It looked either too late or too early for voices. So, now curious the pretty white queen stood up and, stepping around her kits she padded out of the nursery.
The young she-cat padded into the camp in time to see Thunderflight call out to Ebonysun. Giving a nod to the trio as they passed her and headed out, Skywhisker settled down just outside the nursery and began to smooth out her fur, occasionally shaking her head to wake herself up. Time and time again, she found herself leaning forward as she was slowly falling asleep. Great Starclan she was tired! The night before, Glimmerkit was having trouble sleeping so Skywhisker stayed up with her. Then to add to it, Squirrelkit had woken up and began bouncing around. The white queen had told her kit to stop bouncing and be quiet so many times that she lost count. It was unbelievable. So as a result she had gotten very little to no sleep during the night. With that thought, the very distant sound of a storm reached her ears and she groaned inwardly. Squirrelkit hated storms. This was going to be a fun time. At that the queen began to think of ways to distract her daughter. Ways to make her forget about the storm. With any luck the storm would hopefully pass right by Stormclan and then she wouldn't have to worry about Squirrelkit becoming frightened. Oh the joy at that thought!
Skywhisker let out a sigh as she licked her paw and drew it over her face a few times. She looked around for a moment to see who was all awake and once she did a sweep, she rolled onto her back and closed her eyes. "Ah. The life of a queen." She breathed softly. Maybe closing her eyes had been a mistake. Well, if she wanted to sleep then it wasn't but since she wanted to stay awake it was a bit of a mistake; because within heartbeats of closing her eyes, the pretty pure-white she-cat drifted into a deep sleep.]((Out Of Cats: Goodness! I had visited Moonblaze to see how she was doing. I missed my old friend sometimes, what with all the patrols I had to lead now, but made sure to visit when I could. I saw Thor sheltering under a rocky overhang, his blue eyes glittering at the rain that was drizzling down. He had a strong dislike of storms for two reasons: one being the rain made his thick coat unbearably heavy, like mine, and two being it reminded him of the night he and Noor were attacked and separated. The night his family died- except for me. I sighed, glancing up at the sky. The clouds were very dark and seemed like they should produce more rain than this. As I sat staring at the sky, my emotions swirled up from under my stoic barrier. I thought what Thor had told me of Ebonysun; how the warrior claimed the kits were innocents- much to my relief; at least he wasn't a psycopath who would harm them -but that I was a 'sinner'. I had to admit, the cat gave me the willies. I thought about Whisperblade, and why he abandoned NightClan. I never really questioned it- what with Fathom leading the poor Clan -but then again, he abandoned his Clanmates, too. Maybe NightClan was crazier than everyone realized. I thought about my kittens and their future in the Clan. I thought about the fact that the past leaders had been rogues, about how many warriors in the Clan were rogues, and the fact that Ebonysun claimed it was against the Code. The Code said 'All warriors reject the soft life of a kittypet'; rogues were by no means kittypets, but they were outsiders. Were we really breaking the Code by serving under StormClan?
So many questions, so little answers. Exhaustion lay heavy on me like a boulder. I sighed again, standing up and padding quickly for the warrior's den. I was so tired. I shook myself at the entrance and collapsed into my nest, closing my eyes. A border patrol was already making its rounds, and hunting in the rain wasn't a good idea. This should be an opportunity to visit my kittens, but I was just so tired...
(( dreamtime! ))
I opened my eyes, glancing about the den. There was light shining from outside, and the soft hiss of the gentle rain was gone. I rose slowly, stretching my aching limbs, and slipped outside. The sun was shining, and the camp was busy with activity. I glanced around, feeling slightly confused. Had I slept through the storm? I was pretty sure it had been after sunhigh when I fell asleep, and it was morning now, which meant I slept through the evening and into the night. Foxdung! I needed to send patrol out NOW. I scrambled towards the center, yowling, "We need patrols to be sent out! Miraclesky and Whisperblade, come with me to the Brook. Oakbranch, Cedarbranch, and Rustdawn, head out to the..." I halted mid-sentence and stared at the cats around me. No heads had turned in polite attention. Nobody had even glanced at me. Everyone moved around swiftly, completely ignoring me. Could they even hear me? "Hello?? We need patrols! Why are you ignoring me?" I called angrily. I looked around helplessly as cats shoved past me. What was going on? "Thunderflight!" a cat called. I whipped my head around to see a slender black she-cat with pretty blue eyes staring at me from the entrance to camp. "Follow me!" she called, turning and padding into the territory. I scrambled after her, pushing my way out of the camp. I glanced around the forest and spotted her small form padding away into the foilage. I ran after her, ears flattened with frustration. She seemed to be walking yet was always so far ahead of me, just disappearing in to a bush or fern. Finally, we emerged onto the lake shore. She was sitting in the sand, watching the waves lapping at her feet. I padded over to her, panting. "What's going on?" I gasped. "Who are you?" She chuckled and said softly, "It's funny how most of the time when we visit Clan cats in dreams, they never seem to realize it's a dream at first. Maybe we're just too good at making them, eh?" "Dream?" I echoed, confusion washing over me. That's when I noticed her glittering pelt and the way the light radiated from her form. I gasped. She was a StarClan cat! She blinked at me kindly. "It's understandable. You've been working very hard as deputy, serving your Clan well." I had so many questions. It was just my luck to get an audience with a StarClan cat! "Uh...what's your name?" I asked quickly, not wanting to be rude. She giggled and said sweetly, "Starpelt." I jolted a little. She was Moonblaze's old mentor! She nodded as if she had heard my thoughts flicking her ears. "Am I a disgrace to my Clan?" I asked suddenly, staring at her intently. She seemed surprised by the question, and shifted on her feet. "Of course not," she said soothingly. "You're a hard-working deputy who serves her Clan well." "But I'm a rogue," I insisted, lowering my gaze. "And I mated with a cat who deserted his Clan." She looked away, staring off into the sky. She was silent for a while before she spoke again, and this time her voice sounded moons older. "Whatever mistakes you have committed in the past, StarClan forgives. It is true rogues were never meant to be allowed into the Clans, at least not on such a large scale across the Clans. But we were in need of help. The Slayers would have wiped us out if our numbers had been smaller. It was our determination and number of faithful, loyal warriors that kept us alive." She looked at me now, her eyes staring fiercely at me. "There are warriors who hunt in StarClan who were once rogues. They have served well." Relief swelled through me, but once again I felt doubt, and asked, "But Whisperblade...?" "His mistakes are his. You are not tied to them. You should have been more suspicious of him when he appeared, you know." I winced, muttering, "I know, I know, but..." "Love is a fickle creature, Thunderflight," she said softly. "Moonblaze knows that as well as you do. But tell me this. If he was not accepted into the Clan and remained a rogue, would you have mated with him?" Glancing at her in a startled manner, I paused, thinking, then admitted, "No." "If he asked you to run away with him and become a rogue, would you?" "No," I realized. I glanced at her in horror. What kind of a mate was I? "Your loyalty is still strong to your Clan, Thunderflight. We know that." "Doesn't that make me a horrid mate?" I asked hoarsely, pain rippling through me. "It makes you a worthy leader," she said simply. "Whisperblade was able to leave his Clan for you, and that is his burden to bear. You would not leave yours for him." It was true. Maybe he would have returned to NightClan were it not for me, but I would never leave StormClan for him. I lowered my head, closing my eyes sadly. "Do not be ashamed," she purred lightly. "Do you think he hasn't realized this?" I jerked my head up and stared at her, flicking my ears. "He's seen your loyalty. He knows very well. He loves you anyway." I felt mixed emotions ripple through me, and I sighed. "You've made your mistakes, but you've learned to live with them. StarClan recognizes your efforts. You should have more faith in yourself." "Aren't StarClan supposed to be mysterious about their messages?" I asked curtly, standing straight. I felt hope filling me and revitalizing me. Her eyes twinkled in amusement. "Maybe so. Then again, I've always watched over you. I might be cutting you some slack with straightforward answers. Hee." I nodded, staring up at the sky. Moonblaze and I always used to play as kits. It didn't surprise me that her mentor was taking care to keep an eye on me. "Sorry I didn't recognize you, Starpelt," I murmured shyly. She mrrowed with laughter, shaking her head. "Don't worry about that." "I think," I said suddenly, "I think that...I'm not perfect...but I'll make an OK leader, huh?" She didn't respond, but I could feel her happiness seeping from her fur.
The sky darkened all of a sudden as clouds began rushing in. They were as dark and ominous as in reality. I jumped up, staring at her in confusion. What was this sudden change of mood? She sighed sadly as the thundering clouds formed above us. "Sorry to end it like this, but..." Rain hit us at that moment. It was sharp, heavy, and endless. I yowled in shock, retreating into the trees. "Wait! I screamed into the roaring rain. How could I have forgotten to ask about the storm? It was more important than my stupid personal issues! "What is that storm that's coming? Is it really just a storm?" "It's much more than that" her voice hissed from the darkness. "Listen well! Colours abound and colours abode Promises made and promises sold The listful land shall suffer storming might in a premonition of impending blight. Beware the stone!"
Lightning flashed and I screamed as a wave of water hit me, sweeping me away.
I jolted up in a sweat, my eyes wild with fear. I had been kicking my nest around and it lay flattened and scattered. I sighed, catching my breath. My feet ached as if I had been running, and there was sand in my paws. To boot, my pelt was streaming with water that trickled into the other nests. I began to cough up water, my body shaking with the effort. Finally I had calmed down enough to start fixing the mess. I quickly fixed my nest as well as my neighbors, feeling the remnants of the dream fading away. I raised my head, staring at nothing as I thought to myself.
The storm is a...premonition? I wondered, a dazed look crossing my face.] `•.¸¸.•´`•.¸¸.•´`•.¸¸.•´`•.¸¸.•´`•.¸¸.•´`•.¸¸.•´`•.¸¸.•´`•.¸¸.•´`•.¸¸.•´✶ ❖ ✶☂ Mistake me for love long lost, remind me of a love once found you paradox of a shadow, I need you around.

She had spent a lot of time there starting from when the Thunder had begun. Skywhisker was obviously tired and Squirrelkit absolutely hated storms. So when the thunder and rain began, the ginger warrior went to the nursery to look after Skywhisker's kits while she slept. It was the least she could do for her friend. She cared about the beautiful white she-warrior so much. Skywhisker had been Featherheart's first real friend. In fact, she was like a sister to the ginger she-warrior. Featherheart let out a squeak when a drop of rain landed square on her head. Shaking her head, she scurried until she was sheltering under one of the overhangs in camp. Sitting down she let out a sigh. Sometimes she wondered where in the name of Starclan Skywhisker got her confidence from. She wasn't afraid to go up to someone and invite them into her conversation. In fact that is exactly how Skywhisker had become Featherheart's friend. The pretty white warrior had been talking with Brightspirit, Featherheart had just visited the kits in the nursery when out of nowhere Skywhisker called her over. It was then that the friendship between the two she-cat's began. They went hunting together and well, they did a lot together. When Featherheart introduced Skywhisker to Burrpelt, she figured that her snowy friend wouldn't have time for her anymore, but she did; she made time. When Oaktail died, Skywhisker managed to be there for her mate as well as for Featherheart. It surprised the ginger warrior that Skywhisker knew that Oaktail's death upset her, she had thought she was doing a good job at hiding it, but Skywhisker had seen right through it. When she took the time to think about it, Featherheart still missed the fluffy tom. He was the first tom she had ever felt anything for. Featherheart looked up to the clouds. You'll always have a place in my heart Oaktail. She thought with a sigh. She wished she had told him how she felt when he was alive but no, she had let her fear get the best of her and now she had to live with that. Shaking her head, she rasped her tongue over her paw and rubbed it on her face a few times.] (( Our Two Bits: )) ↪↪↪↪↪↪↪↪↪↪↪↪↪↪↪↪↪↪↪↪ ═══════════════I'm waiting for the moonlight So I can find you In this perfect dream Don't think that you can Hide there in the shadows Dude your not invisible Your all that I can see═══════════════ Somethings changing deep inside All my hopes are comin' alive As we're fading into the night I can see your eyes ═══════════════ Your all that I can see And my heart slows down

Silverstar had just ordered a retreat to the cave StormClan had sheltered in during the last flood a few moons ago, which was higher up the rocky hill. We were ordered to transport kittens and herbs to the cave first. Obviously, my first priority was my kittens. I rushed into the nursery and grabbed Lightningkit and Tempestkit. My father was already inside, grabbing Twisterkit in his jaws. Whisperblade was left to grab Blizzardkit before we raced out and dashed for the cave. I sent a hearty thanks to StarClan for the cave. It was a brilliant shelter from the rain. Otherwise, I didn't know how we would shelter safely from the storm. The cave would provide ample room for those who needed to get dry. It couldn't fit all of StormClan, but we had taken shifts before in and out of the rain. We could do it again. We knew the routine this time, remembering the last time it flooded. I placed my kittens down with my family and raced back out to help Moonblaze gather her herbs. I approached the white she-cat, blinking worriedly at her.] "What do you need help with?" It was a blessing Skywhisker moaned again as she made an effort to pick up all three kits in her jaws. Which, if anyone couldn't guess was extremely hard. As the rain got louder, the young mother's panic grew. What if she couldn't get her kits out in time? What if her babies were to drown?! With those thoughts in her head she scrambled to try and grasp the scruffs of her three kits. "Starclan why is this so hard?!" She hissed.
"Momma? I can walk." Little Glimmerkit squeaked. Skywhisker looked down at the little tyke.
"No no no. You don't need to."
"What about aunty Featherheart? Or Dawnsky?" She mewed softly.
Skywhisker shook her head in disbelief. Of course! "Featherheart?! Dawnsky?! Burrpelt?" She called out, hoping one of them would come to help her. LOCATION: Stormclan Densite COMPANY: Whisperblade, Blizzardkit OOC: Don't know if I'm over exaggerating about the flood, but I kinda pictured the whole campsite ground turning into a boggy marshland lol
The rain pelted down relentlessly as the thunder roared overhead, as if it was trying to scare the clan cats into submission. Cats ran in every direction, yowling to each other and hissing as the boggy ground dragged at their paws. It was at times like this Ebonysun was thankful for his short pelt, he could not imagine the level of misery Thunderflight and Thor were in right now, with their massive and thick fur coats. Silverstar had called out an order of retreat, telling the warriors to grab any herbs they could salvage as well as all the kits. Ebonysun leapt to his feet and started bounding his way over to the medicine cat's den, figuring that there would be more than enough cats fussing over the kits at the moment. He managed to get about half way before a flash of black suddenly appeared in front of his eyes, seemingly out of nowhere. There was only one cat who could approach him silently even in the midst of a thunderstorm, and that was...Whisperblade. The disgust he held for the former Nightclan warrior was evident in his eyes as the black and white tom opened one gold eye slightly, revealing a tint of gold in a lighter shade than his own orange orbs. As soon as Whisperblade asked him to take the kit at his paws to safety, Ebonysun glared down at the half-masked kit with dislike. The little bundle of fur looked pathetic with his fur bogged down with rain, and there was no doubt that if he was left alone, he would die of cold and exposure in the rain. The kit that was not of pure Stormclan blood, it would be so easy to get rid of him amidst the chaos...
However, Ebonysun was not a tom who thought in that way. As much as his mind might be thought to be twisted by some, the kit was innocent in his own right and he had done no wrong as of then. The crime was of his parents, not him, so he would allow the kittens of their wretched litter to live. "Very well." Ebonysun growled as he belt and picked up Blizzardkit in his jaws, bounding away without wasting another word to the former Nightclan warrior. The ebony warrior was strong and muscular, and even with a kitten in his jaws his pace did not seem to slow much. It didn't take him long to reach the cave, and immediately he made a beeline for the kit's family, stepping over a few cats who lay in the way. Wordlessly he dropped the half-masked kit with the rest of his litter, fixing him with a steely glare with his orange eyes that would surely intimidate, or scare him very badly. "Stay." He snarled at Blizzardkit before bounding out again, this time heading back to the Nursery. He could see that Skywhisker was struggling to shepherd her kits away from the danger of the blood. "Here, let me." He meowed as he bent down and picked up one of the kits (whoever that is, you can decide). The kit swung in his jaws as he walked with Skywhisker, keeping pace with her. Featherheart had already picked up another, so now all three kits were away from the danger of the boggy marshland that was once their campsite. Wordlessly Ebonysun pointed in the direction of the cave with his tail, indicating that the rest of the kits were already there (I think...?).
Since Skywhisker and Featherheart had committed no wrong in his eyes, to them Ebonysun acted as any normal warrior would, lending a helping paw when needed. To...other cats though, he was nowhere near this friendly.

Although, even after a moon, none of the cats had showed any signs of making any decisions regarding her. She had spent her day in the same den all alone, unless she could could count her guards as company. Although she rarely talked to whatever cat was on guard and the clan cats did make any move to start a conversation with her. So she had been left alone with her thoughts and soon the days seemed to almost blend together. As was to be expected, Larka found herself bored out of her mind most of the time and either tired, hungry, or both the rest of the time. Sometimes, she wondered why she had even chosen to be taken back to StormClan instead of fleeing from the patrol and leaving their territory. However, soon after that thought appeared, another quickly outshines it, reminding Larka that she was no coward that would run away from a bunch of clan cats. She would then sigh or groan and that train of thought would come to a quick end. Larka knew she would remain in StormClan's camp as a prisoner until they decided what to do with her. At least they hadn't done anything to harm her and she had been getting food whenever the clan had food to spare. So at least they weren't making her starve or practicing battle moves on her. She tried to look on the bright side but she still longed to be able to leave camp just once and go for a run, or hunt, or even swim. Larka had discovered her passion for swimming, and fishing, soon after she had escaped the twolegs. The prey that lived on the ground wasn't always around and, to avoid starving, Larka had been forced to get her paws wet. Surprisingly, the white she-cat had enjoyed the taste of fish and soon attempted to see what swimming was like, liking it just as much. If only she could do that now... maybe one day soon.
But the prisoner was quickly snapped out of her daydreams when she heard the orders for cats to begin retreating from the camp. The pure white she-cat shot to her feet and walked to the entrance of the den, not even noticing that her guard was barking orders at her. She stared up at the rain as it poured out of the sky and landed in the already large puddles in the camp. She could;t believe this was happening again! At least this time the clan seemed prepared, not as many cats were frantically racing around without a clue what to do. Larka could suppress a small smile as she watched the rain pour down, for a moment ignoring the fact that the flood was quickly worsening. Watching the thunder in fascination, Larka flicked her tail from side to side only to jolt out of her thoughts as the ground underneath her quickly became wet, soft, and muddy. She lifted one her white, now slightly brown, paws and then glanced around, looking for some was out of this camp. It was only then that she noticed her guard had also left her. Stupid clan cat! She let out a hiss of frustration before diving out into the rain. Her short pelt got soaked within seconds but Larka didn't mind; it was almost like swimming. However the ground was muddy beneath her paws and the mud soon began to stain her paws and lower legs, though Larka hardly noticed. She was too busy dodging past clan cats as she made her way to the exit. So maybe they weren't as organized as she had first thought. Cats were dashing all over the place, all trying to help rescue the kits and then these weird leaves. Seriously? They could get new leaves later, they couldn't get new lives! Unless these leaves were special to the clans... Well she could learn later. Right now she needed to get out of this camp.
Quickly, the proud she-cat managed to escape the flooded camp and let out a sigh of relief once her paws touched the wet grass. She flicked her ears back and forth as she listened for other cats and tried to make up her mind. Currently she had no guard, the clan was in a panic, and it was raining heavily. If she wanted to, she could easily flee and, by the time anyone noticed she was gone, the rain would have washed out her scent. She could escape and be free once again. No more being a prisoner to these strange cats. A small, devious smile crept onto her face as she glanced around to make sure no one was actually watching her and couldn't help but feel very satisfied when no one was. She was just about to take a step forward when a loud crack of thunder filled her ears and lightning shot across the darkened skies. Larka's ears flattened against her skull as a large branch fell from one of the trees, blocking Larka's escape root. There was no way she could climb over the branch before she was caught. Now she had no choice but she trudge along with the rest of this clan to the cave. Groaning angrily, the wet she-cat turned on her heels and began to follow after some of the cats to the cave where she had taken shelter at during the last flood. As she walked, she spotted two she-cats [ Skywhisker and Featherheart ] with three kits, along with a black tom with amber eyes [ Ebonysun ] helping them. Her ears pricked slightly and headed over to them. She hadn't really socialized with any StormClan cats but she would offer her help if it was needed. She wasn't heartless. So, she came up along the three cats and dipped her head. "Do you need any help?" she asked over the loud rain, her striking blue eyes glancing at the three cats and the kits in their mouthes. The kits stilled seemed to be young and Larka would hate for anything to happen to them just because of this storm. They deserved to have a life to live with their whole family. So that was why, even though she didn't know, or care, for any of the cats in this clan, Larka still put out an offer to help the mother, her kits, and her clanmates.

A path to follow, a path to meet a path of sorrow, a path so sweet
Thor[Thor raised his head as Ebonysun approached his daughter's children, his dark blue eyes narrowing suspiciously. His eyes widened in shock as the tom placed one of her kittens down in the nest. What was he doing with one of Thunderflight's children?! The black tom watched the warrior retreat, his tail lashing in confused anger. Is this tom mad? he wondered. Why would he help Thunderflight...? However, Thor couldn't keep himself from feeling slightly impressed. Despite the tom's own hatred of the rogue's daughter and her mate, he hadn't harmed the kitten in any way. Although Thor didn't agree with his twisted sense of justice, he was relieved the tom didn't seek any harm towards the innocents. He muttered to himself, glancing around.] "Does anyone need help?" he called out gruffly, squinting through the darkness at the murky shapes shifting in and out of the cave.Storm hath made me, burdened with fear storm hath saved me, my one so dear

█ ██ █████ ███████████ ████████████████ █████████████████ Miraclesky, ever hyper and eccentric as she was, had happened to be returning from a leisurely stroll among the trees of StormClan with a plump mouse in her jaws. Unfortunately, that was all she was able to find in the brewing storm. As she entered through the thorn tunnel, a fading echo of Silverstar's retreat order resounded in her tufty orange ears. Her bright blue eyes widened, and leaping forward to bring up the pace, she came barrelling into camp, her blue eyes wide. She tried to stop, but instead of skidding or sliding to a smooth stop, which was what she had in mind, Miraclesky managed to catch her front paws on each other in a tangle of clumsiness and pitch herself forward. She rolled once, then came to a stop with her nose in the mud. At least it was mud- it was slippery! Picking herself up, the orange she-cat shook herself, looked about to see if anyone had seen, then trotted off with the mouse in her jaws as if nothing had happened. No, not anyone would notice her freshly muddied coat, that was for sure!
Miraclesky made a beeline for the medicine den, noting that many cats were already helping with kits, but not many were helping with herbs. She nodded once to Ebonysun, Featherheart, and Skywisker, and then again to Thor as she passed. She dropped her mouse at the entrance to the medicine den, then pressed her languid form into the den beside Moonblaze.
Cheerful as ever, Miraclesky chirped, "Okay, Moonblaze, what can I help with?"
The orange she-cat blinked once, and then without hesitation, she plunged her head into the pile of herbs Moonblaze had arranged and grabbed a huge mouthful. With wide, innocent blue eyes, Miraclesky blinked and attempted to mumble around the herbs, "Is this okay? Or do I need to take more?"
The orange she-cat waited patiently for Moonblaze's command to leave and take the herbs to the refuge cave. Miraclesky hated leaving before the job was done!

If you're the one who catches me Of something real
Tell that you'll be there when I'm I have a choice
About to lose it all But I don't know what to feel

Mate to: Burrpelt☆*´¨`*☆☆*´¨`*☆☆*´¨`*☆ Skywhisker looked up with relief when Featherheart dashed into the nursery. Thank Starclan! She thought with relief as her ginger friend picked up Glimmerkit. Nodding, the pretty white queen bent down to take Squirrelkit and Brisk-kit by the scruff when all of a sudden she scented another cat nearby. Looking up her mismatched eyes settled on the black pelt of Ebonysun. She let out a purr as the ebony coloured warrior took Brisk-kit by the scruff. With a nod, she herself picked up Squirrelkit and began to pad away, not letting Featherheart nor Ebonysun out of her sight. At that moment they were holding her world. She would die if anything happened to them. Skywhisker made a small nod with her head when Ebonysun pointed with his tail.
Padding forward in the rain, Skywhisker was becoming unbearably tired and she couldn't figure out why. It was bothering her to no end that she was tired. Maybe she had been laying in the nursery for too long. After all, she was a hunter and hunters didn't sit still for that many moons. All of a sudden Skywhisker stumbled forward and with a yelp her mouth opened. Gasping she quickly managed to snatch Squirrelkit before she hit the ground. It was at that moment that Larka padded up to them. Now as a mother, Skywhisker did not want to give the she-cat her kit, but being realistic she realized that it was better for Squirrelkit. So she nodded and held Squirrelkit out to Larka.

Skywhisker blinked open her eyes and quickly looked down at her three kits, giving each of them a lick on the head. She was glad that Stormclan was full of such amazing cats. If it wasn't for Featherheart, Ebonysun and Larka she would have been stuck in the camp trying to save her kits. Then where would things have gone? But thankfully that didn't happen and so now she was here, back in the cave. "Momma? Have we been here before?" Glimmerkit's voice piped up as she looked at her mother with wide, sightless eyes. "Yes. We were here last time we had a flood." Skywhisker meowed with a nod. Every time she heard something, the white pelted queen jumped. Shaking her head, she curled herself around her kits and rested her head on her paws, eyes focused on the entrance. She didn't like it here. In fact, she was beginning to resent the cave, but did she complain? Of course not. Skywhisker was never one to complain and she was not going to start now.((Out Of Cats: ))☆*´¨`*☆☆*´¨`*☆☆*´¨`*☆Sweet / Caring / Swift / Gentle / Kind / Terrific Hunter / Strong / Understanding / Friendly / Determined████████████████ █████████████████ ████████████████████████████████████Sisters annoy, interfere, criticize. With a silent yawn, white teeth glintign in the early morning sunlight, Silverstar, leader of StormClan, peeked out from her slumber. Sounds of breathing and fur rustling reached the silver leader's ears. Silverstar opened her eyes fully, orbs of emerald green planted into a sea of silver fur. The she-cat eased herself into a sitting position, quietly and carefully stretching her limbs. Her body and joints were stiff from the moisture and flood earlier, as well as the frantic race against the clouds to save most of the camp. All the kittens were safely rescued, as well as most of the herbs. No cats were injured, thank StarClan, but the camp required a lot of recovery work.
As that thought entered Silverstar's mind, the she-cat blinked slowly and lowered her head. It seemed like the camp had only been rescued from a different flood, a different storm only a short time ago. And again, StarClan was putting StormClan through its paces. With a quietly heavy sigh, the slender silver she-cat carefully picked her way through the throng of cats filling the den. She pulled herself from the cave, then peered around the small clearing, squinting in the sunlight. Her pelt warmed with the light, and, taking a deep breath of the freshly moist air, turned back to the cave. Her emerald eyes darted once to the nursery cave, then to the medicine cave. Silverstar caught sight of Moonblaze's white flank and Fadinghorizon's orange flank rising and falling, deep in slumber. Silverstar's eyes softened at that, the continued to the warriors' cave. Silverstar searched until she found a familiar black pelt among the throng.
Stepping carefully back into the cave, Silverstar made her way toward her deputy. Careful not to disturb anyone else, Silverstar bent her neck downward until her muzzle was nearly touching Thunderflight's ear. With a gentle prod in the shoulder, Silverstar murmured, "Thunderflight. Thunderflight, wake up. Meet me outside." Silverstar waited until the black she-cat stirred, then slunk back outside to wait for her deputy. She settled herself in the damp ferns, taking pleasure in the coolness against her fur. Is h o n e s t y so hard to a c h i e v e? Is t r u s t so hard to e a r n?

W i l y p a wnnnnnnnnnn- B) An NPC could have the dead squirrel or someone's actual cat, if they so wish. -
Wilypaw mouthed a silent hiss of undisguised disgust at the utterly limp and slightly soggy squirrel carcass the he was rolling under his paws. Brown fur stuck out of it like clefts of a uniquely fuzzy cliff and the tail had been reduced to a skinny little line of bone. slicked with mud. The jaws on it were slack and a small tongue hung from it's mouth with the entire purpose of proving it's deadness to anyone who had had doubted it's lack of life in the first place. The body surrendered to Wilypaw's every poke and prod and it's insides were likely akin to a bunch of sticks and mud mixed together. Wilypaw twisted his head around, switching his attention from the broken body, to his back which now was a startling white colour. His eyes held a clear malignancy as he soaked the unnatural sight in, and he couldn't understand how his legs had somehow managed to get caked perfectly in mud and everything else hadn't. The mad dash for higher ground during the flood had involved Wilypaw slipping and swerving his way in the torrents of rain toward the fresh kill pile, figuring that any attempt to help a kit or medicine things would probably end up with him sprawling it everywhere and then being scolded and that running away without helping would likely end up with the same results. With the grace of a vulture with a broken wing, Wilypaw was able to snatch a squirrel in his jaws before turning tail and retreating while the rain battered most of the mud off his pelt.
Shaking his head with disgust one last time at the sheen emanating from his fur, Wilypaw picked up his bedraggled squirrel and set it dead in front of a warrior nearby his curly corner. With careful paws he prodded the squirrels head in a such a way that the first thing the warrior was to see was a dangling tongue and bulging squirrel eyes. Satisfied at his actions, Wilypaw returned to his make shift nest to rest his head on his paws and stare at the entrance, waiting for an indication to do something. uuuuuuuuuu
