was thrown into the air to meet more punches from the 'helpless girl' of the investigation team. Had all of her attacks successfully hit him, he would fall too the ground.
"Hmph..To think you believe I would ever PLAY with you.Is your name
Yu!? I think not! " While he was likely laying there own the ground in pain and disoriented, he would feel the pressure of her boot come in contact with his chest as she placed it there, pushing him further down to keep him there. "What do you have to say now? Fake President? I think I win this time. Now, Unless you want another beating, you are going to go back on the air, and recall everything you just said about Avalanche, and dismiss your kill-happy curfew! "

Tohru Adachi "You wanna play hero? Then all you're gonna do is wind up dead..." When she began to step closer to him, Adachi knew what she was doing. He wasn't dumb. He already knew she was with Yu, after all. That wasn't going to change overnight just because they hadn't seen each other. So if he knew, why didn't he stop her? He wanted to see exactly what she was capable of. Clearly, she was going to become his enemy, so it would be best to gauge how strong she was.
After her little flurry of attacks, he would indeed find himself on his back, with her shoe pressed against his chest. "Oh my, is this how you like to have fun with Yu? I'm a little jealous..." And with that, she would suddenly feel her arms grabbed and pulled behind her back, so she would be unable to do anything. Magatsu-Izanagi didn't just go away, after all. Pulling her away, the Persona began to pull her towards the outside area of the office, where she was lifted over the edge, and she could see just how far of a fall she was being threatened with here. "See you in hell..." Adachi said dully, before Magatsu-Izanagi... dropped her. This may have seemed a bit extreme, but somehow, Adachi seriously doubted that she would actually hit the ground, all things considered... (( OOC: ))

Flint Director of SOLDIER  Flint drew his blade and stabbed Magatsu-Izanagi even though the attack hit it missed Rise. "So you think your tough I heard you ran away like a cowered form AVALANCH. What's the matter you and your friend scared of them" he asked.

Yu Narukami "Behold—THE TRUTH!" And Adachi was right. A pair of teenagers, wearing the same uniform as Rise, began to close on the building. "This is it. Adachi must be inside. We'll-""Yu!" Yosuke's voice broke him from his thoughts, as he pointed up to something falling at an alarming rate. "Look! Is that-?!"Yu wasted no time. "PHOENIX!" He shouted, shattering the corresponding tarot card in his hands. Immediately, the Persona Phoenix was summoned, and Yu immediately hopped on its back. Though maybe it would've been just as effective to send the bird to catch the girl, this is all that seemed to immediately come to his mind. And the bird took off.
As she was falling, she would hear a voice shout out to her. "RISE!" Yu stood on the bird, holding his arms outstretched to her as she fell, and positioned himself directly below her, so that she would fall directly into his arms and he would catch her. "Gotcha..!" He gasped out. The Persona would then slowly lower to the ground, though it seemed irritated that it was being ridden... If Rise was close enough, she would be able to hear how his heart was racing. That was probably one of the most terrified he's ever been. If he had been even slightly off, what would have happened?
Hopping off the Persona once it lowered after a bit, he went to put Rise back down on her feet, if that's what she wanted. "...Are you alright?""What the hell happened?!" Yosuke shouted. "Did Adachi do this?!""..." It seemed that way, but Yu really hoped she said no... "...This isn't the reunion I had been hoping for..." He said, smiling sheepishly."...Ah..." Yosuke coughed. "Sorry about that. It's good to see you, Rise." He said, smiling to her. She must have been shaken by that fall... The last thing she needed was someone shouting right next to her. For how smart he could be, Yosuke sometimes didn't think... (( OOC: ))

((OOC I would but my computer seems to be having trouble no matter what I do some of my posts end up in other spots I think I might need to run a system check I will let you know if it is fixed so this will not happen again. Rise Kujikawa Clearly, by the look on Rise's features, she seemed very confident that she had won this so called battle. He was down, her foot planted firmly at his chest with enough pressure to keep him there, what else could he do? She didn't forget about Magatsu-Izanagi, ether. Her bad assumption that it wouldn't bother her if she was close enough to Adachi was likely a bad one. "Aren't you fun--!? Ah! What!? " Her words would go unfinished as she felt her arms grabbed suddenly, and put behind her back, leaving her unable to do much else to defend herself. When the Persona began to pull her toward the outside of the office, Rise's brave attempt had come to an end with her now struggling against the Persona with no luck in escape. "ADACHI!?! You...wouldn't.....!!?!
And as she was let go, her answer would come to her with everything traveling at the speed of light while she fell to what would soon be her death!
There was really no way of getting out of this, was there? Why did she go up there again? What was she hoping to prove exactly? Maybe she did hope she would be able to change his path somehow, but now she knew this was an attempt she should never have tried.
As she was falling, though, through the heavy wind she could swear she heard...Yu's voice. Did she die already, and end up in some kind of Yu heaven? What was going on? It was so loud, and with her eyes tightly closed she really couldn't tell. All she knew was an end was coming at any second!
......And then, she felt herself hit something! Though...this something was not hard like stone pavement, this was soft, and warm....Slowly, almost hesitant to open her eyes and see some grim sight from above, Rise would open her eyes to the silver-haired love of her life looking down at her as she was now held in his arms after he caught her. " S-Senpai..." She said softly, through the disbelief in her eyes, she couldn't believe it was him. And in the most dire of moments, he had shown up. Without realizing it, she found herself hugging him close. As close as she could for fear that this was some kind of messed up, teasing dream. She wanted to stay just..like..this!
"....It's reall you? " As her mind began to become more aware and the shock of everything starting to wear off, it became more apparent that this was indeed real. The sound of his rapidly beating heart proved that, just as hers seemed to be matched with the same rapid beating. A fall like that wasn't something to get over instantly!
When the Phoenix touched the ground, and Yu hopped off the Phoenix with her still in his arms, she only seemed to hug him all that much tighter when he tried to let her back to her feet. Well, that was until she saw Yosuke was there, too. Hanging onto him like that might not be to..proper in front of his presence. After a moment longer, he would feel her arms lighten their hold on him, before she let herself down gently. It was clear she didn't want to, but for now it was best. They probably didn't want to stay near this building much longer anyway. "...Ah..I almost can't believe it...I thought for sure I was a goner.." She sighed out, nodding. "I'm alright, thanks to you...Senpai.." She added that last bit in a slightly sweeter tone..
Finally, as Yosuke began to shout his questions, Rise tuned to him. She couldn't blame him for shouting at this point, she was taking a guess they seen the broadcast, which was why they were here. "This may be my fault...I might of acted first.....I thought I had him! But...." Well, that happened of course. After a long pause, both Yu and Yosuke were suddenly grabbed into a quick, but affectionate hug suddenly. "In any case, were together now! I'm so happy you are both safe....But, maybe we should leave this area? Um, I have a small studio near by. We should go there.." Not only to discus things, but there was someone there they might want to see.

Tohru Adachi "You wanna play hero? Then all you're gonna do is wind up dead...""The weather is brutal, huh?" Adachi said, amused as he heard a thump hit his window. Too bad it was a very strong window. Not strong enough to stop a WEAPON's blast, maybe, but enough to stop a helmet it seemed. He glanced at the cameraman. "Are we ready?" It had been less than ten hours since his last broadcast, and things had already gone to hell in the city. He felt like he could help fan the flames a little. You know, for fun. Not to mention, he had Avalanche backed into a corner. This would be the last kick to flush them out of Midgar for good. At least for the foreseeable future. The cameraman nodded, counting down from five with his fingers again, and pointing to Adachi when he went live. Again, all the televisions would turn on, and away from any channel they had been tuned to, and show this feed. "Hey again," he said kindly to the camera.After the three had said their greetings and had begun to head quickly towards Rise's studio, Yosuke would suddenly stop in front of a shop that had a TV facing out of the front window. "Hey!" He shouted to the other two. Yu turned quickly. "Look..." He said, showing them that Adachi was back on air... Crossing his arms, he gave Yu a look, that Yu returned. They nodded, facing the TV now to see what he was going to say."...I can't believe I have to say this..." He said, sighing. "...It's been reported to me that dozens of civilians have been murdered... all by... Avalanche." He acted so pained while he said that, and it was a very well done act. "...I... I just can't believe it came to this. I wanted to avoid conflict, but it seems I can't. ...One of my own friends, someone from my world, came to me and attacked me as well. We had been friends for years, but... Avalanche corrupted her.""That's a load of sh**!" Yosuke shouted. He was so clearly talking about Rise. But then, how would the citizens know that? "That little...!""I had hoped for Avalanche's cooperation in our efforts to defeat the Beast, but they seem intent on hogging all the glory for themselves. Selfish. There are so many lives at stake, and they want to think about personal glory... It makes me sick!" He grunted, sighing. "Sorry... I don't want to get too emotional... in light of these, for lack of better words, murders, I have a few things to change and add to what I said before. Firstly, too much death has already wrought this city... that's why I'm changing the curfew I made earlier. Anyone seen by ShinRa Infantrymen after 10 P.M. will be escorted to their homes. There will no longer be a curfew that is shoot on sight. There's already been too much death..." He shook his head, sighing. "Second, any and all members currently and hereafter known as working with Avalanche are hereby wanted by ShinRa, dead or alive. Infantrymen and SOLDIERS will be sent to arrest them, and if they resist arrest, our troops will have permission to kill." He could hear a faint cheer coming from the city of Midgar as he said that. He had to keep himself from smirking. Could things be going any better for him? "Lastly, I've been given some strange reports... reports from all around the world. In some rare instances, even one that Avalanche themselves experienced, there have been reports of strange doppelgangers appearing of people, who have golden eyes and transform into monsters...""What?!""He doesn't mean..!""These creatures claim to be the person's "Shadow," and if the person denies the creature's words, it would turn into a monster, and kill them. There has been no way for these people to fight back, almost as if these things are immune to normal attacks...""No way... There are shadows here, too?!""Something seems off..." Yosuke looked at him questioningly. Yu said nothing. ...Why is he acting like he doesn't know what they are..?"...Unfortunately, this is a result of Avalanche as well..." Adachi said, sighing once more. "You see, there's a scientist who works with Avalanche. His name is Stark Liler, a native of the land of Wutai. He's been conducting experiments on humans, kidnapping civilians like yourself, orphans, usually, and taking them to his laboratory. He's been conducting tests to try to find the weakness to the human heart, so he can use it against his enemies. ...But in the middle of the experiments, he brought this into the world. Now, no one is safe from the darkest parts of their hearts coming out and attacking them. This has caused many deaths already, one of which was Avalanche's own Leander Leonhart. Sad, but I guess they had it coming. This is their doing..." He placed his head in his hands, as a map suddenly appeared on-screen, leading from Midgar to a location with an X on it on the map. "Through a lot of work, we've succeeded in finding this base of his. We urge you to leave this in our hands... We will deal with this man and his sick ambitions. Don't worry, ShinRa will protect you." He said, smiling assuringly. Yes, this led straight to Stark's laboratory. A portrait of Stark would then be shown on-screen as well. "Of all Avalanche, he is our top priority right now." After all, he's so damn clever that if anyone could find a way to dissuade the people from me, it would be him... Adachi thought to himself. "Now, that's all I have to share with you for now. I'll keep updating you all as news comes to me. Thank you all for your support, and remember, ShinRa will protect you. Even if Avalanche has changed this much... we'll do everything we can to keep you all alive and well. Bye now." He said, waving as the feed cut to black."...!!!" Yosuke was breathing... very heavily. "THAT'S THE BIGGEST LOAD OF SH** I'VE EVE HEARD!!" He shouted, the rage obvious in his voice. He was beyond pissed off. "DAMN it!!""...Yosuke, calm down," Yu insisted."How the hell am I supposed to stay calm?!" Yosuke snapped back. "Where does he get off lying about SHADOWS of all things?! That b*****d...!""Yosuke...""..." Yosuke took a deep breath, rubbing the crease above his nose. "I know! ...I know..." He sighed. "Sorry..." He said, raising his head. "To think I had almost thought that that guy was changing... But of course I was wrong. He's the same b*****d that killed Saki-Senpai..." He said, his voice cracking a bit."...N..." Yu wanted to say something. He wanted to defend Adachi. But what could he say? He turned away, lowering his head slightly. ...Adachi... Why are you doing this...? Unknown to Rise, Yosuke and all of his friends, Adachi had helped him save their world. If Adachi hadn't been there, Hi-no-Kagutsuchi would have almost certainly been able to destroy their world. I thought you said you would obey the world's rules... He heard Adachi's voice in his head. This is my world... Yu shook his head, trying to shake those thoughts out of his head. There was no point in dwelling on it. "...Come on. We should hurry. We might be attacked by civilians next if we don't." (( OOC: ))

Rise Kujikawa Rise kind of just fell silent, what was there to say? She was certainly enraged over this! But, screaming about it at this point wouldn't help them in anyway, it might help to drawn unwanted attention to them, though. "Everything he's said is about Avalanche..." So, again, she didn't meet any of the main members of the team, she just trusted in the one little girl she had met, who just happened to be a member of Avalanche as well. "From what I know of them, they've struggled to protect this planet. Risked lives to save it, even lost many in the struggles...And now, Adachi is doing this to turn the world they fought so hard to protect...against them? This is so cruel...." And even harder to believe it really was happening. There was no redemption for such acts.. "We should help them...Don't you agree? He's attacking innocent people, they don't deserve this. " Rise's mood had gone a little shallow, there was no more room for laughter at this point.
"First, we need to get to the studio's...Fast! " There was reason to hurry up the pace, she wasn't sure how many people knew Juliet was a member of Avalanche, and who was with her right now? Were they even still inside, after all the time?

"Talking" & 'Thinking' Kesshin wrapped in a dirty old cloak stepped in front of the Shinra building with his sword wrapped as well. It had been a long time since he stepped foot in Midgar and to be honest he was avoiding it. Kesshin had unpleasant memories in this place though he had more good than bad, the bad outweighed the good in Kesshin's eyes. He was only here because he was almost out of money and needed a job, slaying monsters, guard duty, anything that would put food in his stomach and keep him going. Kesshin was even more hesitant because the city of Midgar seemed restless with all these things goin on, curfews, being shot at on sight, this group who seemed to be some type of terrorist called Avalanche, he felt as if he was walking into something he may not be able to get out of, it was seemingly a natural feeling for him whenever he came to Shinra. It looked like Shinra had their hands full and like it or not with all this turmoil it was perfect for Kesshin's line of work, whether it be hunting this Beast created by these Cetra people, or these so called "shadows", "Shadows..." Kesshin muttered to himself Kesshin felt as if he experienced that already before he was sealed... fighting a doppelganger of himself that was far stronger then he alone; did that mean it would arise from his heart once again even though he has come to terms and accepted that bitter part of himself. Kesshin let out a sigh, 'I can't believe I am doing this... and that Adachi fellow doesn't look like the most trustworthy... something about this just feels a bit off to me' he thought his paranoia kicking in a bit; another thing he was unsure about was the collapsing of the cave that seemed like it was only yesterday, were they behind it? Or was it just a natural occurrence? Did it really matter now? He had been traveling around this world living from job to job, hunt to hunt, for at least a year now, he was 20 he felt it time to stop avoiding this place even if it seemed like it was as bad as he remembered when leaving all those years ago.
Enough thinking, Kesshin walked in to the front desk, "H-Hello? I'm an Ex-SOLDIER here to know if Shinra would be willing to pay me to lend them my services." Kesshin asked. He wanted an audience with the president, after all he coudn't just go into the president's office, well he could but he was sure that was a good way to make enemies and he wasn't all that interested in that right now. Hopefully this would be a job worth doing, seemed like Midgar still had many problems that needed solving. You keep going... Thats what she'd say... An Ex-SOLDIER? or was the president just to busy? either way it didn't matter, Kesshin didn't really expect much from Shinra but their pockets were deep and his were pretty empty so it was worth a shot. Seemed like he'd have to go elsewhere in search on financing but he wondered where? He could always appeal to this Avalanche group for hiring but he wasn't to sure about them, what with these negative claims about them going around, and the citizens didn't seem to happy about them either. Kesshin removed himself from the Shinra building, he needed a place to think about his next move, or wherever he was going maybe their would be a client in need of some assistance. You keep going... Tohru Adachi "You wanna play hero? Then all you're gonna do is wind up dead...""So, Avalanche is officially out huh?" Adachi asked, his legs up on his desk as he tossed a file onto it.
"Yes, sir," the infantryman said. "We're tracking a small group that seems to be escorting the remaining members out, but for all intents and purposes, Midgar is ours."
Adachi smirked, nodding. "..." He thought for a moment. "And Avalanche?"
"We have two disguised Turks in Balamb Garden, sir. We will receive updates on Avalanche's current affairs and plans as they are formulated."
"Good," the president said. "Is this Stark guy dead yet?"
"Negative... He seems to have put up some sort of barrier that's preventing any and all access. It's some sort of tech not even we have..."
"...Well, find some way around it. If we can capture his lab, who knows what we could find. The man's inventions alone could give us the edge we need on Avalanche. I know as well as the next guy that civilians are fickle things. Hell, just look at the way they're treating their saviors! Their support will only get us so far... but, I'd like to keep that advantage. Send word that I want propaganda. A lot of it. You know, the sort of things that subtly paint Avalanche out to be evil, then show ShinRa is a company of messiahs by comparison. "ShinRa will protect the people!" "Why would Avalanche hide a worldwide threat like the Beast?" "ShinRa's homes for the homeless is revolutionary!" You know, things like that."
"Understood, sir. I'll make sure it gets done." The man said with a nod.
"Alright. Get out." Adachi said, to which the man bowed, before walking down the stairs that led away from the office.
Taking his legs off the table, Adachi leaned forward, propping his head against his arm. "..." He thought to himself for a few moments. "I wonder what little Nanako is doing right now..." He pondered. No doubt she had seen or heard what was happening. That was for the best. It was better that she realize he was beyond 'saving'. He needed to make that clear to everyone.
He already knew it himself.
Magatsu-Izanagi appeared before him, looking at the madman. Adachi looked up at his Persona. "...Fancy a game of poker?" He asked. It said nothing. "Yeah, thought not..." He said, and the Persona vanished again. (( OOC: ))
