Super Sailor Adria
Total: 3+3=6
When Meridiana launched herself into his arms he had instinctively opened his own to catch her, wrapping them tightly around her. For a few seconds, he forgot everything they'd talked about, about being safe, keeping this a secret. He was overwhelmed with the idea of seeing a friendly face here, of not being alone.
"I'm okay," he answered; even if he hadn't been, it's what he would have said. He didn't want her to worry.
He wanted to ask if she was, but the words didn't have the chance to come.
The ground below him had shifted and while he stumbled forward, still keeping his grip on her.
...Until he realized that if he did that, he'd only be putting her in more danger. There was a single, startled look on his face when it registered that he was falling, and if he didn't let her go, she was going to fall with him.
His arms loosened around her and he plummeted, rapidly, down the chasm that split beneath his feet. His nails dug into what felt like dirt, or rock, or stone--he couldn't place it. He only knew that he was sinking his nails in, clutching as hard as he could, to try and stop from falling any further. It was cold, down the hole that had opened up beneath him. He felt like his feet were ice, and more than that--like something was still trying to drag him deeper..
Adrenaline kicked in; he wasn't going to go like this. He'd been through too much to fall to his death, or to whatever little gremlins were trying to swallow him into their darkness. He would have cast his magic--a setting sun, light--if he'd had the wits about him. Or the free hand. Instead, all his energy was focused on dragging himself back up,
It took seconds that felt like minutes, or hours. He couldn't tell. The world was chaotic and all he could focus on was trying to drag himself up and out, on making sure Meridiana didn't fall down here with him.
He couldn't see the top so he just kept clawing upwards until his hand met empty air and he had to frantically try to pull himself up over the edge, onto solid ground again.
...He could still feel the ground crumbling, though, and he worried he wouldn't have solid ground to pull himself up to soon.

Meridiana 4+9=15
One moment he was there holding her and in the next she felt his arms around her loosen just before his aura plummeted into the chasm that had opened up beneath him. But then she felt his aura slowly draw closer as he made his way back to the top where he had left her.
"Adria!" Her voice was full of panic as she fell to her knees and quickly grabbed ahold of his hand. With her shaky grip she gathered what strength she could muster and helped pull him up and out of the crumbling crack in the earth.
From the shouting around them, it seemed that others had fallen victim too. On one hand it meant that everyone was too preoccupied to give a second thought or consideration as to why she, a corrupt, was helping a White Moon senshi. However, it also meant that there were more areas where the ground was split. The two of them would need to be careful if they planned to join a larger group.
"You're alive," Meri's heartbeat raced inside her chest as she placed both hands on either side of his face. If she had the mind or voice to ask if he was ok she likely wouldn't bother inquiring since his answer would undoubtedly be a quick 'no' given the fact he could have died from the fall.

The darkness seems unending, and the pressure in the area just seems to drop. Something ominous is in the air and you may not be able to see it but you can feel it. Something is running towards you. In the distance, there are screams; like a wave crashing against a cliff face, the fear is almost tangible. A faint orange glow shines bright in the darkness and you get your first real glimpse of this world you've been drawn into: you can make out the silhouettes of debris on the ground. No matter how much light hits it, they always keep their same dark form, but you can at least see them. The debris is the least interesting part of this world, though. More flames appear, as if out of thin air, and hover in the sky just out of reach. Sometimes, you can make out the shapes of what must have been the creatures chasing you--a tail, a neck, hooves. Horses. Horses, fiercely running in a single great circle around the rotating platform. They seem unaffected by the crumbling landscape, and while you still cannot see much of it you can see parts that seem to fall off into nothing, swallowed up by the darkness. The screams are getting closer. Suddenly, the wind whips violently and between one blink and the next, the fire has erupted above. The entire horizon is red and orange, so striking that it's almost painful to look at. The temperature, though, is only cold. The shadows of people fleeing grow larger and within seconds an army of them is shoving past everyone. They break through the circle of horses rampaging around the stable land everyone was settling on. The shadow people seem unaffected by the horses, by the rotating land mass, by the crumbling land. They have no faces, no identities. They are running from the fire that seems to spread closer with every passing second. They may have a destination, but you don’t; there's nowhere for you to go--except, maybe, down. Quote: A wall of strange shadow people is storming all around you. You have to be careful to stay on solid ground and not get battered by the mob--all the while trying to figure out what's going on with the strange flames. Roll to see how you fare!If you have a fourth stage character, RNG between numbers 5-10! If you have a third stage character, RNG between numbers 4-10! If you have a second stage character, a Mauvian Senshi, or a full Youma character, RNG between numbers 3-10! If you have a first stage character, or a humanoid Mauvian, RNG between numbers 2-10! If you have a civilian or a basic Mauvian, RNG between numbers 1-10! Quote: If you roll between 8-10 you feel the wave of people shoving around you but you manage to hold your footing. For whatever reason, they seem to weave around you. You can feel the solid mass of the shadows, the coldness of their closeness, but aside from the contagious fear of panic at the ever growing flames, you are unscathed. If you can manage to look into the flames you can almost make out a shape--a massive tent. The sound of carnival music is loud in your ears and drowns out some of the screams. If you roll between a 4-7 you are battered by the wave of people shoving around you. You may lose your footing but you manage to avoid getting too close to the edge of the platform. Every bump is another wave of cold dread; sometimes you see flashes of fire in your eyes and you can smell a horrible smoke. Panic and dread are heavy in the air. You may wind up bruised or with slight injuries--but alive. For now. If you roll between a 1-3, you are heavily battered by the wave of people shoving around you. Somehow, the barrage of shadows has pushed you to the edge of the platform--and they keep coming. Their screams are deafening and their panic is contagious. With each new bump, you see brief glimpses of a flame; you can smell the smoke and feel the heat as if it is upon you. You need to hang on for dear life to avoid falling over the edge; you may be battered and bruised at this point, but if you let go, you're gone. Thankfully, you at least have those shadow horses violently shoving their noses in you, as if corralling you back onto the platform. If you're lucky, someone will help you back to safety. If you're not, it's only darkness below. Please keep track of your roll totals in bold red font at the top of your post! If you choose to, you may respond from the prompt you roll to or any prompt lower, but you cannot respond to a prompt higher than what you rolled! You can only roll once per prompt and if you make a mistake, simply strike out your post. Please do not delete rolls! You may continue to RP between prompts. The next prompt will be posted at ~10PM EST October 21st! While you can join at any point in the roleplay, you cannot make up lost rolls!

10+8+1=19Anniliese had to get out of here. If it was a dream she just wanted to wake up. She was not amused, nor happy about this place and wanted to just go home. She putted her hands over her ears. There were people screaming She wish they would stop. But the screams seemed to be coming closer and closer. That's when she saw them. Faceless shadow people. They were running from something. She squinted. FIRE. It was a big fire that they were running from. She took several steps back. She looked around her for an excape. Nothing. Then she fell and was slideing. She tried to hang on for dear life. Now she had to try and lift herself back up. She was barely able to.; ((127))

Captain Aquamarine
They were nearing their goal when Ilian seemed to jerk out of his grip. Aquamarine whirled around to snarl his usual insults and demands, only to find that Ilian was no longer upright, but a victim to the shifting and cracking ground and the reaching shadows. With another muttered curse, Aquamarine stumbled back and grabbed Ilian’s arm again, hauling him away and pulling him back up, lashing out with his dagger whenever it seemed as if something was intent on thwarting them both.
“What the ******** are you doing?” he ranted. “You were literally a foot behind me.”
Without anyone else to blame for this madness, Aquamarine’s only other option seemed clear: blame Ilian. Of course he knew Ilian was not at fault and had even less control over the situation than Aquamarine did himself, but Aquamarine did not always operate on logic. He was frustrated and annoyed (and maybe, though he would never admit to it, a little scared) and he responded to such things in the only way he knew how.
With anger.
He managed to drag Ilian onward again, but upon reaching their intended destination found they had no better luck. Apparently the creatures were horses, and there were bright flames on the horizon, plus a lot of screaming and shadowy figures all around them. Aquamarine was battered by a wave of them, pushing and shoving in their panic. He tripped and fell back into Ilian, turning to him with a wild look on his face, one that seemed to say “I hate everything about my life since joining the Negaverse except maybe you,” and “I swear to ******** I’m going to kill whoever is responsible for this.”
“Why the ******** are we even here?” he almost shouted, stumbling again as more shadow figures jostled him around. If he didn’t break or stain something before the night was through, he’d count himself fortunate.

Peter had managed to grab him before he could fall too far, Briar managing to awkwardly regain his footing.
"Thanks" he said quietly, before glancing in first Haven's and then Lysithea's direction as they both suggested moving - because getting out of here seemed like a really, really good idea - and then nodded when Lysithea asked him if he was okay.
Haven seemed to be directing them towards the centre and it seemed like as good direction to go as any given that it wasn't as this place came with any sort of map, just unrelenting darkness that was kind of getting old, which was why the orange glow was something of an improvement, because at least it provided for some illumination - at least a bit more than their glowing selves–
Although because it seemed like this place didn't seem like letting them catch any sort of break they also appeared to have ended up between a bunch of shadowy people and equally shadowy horse-like creatures, the shadowy wave of people shoving and weaving about him - although at least Briar managed to keep to his feet this time around.

If you can manage to look into the flames you can almost make out a shape--a massive tent. The sound of carnival music is loud in your ears and drowns out some of the screams. It seemed that Anxo had fared less well with the ground than he had, Athene's feet stepping towards the other almost automatically as the ground chose that moment to crumble from beneath the other's feet incidentally underscoring his point that it wasn't safe where they were, although Anxo was able to regain his footing before Athene could do more than start to reach out. He said nothing as Anxo interlaced their hands together, although his gaze was worried as he glanced over at the bruises and his grip tightened slightly as he silently promised himself that he was going to better - that he was going to do his best to make sure that his boyfriend didn't get hurt any worse whilst on his watch. "Okay" he said at last quietly with a small nod as he started walking towards the place where he had gestured to earlier, his fingers still interlaced with Anxo as a part of him hoped that Liryn was faring much better than they were, the pressure seeming to drop as he continued to walk towards what appeared to be some sort of orange glow– And whilst heading towards somewhere where he could hear screaming was the last thing that Athene wanted to do, it wasn't as if they could stay where they were - not given the cracking ground. He bit his lip anxiously, grip tightening again slightly on Anxo's fingers for a moment as he said quietly "I may have to let go if I have to use my magic, but please stay close" but even as he was speaking he kept his fingers curled around Anxo's - not wanting to be the one to let go. He wasn't expecting the shadow horses or the equally shadowy people, although it didn't take much to realise that they appeared to be caught between them, although the shadowy people seemed to be weaving in between rather than towards, as if running away from something– His eyes caught sight of the flames - or rather something.

Score tally: 4 + 9 + 6 = 19Mauvian Liryn (human form)Quote: If you roll between a 4-7 you are battered by the wave of people shoving around you. For now. It was hard to miss the parallels with the Dark Kingdom - in fact the only thing missing was the scorpion youma and the purple crystals–
Well that and the giant dragon.
Liryn turned to give Alcor a smile at her mention of him having been smaller the last time they had seen each other, "True - although having hands can come in useful" and was something that he'd opt for more often if not for the fact that hands (at least in his case) also came with a large increase in aura.
It appeared that the cracks were getting closer however given the way that one had opened up right next to Alcor, Liryn reaching out instinctively as it was followed by the ground lurching although his hand had ended up meeting that of Eleonora instead.
He couldn't help but wonder how Athene was faring even as he gave the white-haired senshi of heat a gentle smile, the smile still there as he shifted his gaze to Alcor.
Had Athene been pulled here too? And if so was the dark-haired eternal trying to navigate this alone or had he managed to find others?
And whilst he knew that Athene was strong, a part of Liryn couldn't help but wish that the other was with them too, that the four of them could be traversing this place - whatever this place was - together.
The pressure started to drop as they continued to press onwards, Liryn's ears flicking as he picked up the sound of screaming - screaming that they seemed to be heading ever closer towards, an orange glow appearing, bring light (at least of a sorts) to their surroundings.
He wasn't expecting the fleeing shadows, shadows that appeared humanoid, although instinct had him stepping forwards and in front of the twins, a hissed sound escaping his lips as some of said shadowy people knocked into him as they rushed passed him, his feet stumbling as they knocked him off-balance.

Lieutenant Rakovanite Rolls: 10 + 2 + 3 "Be calm," Rakovanite commanded briskly as the younger man grabbed onto him. There was enough to contend with in his immediate environment that there was no need to also add Fettelite's whining into the mix, and Rakovanite could not be bothered to feel frightened in this moment. It didn't seem reasonable to be.
Even if the air was cold and the world was dark and haunting, he still believed the worst that could be upon them was death- and frankly if this was how they were all to die, at least it would be interesting.
Completely inexplicable, but interesting.
More than fear, he was plagued only by confusion and a lack of understanding. Why was this happening, and how? Magic, he supposed, though that seemed like a cop-out answer to anything he was unfamiliar with, at this point. 'Magic' gave them strange abilities, and 'magic' compelled them into this war. This was surely just a part of that. Rakovanite didn't know enough to justify otherwise. It did seem a bit strange that Fettelite was so surprised, though...
The shadows fought and shoved against them as if they were tangible forces- and they must have been for all the pressure they put on to keep Rakovanite moving backward, away from Fettelite. They weren't gentle about it, either, for all that Rakovanite assumed they were just normal people, outside of being shadows. They pressed backward, toward the edge of the platform.

Gryphon Tate Rolls: 10 + 3 + 10 Gryphon got the sense that Landry was a bit impatient with him. Or the proceedings? Or the girl with them? He couldn't say for sure, but the other man definitely wasn't thrilled. Which, okay, Gryphon could understand why. "Okay, okay, sorry, Lan. I'm up!" He replied as he scrambled back to Landry's side. He couldn't help but be the tiniest bit frazzled, himself. Maybe Lan was used to this kind of activity, fighting plants as he did, but this was a whole lot of something else as far as Gryph was concerned.
It wasn't really unlike anything that might happen in one of those spooky movies that came on so often around this time of year. Or like a haunted house that he didn't know how he got into.
He was pretty sure people weren't usually allowed to touch you in those, though.
As the shrieking forms of faceless shadows ran toward them, Gryphon extended a hand to settle on the small of Landry's back to hold him near and steady. There weren't a great many people alive (or whatever these were) that would have much luck moving him if he didn't want to be moved. His gaze went from the uproar of flames and back to Lan. "Oi, Lan... You remember that time you said weird stuff always happened, and I thought you were full of bull?"

Sailor Ananke Senshi of Portals (Roll History: 3 + 8 + 7) Ananke smiled at the two of them. "Mmm as someone who works with animals I can tell you they sure brighten any day. But... we should also probably meet up for senshi work too sometime huh..." She said scratching her face. Looking at the two of them she sighed. "Alright..." Tilting her head she looked at Adorea. "Ah, are there others over there?" Looking at Mia she smiled. "You seem pretty calm... either that or you're super dependable. It might not look like it but Adorea and I are pretty strong so if we stick together we'll get through this!" After saying at though she felt as though a crowd of people brushed through her. Fire, smoke, panic and other dark emotions corsed through her. Bracing herself she managed to get through it with some light injuries. "..." She released a deep breath. "I wonder..."
