Rachel ▬ The Deathstalker, in one last attempt to rid itself of Rachel, shook its body violently. Its attempt to shake her off succeeded. Rachel was launched into the air and onto a small ledge above the magma. Unfortunate for the Deathstalker it also succeeded in loosening its grip beyond repair. The creature slammed into the molten goo and started to scream in a most wretched fashion. Sinking halfway, air hissing out of its carapace like a boiling crab in a pot, before it finally exploded into demonic dust.
Rachel would see that her small ledge curled around to the side where a small crack in the wall could be found. Beyond a thin and crusty layer of rock was a tunnel that she would be able to slide into that led to a cavern (the same one as the next point will elaborate on).
Azura, Cecil, & Adam ▬ Cecil had keen eyes for the terrain, and his scaling the wall would work surprisingly well, but Cecil would feel a strange earth movement. The wall began to crack and before he could react it fell into the wall itself. A small avalanche of stones would seemingly suck Cecil inside. Leaving a cave in its wake. This was not too surprising as the Deathstalker did come through the wall. Cecil would be carried roughly 30 feet before he was finally slammed against a cavern wall with enough force to make his head ring in pain. It would take a while for his eyes to adjust, but he would see that there was a gently declining slope to what looks like a metal hallway of sorts. Some sort of underground cargo transportation tunnel just below the lab.
Rocks tumbled down after Cecil, but the air was fresher here. The tunnel likely led outside.
[The tunnel leads to a small vault door that will take the students outside. Please feel free to make your exit post. You can roll 1d10 on your way out to see if you find any special information. An airship will spot the students once they are outside as the military is swarming the premise.]
▬ OUTER LABORATORY REGION ▬
[xXx]
Lunia, Vance, Ora, Narx and Lena ▬ The powerful explosion from the yellow canister was preceded by the zipping sound of a bullet whipping past those in the laboratory. Narx would look to his side just as he saw it---- red dust. His mouth inched open to scream, but before a sound could escape his lips the blast erupted into a monstrous fury. Narx's aura would shine brightly as he was slammed into Lunia, Lena, and Vance simultaneously. Just barely missing Ora on the ground.
Lunia, Lena, and Vance would feel Narx's aura slam them with intense force to the opposite wall before they could react.
The world went black.
Your ears hiss with a high pitch ring that makes the pounding of your head feel almost unbearable. One of the villains had clearly left a trap. Fortunately the walls inside the lab were not raw metal, but had some give to them.
The vault door nearly being blown off its hinges had blasted open only to slam shut. A large pile of concrete now blocked the door. The ceiling collapsed from above. A fire ablaze somewhere up above was raging, as well as a few other places in the lab. Thick dust rained consistently from the ceiling. Making the air too thick. Further down the single hallway the lights flickered on and off, but there was no sign of fire in that direction. The hall seemed to end after about 50 feet and turn right. A faint green light could be seen emanating from that direction.
[Around the corner is an air-tight lab door with windows that reveals several human sized pods standing erect. Three on the left, and three on the right. Their glass very foggy. The door is unlocked. Proceed to this area. Feel free to roll a 1d10 in your post here]
POST NOTES:[This is a push post, meaning it is meant to push you out to end the event. You can post a summary exit post, or roleplay your exit out slowly, we will leave the event open for such, but there will not be any mod posts guaranteed. Everyone outside of the laboratory area with Lunia will ultimately exit and finish the quest. Feel free to be airshipped back to the starting base in Đαɾƙ ₳lphα Cαve. There we will be all final roleplays with the military, but you are not required to go there. You can also hit the medical facility at Beacon if you so desire.]
Cecil was making it across the wall slowly, his arms kept at a 90 degrees so he can scale as best as he could. His legs and right arms guided him till he felt the wall shift, the earth moves against him. He tightened his grip, not wanting to fall down into the magma like the death stalker did before he felt it change and just before he could leap to another part of the wall, it caved inward. He screamed as he rolled through the new opening with all the rocks that followed, slamming hard against a new cavern wall with his back and the back of his head. His vision became blurry as his aura shield was on the verge of breaking around him. He landed onto his left elbow, his right hand, and his knees with an audible groan that he couldn't hear. He looked around as his vision began to clear up, his ears ringing as all he could hear are muffled noises while he struggled to get back to his feet. His stomach was churning as he was struggling to not vomit his guts out from the impact he had to take while he could see it was alot lighter in here.
A whiff of the air and he could tell this was much fresher than before... not of fire and brimstone, but of the cool night air. "ADAM! AZURA! GET TO THE HOLE IN THE WALL! I'VE FOUND AN EXIT!" He shouted out the hole as he wanted to wait, he WANTED to stay here and hope for the best, but he knew that if they took too long he could die with them and as such, he was taking deliberate slow steps down the gentle declining slope to the metal hallway, continuously looking behind him to check to see them following. He couldn't hear them responded, he didn't even know if his voice was heard considering the sounds he made were still muffled, but as he reached the metal hallway, he looked back to see if they did follow.
IF THEY DID, he would wave at them using the flash light he still had to let them know where he was and to follow him as his vision would've recovered for the most part, limping his way down the metal hallway towards the outside as his aura shield would finally break, leaving him exposed to the wind that blows in from the outside.

Lunia
Lunia's eyes flickered open for a brief moment as she came around from the force of being smacked and taken out by Narx. She moved her hands as she lay on the ground, evidently in pain and exhausted from everything that had happened. A groan could be heard from her, her hearing disorientated as her sight was blurry. "What... Happened?" she mumbled, taking a few minutes to come around. Lunia mustered what energy was left in her and got onto her hands and knees, she was still struggling to take in her surroundings. She looked at her hand and attempted to use her power, but nothing was working - she was exhausted. Lunia breathed in heavily as she looked around her, it was awful, she could smell burning and then caught sight of Vance. "Vance!" she yelled, attempting to get up the burning sensation in her legs brought her back down again as she moaned in discomfort. "Absolutely not.. " she said, as she breathed in and forced herself up to her feet. "Is everyone okay?!" she yelled, holding her hands over her ears to stop the dizzy sensation. "I need, I can't protect anyone like this.. Keaton.. " she said, flashbacks of her brother arriving in her mind that she couldn't get rid of. Suddenly, everything was calm again. She opened her eyes and could see a green light in the distance, making her curious. Lunia would first walk towards Vance slowly, also keeping an eye out for anyone else. "I'm here! Call my name if you need help!" She yelled, just wanting to help.

Everything was dark. Not a single color or light to be seen. All senses were gone, but then there was a pulse. A thick and sluggish pulse. Like that of blood flowing through an artery. Shades of red started to flutter into existence. The color, and the pulsing, began to grow steadily but surely. Then pain entered the fray. Narx's head pounded with furious pain. Suddenly he was aware of his body, but his head was what he felt most. a groan of pain escaped his lips."Uuuuuhhhhh-" He lifted a hand up to brace himself. Not sure which direct was up or down. He felt it make contact with something squishy, a leg. An ankle to be exact. It was Ora's leg. He pushed off from the ground only to find himself tumble against the wall. The hollow clang made his head hurt worse. He could hear someone speaking, but it was faint. It sounded line Lunia.
"Lunia. Is that you? I'm here. Where are you?"He said, though his voice was gravely."Is everyone alive? What happened?" He had no recollection of the moments before. The bullet. The Volcano. The fire dust. All he knew is they were under attack, and something had hit them hard. "Danaë. Where is she?"After a few painful moments he opened his one good eyes. It was swollen, but he could still see. The place they were in was a mess. Fire all around. Smoke seeping down from above. The door to their left was beyond repair, and shut tight by the looks of it. Lunia. Vance. Ora, and wasn't there one more? He wasn't sure anymore. They needed to move, but he could only slump down against the wall as a gasp of pain escaped him. Something was broken, but he couldn't tell what. Not yet at least. His eye lazily flickered to Lunia. She was in good shape by the looks of it. That is when he saw it. His left arm. Blood was gushing from what looked like a nasty break. It wasn't squirting, so not an arterial break by the looks of it, but one that needed a bandage and bad. A tear of pain not yet recognized escaped his golden hued eye."I'm bleeding."He breathed.

You would think one of two things would have happened to Lena, either she'd be fine or completely wrecked. To be honest even Lena wasn’t sure what happened, ears ringing, vision blurred, breathing was hard, and the Faunus was sure she had a concussion. She'd try to stand only to fall to her knees, her body was in too much pain to stand. The limbs of her harness were the only things keeping her from laying face down on the floor. "I... I..." Her voice was rough, throat feeling as if it was on fire, and her breathing felt as if her lungs were on fire. "h...he...help..." Weakly she'd look up, a look of fear in her eyes. "What if they don’t hear me? Is this where I die? Would anybody care if I didn’t return?" Fear, self doubt, and other dark thoughts flooded her mind. Her vision would slowly come to... everyone looked scared or panicked, maybe pained. It was hard to keep focus at that moment. "Need... to... signal..." Looking up one of the harness limbs supporting her would raise up, firing a brilliant blue beam into the ceiling in short intervals. "Please... help... me..." Falling back down Lena would black out, the beam slowly stopping to fire. The girls only hope was someone would have seen that and find her.

Danaë dove, hearing something from Ice breath. She would shoot her eyes over to him. She hadn't heard that nickname since Sigil. She wanted to tell him to never call her that again. She was a leader now. She wasn't the girl that he could bully through weapon training. She found her calling, surprise attacking. "If you say so Ice Breath!" It was something she had always wanted to call him, but was too shy to do so. She didn't want to draw attention to herself in school, but if people knew of her, who cared? If they wanted to make fun of her, they would have to get through Narx first.
Then she looked over, Rachel was safe. She would start to angle herself back to the platform, when she felt something familiar. She was about out of time. She'd flap harder, right before she edge, she would lose her wings, having the aura run out. She would grasp for the Gravity dust she had on her. She'd activate it, causing it to lift her. She would then aim her pistols at the wall, firing. She knew that it could cause a cave in, however, it was either that, or death by lava. She made it safely to the ledge. That was too close for comfort. She'd land on the ground. Then Cecil would almost land next to her. An opening came up, and she would scramble to her feet. She needed to get to Narx. She'd go over to where the door was, standing in front of it. SHe wanted in, but it was sealed shut. "Damn it!" She would scream at the door. She would look around. Out here was going to hell. "Narx, I have to escape! I don't know if you can hear me, but if you do, please be fine! I love you!" Tears would stream down her face, filling her gas mask. It was the first time she had admitted it out loud. She didn't want to live her life without him.
She would then run for the exit, tears still on her face. She'd run into the open air, the wind finally going through her feathers. She would start to ugly cry, because she had to leave him behind.

Ora heard voices. The voices would say to follow Narx's voice. That was Lunia wasn't it? Where the hell was she anyway? This looked like nothing that she remembered. Had she really blacked out. She would unsteadily get to her feet. She felt weak, like her body was giving out on her. Every breathe through the mask on her face hurt. She wasn't sure if it was the mask, or something else. "I can move on my own thank you." She was moving, her issues with speed hindering her.
She would then see Narx. She'd lean against the wall. She felt like s**t. Like back when she was in the lab. Wait, where were they. She would suddenly look more alert. A computer room...She wondered what it was used for...Then Narx would pick up Vance, and scream at him. Ora went to start to move towards him to stop him, but her body felt heavy. Damn it. Maybe if she took off her armor she would feel better.
Ora would look the moment that Narx did. The red canister...She immediately sent out Aura feelers, trying to find out who she could swap places with. Vance was still next to Narx. The explosion was coming. Vance would feel a warm, comforting aura come over him, then he was where she was before. Ora felt the fire burning her, her armor heating up. She took a lot of Damage from this, not realizing she didn't have a barrier anymore. Ora felt herself slam and hit the wall. Was he trying to cause a blow back?
She woke up after a few moments. Narx was on her ankle, if she wanted to get up, she couldn't. She felt the back of her head, there was blood. She'd look down to Narx. Even with her faunus eyes, she couldn't see past the smoke. The thick smell of blood reached her nose. "I'm fine Narx, if you could get off my ankle, we can take care of your wound. An explosion happened. We are fine." He would see that she in fact had been injured. She used her semblance to swap with Vance, allowing him to escape uninjured.
She then would start coughing. Liquid leaking out of the front of the mask now. She was heavily coughing up blood. Then out of the corner of her eye, she would see a blue beam. She'd reach down, finding Lena. "Damn it Lena!" She would place the faunus in her bag. Lena would have to be ok in there. There was no way she was going to let Lena hang out in her bra. Then Narx was finally off of her. She'd start to peel off her armor, at least parts of it. She could feel it burning her. She'd stand up, and would put out her left hand to pick Narx up if he took it. "I'll support you, take my hand." She was in pain, but this wasn't even close to the worst pain she had ever been in.

He would move to escape through the original tunnel they had entered from, followed by Akuryo and Zaffre. They would move quickly through tunnels, to escape the chaos of the prior chamber, till they were a good distance away. "I think we are safe for now, and that this is where we should depart. We can't risk escaping all together, it would attract too much attention. Thankfully we have a few fail-safes in place for this." He would say before removing his bag from his back and taking out the canisters. Giving the black one to the robot and the red one to Akuryo, while keeping the light blue one for himself. "We should each only have one, in the circumstance one of us gets caught. Ideally, none of us will. But with how things went...caution is advisable. It was a pleasure working with you all, but I have a few things I need to do. Till next we meet." Ghost would explain, so that each of them would only have one canister (though this plan did give Zaffree two from his two droids, it was a loss he was willing to accept). He would finish speaking with a smile, and go off down a certain route he had found earlier. One where he had left a deposit that he needed to wrap up as well. It was a bit of a walk, having to push aside some debris he used to hide the entrance, but he reached the destination. In this small alcove lay the body of a boy, un-moving save for the rise and fall of his chest. It seemed he was still knocked out, a testament to what was used to keep him...sedated. The boy, a student of beacon by his attire, was almost a mirror match of Ghost at this point. Save for the gag and rope binding him, in case he awoke too early. One of the reasons he had kept the boy alive and hidden away was precisely for his escape. If there was any suspicion remaining for him, they would find Darius instead of himself which would help to buy him time. Given the kid was unconscious when Ghost first found him...there was no chance he could identify him. Ghost would drag the kid from the alcove, and leave him on the main path that was taken into the caves. He would drop the kids equipment he had borrowed by him as well, having no further use for it. He figured someone would come by this way at some point; be it military independently or one of the students reporting others had escaped through this way and someone checking to see. Ghost would undo the binds and gag, taking them with him as he would exit the cavern while avoiding any unwanted attention with his prize safely in the bag. Mission accomplished. ☽☾☽☾ Post count: ??? “Inspiration is found everywhere you look. The trick is to capture it and make it something your own."
The three made where they needed to go, only for Vance to be grabbed by the person they were meant to get into. This stunned him for a moment , almost looking like a deer at headlights, but lucky for him, the anger that his fellow student had for him was just a moment of panic. In this moment of peace, the boy would notice the walls of the contamination room were beginning to warp and bend. Part of him wonder if this place would be able to protect them from the death that was forming just outside. But then, things move incredible fast as at one moment Vance saw a blast that sent Narx flying from the door, but in a blink of an eye, he was leaning on the wall where Ora was and felt a calming warmth had covered him. There was no time to guess what happened as high pitch ringing attacked his eyes, and gritted his teeth from the sudden annoyance. With this sound, the boy could hear the groans of the others as they got up, and hearing his name be called by his team leader. "I'm okay. Just very confused." With everything dark, his brush was almost a beacon to where he was, with the glow of the dust ink marking a sort of torch, and the fire was a bit of help as well. Vance would push away from the wall and looked around the lab, trying to get a hand at what was going on.
He could see that the others had taken a lot of damage from what had happened and the door that they had came in from was sealed shut. The boy would tie the broken straps of his bag together and put it back on his shoulder as he could use them for light later. Looking over he say Ora starting to take off parts of the armor, and something leaking out of her face mask. Vance would looked to Lunia who was walking over to him, and then to the other two, as it seemed like they wanted to move forward. He was hesitant at the idea as the three should be laying down until help arrived or they had a plan to get out of this place. The boy would hold out his arm in case Lunia needed the support, even though she was the one asking others if they needed help. However, he was ready to help if needed, and he was wondering if he could somehow use his ink as bandaging. The green light at the end of the hall was ominous, but it was the only direction they could go that wasn't on fire. He did wonder how long this place had been here, and if there was supplies that could help the others...

- - - - Lunia stood beside Vance as she looked towards the others, her shoulder still bleeding from the attack earlier that had now soaked through her sleeve. She winced slightly as she moved it, attempting to peel the now stuck sleeve from her skin with a great deal of pain. Lunia put on a brave face and sucked it up, she was more concerned for the others - as per usual. "Narx.. we'll get you to a medic as soon as possible.." she said, as she looked at herself for a brief moment. "What would Keaton do?.. think Lunia, think.." she thought to herself as she ripped the left sleeve of her top off from the seam at the shoulder, it wasn't stained with blood like the other. Lunia then moved to take his clearly broken arm in her hands gently and examined it for a brief moment, "This might sting a bit, just breathe" she said as she took the seam of the sleeve of his broken arm and also ripped it, taking it off to expose the wound she winced slightly. "Hope you didn't have an emotional attachment to this shirt.. heh.." she said, letting out a brief smirk as she then concentrated again.
Lunia took her sleeve and wrapped it around the wound, tightly enough to attempt to calm down the bleeding. Once that was tied, she took the extra part of his shirt and began to tie it around his shoulder and chest to create a pretty crappy, yet doable sling for his arm to sit in. Lunia knew she would be causing him pain, but hoped he understood she was trying to help. She would also make a face in pain as her shoulder hurt whilst she was doing all of this but sucked it up to help out a friend. Once it was complete, she moved back and looked to Narx "What do you think? That will help to hopefully keep it in the right place before we get to a professional..." she said, looking to Ora and Lena who was now safely in her bag. Lunia looked to Vance and nodded at his confused statement earlier, "Yeah.. I'm just as confused.." she added, whilst looking towards the green light at the end of the hall with the others.
Lunia would look to the others and begin to walk in the only direction that looked remotely 'safe'. "Let's go, there must be a way out of here.." she said, as she walked slower to remain close to everyone in the case she needed to protect them, or at least try.

Everything was still foggy in his ears. A shrill ringing noise burning into his mind like a sharp needle. Narx would turn to the door, hearing a familiar, albeit muffled voice, unfortunately he couldn't make it out. Whoever it was, it was emotional, and it tugged at his heartstrings."What was that..." He would mumble to himself placing his good hand against the metallic door. He hoped whoever it was could get to safety. That was when he heard Ora asking him to get off her ankle and that they should take care of the wounds."Ora?"He would say confused. He thought Vance was there, but they had switched. His hand went to his head. He was obviously not thinking straight. Might be due to blood loss. Blood seemed to be everywhere on his left side due to the broken arm. He would take Ora's hand with his right to stand up after watching her place Lena in her bag. This was a good time for Ora to regain consciousness, though she was coughing up blood herself. Her lungs likely wrecked from the caustic air outside. Not that it was much better inside, but it was definitely an improvement.
Narx steadied himself against the wall after taking Ora's hand"Thanks, Ora. I need it."He said in reference to her support. He touched his hammer's handle and activated its reserve aura. He felt the power pulsing into his body. Restoring his aura shield which he would keep acutely tuned until they reached safety. Vance was okay it seemed, in better shape than anyone by the looks of it actually. Which normally would have made Narx smile, but he was in too much pain. Narx nodded to Lunia when she mentioned that they would get to a medic soon."The funny thing is... I usually am the medic, but I'm not really in a good condition to do any healing right now..." He probably could heal a few minor injuries, but nothing to do with the left arm, and he was afraid he might pass out if he attempted anything. It was a tricky situation. Lunia's reassurance did work though. "Fancy."Narx said as LUnia took his sleeve and turned it into a makeshift sling. It was by no means professional quality, but it worked."Thanks Lu."He said admiring her work."Now, let's get out of this hell hole..."He'd say as he followed Lunia's lead down the hall. Making sure Ora stayed close by. He was worried about her too. They would all make it down the hall to where it turned right. Another dark hall could be seen, flickering lights revealed that there was no fire though. Lab windows to the left revealed some sort of room with pod-like structures. It looked like it was sealed tight. The air had to be better he thought."Does that door open?"He asked. Hoping that Vance or Lunia would be able to get the door open. A breath of fresh air would be nice.

Ora would look to Vance. He was confused about what happened. She would take a deep breathe in, her body sending pain through her. She didn't know what she could do. "Sorry for the surprise. My semblance lets me swap places with people instantaneously. I saw the explosion, and swapped places with who I could..." Her talking landed her into another coughing fit, more blood coming out of her mouth.
Ora removed from her armor, other than the grieves, her body would show. She wasn't exactly wearing covering clothing. In fact, she was wearing a bodice with a black leather skirt, with stockings, and knee high boots. She would reach into her bag, and pull out a half black leather jacket that had a fur on the hood and on the wrists. The jacket had no pockets, so she couldn't put Lena in one of those. Narx would recognize this as the outfit she relaxed in while at the camps. In the dim light, they could see an effect on her skin. It was all the scars she had, on top of that, blood was dripping onto herself.
Ora couldn't help but feel worried about the situation. The last time that Narx became hurt, he disappeared off the face of the earth. Narx would mention that he wasn't in any condition to heal anyone. Ora would look to him. Even with his numbness to pain, he wasn't his usual cheery self, at least the one that she had gotten to know at Beacon. Her low back became alight with a grey aura, radiating off of her. "Narx, how much pain are you in? Or did they take that from you too?" Her voice was low. She knew that Lunia knew she was a demon, however, Vance knew nothing about her.
She would walk right next to Narx, her smaller frame next to him. She wasn't a tall faunus by any means, but the armor made the lean woman look bigger than she was. "Is it sealed? If it isn't, I can stick Lena on the other side, and swap places with her..." She would start coughing again.

She had to get up, her mind demanded it. But Lena's body wouldn’t let her. "I... I need to get up... Ora needs me... they need me..." She could tell she wasn’t on the floor anymore. Hearing the ambient noise of everyone’s conversation was slightly reassuring. She'd barely open her eyes before they forced themselves shut. "Nnnn..." The groan would come out of her, she was trying to string words. Looking up her eyes were still fighting, but they’d drop down as she passed out again. The mind would place Lena at the Oxton estate, sitting at the dinner table, all that was happening however was Mr. Oxton scream and shouting at Lena. She remembered this, it was before Beacon. Slowly the memory played through. Eventually Lena's mind would play early days at the school, but each memory was one of emotional pain.
Before Azura could use her illusions on their professor a sudden gust of wind knocked her back. At the same time, lightning filled the cavern and more rocks began falling. There wasn't going to be a cavern for much longer. With Danea taking care of the professor and the deathstalker sinking in the magma below, Azura nodded to Cecil. Time to get climbing. "Let's go guys!" She shouted, folding up Crimson Regret and putting in the holder on her belt. Somehow, she had a feeling Adam would turn this to a race and be the first to scale the wall.
"CECIL!" Azura screamed as the rocky wall seemed to suddenly swallow him. She scrambled up the wall to the hole as quickly as she could without thought or worry about what was happening in the rest of the room. She poked her head into the hole and was filled with relief to see Cecil was relatively okay. No pool of magma or a cavern full of grimm. "Everyone this way!" She shouted at the top of her lungs, waving her arm to try to get Danea's, 'Darius' and his new friend from nowhere's attention. Something was up with those last two, but she wasn't going to leave them to die without knowing what. When she got the attention of everyone in the cavern, (She'd use her illusions to put a voice in their heads if they didn't hear her shouting or see her waving) Azura entered the hole. In a shower of loose rocks, she slid down to where Cecil was. "Are you okay?" She asked a bit breathlessly. Probably a bit ironic given the burns she had received and the wound to her back, but then, he was the limping.
