Kat had been wondering around - again - and somehow had found herself at the Dining Hall. She was just about to turn and go someplace else when her stomach grumbled, making it's statement that she needed something to eat.

She pulled the door open and truded into the spacious area, her green eyes peering out from behind her orange bangs in interest at her new surroundings, but she stuck close to the wall to try and prevent drawing attention to herself which was exactually the last thing she wanted to do.

She walked up to one of the machines and wondered how it all worked, she looked around to make sure that no-one was waiting to use the machine she was at and took her time to try and figure out how to order food.

What happened to the old fashioned way? She thought with a small, frustrated sigh.

Ananda looked at the bunny-girl in amusement. Walking up to her, she said softly, "Need some help?" She took the girl's hand, bringing her to one of the machines on the wall. "Here. All you do is put your ID in that slot there, and then tell the machine what you want to eat." She pointed out the slot to the girl. "Like this." She dug out her own ID, putting it in the slot. When the macine beeped "Order, please," she said "Diet cola and fries, please." The food appeared in a slot neer the bottom, and she pulled it out, grinning. "See? Easy."

Hina had been trying to track down where the students got their food, but it was difficult! There wasn't any kitchen that she could smell, what was going on?! Suddenly, she smelled some food that hadn't been there a moment ago, and saw a girl take a tray with food on it out of a slot on the wall. Then another girl did the same, although she mentioned something about needing an ID card.
Did she even have a card? Hina tapped her foot as she looked at the ceiling, trying to think. Papa-Doc had said she'd have everything she'd need, but she didn't remember a card. Only thing left to do was look, she decided. She pulled her backpack off, and dumped it's contents on the floor in front of her. Sitting down on the floor, she began pawing through all her belongings, trying to see if she had an ID card.
Coloring book, plushies, bag of cookies, (Ooh, she forgot she had those! Crunch, crunhc, crunch...) crayons, map of the grounds, all sorts of stuff, but no card! There was the plastic thingy with her picture on it, was that close enough? She decided to try it and put everything else back in her backpack, knowing not to leave her toys out where someone can step on them.
Getting to her feet, she moved to the machine and pushed her card at it. Nothing happened. Pushing harder, she tried to put it in the machine, not even noticing there was a slot for it.
"I guess it won't work..."

Kat looked back at the two other girls, head bowed slightly and a look on her face that echoed her laughts. Should I help that girl get her food? She wondered but it seemed like that other girl had helped enough.

She let out a small sigh and found an empty booth not too far away, she trudged over to it, her bootys thudding dully against the floor and she placed her tray down on the table carefully, sliding into one of the seats.

She picked at her burger a bit as she let her green eyes wonder the Dining Hall. It was so large, and there were many students there, and eating in public made Kat feel nervous again.

Ananda was nearly pulled off her feet as the girl started dragging her off. Holding her food tightly to keep from dropping it, she gently pulled her hand away from the bunny girl and walked more slowly over to the table, eating another fry. She opened up her cola, taking a sip and looking with amusement at the bunny girl with her plate of cookies. Too friendly for her own good, that one. Wonder what kind of powers she has, to get sent here? She stayed standing, since she had been planning on leaving soon anyways, waiting to see if either of the girls would introduce themselves.

Hina noticed the other girl hadn't sat down yet, and pulled the chair out for her, offering her a cookie too. she mucnhed one herself, although munched wasn't quite the right word. Inhaled might be closer. It was gone in a flash, having been nibbled to nothing in less than half a minute.
"I'm Hina! Will you be my fweinds?"
Hina gave both of them the puppy-eye look, pouting just a smidge even while she gnawed on another cookie. She hadn't really had a friend before, 47 hardly counted as he wasn't any fun, and Papa-Doc, well, Papa-Doc was Papa-Doc!

Souno slowly lifted his head from the table and felt something warm and wet running down his cheek. He had been sleeping. He brought his hand up to his face and dabbed at the stickyness on his face. He looked at his fingers and shouted. "Ah Blood!" He fell out of his chair and watched as the pool of katchup on the table top dripped onto his nose, "Oh....just katchup...." He stood up and looked around the dining hall. There was a group of three girls chatting a short distance away. "Oh wonderful....I had an audience for my outburst..." He sighed and grabbed a napkin to wipe up the mess.
