Silia nodded as Anya explained her plan. "I see. Well, I was hatched here, but from what my parents told me, most all the dragons in the rest of the world were gone when they moved here, and that was decades before my time. I wouldn't be surprised if we are all but extinct out there. But we'll have time to decide on a course of action before you're strong enough to leave. You've lost quite a bit of blood, and it will be a while before your leg starts to mend."

If she hadn't been so busy with measuring and cutting the branches for Anya's splint, she probably would have noticed 'Swillow' whispering to Anya, but as it was, she took no notice.

When Ci'nala requested a job, Silia looked around for a moment. "Well, the fire is pretty well dead. Would you like to try your hand at being a mother?" she smiled, nodding toward the eggs.

Subira crossed her arms listening to the three speak of dragons, smiling a little and shaking her head somewhat. Since she already had eaten, she just asked for a glass of water from the waitress. She didn't mind playing the devil's advocate. "Why? Why should people be punished for taking them? Unless you are all against zoos, pet shops, animal reserves and national parks, hunting, ranches, fur coats and leather products, eating meat, and laboratories? It's human nature; find a new resource, and figure out how to utilize it." She offered up a passive shrug. "As for flying on a dragon... wouldn't that be a thrill? But first it would have to be domesticated. You wouldn't walk up to a wild stallion and hop on it, would you?"

"Prisoner?" asked Grael. "So, she must be one of the scientists. Where are they at now? I am in my human form and could go and keep an eye on them." Grael offered. What was it with all of the dragons on this island having humans as friends? It didn't make sense for those closest to danger to be the ones who were most open. Perhaps they had all been brainwashed or something.

Grael jumped off of the branch and landed at the feet of Eclipse. "Do you mind if I go to your den and visit the former prisoner of the scientist when you go back? I would love to ask him a few questions."

Grael nodded and followed his gaze to the small restaurant. "I'll just stop in for a small peek at the scientist." Having siad this, Grael began to move confidently to the restaurant. She stepped inside and walked over to the table neighboring the group of four.

She could smell Eclipse on Kai, which was how she was able to figure out which group was the correct one. She ordered a water that would sent, undrank in front of her as she listened to the conversation behind her.

Myia looked at Subira with her mouth open. How could anyone say that? She looked down. "No. That evil. So many bad things could happen. Dragons could completely disappear their bloodlines would be lost because of people wanting them as pets. There are so many things that would go wrong." She said. She looked at Kai and smiled. "Sure, it would be a great way to see the island." She said as she looked outside.

Lillia remained quiet as Subira spoke. A smile slowly crossed her face. "Yes we should do that one day." She looked at Kai. She turned to Subira. Why would anyone come out in the open like that about a such a subject. 'Well whatever.' She thought as what Subira was true to a point. 'All ways to make money.

Silia watched as Ci'nala started taking care of the eggs. She couldn't help but smile. She looked as though she was a pro at this, like she had eggs of her own. It was almost sweet. "You know, I think you would make a wonderful mother some day. You seem to be such a natural."

Having sized the last stick, she started putting them in place. "Alright, Swillow. Would you mind holding these in place while I wrap the binding? Or would you rather wrap?"

Sa-ar stirred again in his sleep. As tired as he was from the long journey and the rise and fall of adrenaline, he found himself unable to nap for long. Perhaps it was due to the many years he had been forced to slumber. Peeking one peridot eye open, he glanced around, momentarily disoriented. His tail flickered, and some bats unsettled yet again, and it came back to him. Folding his wings tight against himself, he slithered out from the narrow tunnels he'd nestled into. Finally reaching the mouth of the cave, he coiled up his long body, spread his wings, and sprang out into the air, quickly flapping to catch the draft.

Kai narrowed his eyes at Subira, then grinned "Actually, I would try to 'hop on' a wild horse...but first I'd make sure it knows I'm not dangerous. As for them coming after cities, they don't because they are powerful, wise and sentient beings.. they know that would only cause problems with arrogant people, like yourself and Myia for example." he shrugged and half smiled.


Eclipse watched at Grael went to the hume building, then went back to listening to Kai and the others. He growled lowly at the words the new one spoke, calling dragons animals... personally he didn't want anything to do with their hive-like homes...far too many humes in one spot for his taste...
