Character name, rank, and a link to their journal: Namielle - Guardian Cat (Order)
HP: 45 HP
Action: Pew, pew, laser at that Generator.
Damage: 7 (+5 Faction Bonus) = 12
Location: F6

The Negaverse aren't here to hurt you...

Namielle closed her eyes for the briefest of moments, a sad smile appearing on her lips. Ah, but if only he had been here to feel the sense of vindication he so rightfulyl deserved. Alas, she was on her own, with only Realta and Caerynn in her immediate radius. It was not a good position to be in, particularly given the absurd power signatures erupting from the perimeter where she could only assume much worse lay. So in the end, it really had been a trap and those who had pilfered energy from Earth were no better than the very agents that stood before them.

Or rather in the grand scheme of things, their reputation had been severely damaged. However the manner in which Caerynn reacted gave credence to the fact that perhaps not everything was quite as it seemed. The declaration of her own leader had come as a shock to even her and that was perhaps the biggest tell of all. Their fierceless leader had kept them in the dark and now he was asking for loyalty in the face of what, betrayal of those that had provided hospitality?

He would suit the Negaverse, he certainly had the appropriate disposition.

"Do not put yourself at risk against those who will not show mercy," she peered passed Caerynn towards their guests. "Because contrary to your trusted Commodore's remarks, they will kill you if they are instructed to do so," she shook her head as she turned her attention to the generator. Now she couldn't do much with this at a glance, but when it came to technology Mauvians were rather good at tinkering.

...If all else failed she'd just start ripping wires out.

"Right then, where do I start?" she murmured before eyeing one of the plates on the generator. Mustering as much strength as she could muster, she then shot her laser towards it in the hopes that perhaps she might knock it off.

She couldn't do much against an agent, but if Caerynn could buy her some time she might be able to do something with this generator instead.

HP: 75 HP
Action: Examining the generator
Damage 1d10 + 5
Location: E6 > F6

Dejanira decided to look at the generator before attacking with everything going on it was hard to understand who was on what side, she was kinda sure that this was part of the problem the announcement that white moon were not to be allowed to stop them worried her a great deal. Who was good, who was evil? Their world was so simple, or so it seemed a little bit ago. Perhaps that was a foolish thought, but she had been chosen to fight for the side of right? Right? She shook her head and looked around trying to figure out what was the correct side.

Eternal Ida
HP: 100
Action: Moving to F6 to attack Bloodstone with magic
Damage 3 +7 +4 = 14
Location: F5, moving to F6

The feel of soft, tiny kitty paw on her face absolutely melted the eternal sensei and her eyes softened, some of her anxiety melting away as well. This was why she still fought… protecting people like this very sweet little guardian, her friends and her family, as well as all the innocent people who lived in the city. Ida sighed softly, smoothing a hand down Illyria’s spine.

“Alright… but please stay close to me. I’ll do my best to protect you.” How much the small cat could do, she had no idea, and now there was someone to keep an eye on in the middle of what would become a war zone… joined not long after by another person to keep her eyes on.

“Tachibana!” Ida turned to frown at the little girl who called her name, before she stifled another sigh. Nothing to do for it now. “Things are going to get rough. Stay by me, okay? I’ll going to keep you safe, but I’ll need you stay close.” It was the best she could do for the moment. Caution her companions and just… wait.

Anticipation fizzled in her chest as the switch was thrown… and Chaos came. One, and then another, and then more.

Ida felt things slipping, turning sour, as more and more came, and in greater strength. Surrounding the large area. She shoved Illyria up onto her shoulder and turned, seeing generals on the nearest generators and hearing a disagreement break out near the center of the gathering. The Commodore’s voice commanding his troops not to attack. What was going on? She couldn’t spare much time to wonder about it, because the Negaverse was attacking and she could feel them penning them in from all sides. Was this a trap? She didn’t know.

Gathering herself, Ida moved towards the corner generator, throwing up a hand as she went. Glowing petals trailed after and formed the bow of her magic. “Heavenly Orchid Arrows!” Ida shouted as she released the arrow that appeared in her hands. It rushed in a flash of light towards the nearest general, exploding as it impacted.

Eternal Sailor Attack: Heavenly Orchid Arrows!
[What it does] An out-flung hand casts a trail of petals that form a bow-like shape. She takes it up and uses it to fire arrows of light with hardened petals as arrow heads. The arrows have an 'aura' of power to them and explode on contact. The explosion is more concussive, causing a pressure that can push a target backwards a foot or two, but doesn't do much in the way of actual damage. Unbalanced enemies could be knocked over, if they were caught unaware. Particularly heavy opponents may not be moved by the attack, but could be distracted or slowed by the pressure of it. Each arrow takes a lot of power to cast and her limit is three, which exhausts her and can force her to retire until she's rested.

HP: 50 HP
Action: Staying in C6
Damage
Location: C6

Lacaille was in a pickle her senshi magic wasn't for this sort of situation, she had no weapon to attack these generators, what was she going to do. She was stuck in this mess and chaos seemed to have sway over everyone. She sighed softly and looked around trying to see if there was a way she could help in this mess. She bit her lip and crossed her arms considering what she should do and what she could do. She considered hunting for rocks to throw at the generators though she didn't think it would do a whole lot.

Newgrange, Knight of Earth
HP: 100
Action: Attacking Generator D6 with his whip and using Knight magic (1/3) (causes earth shake around target)
Damage 7+7+5=19
Location: D6

Starlight was here, Newgrange was almost certain of it. He didn’t know if Whisler was, but he was convinced he’d seen the younger Polaris page moving North earlier. Hopefully to leave, but Newgrange couldn’t be sure and he hadn’t had time to catch up to move before there was a smother sensation of Chaos.

He felt small, pressured. Weak.

Desperate.

He didn’t know what was going on, or how long he was going to have to make a decision before all of his choices were taken from him. To his left, he’d seen the Negaverse agents arrive. He’d seen them attack.

He knew their intentions were hostile, and if they were trying to claim the generators, it was better to destroy them than entrust them to the Negaverse.

Newgrange wasn’t an attack first, ask questions later type of guy--but it didn’t seem like there was a reason to ask if the Negaverse was going to play nicely when they were already attacking.

His whip had the benefit of giving him reach, and he had a clean shot--so he took it.

Belmont, Page of Jupiter
HP: 50
Action: Attacking Generator D6 with his fist
Damage 7+3+1=11
Location: D6

When Sessrumnir told him to stay out of trouble, this was probably what he met. Conveniently, he was standing right over there, which was great for Belmont who had just spent the past few months taking his words to heart. He’d taken self-defense classes, he’d been careful while powering up, he didn’t make enemies.

He’d gotten a strange call and showed up here because he (foolishly?) believed that this was going to go well? Who could blame him, this was his first big thing.

And, he’d just seen the Negaverse Agents there--much stronger than him--attack. He saw them hit Sessrumnir, and why should he think that he should come in here with peace on his mind?

He wasn’t foolish though; an Earth Knight had attacked, and he followed suit while he (hoped) the Generals were distracted, before he fell back, close to Sessrumnir; he looked between him, and Alcor and Slidr and asked, “Are you okay?”

Cadet Valnyr - With Blaster (Pew Pew)
HP: 50 HP
Action: Attacking Large Generator, responding to Neryn though!
Damage N/A
Location: F2

She wasn't alone! She could feel the anger in the air but it wasn't necessarily at her as magic began to fall around her and more than one individual began to assault the generators with considerable gusto. In the end they had the same idea, yes the Negaverse might be here but the generators need to be to shut down first. Obviously it was important to stop them too, but while Valnyr was without hostile company she would do what she could to remove the generator from play on this side.

...or at least she had hoped she would be without hostile company.

Aogashima's magic might yet protect her if Neryn chose to fire, but as they called out to her she did at least look over her shoulder. Fear, trepidation, distress... They were all emotions that swept across their features. Valnyr could see the blaster in their hands, not yet fired but poised to do so, their tone imploring as they tried to make sense of why she had chosen to act as she had. A valid question, if posed at an inopportune time.

"Metallia is here," she replied gently and shook her head. "They are Metallia, why would they not hurt us if he had not bargained with them?" she asked again. It made sense to her even if others may not believe it. He might well have his reasons but what if they lost, what if they were left at the mercy of the White Moon... Or worse, what if they won and then the Negaverse simply betrayed them and consumed everything that they were?

"We promised so much, they welcomed us, they helped us," she paused briefly. "The Negaverse kill them and we have now surrounded them," she gazed at Neryn imploringly and motioned to Aogashima who was still so young, to Actea who had joined the fray and exhibited signs of being new as well. "You have heard the stories, you have heard what they do when they catch others."

"How can you condemn those who have been so kind, warm and trusting with that fate?" she shook her head. "We are better than this - is the restoration of our world at the expense of this one really what you want?"

She turned her gaze back to the generator and shook her head, she didn't really know what it did and if damaging this would even help, but she had to try.

"Or are we just supposed to destroy this world just like they do in the hopes that ours might survive, where will Metallia go next?" she pleaded. It might work, or it might not, either way she wouldn't be swayed from her course but she couldn't demand Neryn do the same. In the end they needed to determine their own paths and 'treason' was certainly not for everyone. She wouldn't blame Neryn, she would understood their choice if they chose to pull the trigger...

Einhornhöhle
HP: 50/50
Action: On the verge of a panic attack and questioning life choices.
Damage: None… yet.
Location: Physically C6, mentally anywhere but here…

For all the levels of fear, Ein was one step down from fainting. Whatever thought she had was completely gone. Fight or flight wasn’t even a thing in her mind right now. The grip on the lantern loosened and the golden weapon clamored to the ground beside her, a soft glow casting long shadow from the blades of grass beside it.

In truth, all she was capable of for a near solid minute was to stare wide-eyed, mouth agape while she watched and listened as the ambush commenced. This was exactly what she had feared the most and stupidly she did not take the out when it was given.

Suddenly her vision was blocked by a stranger's face. Golden eyes, vivid red hair and a uniform to match his natural features. Had she’d so much as glanced down perhaps Ein would have noticed the pair of butt wings attached to his hips. Her eyes did not wonder, however, and instead, she stared at him as if he were no different than the seven-foot-tall aliens that had lured them all here.

“What?” She blurted out.

Unfortunately, not even she knew why she blurted out such a question. Caia didn’t stutter in his quick explanation; in fact he was quite clear in stating who he was, what he could do, and that he had no idea why he was even here. Something the two of them shared in common but at least he was capable of doing something.

Wide eyes turned to Sava, desperate and pleading. She wordlessly looked to the Cosmos Knight for direction because right now they were surrounded and she had no idea what the hell to

Name Transcendant Squire Pendour
HP: 75
Action: Having a lot of feelings and calling out to Caedus
Damage n/a
Location: E5

A part of Pendour wanted to go home, to bury her head under her pillows and cry there, to turn a blind eye to whatever violence was about to happen this night. She'd done it, before. Literally, even.

She'd heard Lyndin say, though, that if anyone left now, it would blow their cover. She wasn't that selfish.

She could stay, even if battle was surely creeping up on them. She could watch the bloodshed, do everything in her power to mitigate it, and use Caedus's crystal to drain herself into oblivion afterwards.

She stayed where she was, let Encke wrap his arm around her shoulder, and she leaned into it, pressing her weight against his chest. "Don't go all offensive to protect me," she whispered, even as the Generals began to pop into existence, one by one. "It's your choice if you fight, but I don't want anyone hurt for my sake."

The senshi who arrived got an an awkward nod, and that was all. She was more focused Caedus's words, on the look on his face, on Lyndin.

Lyndin was saying not to fight the Negaverse at all. Well, he was saying it to his people, and it seemed strange. Something didn't connect. Was he trying to do this without violence after all?

It was the words he chose that made the lump go heavier and heavier in her throat. The Negaverse wasn't here to hurt the Velencyans, the Velencyans were meant to stand against Order, to protect their machines.

Oh, she realized, terribly slowly, as four Sovereigns came into existence, perfectly positioned behind each of the generators. He was betraying them.

Almost worse, he was betraying Caedus, who had just come back to this broken planet to try to help his friends.

Pendour's anger was always a quiet thing. She held it carefully, mostly in her jaw, although the rest of her body also stiffened against Encke's. Her eyes narrowed, found Lyndin, just for a moment. She shook her head sadly.

"Caedus," she found herself calling out, because he needed to know that someone was there for him, although she stayed where she was. There would be no stepping out in front of Encke, just in case. "Can you turn your machine off from there? I think the Negaverse is trying to take it over, and, um, that just seems like it could get awful as awful."

Although those nearby could see how tense she was, her voice stayed steady, just loud enough to cut through the growing Chaos.

Eternal Caliban
HP: 100/100
Action: Move from D3 to E4 (D3-E3-E4)

Caliban almost laughed at the presence of the Negaverse. Almost. It had been too predictable. Of course it wouldn't be that easy to just blast into the Negaverse. He could guess what the traitor was thinking. He looked over and shouted at him "You know you just made your own planet another target right?"

He was ready. He couldn't tell if the Negaverse had more on their side, but it appeared that many of the lower-ranked aliens were confused. Perhaps he had more reason to have trusted them than he thought, but they could still turn. It was only too bad that they couldn't have talked about the real plan, though their King appeared just as confused.

For a moment Caliban wondered if the King had been sold out to Metallia in the first place.

Whatever the situation was, they needed to destroy the generators and protect their own. With swiftness he moved over to a couple of Pages, only so that they could have someone of higher rank around them, even if they didn't think they needed it. "Caliban, Senshi of Sealing. I got you covered." He quickly said to them. If they figured that they were fine by themselves he would move on, but for now they probably needed to move to the closest generator, the one to the east of them. There appeared to be a General facing off against some Pages and... Charybdis? Well, at least he knew the General would be well distracted then.

Name: Princess Ganymede
HP: 133/150
Action: Freaking out; calling after Cybele; attacking Ochre.
Damage 4 (dice) + 10 (rank) + 3 (buff) + 1 (article of strength) = 18
Location: E2

Ganymede was ready to fight, up until the auras began to flicker to life on her mental radar. Then the pit of dread in her stomach grew so sharp and bitter she thought she might be sick.

She gasped and stared around, eyes wide and horrified. She met Valhalla’s gaze, then Cybele’s. She looked to Kerberos, Agrippa, and Tikal. She said she would protect them, and she meant it, but now, with darkness all around them, heavy and close, she didn’t know if she had the power to do so.

Ganymede never thought Lyndin’s plan would be without its flaws. She never believed it would work as intended, never allowed herself to trust him enough to help beyond offering her presence here tonight. She never expected an easy time with the Negaverse, knew it wouldn’t be a simple matter of summoning a few of them there, that they would fight, call reinforcements, throw a wrench in things the way they always did.

Not once did she consider that the Queen might show her face.

A rapid series of thoughts flew through Ganymede’s mind. They should use this opportunity to take out Laurelite. Castor was there; they could take her on together. No, they should use the information Fólkvangr gave them to pick off the General Sovereigns one by one. Who was it that Ganymede decided was the weakest link? Axinite or Hessonite? No, Lyndin told his Vanguard to protect the generators. They should sabotage the generators. The plan was off. Perhaps it was never meant to benefit them to begin with. Lyndin was a liar. He was a duplicitous snake.

A nervous voice asked, What do we do? Agrippa? Or Tikal? They were both so new. They bore her symbol. They were her responsibility, whether or not they actually served her. And Cybele… she was in danger here. If Laurelite or any of the General Sovereigns got their hands on her, they would kill her.

Cybele!” Ganymede called for her, alarmed, but she was already off. She had the right idea, but she was running into danger, and Ganymede felt rooted to the spot, unable to follow.

Magic struck her. Ganymede let out a startled breath and stumbled, cold, nearly panic-stricken. The dread intensified. The aura nearby, Laurelite’s aura, felt sinister and oppressive, almost crushing. Other auras dotted the landscape. She caught sight of a figure nearby, long braids and dark clothes. A Senshi. One of the Negaverse’s Senshi, like Cybele used to be.

Cybele, who was… where had she gone? To the generator nearby, nearer to Laurelite, but Ganymede couldn’t see her because her vision was tunneling, blocking out anything on the periphery. She could only see what was right in front of her, could only stand there, drowning in her doubts and her fears while her thoughts spun and the auras kept coming, kept pressing closer.

Why did she have this power? She was no leader.

But she had to protect them.

Val…” she whispered. He was beside her. He would never leave her. “Call Valkryie.”

With stubbornness, Ganymede pushed through the dread. Her gaze remained locked on the Corrupt Senshi (Ochre), and she murmured her Super attack.

To the rest, she said, “Fight. Destroy the generators.”

Quote:
Super Magic - Tantalizing Caress
The enemy is subjected to a scent they find most appealing (apple pie, lavender, vanilla, whatever; their favorite smell ever), causing them to feel a sudden sense of disorientation. They are further distracted by an inexplicable sensation of mental stimulation (an obsession with whatever it is they desire most, which does not necessarily have to be their mission). The spell can be broken by the will of the opponent; it doesn't physically bind them, so it can be ignored with effort. If left unbroken, the scent can last for up to 20 seconds, fading over time. This attack can be used twice, but the effect, length of time, and potency diminishes with the second use. The attraction can either originate with herself as the target (as in they smell apple pie and think she has it) or be projected throughout the surroundings if escape is necessary.

This time, she's definitely making herself the target.

Page Voyager
HP: 50/50
Action: Shuffling over from D3 to C3 to greet some peeps

He... well he wasn't sure what he had been expecting, but perhaps this was something to be expected? He couldn't say that he was surprised that the Negaverse was here. They always seemed to pop up literally everywhere there was a large gathering of Order in this City. Even in the small amount of time he had been a Page he had managed to put that together.

And the energy collecting made sense for the aliens now. They wanted it for... some reason, but probably not a good one for the planet.

However, he saw a familiar, though alien, face near him and ran over to make sure that the other was okay. They appeared to be quite confused. "Yddagen!" He said, hoping that they wouldn't immediately start blasting him. Would his coat protect him from those blasts in any way! "I'm glad you're okay!" He looked at the others and gave them a smile. "Glad to see you're all okay even if I haven't met you before." He gave a nod to them. "I know you all have your Orders and I can't stop you." Literally he probably couldn't. They had weapons and he had... his coat. He didn't want to chance breaking his pocketwatch by hitting anyone with it so he had his coat and his fists. That was it.

"But if you want to help this planet then we're willing to help you. I'm sure together we could figure something out for... whatever it is that you want to do with this energy. I believe in you at least." He didn't expect to turn them if they truly wanted to follow their orders, but he did want to show them that if the generators weren't destroyed, that perhaps there was another way.

When they won.

And they would win.

Cyd would rake each and every traitor over the coals, strip them of their posts, and leave them on earth with their precious friends once they went home. And they would thank her for that because they all deserved death.

For now, however, she had orders. And there was a knight (Belmont) who was in direct conflict with those orders. She raised her laser sword and did as she was told. She defended the generator against its attacker.

"You will not stop my people from going home," she hissed.

Agrippa hadn't really ever felt like she was at war. Not like this. And she could never have ever predicted something like this. Someone attacked Ganymede and she cried out, and Agrippa answered with a cry of her own.

Fight.

Ganymede was speaking her the knight at her side. Call who? What? Agrippa didn't have time to ask questions, because her legs were carrying her before her brain had time to work out the rest. She stooped as she ran to the nearest generator, scooping up the largest stone she could and hurling it with all her might at the mechanism.

HP: 50
Action: Remaining loyal to the Commodore; waiting for Aliez and Fangnyl to make their decisions; glaring with murderous intent at Andronicous a square away.
Damage N/A - not rolling atm.
Location: C4

First, Vyn was afraid. There were more than just a few Negaverse agents appearing on the scene. There were several. Dozens. Several dozens. And worse, their leaders. Their Queen.

Then, Vyn was confused. The Commodore seemed to expect this. The Negaverse was not their concern, he said. For weeks now, they were meant to avoid the Negaverse, and they had. Vyn thought the Negaverse would ultimately be their enemy, but… the Commodore said not to attack them.

Lastly, Vyn was determined.

It didn’t matter if he was afraid or confused. He would follow the Commodore’s orders. He would lay down his life for the Commodore, if that’s what it took to see the mission through.

Vyn exchanged a glance with Aliez, who was just as loyal as Vyn. Vyn looked to Fangnyl, whose intentions he could not estimate as accurately. He turned when there was movement near the Commodore, a Knight (Andronicus) who went to confront him.

A dark glare crawled across a face that was normally soft and gentle, if not a little pouty. Vyn had his blaster at the ready. The safety was not on.

Attack #1 Chilling Storm
A five foot radius is covered in a thin layer of frost. It is frost and not brittle ice at this stage, and those caught in the AoE would find frost forming on them selves as well as the environment. It effects anyone caught in the attack, Pollux and his allies included. It melts and acts like normal frost otherwise, meaning, depending on the environment the ice may linger, or melt very shortly.
