Rhaplanca shivered at a magic field, it wasn't familiar to her as song magic was, "Teru magic huh?" it didn't bother her, just surprised her.Ishira
Ishira laughed and scratched the back of his head, "Don't let it bother you, it's just something Miko was born with. It happens naturally to her and you just kinda get used to it," he got back to topic, "WOAH! Gannon's back? He lost his what?!" Ishira's hands darted, one gently from Rhaplanca's, to his horns hid beneath his headband is a defense manner, "Aw man, that's gotta suck," he winced, "Mana too?" he lowered his hands, "She met a Reyvateil?" Ishira was kinda disappointed, "I see, I was really hoping to find more vanguards for Rhaplanca. But I'm happy for you guys!" "I'm a little disappointed too," she admitted, "Still, I would like to meet the rest your friends though," she told Ishira.

Gannon… 
"Ow... That was a kick, damnit... Get your words straight!" The Teru reached down and rubbed his shin where Mana had kicked him. After hearing the insult slung at him by the half-breed, he added under his breath, "I'd rather it be the tree than you, ya damn banshee..." Once the throbbing started to go away, Gannon stood. "Yeah, we should probably get outta-" Before he could finish, Hikari collapsed. He caught her, letting her lean against him. "Of all the times ta get sick... Ya musta really been on the run, eh?" The Teru helped Hikari to her feet again, but stayed close enough in case her legs went out again.

Mana~
"I feel sorry for the tree, then," Mana shot back. She paused and looked over Hikari once more before striding out the door. "I'm going to head over to the shop and pick up some medicine. Some tranquility and diquility wouldn't hurt, either," she added to herself as she stepped outside. No sooner did she step out the door then did she see Ishira with a young girl. "Ishira, that you? Holy crap! I thought you were gone?" She looked at Miko questioningly.

Hikari~
"S-sorry, Gannon," Hikari murmured. "I've been on the run for awhile and I guess it just caught up to me." She heard Mana mutter something about diquility to herself and felt sick all over again. The life-extending agent. Hikari shuddered, not wanting to think about it. It shouldn't be Tattoolist... I was just given an installation a few weeks ago. I should still have a few weeks to go. The Reyvateil blushed when she realized that she was still clinging to him for support. "I'm okay now. I think I'll go tell Mana she doesn't need to buy any diquility." Hikari let go and started forward swaying as she walked. As soon as she got out the door she bumped into Mana, sending her tumbling back on her bottom in her wobbly state. She looked up to see the other Teru and the Reyvateil with him. "..." She didn't know if it was the fever or just the fear that overtook her when greeting newcomers but Hikari found that she couldn't speak. So she just sat there dumbly, staring off into space.

She nodded when Ishira asked about Gannon in disbelief. "Yeah, he kind of seemed down about it too." She was about to add something else when her sister came out muttering something. She was followed by the Reyvateil who made a complete klutz of herself by smacking into her. "Hey, watch it!" She exclaimed. Then she did a double-take on Hikari. The girl looked pale and her eyes were glazed over. "Hikari?"

Ishira smirked at Mana, "Well if it isn't Ce Palym's own little runaway!" he jested, "Rhaplanca this is Miko's twin, Mana, but trust me they are nothing alike!" he laughed heartily, "Mana this is Rhaplanca, she requested me as her vanguard," he explained, "We're just passing through."Rhaplanca
"I understand that you are a vanguard as well Mana," she smiled, "It's a pleasure to meet you," she nodded. Suddenly Rhaplanca noticed a rather pale looking girl behind Mana, "A third generation?" she asked automatically and fished in her satchel and pulled out a rather large sized diquility crystal, "Use this. Sorry that it's so large, Part of the reason why I couldn't sell it for money to use on my trip," she frowned, "But I'll hand it over to you," she told Mana but then looked at the man who was following the Reyvateil protectively, "Actually, it would be better suited in your hands," she gave him the crystal, "You'd better hurry," she added.

Gannon…
Gannon took the crystal and glanced at it before tossing it back to the woman. "No thanks. Don't need it." He helped Hikari to her feet, keeping ahold of her, just in case. "Sure doesn't look like Tattoolist ta me. What she needs is sleep. We had a hard climb up the Steppe," The Teru offered as an explanation. Even around someone he had known for a while like Ishira, he wasn't going to mention that the Reyvateil had been on the run. He'd only known her for a short while, but he was already willing to do what it took to protect her.

She did a face-palm. "What the heck is this, pick on Mana day? Sheesh... I'm regretting coming back," she griped. Her words spoke her feelings, but the smirk stayed plastered on her face. She really was itching to get out of Ce Palym. It just wasn't home to her.

Rhaplanca caught the crystal delicately with both hands. She was hurt by the rejection of a gift but she stuffed it in her satchel and merely kept quiet. Shutting down was a defense she commonly used to keep from showing emotion when she was upset.Ishira
Ishira noticed Gannon's concern for Hikari and felt sympathy, "You can all stay at the shrine for free of course," he frowned, "however, the distance is a problem," he pointed out.

Hikari~
After being helped up she decided against going off on her own and just stayed put, partially leaning on Gannon. "Thank you. Sorry, I'm a burden like this." She noticed the other Reyvateil's reaction and knew immediately that she was upset. "Thank you... um, for the crystal, I mean," she said to Rhaplanca, smiling slightly. She didn't know the girl but she had tried to help. "People don't usually go out of their way to help us, so, thank you."
She was feeling exhausted and feverish, but still, she was worried about staying. "What should we do?" She asked the others.

 Rhaplanca smiled ever so slightly at Hikari's attempt to console her and her gaze softened, "I believe that everyone is worth helping," Sadly, what of myself? She smiled wider to hide the pain.

"We should stay the night, I think." Mana spoke up, completely serious for once. "You're in no condition to travel as you are. Aw, man, I was hoping not to spend any more time in this city," she groaned. "What a pain." She looked over at Ishira. "You guys must have some serious money if you could put us all up in a room. I mean, wouldn't we crowd you out? Come on, smart guy? Any bright ideas?" She waited for Gannon's input.

"Our shrine is large but humble," Ishira informed, "We offer a room for anyone in need," he smiled, "Of course it's completely up to you, offer stands. You can have your own private wing if it's makes you choose free over an inn," he added with a shrug.

"Yeah," He glanced at Mana. "Actually, I do. I know the owner of the Inn pretty well. I'm sure she'll put us up for the night. Besides," He added for Ishira. "It's a hell of a lot closer. Thanks fer the offer, but we're used ta takin' care of ourselves." Like hell I'm stayin' in some shrine. 'Sides, could be a trap...
He couldn't help but think of the battle they had heard only a short while ago. It could very well be that these two were actually after Hikari. Gannon couldn't take the chance. They'd rest for a while at the Inn and leave when everyone else was asleep. The only hard part would be waking up the sisters. Quite frankly, he just wasn't in the mood ta get smacked across the face if Mana took things the wrong way.
