When Rain told him she was half-vampire, it all fell into place. The red dress factor, her features...it all made sense now. Austin tucked away his little sleuthing-victory to answer Rain's question, pushing the matter far back into his mind.
"I see. I'm 18 myself now...Even though I'm young it still makes me feel old, remembering the way things were in comparison to how they are now."
Austin sweatdropped, noticing he was ranting again.
" I'm sorry, i can't help myself sometimes."
He shook his head for a second, then looked back up.
" Might I ask where you're from, if you remember?"

Oh, so her date didn’t ditch her. Wow, how considerate!

But, she couldn’t help but give the young fellow a small embarrassed smile, her docile nature coming into play as he showed her a proper and compassionate welcome in honor of her actually showing up in all her state. It was sort of cute, she guessed, but really, a small wave could do. Taking her hand back just as the young man slobbered a kiss upon her holy knuckles, she took a few steps back to showcase some space between them. Of course, being an upperclassman, she wanted to actually have some power here and not the other way around.

”uhhh-“ she started. Trying to capture some thoughts within her unstable frantic mind. It was barely hard to think with all this blasting noise, yet even when someone just graced her hand with a greeting kiss! ”hi?” she finally found the word, even if it was a simple ‘hello.’ Her large innocent lavender eyes roamed to his small companion that was perched within his delicate hand. ”Oh!” she giggled like a cherub running frantically in the heavens, causing some mischief as usual. ”How cutteee!” she squealed like a silly fangirl.

”That is a lovely power you have. It certainly defeats my pathetic abilities, hands down!” she explained, feeling quite silly that her angelic powers look lame next to everyone’s awesome abilities. ”Oh my! Oh dear!” she nervously cried, hands up to her lips and then to her cheeks to pinch them with. ”This won’t do! I am so sincerely sorry that I left you hanging! Honestly.” she apologized with a haste curtsy. She could explain why she was late, but seriously, it was an embarrassing story. Upon her way to the dance, she got distracted by the Halloween decorations that were displayed everywhere on campus. It seemed everyone got into the spooky spirit, that every building was decorating so delicately and thoroughly. Plus, it would look bad on Ai if word went out that bright lights easily distract her.

”Well, its an honor to finally meet you Sam, and your little friend Haku.” she spoke with tenderness as she giggled snorted like the cute girl she is.

Varon shrugged at her question, he'd thought the idea had already been laid out; but then again, not many people were very familiar in this area, "You'd have to describe the sensation itself and the connection it has- the relation to the subject, if you may."

He shifted his gaze slightly, the encounter had left him somewhat dull. Halloween was usually the night to vanish from campus and haunt the nearby settlements bymeans of the conjuring of an entire host of ethereal entities and thus conducting a mass-haunting to remember. In any case, it was always wise to invest in the future, which meant putting up with a few uneventful moments, "I'm afraid you're making little sense here, you-" The blast caught him by surprise and momentarily brought up a feeling of thrill and an exhilarating rush, betraying his calm demeanor for an instant before being overtaken by a cool-headed facade, "That you should..." he added to her comment before the thoughts, 'or not' crossed through his mind.

Lancaster pulled Phae close to him with his hand around her tiny waist. "Then I will die the happiest man who ever lived. To die, falling in love with someone as lovely as you, my lady is a dream come true. Though it would be a shame to take away someone like me." He smiled to her and lifted her again setting her on the tops of his feet. "Then allow me to lead you and show you the love and passion that dancing can show."

Ryu watched as Cat left and then turned to Cam. "Well you should be having fun!" he smiled to her. "Its a dance. These things are supposed to be enjoyable. Though I can understand if you aren't used to these situations how it could be a bit intimidating." he leaned back against the wall and didn't say anything for several moments. Instead he watched what was happening around the room. "The best thing you can do is pretend like you're meant to be here. You are the bell of the ball." he grinned at her. Ryu was a very nice person and liked to make friends.

Phae felt herself being put onto his feet. She guessed this was so their height difference wasn't so backbreaking to him. He was a very tall person, muscular though very lean.

The last cords of the song died out and Phae felt something rather strange. "There the song has ended." She said simply. She was still standing on his feet. "Now you can go and fall in love with one of the other girls and forget about me." Half of her hoped that he would walk away, and that he'd ask another girl to dance and never talk to her again. The other half wished he'd stay to talk. She felt like kicking that side. "You know I've just met you. I think you're an egotistical maniac but really you're the first person thats really interested me. I don't know why. For some reason I like talking to you."

She sighed then looked up. Since she was on his feet still she didn't have to crane her neck so far. She looked at him very seriously. "But the song has ended, and now you just need to forget about me. I can't be your friend and I certainly can't be anything else." She felt something on her cheek. Idiot! Why was she crying? Why was this upsetting her. It wasn't the first time she had to tell someone to just walk away. "I'm sorry."

She goes to talk when a girl exactly like here only more confident strides up next to her with red eyes, the other girls being silver. "She can't tell you what it was like because she cant remeber. Her emotions seem to be split at the moment"

L1:"Sir Varon, this is my other half, my inner me, Ariana."
L2: "Yeah yeah, lets skip the introductions, did you find out who it is yet?"
L1: No, I was jsut explaining."
L2: "Well then Ill explain. She felt an extreme happiness, as if an old friend was here. But then the pain, of when he was murdered." She smiles. "That descipirtive enough for you?" She smirks
L1: "Please Miss Ari..."

Sam glanced over at where Ryu was outside the door, a bit embarrassed at his behavior... but yet a bit glad to see that no one knew that they knew each other. Sam nodded toward Ai, smiling a bit. "Hi." He said simply. Haku stuck her fist in her mouth, smiling cutely up at Ai, doing the same as Sam had done, smiling while cocking her head to the side and closing her eyes. Sam's ears twitched and his tail swished nervously side to side behind him as he heard Ai talk about his powers. "Oh, I'm... not so sure about that." She said nervously, rubbing the back of her neck, then added. "What are your powers?" She wasn't good at playing a guy. But as it turned out, she had a great Idea. "Thats fine... I'm Use to it... Want to try out the hedge maze or something?" He asked her, placing Haku on his shoulder. Personally, Haku and her hadn't tried anything but the food. His ears went down before flicking up and down, listening to the music and sounds around the room, his tail fluffing up and swaying back and forth.

Cam nodded and then chuckled. "Well it is easier said then done. I believe that is the phase in this realm at least." she said to him and chuckled. She was listening to the song. "I am assuming though that your date must be freshening herself up though." she chuckled softly and looked up at him, her crimson colored eyes curiously waiting for an answer.

"Or is it that you do not dance well?" she smirked and chuckled some more. She could tell that he was a nice man, but often she had trouble trusting people so easily. It was odd how comfortable she felt with this man.

Cat looked around at the other groups and dates in the dance. She herself had been asked but she had decided just to go with her sister. She helped herself to a bit of the punch and took a tiny sip. She wondered sometimes who these people were and where they came from. Many were so different from each other.

She leaned against the wall as well, her black wings contrasted greatly against her violet dress, but that only made Cat even more dazzling than she could imagine.

Xavoko on the other hand was still watching. For now, he had been requested to dance, and so he took the offer generously. However, the song had ended, both he and the woman wished each other a good evening, and the social time was over.

He felt like creating some mischief. After all, Xavoko was a partial amount of feline, even though he didn't know what he was. He scanned the room and spotted Cam, who was still talking with Ryu.

He walked over graciously and bowed. "Milady, may I have this next dance?" he asked, taking her hand.

Cam had no idea what to do at that point and accepted, looking to Ryu and chuckling. "Well, I guess that I'll see you in a bit." she said as she was led to the dancefloor by Xavoko.

Cat went to Ryu now and giggled. "Forgie my sister if she seemed nervous. She's not used to very social situations." she said. "But I see she went off to dance with that man. You should ask her. She seems to trust you." she said, smiling.
