Honestly, between Jason and Padraic the child would grow up to cuss like a sailor. I'm sure her mother will be appreciative... if she's still alive. "And I'm looking for this child's mother. Do you happen to know who and where she is?" Zeke asked, jerking his thumb in the child's direction. If Jason didn't know, Zeke was likely to simply take the child and have his men, who were busy gathering the wounded, ask around. That probably would've been the best idea in the first place, but now that the child had found a 'daddy' in Padraic, things were bound to get difficult. Things always seemed to get difficult for Zeke.

Maybe, if I tried really hard I might be able to break a shield, but I really don't want to find out, she thought. Especially not with Sunny so near and venerable. "Oi. Danny. Let's see how fast tigers can run," Luna said. She herself turned and grabbed Sunny's left arm, her other hand wrapping around her waist like they'd be waltzing as they ran. Luna threw Sunny partially over her shoulder as she ran off into the rain. At least Soren had been kind enough to drop the shields. Perhaps, if they ran fast enough, they could get to the docks in time...

ever get in your head Jason smiled a little to the man and came closer sticking his hand out. "I'm Jason D. Black, now tell me your story then I can help you" He said with a friendly smile on his face. He did his hat before his eyes so that the man couldn't see his face completely.

 A bit surprised at what Luna had done, but quickly came to realize why she had done it. What was I thinking? We could've hurt that girl. The next thing she knew, Danny bolted in the direction that Luna had run, and was gradually catching up. She didn't know if the man had followed, nor did she look back to check.
While they ran, Danny was constantly smelling the air so they could backtrack to the exit. Not only was it dark outside, but these caves were so very confusing. She never forced herself to run faster than Luna though, determined to make their fate the same. If she went down, so would Danny. (( XD I would type something for Padraic... but all it really would sum up to is: -facepalm- ))

What did that have to do with anything? Shrugging off his shock, he decided Jason must've meant the kid's story. "I was walking along looking for survivors and she found me... she lost her mom." He realized the way he'd said 'lost' someone might mistakenly believe her mother was dead, not separated from her. Either way, he cleared it up by adding, "So we're trying to find her. Well, I am and Kishi is, I'm not too sure about the others. This guy is her self-proclaimed 'daddy,' so I suppose he's somewhat involved." Again Zeke laughed a bit at calling Padraic 'daddy.' Really, he shouldn't be so casually amused when there was a child with no parent. The kid, however, didn't seem too upset at the moment.

ever get in your head Jason had still his hand up and just looked to the ma waiting t'ill he shaked his hand. "So... whats your name?" He asked, making the conversation even longer. His purpose was making his bounty even higher, but the marine was working against him.

 I'm not her daddy, nor did I ever say I was... Padraic shook his head slowly. It was perturbing just how casual everything was... for the most part. Although this Jason guy seemed to be looking for trouble, and the other three's actions were just as perplexing. Really? Who just has a normal conversation in the middle of a destroyed building? Not anyone Padraic knew, but he figured that it was true about what they said... that you never really stopped learning.
"Look..." He began, finally breaking into this endless spiral of chit-chat. "Not that I don't love listening to you guys talk, but I've places to be, and this isn't my kid."

______________________________________________________________________________ Soren simply laughed as they took the bait. "perfect..." He said figuring he could just let her go this time. "thank you!" He called out before walking out of the cave finally, slowly stretching as his body cracked almost everywhere. "ah that was a good one..." He mumbled before heading back to town. On his way back however, he cam to a stop as he watched a woman carrying something back to wherever walked past him. "was that just..." He arched an eye brow as he turned to stat following her.

He could very well be rallying the troops, though, and Luna didn't want to be around when he finished. "Danny," she said, slowing to a stop in the road. They'd come to the town, now, and running on pavement was unwise, to say the least. Luna looked at her little sister, moving her around so she could rest over Luna's shoulder comfortably. "I'm going to be frank; I'm stealing a ship from the docks here, and if you need to get off this island, I believe I owe you enough to give you a ride with no argument." She hadn't even noticed if the tiger had kept running, but now she looked up to see if she was still there. If she were Sunny, she would've slipped in a 'join our crew!' but advertising some position on a ship wasn't best done to those you owe. And the way Luna saw it, she owed Danny quite a lot.

"Looks like daddy's grumpy," Zeke commented with a slight smirk. Nonetheless, he held out his arms and looked expectantly at Padraic; if there hadn't been a child between them, a passerby might assume the marine captain wanted a hug. "I'll take her. Time to find mommy, b- kiddo." As much as he hated to admit it, he'd almost called her a brat. Not out of anger, spite or disgust, of course. He counted it as a term of endearment. If he had a dog, he'd call it 'brat' all the time. But, well... children weren't dogs. And that was a slip-up he didn't want to make in the presence of the child's mother. Waiting to recover the bundle of joy, he glanced at Jason. "Oh, and Mr. Black, if you're worried about associating with a marine, don't worry. I won't raise your bounty or anything."

Danny took note of Luna slowing down, and chose to do the same, and gradually slowed her pace until they both reached a stop. Now that they had reached town, it was probably a good idea to look a bit more human; no need to terrify any innocent passerby. Her gaze drifted over to the sisters when her name was spoken.
"Go ahead, I'm following you." She smiled with a nod, taking this moment as a chance to catch her breath. I'll have to remind myself to thank these guys later. Danny probably owed Luna her life, as she could have easily left her back there... When embarrassed, the tips of Padraic's ears turn a bright shade of pink, and that's exactly what they did at that time. "Not grumpy..." He replied simply, not even bothering with some sort of snide remark or cover up. The large man let out a sigh of relief when Zeke held out his arms for the child; as Padraic was a little more than glad to be rid of her fingers which had a knack for finding his hair. She seemed to struggle at first, reluctant to let go of her 'daddy', but Padraic managed to get the girl in his arms without too much trouble. (( ._. Just like the episode with Zoro as a baby sitter... XDDD All Padraic needs now is a shirt that says Momma. ))

His smirk grew when Padraic blushed. So easily embarrassed, Zeke thought. Leaning towards him with a look of curiosity masking his amusement, Zeke said, "Daddy might be getting a fever. His face is red." Leaning back so he was out of the immediate line of fire, Zeke had the child braced so her back was to the others; she was sitting on his right forearm, and his left was atop her head. "Well, I should go look around at the survivors for mommy, in that case. Bye bye, pirates." Taking his left hand from the child's head, he gave them all a short wave, then turned around to go do exactly what he'd said; attempt to find the child's mother.

Alka had destroyed a good part of the island's West side, but the East was virtually untouched. Therefore, the East docking area was untouched. A lo and behold, right there sitting perfectly untouched, but a little weathered, was a ship flying a white flag. "Probably a merchant ship," Luna said. Well, it was either that, or a group of pirates in a constant state of surrender. She assumed it was the former and left it at that. The main problem was that it was a ship, not a boat. A fully fledged vessel. The little boat Luna was used to steering gave her little to no experience directing these things, so she swallowed her pride and looked to Danny. "Do you know how to work these things?"

Danny smiled at the sight of their ship-to-be. Sure, they'd have to steal it, but she couldn't help but be excited. There something about the sea that just drew people to it... even if she would die if she ever fell in to its grasping waves. "I sure do." Danny replied in an eager tone, slowly beginning to make her way towards the beautiful craft. The crew was probably out helping the marines with the damage; she didn't even see a guard standing watch.
Gesturing for Luna to follow, she cautiously made her way up the gangway, but completely dropped her guard when she transformed half-way and could sense no one through her nose or ears. "All clear."
